Layer Before Law: An Addressed Architecture for Relational Admissibility, Effective Law Selection, and Quantum-Gravitational Recovery

Abstract

Quantum theory and general relativity are extraordinarily successful within their demonstrated domains, yet their standard formalisms are not straightforwardly unified. Layer Before Law asks whether part of that difficulty may arise one conceptual step earlier: before selecting the physical law that governs a state, has the relevant object, context, admissibility structure, and scale been typed correctly? Within the McLaughlin-Kairos Unified Field Theory (MKUFT) research programme, the proposal is an addressed architecture rather than a completed theory of quantum gravity. A complete effective state carries substrate participation, informational and relational structure, physical expression, observer-positioned registration, contextual address, and retained load-bearing history. A compatibility map constructs an admissibility descriptor; a law assembler then constructs the active physical-law object. Physical propagation, measurement or registration, and readdressing of the next effective possibility object follow. The paper adds a property-relative law-ownership gate and bidirectional scale readdressing, separates higher-law failure from constitutive closure and recoverability, applies the framework to entanglement as a worked constraint case, states explicit Bell/local-hidden-variable and no-signalling requirements, and defines recovery obligations for quantum and gravitational regimes. It does not derive the Born rule, Bell correlations, quantum field theory, Einstein dynamics, or a fundamental quantum-gravity theory. Its contribution is a typed, falsifiable research architecture for testing whether relational and contextual structure performs independent work beyond the strongest adequate physical-state, history, and boundary description.

MKUFT — A Relational Architecture for Physical Law and Cross-Scale Dynamics

Mark Charles McLaughlin

MKUFT is an evolving research programme for analysing how possibility, relational constraint, physical dynamics, measurement, history, and scale-specific description fit together. This publication presents the current principal MKUFT architecture: a typed S–I–P–O framework in which addressed state and context determine admissibility, an active physical-law object is assembled, physical propagation and measurement produce outcomes, and the realised path readdresses the next effective possibility space. The framework distinguishes functional identity, constitutive closure, law sufficiency, capability, cost, and recoverability across scale, with explicit strongest-fair-null, deformation, falsification, Bell/no-signalling, quantum-recovery, gravitational-recovery, and energy-accounting requirements. It is not presented as a completed unified field theory or accepted physics, but as a pressure-testable relational architecture with explicit boundaries between established results, research scaffolds, and unresolved foundational claims.

Paper 41 — Generative Law: Quantum Entanglement as Minimal Law Engineering

Mortaza Zabihi

Quantum entanglement is traditionally presented as a paradoxical feature of microscopic reality, often associated with non-locality, state collapse, or information transfer without mediation. This paper adopts a different position. It treats entanglement not as a physical anomaly, but as a reproducible and engineerable mechanism arising from collective admissibility constraints. Within the Generative Law framework, entanglement is reinterpreted as the construction of a shared law-domain that binds multiple entities to a single admissibility structure. Commitment occurs at the configuration level rather than at the level of individual entities, producing correlated records without invoking signaling, hidden variables, or ontological superposition. The paper develops entanglement as the simplest experimentally accessible instance of law engineering. It analyzes how experimental conditions instantiate restricted law-domains, how isolation and boundary enforcement enable collective commitment, and why scalability is limited by law leakage rather than by particle count. By reframing entanglement as a law-level mechanism rather than a state-level property, this work positions it as a foundational tool for studying admissibility formation. Entanglement thus becomes not a resolved paradox, but a prototype for generative architectures that govern commitment in complex systems. This article is part of a broader theoretical program investigating the emergence of spacetime, geometry, and physical structure from the ψ–Θ–χ continuum. Phase Relational Field Framework: Observer–Observed Non-Separability, Reaction Surfaces, and the Unsigned OSPLD

Matthew Alexander Firtl

The Phase Relational Field Framework (PRFF) presents a unified process ontology intended to connect quantum measurement, gravitational source accounting, and cosmological response as scale-dependent manifestations of a single, continuously maintained process. It does not replace the predictive formalisms of quantum mechanics or general relativity. In a checked constitutive specialization, the interaction-supporting carrier is represented as a continuous, lossless distributed LC medium with phase speed 1/√(L₀C₀) and characteristic phase impedance Z₀ = √(L₀/C₀). The familiar value Z₀ ≈ 377 Ω follows only when L₀ and C₀ are identified with the measured electromagnetic-vacuum response; Z₀ alone does not constitute an absolute load or capacity bound. The central ontological proposition is that a localized entity is maintained through a reaction surface and that the same maintaining process continues beyond its localization boundary as an Omnidirectional Spherical Process-Load Domain (OSPLD). Its Gauss-surface process-load invariant is unsigned and additive. Microscopic quantum interactions may return signed, phase-, polarity-, and orientation-sensitive relational projections, whereas gravitational source accounting retains the unsigned cumulative magnitude. The signed-interaction/unsigned-gravity distinction therefore describes two coupling channels of one continuous process rather than separate quantum and gravitational substrates. The dynamical carrier-to-metric map remains to be derived; Einsteinian curvature, geodesics, and geodesic deviation are retained as macroscopic representation targets. The framework identifies three linked research programmes: Quantum Statistics and Entanglement: PRFF proposes that topological repartition does not erase the relational phase organization of the parent process. Bell-type correlations may consequently arise from contextual, spatial-geometric sampling of an extended joint OSPLD rather than from action at a distance. A complete realization must derive a non-factorizable joint-response kernel and recover the Born rule, singlet correlations, the maximal CHSH value, and no-signalling under a setting-independent sampling measure. Horizon Dynamics and Coalescence: Event horizons are treated as candidate null reaction-surface limits at which local admission, phase relation, and carrier loading become extremal. Bilateral impedance matching and the condition ΓH = 0 provide a conditional, mode-resolved description of reflectionless horizon coupling, while the symmetric Z₀/2 + Z₀/2 partition remains a constitutive ansatz. Binary coalescence is interpreted as a reciprocal phase-commutation transition between complete OSPLDs. The resulting carrier-stress transient is proposed as the source-level process whose transverse-traceless projection is represented macroscopically by the + and × gravitational-wave polarizations. Cosmological Background and the Hubble Tension: Under an Olbers-type shell accumulation model, an unsigned common-mode matter contribution may diverge with increasing sampling radius unless a separate nonlinear carrier-saturation law intervenes. Its large-scale asymptote could be represented gravitationally as an effective cosmological term rather than as a fundamental local repulsive force. Because cosmic dilution changes the cumulative load distribution, the associated saturation radius and effective cosmological response may drift with the scale factor. This supplies a concrete ontological mechanism to investigate as a possible contribution to the Hubble tension, rather than claiming its resolution in advance. By separating derived relations, constitutive interpretations, working hypotheses, and theorem targets, PRFF establishes an explicit and falsifiable research architecture. Its principal open requirements are the derivation of a covariant carrier and boundary action, the carrier-to-metric map, the nonlinear saturation law, the joint quantum-response kernel, and quantitative confrontation with gravitational-wave and cosmological observations.

Priority of Law: A Computational Ontology of Partial-Order Time, Objective Chance, and Contextual Global Consistency

Matt Prager

Bell's theorem constrains realist completions of quantum theory by excluding local hidden-variable factorizations consistent with standard locality assumptions.[1] Contextuality theorems further restrict noncontextual value assignments,[2] while ψ-ontology constraints limit strongly ψ-epistemic readings of the quantum state.[3] This paper proposes a laws-first ontology ("Priority of Law") in which a finite ruleset is ontologically primary and the realized world is a single execution trace generated from an initial seed . Time is identified with the partial order induced by rule-dependency relations rather than a presupposed global time parameter. Observers are modeled as finite information interfaces ("Gödel Boxes"). Quantum superposition is treated as interface-level under-resolution of an objectively probabilistic modal structure: probabilities are objective weights over admissible continuations determined by given an executed prefix, while an observer's numerical assignments are estimates constrained by limited access. The quantum state is taken to track an upstream constraint configuration (ψ-ontic at the execution layer), while epistemic limitations are localized to the Gödel Box, aligning with ψ-ontology constraints.[3] Entanglement is modeled as shared upstream constraint-addressing maintained by a contextual global consistency mechanism ("Logger"), intended to reproduce Bell-inequality violations while preserving operational no-signaling through structural constraints on update mechanisms and without assuming noncontextual predetermined values.[1][2] The framework's main empirical commitment is the Finite Logger hypothesis: global consistency maintenance has finite effective capacity, implying a complexity-dependent coherence ceiling. We define complexity invariantly as the minimized physical resource cost within an allowed control set; in circuit-based platforms, compiled gate depth serves as a practical operational upper bound. The saturation regime is modeled phenomenologically as an effective completely positive trace-preserving (CPTP) channel whose strength depends on this complexity measure. The paper provides a worked CHSH example that illustrates the minimal operational requirements (Bell violation, contextuality, and no-signaling) without claiming a complete microphysical dynamics or derivation of the Born rule.

Paper 44 — Generative Law: Quantum Contextuality as Law Routing

Mortaza Zabihi

Quantum contextuality is traditionally presented as a no-go result: the impossibility of assigning pre-existing values to observables independently of measurement context. While formally correct, this interpretation misidentifies the architectural level at which the phenomenon occurs. It treats contextuality as a failure of value realism rather than as a constraint on admissibility. This paper reframes contextuality as law routing. Within the Generative Law framework, outcomes do not depend on hidden values but on which law-domain is activated at the moment of commitment. Measurement choices do not reveal or disturb values; they select admissibility structures. Under this view, contextuality is neither paradoxical nor mysterious. It reflects the absence of a globally applicable law across incompatible measurement configurations. Kochen–Specker-type results are reinterpreted as statements about law non-globality rather than value indeterminacy. By relocating contextuality from ontology to architecture, this work integrates it naturally into the Generative Law model. Contextuality becomes a routing mechanism governing how commitments occur under different laws, completing the structural resolution of the major quantum paradoxes. This article is part of a broader theoretical program investigating the emergence of spacetime, geometry, and physical structure from the ψ–Θ–χ continuum. Material Extension and Relational Separation Without Fundamental Spacetime

Peter Erik Ronald van Heijst

Modern theoretical physics rests on two highly successful but conceptually distinct frameworks: quantum mechanics and general relativity. While both theories are experimentally confirmed to high precision within their respective domains, they rely on fundamentally different starting points. General relativity takes spacetime as a primitive geometric structure, whereas quantum mechanics is formulated in terms of abstract state spaces without intrinsic spacetime meaning. Most approaches to quantum gravity attempt to reconcile this tension by modifying, quantizing, or discretizing spacetime itself. Even in approaches where spacetime is said to be “emergent,” it typically remains the primary conceptual backdrop on which physical processes are defined. Despite extensive efforts, there is no consensus on whether spacetime should be regarded as fundamental or derivative. In this work, a more radical starting point is explored. Rather than modifying spacetime or its geometry, we ask whether spacetime can be excluded entirely from the fundamental layer of the theory and recovered only at a later, operational stage. The central question is not how spacetime behaves, but whether the notion of “what lies between physical objects” must be spatial or temporal at the most fundamental level. We propose a framework—referred to here as Super Relativity (SR)—based on a single pre-geometric postulate: the existence of a monotonically expanding set of possible quantum configurations, referred to as the flux. Formally, this flux is represented as a monotone, σ-finite family of capacity measures on a common configuration space (introduced in Section 2). This postulate deliberately refrains from assuming spacetime, time ordering, metric structure, causality, or dynamics. Within this pre-geometric core, two derived, dimensionless notions are introduced: utilization, describing the realization of configurations, and saturation, defined as the ratio between utilized and available configurations. A central structural element of SR is the strict separation between a core layer and an interface layer. In the core layer, all quantities are pre-geometric and dimensionless, and no reference is made to space, time, motion, energy, or interaction. Only at the interface layer are operational notions introduced, including clocks, rulers, and signal propagation. Spacetime, in this construction, is not a dynamical entity but an effective bookkeeping structure that encodes relative rates of change once a calibration to physical units is performed. Within this framework, gravitational phenomena do not originate from spacetime curvature taken as fundamental. Instead, they arise from variations in saturation that, at the interface level, manifest as uniform rescalings of physical processes. When expressed in geometric language, these rescalings reproduce the standard predictions of general relativity, including gravitational time dilation and the equivalence between gravitation and acceleration. The invariant local speed of light is not postulated but follows as a derived consequence, since both clock rates and signal propagation are affected identically by the same underlying saturation mechanism. The aim of this paper is not to introduce new empirical predictions beyond those of general relativity, nor to present a complete theory of quantum gravity. Rather, the objective is foundational: to demonstrate that the mathematical structure of general relativity can be reconstructed from a single pre-geometric postulate without assuming spacetime as part of the fundamental ontology. In this sense, SR should be understood as a reconstruction and reinterpretation of known physics, rather than as a competing dynamical theory. An extended and fully explicit formulation of the framework, including all intermediate steps, is available in a companion preprint (version V12) deposited on Zenodo. The present paper restricts itself to the minimal conceptual and mathematical structure required to establish logical consistency and to demonstrate the emergence of general-relativistic behavior at the interface level.
