Abstract

This paper explores the application of Quantum Монхоуф Transform (QMT) for image processing, specifically focusing on lossless compression and manipulation. Traditional image processing techniques often introduce information loss, leading to degradation in image quality. We propose utilizing the QMT, a quantum mechanical analogue of the Монхоуф Transform, to achieve lossless image processing. The core concept involves encoding image data into the basis vectors of the QMT and subsequently leveraging the QMT's inherent properties for image transformation. This approach draws upon both quantum information theory and the principles of the Монхоуф Transform, offering a novel pathway for efficient and lossless image handling. The theoretical framework and potential advantages of this method are presented, outlining a promising direction for future research in quantum image processing. The key mathematical framework is built upon the concept of quantum superposition and measurement, central to the QMT. The primary goal is to demonstrate a method for lossless image manipulation without the inherent distortions of conventional approaches.

Quantum Coherence-Based Information Compression Algorithm

Jincheng Zhang

This paper proposes a novel information compression algorithm leveraging quantum coherence as a fundamental resource. The core idea is to exploit the inherent properties of quantum systems – specifically quantum entanglement and superposition – to achieve compression efficiency exceeding that of classical methods. We introduce a framework wherein the degree of quantum coherence is directly correlated with the amount of information that can be reliably represented and subsequently compressed. The algorithm utilizes a series of quantum operations designed to manipulate and reduce the quantum state's coherence, effectively diminishing the information content while preserving the essential characteristics of the original data. We present a theoretical analysis demonstrating the potential for significant compression ratios and discuss the challenges and future directions of this approach. The primary focus is on establishing a quantifiable relationship between coherence and information density, a crucial step toward practical quantum information compression. We explore the mathematical foundations of this process, utilizing concepts from quantum information theory, and propose a preliminary algorithm outline.
