Abstract

This Zenodo collection brings together three coordinated studies from the PAC–(\mu^8) research programme. The papers address three distinct but connected questions: [\text{What qualifies as a physical object?}] [\text{Under what dynamical conditions does a complex structure emerge on a real state space?}] [\text{Can an experimental certification framework transfer across physically different realizations of time-crystalline order?}] The collection is organized as a progression from philosophical reconstruction, through mathematical audit, to public-data and cross-platform empirical assessment. 1. PAC–OBJ–001 From Position to Certified Object: A Historical and Modal Reconstruction of Physical Objecthood This paper reconstructs the development of physical objecthood from geometrical position and the Newtonian material point to relativistic events and worldlines, field modes, spectral packets, experimental records, and certified object classes. Its central proposal is that physical objecthood should not be treated as a primitive visual or spatial fact. Instead, an object may be understood as a process-generated structure that remains identifiable through persistence, invariant relations, recordability, separability from background, and robustness under admissible perturbations and changes of protocol. The paper introduces the PAC distinction between: [\text{field existence},\qquad\text{mode existence},\qquad\text{certified object status}.] It does not claim that observation creates physical reality, nor that all objects are periodic resonances. Its narrower thesis is that public and scientifically warranted object reference depends on stable relations among dynamics, boundaries, records, reconstruction, and certification. 2. PAC–MAT–001 Complex Structure from Real Reversible Dynamics: A Domain, Kernel, Uniqueness, Irreducibility, Spectral-Support, and Positive-Energy Audit This paper provides a mathematical audit of the claim that an orthogonal complex structure can arise from real reversible dynamics. For a strongly continuous orthogonal one-parameter group on a real Hilbert space, the skew-adjoint generator (A) admits a polar decomposition on the closed dynamical support (\ker A)^\perp \overline{\operatorname{Ran}|A|},] of the form [A=J_A|A|,] where [J_A^*=-J_A,\qquadJ_A^2=-I,\qquad[J_A,|A|]=0.] The audit shows that: mere invertibility is insufficient; norm-preserving orthogonal dynamics are required; the complex structure is canonically selected only on the non-stationary dynamical support; the kernel of (A) does not acquire a preferred complex structure without additional choices; positive energy is not required for the mathematical existence of (J_A); a positive-energy and future-time convention selects the Schrödinger orientation and the positive Hamiltonian[H=\hbar|A|;] the positive operator[K=|A|^2]does not by itself determine phase orientation; irreducibility and a spectral gap are not required for existence, although they can matter for uniqueness under larger symmetry algebras and for perturbative stability. The paper therefore narrows the legitimate claim: the imaginary unit may represent the quarter-turn structure canonically associated with oriented real orthogonal dynamics on their dynamical support. It does not claim that this construction alone derives the Born rule, quantum measurement, relativistic quantum field theory, particle content, gauge groups, or the Standard Model. 3. PAC–DTC–002–R1M Cross-Platform Transfer Audit of Multi-Witness Certification in a Room-Temperature Prethermal Time Crystal This study examines whether the multi-witness certification architecture developed for a many-body-localized discrete time crystal on a superconducting quantum processor can be transferred literally to a physically different realization: a room-temperature prethermal discrete time crystal in a three-dimensional dipolar (^{13}\mathrm C) nuclear-spin ensemble in diamond. The literal transfer fails at the level of witness availability and physical mechanism. The original MBL-DTC protocol relies on observables such as processor echo, localization, programmable initial-state testing, and finite-size spin-glass order. These measurements do not transfer directly to a prethermal NMR ensemble governed by different stabilization and failure mechanisms. Under the frozen literal witness set, the direct evidence coverage is only [\kappa_{\mathrm{direct}}^{\mathrm{literal}}=25%,] or [\kappa_{\mathrm{augmented}}^{\mathrm{literal}}=37.5%] when partial literature-level evidence is included. The appropriate formal output is therefore [\mathsf{INDETERMINATE},] rather than PASS or FAIL. The study then identifies a more general transfer principle: [\boxed{\text{cross-platform certification should preserve evidence roles and failure logic,}\newline\text{not necessarily identical experimental observables.}}] For the prethermal time-crystal platform, relevant evidence roles include subharmonic locking, persistence, perturbation rigidity, interaction dependence, mechanism controls, separation from alternative phases, initial-state robustness, and collective order. Because this evidence-role map was constructed after inspection of the target experiment, the result is classified as a retrospective interface reconstruction rather than a prospective cross-platform validation. The current evidence level is therefore reported as [\mathrm{E2!-!META},] not E4. Unified Contribution Taken together, the three studies establish a disciplined sequence: [\boxed{\begin{aligned}\text{process and record}&\longrightarrow\text{qualified physical objecthood},\\text{real reversible dynamics}&\longrightarrow\text{complex phase structure on dynamical support},\\text{platform-specific observables}&\longrightarrow\text{common evidence roles and controlled certification}.\end{aligned}}] The collection develops PAC–(\mu^8) primarily as a framework for philosophical clarification, mathematical interface analysis, and auditable public-data research. It emphasizes explicit assumptions, domain restrictions, carrier separation, evidence coverage, negative results, and the formal possibility of an INDETERMINATE outcome. The collection does not claim that: PAC–(\mu^8) has been experimentally verified as a whole; the three papers constitute a completed unified physical theory; complex structure alone derives all of quantum mechanics; time-crystal experiments validate a universal value of (\mu_*); many-body localization and prethermalization are the same physical mechanism; all physical objects are resonances; public-data reconstruction is equivalent to performing a new experiment. No new physical experiment was conducted in these studies. The empirical component consists of independent secondary analysis and methodological comparison based on published experimental results and publicly described data products. The collection is intended to demonstrate a more modest but testable research standard: [\boxed{\text{a PAC claim should be accepted only after its assumptions, carrier, records,}\newline\text{evidence role, uncertainty, and failure conditions have been made explicit.}}] Suggested Keywords PAC–(\mu^8); physical objecthood; certified object; process ontology; complex structure; real Hilbert space; skew-adjoint generator; polar decomposition; imaginary unit; reversible dynamics; positive energy; discrete time crystal; prethermal time crystal; many-body localization; cross-platform certification; public-data research; evidence-role mapping; mathematical audit; philosophy of physics

Resonance Families, Certification, and ObjectFormation in the PAC–µ8 Framework

Chuanjie Dai

This paper develops a mid-level structural layer in the PAC–µ 8 framework by introducing resonance families as the primary certifiable units between spectral dynamics and object-level appearance. The central claim is that physically persistent and observationally identifiable structures are not most naturally modeled as isolated states, but rather as stable families of phase-organized, boundary-compatible, and protocol-certifiable modes. We formalize the basic PAC–µ 8 data as a quintuple P = (H, K, Πedge, µ, Q), where H is a state space, K is a positive spectral generator, Πedge is a boundary projector or boundary protocol, µ is an audit/compression scale, and Q is a class of admissible protocols. On this basis we define resonance seeds, resonance families, protocol records, certification functionals, objectification thresholds, and inter-family coupling kernels. We formulate theorem-level principles linking local spectral organization to family formation, family certification to event bundles and objecthood, measurement to family-sector stabilization, and large-scale geometry to the coupling graph on family space. The framework is then illustrated through sharpened worked realizations on quantum graphs and topological edge sectors, together with a broader discussion of non-Hermitian skin phenomena and quasicrystalline order. The resulting picture suggests that PAC–µ 8 is most coherently interpreted not as a universe of isolated objects, but as a universe of generated, filtered, coupled, and certified resonance families.

From Process to ObjectQuantum Packets, Event Structure, and ClassicalEmergencein the PAC–µ8 Framework

Chuanjie Dai

This paper presents an integrated PAC–µ 8 account of the passage from process-structured reality to the familiar world of classical objects. The central thesis is that objecthood is not primitive ontology. Rather, the world is first process-structured, quanta are then formed as minimal certifiable discrete spectral packets under finite protocols, particle-like mani festations arise as localized certified events, and classical objects emerge as audit-stable coarse-grained bundles of repeated events. Within this architecture, quantization is inter preted not as direct evidence that the world is fundamentally composed of tiny objects, but as protocol-induced discreteness of stable spectral structure. Wave behavior is interpreted as the generative form of a quantum packet, while particle behavior is interpreted as its localized event appearance. Measurement is reformulated as compression plus audit rather than as passive revelation of a pre-existing microscopic object with fully classical deter minate properties. Entanglement is interpreted as non-factorizable certified structure, and the cosmic noise floor is interpreted as residual uncertified spectrum complementary to the emergence of certifiable packets and persistent objecthood. The result is a unified PAC–µ 8 ontology in which the chain from world-process to object is articulated through boundary access, finite recording, compression, certification, persistence, and coarse graining

What Can Be Deduced from What We Already KnowA PAC–µ8 Synthesis of Human Mathematics, Quantumi–Structure, and Spectral–Audit Physics

Dai, Chuanjie

This paper addresses a meta–foundational question: if we take seriously everything we al ready know, in three distinct but converging forms, how far can we go in reconstructing the underlying structure of our universe? The three inputs are: (i) the existing human body of mathematics, physics, and experiments, including the Standard Model, general relativity, and precision tests; (ii) a clarified role for the imaginary unit i in quantum theory and quantum gravity, where i is understood as a rigid 90◦ rotation structure on a real Hilbert space that forces the standard complex formulation; and (iii) the PAC–µ 8 framework, which treats the universe as a spectral–causal–entropic (SCE) object built from positive self–adjoint generators K, their spectra, and finite audit protocols obeying causality and entropy constraints. We show, in a qualitative but systematic way, that if these three inputs are simultaneously valid, then several structural conclusions follow: (C1) There is a unified SCE ontology in which all physically relevant descriptions can be repre sented as (H, K ≥ 0, audit), with H = ℏ √ K. (C2) Complex Hilbert–space quantum mechanics with unitary evolution and the Born rule is not one of many possible choices, but the unique audit–compatible realization of the clarified i–structure under mild spectral and continuity assumptions. (C3) General relativity and cosmology can be reinterpreted as audit balance and stopping– entropy conditions: Einstein’s equation arises as a stationarity condition for an “audit action”, while the arrow of time is encoded in a monotonicity of stopping–entropy for coarse–grained audits. (C4) The Standard Model of particle physics can be viewed as a near–optimal spectral com pression of low–energy degrees of freedom, constrained by anomaly cancellation and com putational hardness; beyond–Standard–Model theories are subject to a stringent “no free lunch” condition. (C5) The seven Millennium Problems can be interpreted as seven boundary axes for what a finite intelligent agent can audit in topology, complexity, arithmetic spectra, gauge gaps, cohomology, fluid regularity, and arithmetic ranks, thereby shaping the “cognizable uni verse”. 1(C6) Computability, algorithmic complexity, and physical energy/entropy costs are tied together by a Landauer–PAC principle: what is computable, how fast, and at what thermodynamic price are governed by the same spectral–entropy inequalities. (C7) The combination of (C1)–(C6) singles out a thin class of Integrated Audit Universes in the PAC–µ 8 sense—universes that can support beings like us, doing the kind of mathematics and physics we are doing, without violating spectral, causal, or entropic constraints. We also outline observational windows—in gravitational waves, black hole ringdown, quan tum interferometry, and geometry–controlled coherence in materials—through which these struc tural conclusions could be tested. The paper is deliberately programmatic: no new mathematical theorems or detailed physical models are claimed; the contribution is a coherent synthesis of three mature inputs into a single SCE narrative and a list of derived structural commitments.

What Is PAC–µ8?An Operator–Spectral and Audit–Protocol Frameworkfor Physics, Arithmetic, and Verifiable Claims

Chuanjie Dai

PAC–µ 8 is a unified operator–spectral and audit–protocol framework designed to make physical and mathematical claims simultaneously (i) structurally minimal, (ii) modality-invariant, (iii) falsifiable through pre-registered numerical windows, and (iv) auditable via replayable, machine checkable certificates. Its core is an AV/AQ dual presentation: a positive self-adjoint generator K ≥ 0 with Ω = √ K and Hamiltonian H = ℏΩ, coupled to an explicit boundary interface represented by an edge projector Πedge(∆) and protocol-defined calibration maps. A distinguished universal scale µ∗ ≈ 1.86 × 10−4 (with visibility floor √µ∗ ≈ 1.36%) anchors a universal log– budget J∗ = − 1 2 ln µ∗ used as a common currency across heterogeneous experimental windows. On the AQ side, a generalized Lindblad family is adopted as the canonical “mother equation”, specialized by H = ℏ √ K and boundary-tied Lindblad operators scaled by µ∗. On the verification side, PAC–µ 8 introduces auditable certificate packs (CCP), conformance rules (CR), semantic tests (CTS), and decision transcripts that strictly separate closure failures (non-replayable / non-conformant) from physics-level falsification. This paper provides a concise, publication-ready definition of PAC–µ 8 , its axioms, its main equations, its phase–arithmetic spectral axis (PAS), and its certification discipline.

The Structure-Generation Layer of the PAC–μ⁸ Framework: From the Imaginary Unit to Quantum Dynamics, Gauge Fields, Spin, and Fundamental Interactions

Chuanjie Dai

This paper develops the structure-generation layer of the PAC–μ⁸ framework. Starting from finite-window certification, the imaginary unit is derived as the minimal phase-turn certificate required for reversible norm-preserving dynamics. The Schrödinger equation follows as the minimal certified phase-flow equation generated by spectral budget, while the Born rule is interpreted as boundary-certified record weight. Local phase comparability forces U(1)U(1)U(1) gauge transport and electromagnetic curvature. Double-cover orientation certification yields spin-12\frac1221, while chiral identity transport gives weak interaction and color-certificate closure gives strong interaction. Finally, gravity is formulated as record-comparison curvature, with the metric encoding the local cost of comparing certification records. In this way, quantum mechanics, gauge fields, spin, and the four fundamental interactions are organized as irreducible structures of certification, transport, closure, and record comparison.

Admissible Record Construction in Physically Non-Selective Quantum Regimes

Amos Maley

A Kernel-Role Determinacy Theorem for Record Fixation, Fixed-Domain Quotients, and Boundary-Trace Normal Form This paper specializes the AASC kernel to the construction and use of quantum measurement records. Its central question is not initially how outcomes are produced, whether a wavefunction collapses, or which interpretation of quantum theory is correct. It asks what must be fixed for a measurement record to function as the same determinate physical and evidential object across retention, prospective use, deliberation, comparison, and report. For any non-degenerate determinate physical object, state, carrier, transformation, record, comparison, or endpoint, the paper takes the governing kernel to be: NDObj(x) ⇒ K(x) = (Adm, Stand, Ref, Irr). Admissibility, standing, reference, and irreversibility are therefore treated as necessary role conditions of determinate record use, not as an optional interpretive overlay added to an otherwise complete physical description. Measurement-record determinacy The manuscript constructs a fixed-domain measurement-record target in which a record must preserve: reference to the same construction token; standing-bearing evidential eligibility; admissible reuse; original act-time qualification; lawful redescription; retained and prospective record use; deliberative and comparative use; reportability and downstream inheritance. The resulting assignment space is quotiented by equivalence of standing-bearing measurement-record content. A rival quotient claiming exactly the same content collapses to the canonical measurement-record quotient. Representational differences that preserve the complete role content are treated as skin; differences affecting record identity, evidential ordering, admissibility, continuation, or downstream use remain physically relevant. Physically non-selective quantum regimes The paper then studies a physically non-selective quantum regime containing unitary branching, entanglement, decoherence, branch-local records, and stable local reports. The central result is conditional and target-specific: The bare unitary-entangling-decohering package can support multiple stable branch-local records without supplying a unique standing evidential record for the fixed construction-relative target. This is not a claim that branch-local records are unreal, unstable, or physically useless. It is a distinction between: physical occurrence of branch-local record structures; local branch-relative reportability; evidential role fixation for a record reused as the same standing object across the measurement practice. The paper shows that non-selective structures may agree on branch weights, density content, decoherence, correlations, instrument sums, channel closure, effect weights, projector orthogonality, and repeatability without selecting one fine record as the standing evidential record. Fixed-domain quotient and fixation commutation The theorem ladder establishes: fixed-domain assignment-space forcing; exact quotient construction for standing-bearing record content; same-scope equivalence collapse; fixation commutation under admissible transformation; inheritance of the original qualification requirement; persistence-bearing reuse; asymmetry exhaustion; anti-weakening; selector exhaustion. If evidential ordering varies across admissible assignments while the target requires one fixed-domain ordering, the ordering is not defined on that scope merely because numerical values or branch-local reports happen to coincide. The paper therefore treats measurement-record fixation as prior to the theory-level evidential reuse that depends on it. Boundary-trace normal form After internal and provenance/indexical routes have been exhausted, the residual same-domain route is a singleton stable boundary trace. Such a trace is not collapse dynamics, hidden-variable selection, or a new physical mechanism. It is an admissibility-preserving role anchor that can fix a record-bearing assignment only when its channel, incidence, transport law, original authority, and singleton-positive condition are independently warranted. The result distinguishes: sound partial selection from complete role fixation; unique trace value from unique original occupant; class-valued record fixation from raw-token fixation; later discovery of an original qualification from retroactive repair; physical record occurrence from standing evidential identity. Finite quantum specialization The paper occupies the abstract structure with an explicit finite two-branch quantum measurement domain containing: two outcomes; two fine records and one merged record; denominator-two branch weights; a balanced integer-amplitude state; density-table realization; selective and non-selective instrument maps; environment-record maps; projective branch maps; complementary effects; zero-product projectors; repeatability operations. On the declared balanced witness, amplitude weights, density weights, branch-map traces, effect weights, pointer records, instrument records, environment records, and channel records agree on the same branch architecture. Selective surfaces preserve the fine-record distinction. Non-selective surfaces agree only on the merged record. The fine records therefore remain separated, while the declared non-selective surfaces supply no singleton fine-record selector. The finite selector-boundary theorem eliminates the disjunction of candidate hidden selectors across the state, instrument, environment, channel, effect, and repeatability surfaces. The resulting diagnosis is precise: the missing structure is admissible fine-record role fixation, not further branch production, weighting, decoherence, stabilization, or repeatability. Scope and non-claims The manuscript establishes a finite, conditional, manuscript-facing theorem. It does not claim: to derive Hilbert-space quantum mechanics; to derive general POVM theory; to derive full projection-valued-measure theory; to reconstruct the full operator algebra; to provide a general Kraus representation theorem; to reconstruct complete positivity; to derive the continuum Born rule; to derive universal physical decoherence theory; to introduce a new collapse dynamics; to prove that no physical collapse process occurs in nature; to prove physical branch selection; to establish interpretive truth; to classify every possible physical measurement mechanism. The absence of a hidden selector on the declared finite non-selective surfaces is therefore not a theorem that no physical collapse or selection process can occur elsewhere. It is the finite theorem that those declared surfaces do not themselves supply the required fine-record selector. Relation to quantum interpretations The result does not deny the practical success of quantum theory, decoherence, branch-relative reporting, instrumental updates, or decision-theoretic methods. A practice aimed only at prediction, branch-local reporting, or instrumental updating may be a different target from the construction-relative record use studied here. If a theory claims to underwrite retained, prospective, deliberative, and evidential reuse of the same record-bearing construction token, it must preserve the relevant kernel roles and admit a standing-bearing fixation regime. Bare Everettian dynamics, without additional dynamics, ontological privileging, or admissible restriction to one constructional class, supplies no fine-record selector on the declared target. A strategy that preserves non-selective physics while restricting admissible record-fixation assignments belongs to a restriction-to-one-constructional-class route. Instrumentalist and QBist strategies instead reduce or redirect the target explanatory burden. Role in the AASC programme This paper provides the record-fixation layer of the AASC Quantum Determinacy Pair. Its companion Bell-scope work addresses the compatibility and no-signaling side of quantum witness determinacy. Together, the pair treats quantum records and witnesses as kernel-governed standing structures rather than as automatically determinate physical occurrences. The paper’s principal contribution is to identify the first failure point in a physically non-selective measurement regime: The initial problem is not necessarily the production of branch-local outcomes. It is the admissible fixation of the record role through which outcomes are retained, reported, remembered, compared, and used as evidence. The public Lean 4 formalization is synchronized with the finite measurement-boundary release v0.9.1 and provides the finite artifact for the declared effect, projector, compatibility, closed-stack, boundary-certificate, and audit layers. The paper is deliberately programmatic: no new mathematical theorems or detailed physical models are claimed; the contribution is a coherent synthesis of three mature inputs into a single SCE narrative and a list of derived structural commitments.
