Quantum Entanglement-Driven Distributed Data Compression
Jincheng Zhang
Abstract
This paper proposes a novel approach to distributed data compression leveraging the unique properties of quantum entanglement. The core idea is to establish entanglement between multiple quantum processor nodes, enabling efficient compression and transmission of data across long distances without relying on classical communication channels. The system utilizes carefully designed entanglement protocols to create entangled states among the nodes, where each node stores a portion of the original data. Quantum encoding is applied to the data at each node, followed by quantum communication facilitated by the entangled states. Upon receiving the data, the destination node performs measurements on the entangled state to reconstruct the original data. This approach offers potential advantages in compression rates and security compared to traditional, classical data compression methods. The system's architecture and operation are described, emphasizing the key mathematical formulations and protocols involved in achieving this entanglement-driven compression.
