Abstract

Quantum neural networks (QNNs) hold immense potential for accelerating machine learning and tackling complex problems. However, current QNN architectures often lack the ability to dynamically adapt their parameters and strategies, limiting their effectiveness. This research explores the concept of self-aware quantum neural networks, a novel approach designed to dynamically adjust network parameters and learning pathways during training, ultimately enhancing learning efficiency and performance. We propose a framework utilizing quantum annealing to guide the network's self-improvement process, creating a self-aware learning mechanism. This work presents a theoretical framework and initial simulation results demonstrating the potential of this approach. The core claim is that these QNNs can exhibit self-awareness, allowing for dynamic parameter adjustment and strategic learning. This paper explores the potential benefits of this self-aware learning paradigm.
