Abstract

Quantum computing holds immense promise for solving complex problems intractable for classical computers. However, realizing this potential hinges critically on efficient resource allocation. This paper addresses the optimization of resource allocation in quantum computing, specifically focusing on problems like quantum circuit design and qubit allocation. We propose a methodology leveraging optimization techniques, primarily linear and integer programming, to determine optimal resource configurations. The core claim is the development of an effective method for this type of optimization. The mechanism involves formulating the resource allocation problem as a mathematical optimization problem and utilizing established techniques to find the optimal solution. This research contributes to the burgeoning field by providing a structured approach to tackling the fundamental challenge of resource allocation, aiming for efficiency and optimality in quantum computational tasks. The primary objective is to present a framework for systematically addressing resource allocation, a critical factor in the successful deployment of quantum computing technologies.

Resource Allocation Based on Physical Models for Quantum Computing

Jincheng Zhang

Quantum computing holds immense potential for solving complex problems currently intractable for classical computers. However, realizing this potential necessitates efficient resource allocation within quantum computing systems. Traditional resource allocation approaches often lack a fundamental understanding of the physical constraints inherent in quantum computation, such as decoherence and the limitations of superposition. This paper explores a novel approach to quantum resource allocation that integrates physical models directly into the allocation strategy. We propose a framework where algorithms are designed to balance resource utilization with information fidelity, considering the underlying physics of quantum systems. The core claim is that utilizing physical models for resource allocation can optimize quantum computing performance and efficiency. This work introduces a mechanism based on quantum computing's physical properties – decoherence, superposition – to design resource allocation algorithms, aiming to achieve a better balance between resource utilization and information fidelity. We present a formalization of the resource allocation problem and outline a potential implementation strategy.

Quantum Resource Allocation Based on Quantum Demagnetization

Jincheng Zhang

This paper investigates a novel approach to optimizing quantum computing resource allocation, leveraging the inherent characteristics of quantum demagnetization (decoherence). Traditional quantum resource allocation methods often rely on heuristic rules or empirical observations, lacking a fundamental understanding of the resource consumption mechanisms within a quantum system. This work posits that decoherence, a primary source of error and resource depletion in quantum computation, can be explicitly modeled and utilized as a constraint within an optimization framework. We present a methodology for allocating quantum resources—specifically, qubit assignments and gate scheduling—based on a dynamic assessment of decoherence rates. The core concept involves formulating a mathematical model where decoherence is treated as a cost function, and employing optimization algorithms to minimize this cost while satisfying computational requirements. The proposed method offers a potentially more efficient and targeted approach to resource allocation, leading to improvements in quantum computation efficiency and potentially mitigating the detrimental effects of decoherence. The results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of this approach in theoretical scenarios.
