Quantum-Inspired Constraint Satisfaction for Machine Learning
Jincheng Zhang
Abstract
Quantum-Inspired Constraint Satisfaction (QICS) aims to address the limitations of classical constraint satisfaction algorithms by incorporating quantum mechanics principles. This research proposes a novel constraint satisfaction algorithm, QICS, that leverages 'quantum-enhanced exploration' to improve generalization and robustness. The core mechanism centers around introducing a quantum-inspired search strategy, which dynamically adjusts the search parameters based on observed solutions, facilitating a more efficient exploration of the solution space. This paper outlines the algorithm's design, demonstrates its performance through a series of benchmark problems, and discusses the potential implications of this approach for machine learning.
