Engineered Observation Limits in Exact Finite Models: What an Information-Theoretic Audit Certifies, Where It Stops, and Where It Does Not

Abstract

The cryptography arc of the observation-theory campaigns, eleven registered runs in exact finite toy models, arranged as three movements. What such an audit certifies, an engineered secret-sharing plateau that is a step where an interaction-borne one is not, a conditional information certificate that proves non-garbling without a threshold, unanimous scalar leakage orderings that carry no task guarantee outside certified comparability, and two entropy accountings whose difference turns over while their ratio does not. Where it stops, a constant carries zero entropy, so an audit built from informations is blind to a trapdoor by that bound while it sees a declared one-bit leak immediately, and only a procedure's declared freedom is auditable because the artifact carries no record of the search behind it. Where it does not stop, reading an ensemble that is not orthogonal costs two bits of information for each unit of induced error while an orthogonal ensemble is read perfectly and leaves no trace, and one classical record is held in full by both consumers while one shared correlation is held by one. Three of the eleven runs failed their declared bars and are reported with their design errors named alongside the corrected registrations. Every number is bound by assertion to a committed evidence record. The models are toy models chosen for exact enumeration, nothing is claimed about computational hardness or asymptotic security, no real cipher, protocol, curve, device, or deployed system is modeled or evaluated, and no attack is developed.

Order-Classicalization Without a Global Sequencer: The Kernel's First Prediction and Its Exclusion Audit

Tomoyuki Uchida

This paper is the forty-third in a sequence developing an interpretive framework that redescribes physical reality as a causally consistent history of information updates rather than as a collection of independently existing objects. It is the prediction-and-exclusion panel of the twelfth grouping — the U3 construction program — and it adopts nothing, spends nothing, and tunes nothing: Paper 41 adopted the common record-history kernel P_ker at the claim level L3-A and computed its admissible space; Paper 42 executed the recovery conditions and spent the grouping's single calibration, freezing the normalized kernel — the decoherence coefficient confined to the gate-truncated band Lambda_cal = [5e-5, 2.1] (architecture-level record-chain variant [5e-5, 2.1e-1]), the diffusion coefficient carried as a per-class prediction band, the order coefficient computed from operator overlap, the eligibility thresholds fixed at adoption. Every number in this paper is a consequence of the normalized kernel plus declared audit inputs. The paper computes the program's first genuine prediction bands, both defined as excesses over the full standard model. For any controlled-order process (quantum-switch class) with audited certified-export count N_exp coupling to the order register during coherence, the order coherence obeys -ln(V/V_std) = kappa_W lambda_dec N_exp, with V_std computed first (including the standard which-order record-formation decoherence Paper 34 already identifies) and the overlap coefficient computed exactly for the declared symmetric dual-rail tapped-switch configuration (orthogonal detector modes give kappa_W = 1, and V_std(t) = V_0(1-t) is derived for the actual circuit). The export-correlated geometry-noise band is delivered with its dimensional map and shown to sit roughly sixteen orders below any plausible force-noise floor — suppressed, computed and stated early; the order channel carries the panel. Three verdicts follow, each by a rule fixed before any data were consulted. The exclusion audit (one-dataset-one-role: the Paper 42 calibration dataset is barred) finds every existing class either export-vacuous or — the one export-non-vacuous sibling row, Sears et al. 2012 — bound-non-yielding, because the source states no quantitative residual and the declared transcription discipline forbids manufacturing one: nothing is carved, the surviving set equals the whole band, and this pre-declared fallback outcome is published as such. The empirical-distinctness decision (the generic-CQ collapse branch Paper 41 deferred here), evaluated pointwise over the band against the whole admissible universal-mass-density-CQ comparator class, returns undecided-with-a-specified-discriminant: no performed audit decides it in either direction, and the band's upper sub-band carries a specified, feasible, not-yet-performed differential audit — identical monitored devices with the output chain recorded versus unrecorded at fixed total decay, on which every admissible comparator predicts zero contrast and the kernel does not — with the decision rule for its execution pre-committed (contrast: distinctness earned; null across the discriminable sub-band: that region carved and the collapse verdict fires). The reachability trichotomy: the binding design inequality of any co-designed export channel is lambda_dec times the probe's certified fraction >= 4 deltaV / V_0 (derived for the declared circuit at its optimal tap), and on the supported photonic-switch platform class (Procopio 2015; Rubino 2017; Goswami 2018) the declared floors reach lambda_dec >~ 1.7e-1 at the conservative probe corner (4.7e-2 at the best declared corner): the verdict is (iii-c) — a surviving, partially reachable window — and Paper 44 is unlocked as a design-and-feasibility paper, inheriting the probe specification, the confound budget, and the differential-audit protocol. The retired authority is the Global Sequencer in its dynamical face — the assumption that definite before-and-after must be imposed by a dedicated universal classicalizing agency rather than generated at a computable, testable rate by ordinary record export; its retirement is conditional on P_ker and says so. "Not excluded" is never read as "confirmed"; no gate is crossed; no U3 is claimed — even the surviving window is a window, not a crossing.

From Bounded Access to Recoverable Relations

Dustin Ogle

A small quantum arrangement — a reader qubit Q₁ coupled to a remainder qubit Q₂ through one fixed gate, with declared operations on Q₁ only — has access to some distinctions of the remainder and not to others. This manuscript follows that arrangement through fourteen research units — thirteen with a model, exact proofs and an executable checker (with certified interval enclosures wherever a propagation is read), and one, the maintenance criterion, a definition with checked decision logic — and organizes what they establish around four distinctions. First, protecting an access restriction is different from preserving the distinctions a reader can use: a universal leakage bound and an exact one-gate value are proved; a reset-based maintenance pulse prolongs limited leakage at the price of previously accessible information, while a reversible pulse prolongs it and preserves the full declared input class. Second, meeting protection criteria does not identify a mechanism: a prepared finite clock-controller meets four declared criteria at four sizes, and so does a static field with the clock decoupled, and so does the clock's free mean field at the largest size. Third, restoring a supporting condition does not necessarily recover the capability: coupling alignment is shown to be a supporting condition of the capability, and a restoring process that improves alignment in six matched realizations meets the full restoration standard in one, misses it narrowly in one and fails in four, while useful access is preserved in none. Fourth, retaining a relation, delivering it to a reader and using it internally are different achievements, and a supplied design's advantage can reverse when its context changes without the comparison identifying the mechanism: a sector record restores access at three of four endpoints under an added permission; an internal coupling improves the primary endpoint without reaching the reference; a two-by-two of axis term and gating cell reverses both contrasts. Each result is stated with what it does not establish. No conclusion about self-maintenance, ownership or experience is drawn. The deposit is a technical manuscript, not peer-reviewed, that consolidates fourteen closed research notes and adds no theorem; the supporting proofs are in the notes. The package contains the manuscript (PDF and Markdown), the fourteen notes with two errata, every checker and its run record, the failure-path harness with its recorded outputs and a release adapter, the two earlier baseline notes, a claim-to-proof map, a correction ledger, a source lock and a manifest with the SHA-256 of every file. Every number printed in the manuscript was read by script from a packaged run record. Running checks/run_all.sh reproduces every checker's recorded summary line with the declared dependencies only (Python 3.11 or later; sympy 1.14, mpmath 1.3, numpy); the harness coverage, including the checkers it does not cover, is stated in §10 and Appendix A. The Witnessed Difference Programme - From Finite Distinction to Witnessed Measurement

JEREMY H. CARROLL

The Witnessed Difference Programme: From Finite Distinction to Witnessed Measurement develops a finite obstruction calculus that makes the assumptions behind mathematical and operational constructions explicit. Starting from an exhibited distinction, it examines what additional structure is required for retained witnesses, succession, duration, finite probability, observers, measurement, and weighted histories. The mathematical core includes finite symmetry obstructions, cochain complexes, quotient defects, closure diagnostics, and exact optimization certificates. Matching repair and dual witnesses certify an optimum under declared hypotheses. Presentation and adapter theorems characterize when compressed reports preserve specified operations, relations, and queries; counterexamples identify information that compression loses. These results provide concrete criteria for checking whether a proposed representation preserves its intended meaning. A layered observer architecture distinguishes presentation, memory, evaluation, and policy. Observation requires a registered, witnessed, re-accessible interaction accepted by a declared evaluator. Measurement adds a specified measurand, reported-value map, calibration, uncertainty, provenance, and any claimed metrological traceability. Permission and authority require their own declared rules. Version 0.5.0 consolidates the primitive-axiomatics and Genesis-alpha sources and develops additional bridges to the actual Genesis raising and marked-result constructions. Complete quotient keys retain directed assertions, loops, and joint incidence, while ordered raw histories preserve the information needed to replay declared costs and transitions. Nineteen historical targets receive finite or conditional resolutions through constructions, exact criteria, or counterexamples; the wider Genesis reconstruction obligations remain separately registered. A further extension connects Meron orbit cancellation to finite character sums and gives precise conditions for preserving observable numerators. The CODA-CS/Q branch develops conditional interval enclosures and refinement interfaces. Exact finite transfer traces and rational extrapolation illustrate the distinction between arithmetic error and model error: an enclosure for a finite interpolation calculation bounds a thermodynamic limit only when justified scaling-remainder bounds are supplied. The accompanying evidence architecture connects statements to implementations, tests, selected Lean 4 formalizations, source provenance, and independently checked receipts. Formal proofs, computational demonstrations, and physical interpretations retain their separate scopes. The contribution is an explicit framework for locating the assumptions, preservation conditions, and missing interfaces in a derivation. Quantum-capable representations are developed under declared inputs; unrestricted quantum reconstruction, Born-rule uniqueness, continuum physics, and the proposed higher-dimensional field-theory targets remain open.

Quantum Measurement Without an External Observer in OT-GKSL Certified Reference Frames, Finite Entropic Readout, and Noether Balance Laws

Gwenolé Bocquet

Pedagogical Guide, Foundations Audit, Uniqueness & Substitutability Analysis, Literature Comparison, and Reading Guidance : A Pedagogical Guide to Understanding the OT–GKSL Architecture This paper develops a relational axiomatics of quantum measurement within the Einstein-locked OT/GKSL source-readout architecture. Its central question is: under what physical conditions can one quantum system function as the measurement frame of another? The native dynamics is described on finite effective quantum supports by density operators and completely positive Markovian evolution of GKSL type (Gorini, Kossakowski & Sudarshan, 1976; Lindblad, 1976). At this level, the labels assigned to two subsystems do not by themselves determine which is the apparatus, the observer, or the measured object. This starting point is consonant with operational quantum measurement theory, in which measurements are represented by physical instruments, effects, and state transformations rather than by an unanalyzed external observer (Davies & Lewis, 1970; Ozawa, 1984), and with quantum-reference-frame approaches in which reference systems may themselves be finite quantum systems (Bartlett, Rudolph & Spekkens, 2007; Giacomini, Castro-Ruiz & Brukner, 2019). The specifically OT–GKSL proposal is that a measurement frame is a certified record-bearing subsystem. Given two finite systems A and B, the directed statement A←B means that state-dependent content associated with B is stably and physically encoded in records carried by A. The direction is not inferred from subsystem labels, entropy ordering, or correlation alone. It requires a declared record algebra or instrument, operationally accessible record channels, stability under the relevant open-system dynamics, sufficient distinguishability or identifiability of the encoded alternatives, and controlled native-to-readout bridge diagnostics. A measurement outcome label is not yet a physical record. For a quantum instrument {Iy}, a physical readout is represented by an explicit record register, for example MR(ρ)=∑yIy(ρ)⊗∣y⟩⟨y∣R, after which accessibility, persistence, distinguishability, and stability of the register can be tested. This distinction follows the operational treatment of quantum instruments (Davies & Lewis, 1970; Ozawa, 1984) while making the physical record requirement explicit inside the OT–GKSL architecture. The paper also clarifies the role of entropy in measurement. Neither S(A), S(B), nor the raw difference S(B)−S(A) determines the measurement direction. Mutual information I(A:B)=S(A)+S(B)−S(AB) diagnoses total correlation but is symmetric and therefore does not select a readout orientation. Quantum conditional entropy S(B∣A)=S(AB)−S(A) is relational but remains distinct from the classical conditional entropy obtained after a physical outcome register has formed, S(B∣Y)=∑ypyS(ρB∣y). These distinctions are standard in quantum information theory (Nielsen & Chuang, 2000; Wilde, 2017) and are used here as diagnostics rather than as substitutes for physical record certification. Record-relative coherence provides a further diagnostic. Relative to a declared completely positive, trace-preserving and idempotent dephasing or conditional-expectation map ΔRA, one may define CRA(ρA)=D ⁣(ρA∥ΔRA(ρA)). This is closely related to the relative-entropy formulation of quantum coherence (Baumgratz, Cramer & Plenio, 2014). A measurement frame need not be globally classical or highly mixed; what is required is that the degrees of freedom used as records possess the stability and coherence properties demanded by the declared protocol. The dissipative part of measurement is treated separately. On a faithful detailed-balance sector, quantum Markov dynamics admits entropy-production and gradient-flow structures associated with relative entropy (Spohn, 1978; Carlen & Maas, 2017). In the OT–GKSL architecture, this entropic contribution belongs to the native dynamical layer and is not identified with the full measurement cost. Hamiltonian, non-detailed-balance, record, calibration, bridge, detector, and inference contributions retain separate roles. Accordingly, the cost of a directed readout is protocol-dependent rather than a universal scalar entropy. Changes in mutual information or coherence may have either sign and are therefore treated as diagnostics unless an explicit physical conversion law is supplied. A complete readout burden is instead assembled from declared nonnegative resource terms and controlled remainders. This is compatible with the broader information-thermodynamic distinction between information, entropy production, work, erasure, measurement, and feedback costs (Landauer, 1961; Sagawa & Ueda, 2010). The relation A←B may therefore be viewed as a certified breaking of the prior status symmetry A↔B: before the record architecture is specified, neither subsystem is intrinsically the measuring reference. This is a symmetry of descriptive status, not a new dynamical symmetry of nature. The actual orientation is selected by the physical record structure and by the dependence of those records on the state-dependent content being measured. The paper also places ordinary measurement upstream of event and spacetime reconstruction. Measurement records, complete event records, event individuation, geometric coordinate records, and clock records are distinct structures. A record generated in a laboratory measurement does not by itself define a spacetime coordinate or a new event location. In the broader OT–GKSL architecture, complete certified records first support event individuation; a separate rank-D coordinate sector then supports geometric localization, with D=4 selected on the observed spacetime branch. The physical clock record is likewise distinct from both the native evolution parameter and the temporal coordinate used in the Lorentzian readout. This ordering connects the measurement axiomatics to the literature on decoherence and stable records, where environment-induced selection and redundant information storage explain how particular record structures can become effectively classical (Zurek, 2003; Ollivier, Poulin & Zurek, 2004), while leaving the subsequent event-to-geometry step as a specific feature of the OT–GKSL architecture. Finally, the paper formulates the associated Noether and balance-law structure. For a native observable Q, L†(Q)=0 implies conservation of its expectation value under the declared GKSL evolution. More general open-system symmetries and invariant sectors have been studied in Lindblad dynamics (Albert & Jiang, 2014). Dissipative entropy balances, however, are mathematically different objects from strict conserved charges. A further distinction arises at readout level: even when a native quantity is conserved, its physical record may contain calibration, representation, bridge, or support defects. Classical conservation is therefore a descended statement requiring both native conservation and controlled representation in the certified record channel. The resulting architecture provides an internal account of measurement without introducing a primitive observer. Reference frames, instruments, physical records, measured content, relational information, readout costs, and conservation laws are treated as typed and testable structures within the OT/GKSL source-readout architecture. Measurement then forms the upstream record layer from which the later OT–GKSL constructions of event individuation, calibrated clocks and frames, Lorentzian geometry, and classical spacetime readout can proceed. Finite-Observer Martingale Record Selection

Itay Priiz

This theoretical and computational preprint integrates standard QND measurement and posterior-martingale results with finite-confidence decisions and physically retained observer records. Under a declared quantum instrument and its standard outcome probabilities, the posterior is a bounded martingale on an increasing observation filtration. A precise sufficient identification condition yields asymptotic terminal weights; a binary Gaussian benchmark gives exact mean stopping times, finite-threshold latch probabilities, and a controlled population-transfer bias bound. Version 2.3 is the first public release. It distinguishes accumulated observations from lossy current memory; assumed Born/instrument probabilities from derived consistency results; expected entropy from pathwise ambiguity; continuous confidence endpoints from discrete overshoot and unresolved runs; and Kramers first escape from endpoint readout error. It also clarifies the conditional D18/D19 persistence-selector interface and the separate D1092 finite-resource ledger, with direct attribution to established QND convergence and filtering literature. The companion archive includes the editable manuscript, PDF, equation sources, a fixed validation protocol, executable independent checks, numerical results, a revision ledger, and unchanged historical inputs. Historical simulation summaries are explicitly distinguished from new executions; some older executable sources were unavailable. The new audit includes exact finite-kernel and stopped-posterior checks, Gaussian likelihood-mixture calculations, five neutral and four population-transfer boundary-value cases, and retention/accounting controls. All examples are analytic or synthetic. No laboratory measurements, independent Born-rule derivation, measurement-problem solution, universal physical selector, or new empirical anchor are claimed.

A Gate-VII Tabletop Signature Without a Global Experimenter: The Design-and-Feasibility Panel That Hands the U3 Question to the Laboratory

Tomoyuki Uchida

This paper is the forty-fourth in a sequence developing an interpretive framework that redescribes physical reality as a causally consistent history of information updates rather than as a collection of independently existing objects. It is the closing panel of the twelfth grouping — the U3 construction program — and its genre was fixed by Paper 43's closure before its first sentence: a design-and-feasibility paper for new configurations, barred from re-interpreting existing proposals, executing no measurement, scoring no datum, and moving no band. Paper 43's verdict (iii-c) — a surviving, laboratory-reachable-in-part window with reachable sub-window [1.7e-1, 2.1] at the conservative probe corner — unlocked this panel as a conditional discriminant-and-design unlock, not a claim that the generic-CQ collapse branch was avoided. What this paper supplies is the readiness layer: everything short of the measurement itself, arranged so that whichever outcome the world someday returns is already a typed verdict. Three feasibility verdicts are computed, each by a criterion declared before the computation, each with a named failure branch carrying a pre-committed publishable consequence. F_A — the photonic probe (flagship): Paper 43's symmetric dual-rail tapped-switch circuit is completed to pre-registration grade — a six-row confound budget with every row closing at its declared floor, an executable lambda-blind instrument-validity protocol at a declared tap ramp, the statistics/systematics split displayed (statistics never bind; every binding floor is a systematic), and a pre-committed outcome map on which a null carves a named region of the band while an excess is held un-interpreted pending the differential. F_A closes as a pre-registration-grade design — explicitly not an execution pass: every systematic either closes algebraically or carries an executable pass/fail gate whose failure branch is pre-committed, and the instrument-validity gate remains future laboratory work. F_B — the circuit-QED co-location envelope: the Paper 42 benchmark environment with one structural upgrade no existing device is claimed to instantiate — the monitored register is the order-control register — scored against five host-envelope criteria under a two-regime protocol (a validity regime that certifies the controlled-order resource, and a monitored regime in which the measured destruction rate of that resource is itself the observable). F_B is established as a design at declared floors, explicitly not a device claim, and the environment carries the named status-audit instruments (sector-exhibition, Clausius-defect protocol, co-location gravimetry option), specified and never executed. F_C — the recorded-versus-unrecorded differential at execution readiness: the declared toggle is the retention-step toggle — the entire analog chain runs identically in both arms; only persistent retention of the during-window monitoring stream differs, with both arms' rates estimated from identically-retained end-of-sequence readout, and the unrecorded arm's zero-export status fixed a priori at architecture level (transient buffer dwell time far below the retention floor, no persistent branch, effective redundancy below threshold — audited before the arm is admitted, with audit failure failing the verdict rather than mislabeling the arm). The comparator-blindness certificate is computed in the comparator class's own normal form to pass with about forty orders of magnitude of margin: the sole physical difference between arms — branch-correlated persistent-memory writes at meters — induces ~1e-36 per second of comparator contrast against an audit floor of ~1e4 per second, robust to twenty orders of transcription generosity. Ordinary write systematics are closed by an equalized dummy-write/dummy-load protocol, and the declared rate-matching floor closes from its own five-row decomposed budget; at that floor the discriminable sub-band covers the entire reachable window even at the conservative certified fraction. F_C is implementable. The realized corner of the pre-declared verdict architecture is (P_exec, D_disc) = (yes, yes): a band-motion-capable probe design exists, and the distinctness discriminant exists. The lasting artifact is the execution map: the single pre-registered decision tree from every feasibility verdict and every possible future measured outcome to its Paper-43 pre-committed consequence — null: carve; certified contrast tracking the recorded arm: distinctness earned and the first FrameworkForcedShift candidate; certificate failure in situ: confounded row, nothing carved, collapse at the audit frontier. The title's "Gate-VII signature" is typed exactly and nowhere exceeded: it names the designed observable pair whose executed measurement could first move the force axes of U3Status off pending — the paper claims no crossing, no measurement, no confirmation, no probability. The retired authority is the Global Experimenter: the assumption that empirical adjudication of an adopted dynamics requires a privileged, external certifying authority. Its methodological face is retired with the levels typed — world-level results come only from executed measurement, program-level results from pre-committed design, and nothing further is needed; its substantive face is declined, not refuted. The retirement is enforced by the subject matter itself: the probe's heralded detection records are certified export events — the very quantity that sources the predicted excess — so any apparatus that measures the kernel is made of what the kernel rates, and no experimenter stands outside the physics even in principle. U3Status is restated, not re-scored; Gate VII is claimed by nobody; the twelfth grouping ends with every branch disposed and the program handed to the laboratory.
