Self-Fibre: A Finite Quantum Reconstruction Model with Discrete Reconstruction Obstructions

Abstract

Preprint; submitted to Journal of Mathematical Physics. We introduce Self-Fibre, a finite-dimensional mathematical framework in which relational structures between local quantum systems (“fibres”) are not postulated but selected from local fibre data through a variational reconstruction principle. Given a finite collection of local Hilbert-space fibre states, we define a reconstruction functional over candidate relational graphs balancing informational compatibility, pairwise reconstruction consistency, and structural complexity. We prove that this functional attains a minimum on the finite candidate space, and that the minimizer is unique under a reconstruction-gap condition. For finite systems of pure qubit fibres, we explicitly construct induced fibre comparison maps. For every reconstructible pair of fibre states, these maps are the unique minimal Hilbert–Schmidt-distance unitaries consistent with the pair. We further prove that the associated closedcycle holonomy satisfies an exact discrete identity expressing the global reconstruction obstruction as a sum of local composition defects transported around the cycle. This obstruction quantifies the failure of pairwise-consistent local reconstructions to form a globally consistent comparison structure. All results are established within the finite pure-qubit setting. We do not assume or derive a spacetime manifold, metric structure, or continuum limit. The reconstruction obstruction is proposed only as a candidate discrete precursor to geometric curvature, with any continuum correspondence left as an open problem.

Reconstruction Physics: A Mathematical Framework for Green Functions, Hilbert Spaces, Gauge Transport, and Emergent Geometry

Borros Arneth

Modern theoretical physics is formulated using several highly successful but conceptually distinct mathematical structures. Quantum mechanics is based on Hilbert spaces and linear operators, quantum field theory is formulated through Green functions and propagators, gauge theories rely on fiber bundles and holonomy, while general relativity describes gravitation through differential geometry. Although these mathematical frameworks are deeply interconnected, they are traditionally introduced as independent axiomatic constructions. In this work, we propose a unified mathematical reconstruction framework in which Green functions, Hilbert spaces, gauge transport, and effective geometry emerge from a single primitive transport architecture. The fundamental object is neither a wavefunction nor a spacetime manifold, but an operator-valued reconstruction architecture consisting of directed transport graphs, interaction vertices, closure relations, and recursive consistency maps. Green operators arise naturally as inverse transport operators, Hilbert spaces appear as completions of admissible architectural amplitudes, gauge fields emerge from holonomy of closed transport loops, and effective geometry is reconstructed as the continuum limit of transport consistency. A central Reconstruction Theorem is formulated, establishing that every admissible reconstruction architecture induces Green operators, Hilbert reconstruction spaces, holonomy observables, effective gauge connections, and continuum geometry. As an application, a discrete set of architectural quantum numbers (a,b,c,d) is introduced to characterize propagation, interaction, topology, and recursion. A phenomenological mass reconstruction formula is subsequently derived as an application rather than a fundamental assumption. The proposed framework does not replace established physical theories. Instead, it offers a common mathematical origin from which several of their fundamental structures arise naturally. The work therefore represents a structural reformulation of theoretical physics based on operator-valued transport architectures.

A Discrete Information-Theoretic Model of Physics on a Space-Cell Substrate: Local Update Dynamics, Event-Based Time, Continuum Limits, and Candidate Geometric Realizations

David Reardon

Abstract This paper develops a discrete information-theoretic framework in which physical systems are modeled on a graph or lattice of locally interacting space cells. Its principal contribution is an integrated architecture separating exact consequences of locality and unitarity, continuum-limit derivations, model-family results, toy-model mechanisms, and unresolved physical mappings. Matter-like identity is treated as propagated relational information rather than persistence of the same occupied cells, and candidate mechanisms are audited for causal locality, conservation or ledger closure, and false reconstruction. The quantum branch assumes finite-dimensional local Hilbert spaces and local unitary or completely positive trace-preserving (CPTP) updates. Under those assumptions, norm preservation, finite causal cones, and reduced-state no-signaling follow directly; spinor quantum walks admit a Dirac-like long-wavelength limit and a secondary nonrelativistic Schrödinger envelope. A representative reciprocal q–χ lattice action shows how compact local dynamics can support continuity, spectral response, action-derived scattering, and internal symmetry/charge, while later extensions supply a provisional local gauge/Gauss/holonomy structure. Two geometric realizations remain deliberately distinct: distortable cells and scalar extrinsic-χ compression. Toy models provide mechanism and failure-boundary evidence for relational identity, reconstruction, scattering, photon-like bookkeeping, and topology/charge-current response. The framework does not derive the Standard Model, quantum field theory, or general relativity; it defines a falsifiable program for testing whether compact local information-processing laws can recover required low-energy structures without hidden nonlocal repair or post-hoc tuning.

Relational-Perspectival Quantum Reconstruction

Minglai Man

Quantum-reconstruction programmes normally begin after several structures have already stabilised: a system type, a tensor-product composition rule, an operational perspective, and a reference-frame regime. Quantum-reference-frame (QRF) research, by contrast, shows that precisely these structures may depend on physical perspective. We develop Relational-Perspectival Quantum Reconstruction (RPQR), an operational architecture that places perspective formation and subsystem composition upstream of a fixed-perspective quantum-reconstruction core. The primitive data are complete candidate situations, physically implementable protocols, outcome statistics, sequential composition, and admissible multi-fragment gluing. An informational perspective is the quotient induced by the protocols available in that perspective. We prove a quotient-factorisation theorem defining an information order, then separate information perspectives from stronger process perspectives carrying actual statistics-preserving simulator functors. Coherent simulator data yield an indexed operational theory and hence a fibration. Composition is not assumed primitive: a perspective-local tensor product is introduced only when admissible multi-input gluing is representable; preservation of the corresponding universal gluing is the criterion for strong monoidality of a perspective change. Finite reference, clock and control resources are compared only after transport to a common operational comparison theory, allowing ideal backgrounds to be represented as context-stable completion limits. A fixed, resource-stable, representable sector then conservatively recovers the operational signature required by a companion fixed-perspective reconstruction, without deriving its independent quantum-selection principles. The architecture is shown to be nontrivial by an explicit three-qubit Z2 QRF realisation based on the extra-particle framework. Two invariant global states are identical in a naive Alice-relative description but orthogonal in Bob’s relative description. The missing information is identified with the central charge algebra C ⊕ C, providing a finite transition-remainder witness. The chargeaware QRF transformation induces, after an explicit operational-saturation model specification, a typed equivalence of whole process fibres. Each perspective contains a preferred representable compositional sector, while the preferred subsystem decomposition is perspective dependent. The QRF is an exact finite-resource witness, and fixing a charge sector yields an ordinary 𝑀4 (C) quantum subsector in which the fixed-perspective reconstruction signature is recovered. Thus RPQR possesses an explicit finite nontrivial model realising the full T1–T5 architecture. We also state falsifiability diagnostics and delimit the claims: no universal information-to-process lifting theorem, no universal cross-perspective tensor covariance, and no new quantum dynamics are assumed.

Finite Closure as the Unified Primitive: Emergence of Quantum Mechanics, Discrete Gravity, and Relativistic Structure (Paper 3)

Joe Bloggs

Finite Closure as the Unified Primitive: Emergence of Quantum Mechanics, Discrete Gravity, and Relativistic Structure (Paper 3) Abstract This paper completes the structural programme initiated in Reality is What Misspoken Language Cannot Deliver (Rev18) by deriving quantum mechanics, discrete gravity, and relativistic structure from a single finite reversible closure substrate. The previous Rev18 paper established the geometric scaffolding; finite distinguishable states under entropy bounds, closure algebra as primitive, holonomy defect curvature and Regge type discrete gravity converging conditionally to the Einstein / Hilbert action. The present work supplies the representation scaffolding. From finite reversible closure and amplitude additivity, we show that a linear state container is forced. Invariant comparability uniquely selects an inner-product structure. Local tomography selects the complex field, excluding real and quaternionic fundamental scalars under standard composition. The Born rule arises as the unique non-contextual additive measure on projectors consistent with unitary invariance. Tensor composition yields entanglement and operator norm geometry enforces the Tsirelson bound, excluding PR-box correlations within the closure derived Hilbert structure. On the geometric side, closure defects embed into weighted Regge curvature via holonomy-conjugacy classes. Under standard refinement conditions (bounded curvature, non-degenerate simplices) the Regge action converges to the Einstein / Hilbert action. Local Minkowski structure appears as the vanishing-curvature tangent limit. Closure is taken as more primitive than both unitary and “Lorentzian, these are representation languages for different compressions of the same finite reversible substrate. No dual ontology is introduced. Introduction Modern physics employs two highly successful but linguistically separated frameworks; quantum Hilbert structure and Lorentzian spacetime geometry. Their mathematical forms are well established, yet their joint ontological status remains debated. In Reality is What Misspoken Language Cannot Deliver (Rev18). Reality is What Misspoken Language a closure-first ontology was developed in which;- Bounded entropy per bounded region excludes primitive continuum; Finite distinguishable regional states form the primitive substrate; Deterministic, composable, reversible updates form a closure group; Closure defects correspond to holonomy elements; Weighted hinge sums reproduce Regge discrete curvature and Under refinement assumptions, the discrete action converges to Einstein / Hilbert. The prior Rev18 paper therefore provided the geometric scaffolding; discrete gravity from finite closure. The present paper extends that scaffolding upward into the quantum representation layer. It asks: If finite reversible closure is primitive, what state representation is forced when coherent overlap is admitted? The answer is not assumed but derived;- Amplitude additivity forces linear structure; Invariant comparability forces inner product geometry; Local tomography selects the complex field; Non-contextual additive projector measures yield the Born rule; Tensor composition yields entanglement and Operator-norm structure enforces Tsirelson rigidity. Thus the same primitive closure substrate underwrites: Finite reversible closure;- Complex Hilbert representation Born rule Tsirelson bound Weighted Regge curvature Einstein / Hilbert limit Local special relativity Unitary and Lorentzian structures emerge as representation languages of the same finite closure primitive.

Finite Observation and Inter-Perspectival Objectivity: An Inverse-Limit Framework for Compatible Physical Descriptions

Achyut Rateria

Abstract This paper develops an observer-centric framework for analyzing how common physical structure may be reconstructed from finite observational perspectives. The starting point is operational rather than metaphysical: every physically situated observer or measuring apparatus has bounded discrimination, finite retention, limited temporal resolution, and finite capacity to register distinctions. Each observational regime is represented by a state space 𝑋𝑖, with deterministic reductions represented by bonding maps. More general stochastic and quantum reductions are treated as compatible map extensions rather than as ordinary set-valued inverse systems. The central claim is methodological. Inter-perspectival objectivity is formulated relative to an observational network through three distinct questions: does a compatible reconstruction exist, is it unique (up to a stated equivalence), and which properties remain invariant across all admissible reconstructions? The paper distinguishes local feasibility, overlap compatibility, and global reconstructibility, and introduces obstruction certificates for localizing compatibility failure. A classical phase space example establishes the kinematic architecture, while a worked Peres Mermin contextuality application provides a nontrivial foundational benchmark. There the appropriate mathematical object is a limit of an overlap diagram: each context is locally consistent, but the complete family has no compatible global section. The manuscript compares this reconstruction perspective with ordinary coarse graining, relational descriptions, and sheaf-theoretic contextuality, and states explicit limitations and criteria for future empirical or explanatory success.

A Categorical Algorithmic Ontology A Self‑Consistent Framework for Quantum Physics, the Observer, and the Emergence of Structure

El Bouazzaoui TAYB

We present a rigorously formulated, internally self‑consistent foundational framework for physics based on a minimal algorithmic substrate and the mathematics of category theory and presheaf topoi. The construction begins with a universal prefix Turing machine and the algorithmic probability distribution as the sole primitive, from which arithmetic, discrete topology, and gauge symmetries emerge as the most compressible relational structures. Quantum mechanics is not postulated but derived: the non‑Boolean, contextual nature of physical propositions is captured by the Isham–Butterfield presheaf topos SetsV(H)opSetsV(H)op, whose internal logic is intuitionistic and whose spectral presheaf resolves the Kochen–Specker obstruction. Within this setting, we propose an Algorithmic Information Bound that provides a novel, computational explanation for the Yang–Mills mass gap: a strictly positive lower bound on the algorithmic complexity per lattice site forces a finite correlation length, guaranteeing a non‑zero mass gap. The observer is formalised as an Independent Ontological Simulation Algorithm (IOSA)—a finite, algorithmic subsystem that executes decoherence and context selection, reducing the global intuitionistic logic to a classical Boolean description. We embed the entire ontology in a symmetric monoidal category, exhibiting a precise Rosetta Stone mapping between physics, computation, and logic. Crucially, the framework explicitly acknowledges its own limits via Gödel and Turing, thereby avoiding the paradoxes of absolute self‑description. The resulting theory is internally contradiction‑free, mathematically explicit, and generates falsifiable predictions for lattice gauge simulations, cosmological initial conditions, and quantum‑contextual experiments.
