Abstract

Quantum-Enhanced Constraint Propagation (QCEP) presents a novel approach to constraint propagation, leveraging quantum annealing and quantum error correction to accelerate optimization of complex constraint sets. Classical constraint propagation methods often struggle with large and intricate constraints, leading to slow convergence and limited solution quality. This research proposes a quantum algorithm designed to overcome these limitations by exploiting quantum phenomena to efficiently explore the solution space, ultimately facilitating faster and more accurate optimization. The core mechanism centers on utilizing quantum annealing to systematically search the constraint space, while quantum error correction is employed to mitigate the effects of noise and improve the stability of the search process. This paper details the theoretical framework, implementation of the quantum algorithm, and preliminary results demonstrating the potential for significant speedups compared to classical methods. We will explore the impact of different quantum annealing parameters and error correction strategies on the performance of the QCEP algorithm.
