Contextual Born-Weight Uniqueness under Stabilized Orbital Invariance, with a Protected Readout Model

Abstract

We study a conditional uniqueness problem for event weights in finite quantum contexts and a protected physical model in which its orbital premise can be made explicit. A finite contextual game consists of a normalized state and a finite PVM, with event size x(E) = ∥PEψ∥². We define stabilized orbital equivalence of binary terminal states by isometries on nonconsequence factors while fixing a binary consequence register. For orthogonal binary terminals the stabilized orbit is completelyclassified by the two branch norms. It follows that any positive, normalized, finitely additive event valuation that is invariant on these orbits and is defined on a ternarily rich class must equal x(E). The five assumptions are logically independent. We then distinguish geometric orbital equivalence, physical inaccessibility, and the separate normative premise of equal value. Uniform physical sealing is characterized by factorization through the conditional expectation onto an accessible algebra, with dimension-free diamond-norm stability bounds. Finally, a four-qubit collective-noise sector supplies a noiseless logical qutrit realizing ternary richness and an ideal binary readout at the selected grain. Under explicit post-readout sealing and interface-closure assumptions, same-size acts have the same admissible future consequence statistics. In a restricted instantaneous- protection model, total 2-local Hamiltonians cannot perform an informative protected readout, whereas an exact 3-local construction exists. The physical results do not derive event additivity or orbital value indifference; those remain explicit representation and normative premises.

Probability as Lawful Completion

Darren Jeffers

This paper develops a reconstruction of probability that does not begin by assuming a probability space, a probability simplex, or the Born rule. Instead, it asks a prior foundational question: under what physical and mathematical conditions are a set of alternatives entitled to carry positive, additive probabilities at all? The construction begins with lawful histories, future interfaces, and retained records. It distinguishes coherent alternatives from exclusive empirical events, preventing multiple interfering routes from being mistaken for separate probabilistic outcomes. A future-sufficient quotient identifies distinctions that no admitted future test can detect, while a record-qualification step determines when alternatives have become genuine empirical events. Dagger-compatible comparison and positive record factorization then produce a positive comparison kernel, from which normalized event probabilities arise only after the relevant record sectors are certified as exclusive. The framework is extended beyond individual measurements. Compatible finite record refinements generate a global probability measure under explicit realizability conditions; stochastic kernels provide a compositional calculus for carrying probabilistic information through unresolved future structure; and locally classical measurement contexts are assembled into a single positive state on a generally non-Boolean effect structure. This allows globally coherent probability to exist even when no context-independent deterministic assignment of outcomes exists. On a reflection-positive Hilbert-space branch, admissible future contexts are represented by positive effects and positive normalized states by density operators. The Born state-effect law then appears as the finite-dimensional representation of a probability structure that has already been earned through record qualification, positivity, exclusivity, refinement, and contextual consistency rather than introduced as a primitive postulate. The paper also separates two mechanisms that are often conflated: quadratic Born-type weighting arises from dagger self-comparison, whereas equal probabilities for symmetric alternatives arise from symmetry of the outcome structure. A further state-effect bridge analysis classifies residual coordinate freedom and identifies an exceptional rank-two adjugate transformation with Lorentzian signature, which is removed when positive self-dual identification is required. The central interpretation is that probability can function as a lawful form of global completion: it can carry future-relevant law through unresolved structure even when deterministic uniqueness is unavailable. The paper does not derive a mechanism selecting one actual outcome and does not claim that every physical sector satisfies the stated hypotheses. Instead, it provides an explicit dependency-controlled architecture connecting lawful completion, reflection positivity, event qualification, contextuality, stochastic continuation, Hilbert reconstruction, and the Born rule.

Protected Algebras, Gauge Structure, Fermion Modules, and Conditional Generation Sectors

Ha Minh Dung

We identify the internal algebraic structures that can survive Entropy-Activated Dynamics (EAD) compression and separate exact protection theorems from conditional Standard-Model realizations and parent-specific generation selectors. For a finite quantum Markov semigroup in the faithful Frigerio class, the protected observables form a finite-dimensional -algebra and coincide with the commutant of the Hamiltonian and jump family. A reset-semigroup construction realizes any prescribed matrix-algebra block, while a corrected stability theorem preserves the fixed algebra only under conditional-expectation-, symmetry-, or commutant-preserving perturbations; an arbitrarily small generic primitive perturbation can collapse it. The real algebra , its algebra bundle, the faithful unimodular group , and the usual hypercharge ray are therefore realizable and stable in named classes, not uniquely selected by the present EAD ontology. Patchwise overlap modules give an integer chiral index, a quasilocal dissipative realization, and an exact charge-one Fock restriction; however, number-conserving evolution cannot select the charge-one sector from a generic Fock mixture. An independent event-level collision parent has a unique stationary mode at three copies. The TS-80 parent-modulus classification then supplies the decisive correction: permutation-covariant positive collision parents contain a correlation modulus , with response . The independent point selects mode three, whereas the admissible correlated parent selects mode four; interacting parents introduce a second modulus and held-out families contain both modes. Hence family number is an integer protected-module invariant, but three-family selection is parent-specific and not universal. We also retain the sealed class-level exclusion of aligned single-scale localization textures, which produce a mixing exponent and obey after the declared extension. The paper does not derive a unique Standard-Model algebra, a unique microscopic gauge connection, observed gauge couplings, a universal value , or a successful Yukawa texture.

The Born Rule as a Consistency Condition of Realized Context

Veronika Pudsey

Why does quantum theory assign outcome probabilities by squared amplitudes rather than by some other function of the wave function? Existing results show that the Born rule is singled out by the structure of Hilbert space together with consistency requirements on probability measures, yet the physical role of measurement context is often treated as a mere choice of observable. Here we make the context interface explicit by introducing contextons, a unit of outcome capacity: the smallest increment in a context’s ability to produce one additional stable, externally accessible outcome record (within a fixed reliability threshold). We model the measurement interface as a realization condition that instantiates an orthogonal decomposition of possibilities into distinguishable outcomes. Under three basic requirements – normalization, additivity under coarse-graining of orthogonal outcomes, and representation invariance – outcome weights must take the quadratic form induced by the inner product, yielding and, for rank-one outcomes, . The Born weights are thus read as a context-conditioned “fit” measure: not an extra postulate, but the consistent outcome weight associated with realized distinguishability. The main contribution is conceptual: contextons operationalize measurement context as finite outcome capacity and make explicit the record-level structure on which standard uniqueness results act.

Reciprocal Internal Complementarity: A Conditional Route from Taichi-Like Mutual Inclusion to Schrödinger Normal Form, Entanglement, and Finite Born-Form Readout

Qingchun Zhang

Quantum theory combines three structures that are often introduced separately: complex norm-preserving evolution, entanglement of composite systems, and quadratic weights for measurement outcomes. This paper asks whether a complementarity-first architecture can organize their relation without importing one structure under the name of another. The motivating image is the Taichi Diagram: two distinguishable sides and two internal “eyes,” with each side carrying a trace of its complement. The image formulates a question; it is neither a historical anticipation nor a physical proof. On a supplied two-branch positive composite, a fixed-eye state family separates diagonal reciprocal inclusion from an off-diagonal coherent link. Positivity bounds that link, and within the declared two-qubit support the state is entangled exactly when the link is nonzero. On a supplied real two-plane, complement exchange as reversal admits elliptic, hyperbolic, nilpotent, and frozen generators. A non-fixed two-sided bounded orbit selects the elliptic branch, a positive invariant quadratic capacity, and a one-frequency Schrödinger normal form. One such plane is only one complex line and is projectively trivial, so relative phase and an entangling sector require an explicit aligned two-block lift. On that four-real-dimensional carrier, the complex-linear branch swap S is distinguished from the conjugating reciprocal reversal Theta = S C. A supplied exchange/XY Hamiltonian is Theta-even; its Schrödinger generator is Theta-odd, its unitary flow is reciprocal under Theta, and it produces an exact orbit from separability through maximal entanglement and back. Separately, passive repeatable lossless separators become orthogonal projections, while a nonnegative modular readout axiom uniquely linearizes channel response and yields a finite pure-projective Born-form valuation. This result is conditional and does not establish the density-operator trace rule, general effects or instruments, one actual outcome, or objective chance. Environmental restriction suppresses accessible pair coherence by an overlap factor and explains how a larger entangled whole can cast a classical-looking local shadow. The contribution is an assumption-controlled synthesis and countermodel chain, including an explicit carrier bridge and a typed distinction between branch exchange and reciprocal reversal; the component two-qubit, planar-flow, exchange, projection, and additive-response formulas are not claimed as individually new.

Hilbert Event Geometry and the Quadratic Weight from Operational Primitives: A Conditional Reconstruction with an Assumption-Dependence and Failure Map

william rodgers

We study how much of the Hilbert-space and Born-rule structure of quantum theory can be obtained from operational primitives that involve records but not probabilities. The setting is a regime in which coherent alternatives recombine without leaving a stable record. We obtain three results of different kinds. Geometry. From composable contributions, record-inert reversible controls and amplitude scalings, under named conditions, we obtain a real inner-product event geometry. The existence of the inner product is equivalent to bounded mixing and is assumed in that form. In a worked interferometer with one mode per channel, the metric is not an input: metric-free port swaps and phase flips fix the form up to scale, and boundedness only forces the other controls to preserve it. Its uniqueness up to scale, the orthogonality of distinct outcomes, and the representation of events by orthogonal projections are derived. Obstruction. This geometry, even with full symmetry about the preparation and exact dyadic standards, does not select the quadratic weight: the preparation mixed with the maximally mixed state survives. The structural operations exhibited here certify only values on which the quadratic weight equals the counting weight. On restricted event families where Gleason’s theorem is unavailable, a calibration order oriented by the quadratic magnitude selects it: given exact standards, a state is the quadratic one exactly when it respects all such brackets. Whether such an orientation can be earned is the open problem. Given such brackets and refinement only to a finite depth K, every admissible state lies within 2^-K of the quadratic weight, without the Archimedean step. On the full projection lattice, Gleason’s theorem with null support, or sphere-transitive symmetry with null support, gives other conditional routes. Bridge. A predictive probability kernel is introduced separately. Its identification with the real quadratic weight ||P_A ψ||² / ||ψ||² is conditional on kernel-admission hypotheses, one of which is equivalent to the Born value; the complex form needs phase invariance in addition. The hypotheses select a class of contexts, and none is shown to be forced. For each we state the physical feature it expresses and a sufficient condition where one is known, and we work out one apparatus in which the geometry-stage hypotheses hold together. For all but one we give a context in which it fails (for the founding conditions, one that leaves the regime); for the remaining one, TCC-1, we give an illustration. This paper is the first in a series built on a common framework, Structural Ledger Consistency (in preparation).

The Born Rule as a Canonical Symmetry Projection

Salimah H Meghani

We derive the Born rule as the unique outcome statistics induced by a canonical symmetry projection beneath nonselective measurement and unobservable symmetry structure. Concretely, given a compact symmetry group acting by conjugation, we identify the quantum channel that removes symmetry-orbit dependence while preserving exactly the invariant operator algebra. In a standard von Neumann algebraic setting, we prove that Haar averaging yields a normal, unital, completely positive idempotent map whose range is the fixed-point algebra, and hence a conditional expectation onto the invariant subalgebra. Moreover, any normal channel that is invariant under the symmetry action and fixes the invariant algebra pointwise must coincide with this Haar-induced projection. Specializing to projective measurement, Haar averaging over the associated phase-rotation symmetry yields the Lüders (pinching) reduction as the unique normal update map satisfying the same invariance and fixpoint requirements. The induced outcome weights are characterized as the unique probabilities specified by the restriction of the quantum state to the commutative outcome algebra, and they are preserved by the canonical reduction. As a further structural consequence of this symmetry projection, the von Neumann entropy is monotone under the induced reduction. The channel-based derivation applies in all finite dimensions, including qubits, and addresses a structural question not resolved by Gleason-type and positive operator-valued measure (POVM)-based classification results: it identifies the unique normal symmetry-forced reduction channel associated to a fixed measurement context, rather than characterizing admissible global probability functionals.
