We demonstrate that the fundamental equations of Planck, Einstein, de Broglie, Schrödinger, Hamilton ,Fermat, Heisenberg each contain phase as an implicit variable — present but not declared. The formula τ = ℏ/E, introduced in Phase Dynamics, makes phase explicit: τ is the time required for one radian of phase to accumulate at energy E. This single relation unifies the Planck quantum E = hν, the Einstein rest energy E = mc², and the de Broglie relation λ = h/p into one language. We show that: (i) the Schrödinger equation follows from the phase closure condition ∮p·dr = h on the spherical χ-cell; (ii) spin ½ and g = 2 follow from the topology of the sphere π₁(SO(3)) = ℤ₂; (iii) the fine-structure constant α = Eel/Eχ follows from the ratio of electromagnetic to phase attractor energy. The attractor Eχ = 1.41983487 MeV was discovered numerically — not postulated — as the fixed point of the deuteron phase model after 72 hours of continuous computation. All results are numerically verified against CODATA. The central claim: "Not explicit" does not mean "absent." Phase was always there. We now have the language to compute it.

Schrödinger's equation is the foundation of quantum mechanics. But it doesn't explain where phase comes from, why it can be synchronized, or what "time" is in a quantum system. The paper shows that the Schrödinger equation is a special case of chronal dynamics, where τ = ħ/E — the duration of 1 radian of phase — is considered constant. If we abandon this assumption and introduce the scalar field τ(x, t), we get a generalized equation from which we follow: Attractor E_χ = 1.41983487 MeV is the first eigenvalue of the chronal operator ("God's number") Fine-structure constant α = 1/137.036 as the ratio E_el/E_χ Electron mass m_e = (E_χ – 0.42)/2 Hierarchy of leptons through scaling χ = φ·τ Synchronization condition cos φ = 1, K = 0.316, Δω/ω = 0.2 Keywords: Schrödinger equation, chronal dynamics, τ = ħ/E, χ = φ·τ, attractor, God number.
We show that the Schrödinger equation, electron spin, and the anomalous g-factor are not independent postulates but necessary consequences of a single geometric principle: phase closure on the spherical vacuum cell (χ-cell). The χ-cell, with radius s = ℏc/E, is the fundamental unit of phase dynamics. We prove that: (i) the de Broglie wavelength closes exactly once on the Bohr orbit, reproducing the Schrödinger eigenvalue equation without postulation; (ii) the sphere S² admits exactly two homotopy classes of closed paths — π₁(SO(3)) = ℤ₂ — which are identified with bosons (period 2π) and fermions (period 4π); (iii) the Dirac g-factor g = 2 follows as the ratio of these two periods, 4π/2π = 2, without γ-matrix algebra; (iv) the Schwinger correction α/2π is the precession of the χ-cell per cycle. All results are numerically verified against CODATA values. No free parameters are used.

Re-examination of the work of Max Karl Planck has revealed hidden variables in his famous quantum work, consistent with Einstein's famous sentiment that quantum mechanics is incomplete due to the existence of "hidden variables". The recent discovery of these previously hidden variables, which have been missing from the foundational equations of quantum theory for more than one hundred years, has important implications for all the sciences as well as for understanding the interactions of electromagnetic radiation with matter. Planck's quantum formula, E = hν, is missing the variable for measurement time. Planck had included the missing time variable in his earlier electromagnetic work, but omitted it in his famous work that sparked the quantum revolution. Restoration of measurement time to Planck's quantum formula produces the more complete, E = h~ ν t. The numerical value Planck calculated for his action constant "h" takes on new meaning as an energy constant "h~" for light. Planck's energy constant is the mean energy of a single oscillation of light, namely 6.626 X 10-34 J/oscillation. The mean oscillation energy of light is constant, and does not vary with frequency or wavelength. The photon, as historically defined, is a time dependent packet of energy, based on the arbitrary measurement time of one second. An arbitrary, one second increment of energy cannot be a truly indivisible and elementary particle of nature. Omission of the time variable from Planck's quantum formula contributed to numerous paradoxes in quantum mechanics, such as uncertainty relating to formulations involving time, wave-particle duality, the need for normalization of wave functions, lack of dimensions for the fine structure constant, and irreconcilability of quantum mechanics and general relativity (Einstein's gravitational theory). Many of these paradoxes are simplified or eliminated altogether with a re-interpretation of quantum mechanics with Planck's hidden time variable and energy constant.
This preprint develops a refined TDF-QM formulation within the Time Delay Field (TDF) framework, focusing on the interpretation of quantum phase as a temporal-phase rotation. The central proposal is that the TDF quantum variable (N_t) should be interpreted not as the phase angle itself, but as the local angular rate of temporal-phase rotation, (N_t=\dot{\theta}\tau). Under this definition, the quantum phase becomes (\theta\tau=\int N_t dt), while the standard quantum relation (E=\hbar \omega) is reinterpreted as (E=\hbar N_t). The paper examines how this definition aligns with core structures of nonrelativistic quantum mechanics, including the wavefunction (\psi=\sqrt{\rho}e^{-i\theta_\tau}), Schrödinger phase evolution, de Broglie momentum, interference, decoherence, uncertainty relations, rest mass as internal phase rotation, and entanglement as temporal-phase locking. In this formulation, Planck’s constant is interpreted as the conversion factor between temporal-phase rotation and physical action/energy, with (h=E_qt_q) representing the action associated with one complete fundamental time-phase cycle. The work is intended as a conceptual and mathematical bridge between the broader TDF program and effective quantum mechanics. It does not claim a complete derivation of the Standard Model, spin, charge, or quantum field theory, but identifies which standard QM relations are structurally compatible with the TDF time-phase-rate interpretation and which areas require further development. This work builds on the TDF framework and references the related Zenodo record: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.20633775.
We show that quantum mechanics — the Planck relation E = ħω, the de Broglie relation p = ħk, the Schrödinger equation, and the Born rule — are all consequences of a single equation: Cα^x c² = ħω, where x is the Trit winding number that determines particle mass through the formula m = Cα^x. The compact coordinate ϕ of every massive particle rotates at the Compton frequency ω = mc²/ħ, and the quantum mechanical wave function is the complex exponential of this phase: Ψ = e^{iϕ}. The electromagnetic wave is identified as the propagating zero-state of the Trit antisymmetric sector, carrying the photon phase ϕ_γ as its compact U(1) coordinate on S¹ ⊂ (S²)³. Phase conservation at the electromagnetic vertex, ϕ_γ = ϕ_{e,initial} − ϕ_{e,final}, is Maxwell's coupling derived from Trit geometry. Quantum randomness arises because the initial compact coordinate ϕ₀ is inaccessible at current energy scales (M_{LQ} = 1200 GeV); the Born rule is the marginal distribution obtained by averaging over ϕ₀. Quantum mechanics is not a fundamental theory: it is the ϕ₀-averaged dynamics of the Trit compact phase.
