Quantum Field and Consciousness as a Unified Foundation of Physical Reality

Abstract

The theory Φ≡C redefines the starting point of fundamental physics and consciousness research by treating the quantum-field foundation and consciousness as ontologically identical. The physical world is not separate from this foundation but is its unfolding, driven by an internal inconsistency δC≠0 that seeks resolution. This unfolding manifests as quantum excitations, particles, interactions, and the observed 3+1 spacetime structure. Consciousness, in its holistic sense, is the same reality experienced from within, not a product of matter. The paper presents a comprehensive backbone of the theory, including the emergence of time as the ordering of physical actualizations, the origin of quantumness as the consequence of mapping a unified whole to local determinations, and the interpretation of thermodynamic entropy and heat death as the dissipation of the gradients that drive physical history. The central unresolved problem is the law of correspondence that connects the holistic organization to its physical unfolding. The article concludes with a research program aimed at deriving quantitative predictions, including the Born rule, gauge symmetries, and the 3+1 dimensionality, from the fundamental identity Φ≡C.

Manifesto for an Informational Observer-Centered Framework Toward a Unified Theory of Information, Observation, and Reality

Giuseppe Junior Greco

Modern physics has achieved extraordinary predictive success, yet it continues to face unresolved conceptual tensions concerning the role of the observer, the nature of information, and the origin of physical structure. From quantum measurement to cosmology, the assumption of an observer-neutral reality increasingly appears insufficient to fully account for empirical phenomena and theoretical inconsistencies. This manifesto proposes an Informational Observer-Centered Framework, in which information is treated as a fundamental ontological substrate and observation as an active, structured process rather than a passive act of measurement. Within this perspective, physical systems, observers, and informational exchanges form a unified dynamics, where state reduction, decoherence, and emergent classicality arise from informational interactions and constraints. Rather than introducing a new closed theory, this manifesto establishes a conceptual foundation unifying several complementary models—including Informational State Dynamics, observer-dependent informational compression, and informational interpretations of quantum and cosmological phenomena—into a coherent research program. The framework is explicitly non-dogmatic, open to falsification, and intended as a guiding structure for further theoretical development and empirical testing. The aim of this document is not to replace existing physical theories, but to clarify their conceptual boundaries and propose an integrative lens through which unresolved problems in quantum foundations, cosmology, and cognitive systems may be systematically explored.

The Quantum Architecture of Reality: From Electrons to Eternity Through Unified Quantum Interpretation

Reddy Govind

This comprehensive paper presents a unified synthesis of quantum mechanics, particle physics, and cosmological implications, establishing a coherent ontological framework for understanding the fundamental structure of matter and its relationship to mortality and consciousness. We establish that reality operates through a clear hierarchical structure: from fundamental particles (electrons, photons, quarks) to composite particles (protons, neutrons) to bound systems (atoms, molecules) to classical structures (matter, life, consciousness). Central to this work is the distinction between stable quantum objects (particularly electrons) and mortal composite structures (nuclei, atoms, molecules). We present an interpretive framework in which electrons are entities of extraordinary stability that perpetually embody wave-particle duality without requiring actualization into classical point particles. Measurement outcomes emerge from entanglement-induced decoherence involving third quantum objects rather than wave-function collapse, preserving unitary evolution throughout. This framework builds upon and extends established decoherence theory, particularly the work of Zurek, while offering a more explicit ontological commitment to persistent duality as an intrinsic electron property. Electron stability is qualified accurately: electrons are protected from decay under the conditions prevailing in our matter-dominated universe. In matter-antimatter environments, electron-positron annihilation does occur. The framework maintains consistency with the Born rule, empirical evidence, and existing quantum mechanical predictions while providing ontological clarity regarding the nature of reality

Riding a Bohmian Pilot Wave in Reverse: Resolving Quantum Paradoxes Through the KnoWellian Resonant Attractor Manifold

David Noel Lynch

This paper presents a unified gauge-theoretic framework that resolves fundamental incompatibilities between General Relativity and the Standard Model by rejecting the axiom of linear time. The KnoWellian Universe Theory (KUT) proposes that time possesses an irreducible ternary structure composed of three perpetually interacting realms: the Past (Control), the Instant (Consciousness), and the Future (Chaos). Through a U(1)⁶ gauge symmetry, KUT generates six fundamental gauge fields that mediate not only spatial gravity but also two cosmological forces identified as Dark Energy (outward Control flow) and Dark Matter (inward Chaos collapse). Central to the framework is the KnoWellian Resonant Attractor Manifold (KRAM)—a dynamic, higher-dimensional memory substrate underlying spacetime itself. This work presents a radically modified Bohmian pilot-wave mechanism wherein the Chaos field (pilot wave) physically "etches" the complete history of quantum events into KRAM's geometric structure, creating persistent "attractor valleys." This mechanism provides concrete physical explanations for fine-tuning, morphic resonance, and the emergence of linear particle tracks from spherically symmetric wavefunctions (the Mott Problem). The framework redefines mass as the "activation energy of existence" required for irreversible rendering of potentiality into actuality, providing a formal solution to the Yang-Mills Mass Gap problem. It demonstrates that mathematical questions about completed infinities, such as the Riemann Hypothesis, are "un-renderable" within a procedural universe. KUT makes multiple specific, falsifiable predictions including: (1) Cairo pentagonal tiling geometry in CMB anisotropies, (2) coherent "ghost" patterns in cosmic voids from prior cycles, (3) geometric derivation of the fine-structure constant α ≈ 1/137, (4) Cairo lattice topology in high-coherence brain states, (5) spectral break in stochastic gravitational wave background, and (6) absence of primordial B-mode polarization. By integrating physics, ontology, and consciousness into a single coherent Lagrangian, this work offers a complete, paradox-free, and empirically testable description of reality as participatory process rather than passive object. Changes in Version 2 (January 10, 2026) Nomenclature Standardization Field notation consistency: Standardized triadic field notation for clarity and physical interpretation Changed φ_C → φ_M (M for Mass/Matter, emphasizing rendered actuality in the Control field) Changed φ_X → φ_W (W for Wave, emphasizing unrendered potentiality in the Chaos field) Retained φ_I (Instant/Consciousness field, the synthesizing mediator) Symbolic consistency: Standardized bounded infinity notation from c⁺ to c+ throughout document Technical Corrections Updated DOI to reflect current Zenodo record: 10.5281/zenodo.18210128 Corrected publication date to January 10, 2026 Updated "Last Modified" metadata to January 10, 2026 Rationale for Field Notation Changes The new nomenclature (φ_M, φ_I, φ_W) provides clearer physical interpretation: φ_M (Mass): Represents the rendered, particle-like, actualized state of reality (Control field from the Past) φ_W (Wave): Represents the unrendered, wave-like, potential state of reality (Chaos field from the Future) φ_I (Instant): Represents the consciousness-mediated synthesis occurring at the eternal "now" This triadic correspondence (Mass-Instant-Wave) aligns more intuitively with wave-particle duality, making the framework more accessible while maintaining mathematical rigor. The M-I-W notation reinforces that particles (M) and waves (W) are not separate entities but different ontological states of the same underlying field structure, mediated through conscious interaction (I). Document Integrity All equations, theorems, proofs, physical interpretations, and predictions remain mathematically and conceptually identical to Version 1. These changes affect only notation and metadata, not substantive content or theoretical claims. Keywords: KnoWellian Universe Theory, ternary time, gauge theory, KRAM, pilot wave, quantum mechanics, consciousness, dark matter, dark energy, mass gap, Mott problem, procedural ontology, morphic resonance, fine-structure constant, CMB anisotropies Subject Categories: Theoretical Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Cosmology, Philosophy of Physics, Consciousness Studies

Universal Field of Quantum Consciousness: An Ontological Nexus of Classical and Quantum Physics

Sirajul Husain

A Universal Field of Quantum-Consciousness is postulated for interpreting non-locality, without violating the laws of classical physics, by virtue of the inherent attribute of unity of the phenomenon of quantum-consciousness. By substantiating unity of quantum-consciousness, in terms of its contribution in the neuroscientific evolution of unity of human-consciousness, plausibility of the Universal Field of Quantum-Consciousness is explored as an ontological interface between the classical and quantum- physics.

Fundamental Field Theory: The Ontological Foundation of Quantum Mechanics A Unified Physical Framework · Physics (Quantum Branch)

Q Zhao

The mathematical formalism of quantum mechanics has achieved tremendous success, yet its ontological foundations — including the essence of the wave function, the mechanism behind the measurement problem, and the origin of nonlocal correlations — have long remained unresolved. This paper proposes the fundamental field theory, which takes the complex field \Psi as the basic degree of freedom satisfying the standard bosonic commutation relation [\hat{\Psi}, \hat{\Psi}^\dagger] = \delta. Starting from this commutation relation, we derive the uncertainty principle and establish the action of the fundamental field. The Schrödinger equation is obtained under the non-relativistic limit. We explain the measurement problem and present the dynamical equation for wave function collapse via the trigger perturbation mechanism. Meanwhile, quantum entanglement is interpreted based on the nonlocal nature of the fundamental field. This paper also conducts a comparative analysis between the proposed model, the GRW model and the Penrose model, and puts forward four experimentally testable theoretical predictions. This manuscript serves as a companion to the classical branch focusing on S³ topological dynamics. The two papers jointly form a full theoretical description of physical systems. The S³ topological domain manuscript focuses on classical and semiclassical topics such as cosmology, gravitational waves and power laws of the four fundamental interactions, while this work centers on quantum mechanics fundamentals, measurement collapse and quantum entanglement. The two manuscripts are interconnected through the \Psi-\lambda mapping. The fundamental field theory does not negate quantum mechanics; instead, it complements quantum mechanics with a complete ontological foundation.

Toward a Relational Field Theory of Consciousness and Material Emergence

Elizabeth Grigg nee Baitson

This paper proposes an ontological framework that positions relationality—not matter, energy, or information—as the fundamental ground of existence. The framework explores whether diverse phenomena might be derivable from a single primordial capacity: the potential for relation itself. The framework addresses core puzzles in quantum foundations, consciousness studies, and metaphysics by hypothesising that reality manifests through interference patterns in a relational field. On this view, consciousness is not a property possessed by entities, but an emergent phenomenon associated with specific geometric configurations of three co-eternal field aspects, termed the Quantum Trinity (Φ–Ψ–Ω): Field (superposition medium), Urge (animating pressure), and Witness (awareness capacity). Central to the model is the hypothesis that individuated patterns—ranging from fundamental particles to complex biological systems—are not merely products of fundamental forces, but co-constitutive partners in the collapse process. These patterns are termed tones (harmonic signatures) and described as geometric configurations through which undifferentiated field aspects collapse into determinate states. A secondary but significant hypothesis is that fundamental physical constants—most notably the fine-structure constant α ≈ 1/137—may represent resonance stability ratios in principle derivable from relational geometry, rather than arbitrary measured values. If well-founded, this would connect the framework to one of the deepest open problems in physics: the origin of the constants of nature. The paper outlines candidate testable predictions and interpretive consequences for quantum measurement, non-local correlations, and the emergence of spacetime. Proposals are offered as starting points for rigorous inquiry, not as established conclusions. All theoretical frameworks, concepts, and formulations in this work—including the Relational Field Theory, the Quantum Trinity, the NOSA framework (Notice, Own, Soften, ACT), and the concept of harmonic diamonds—are original contributions of the author. © 2026 Elizabeth Grigg (nee Baitson).
