This paper states the Law of Causality as a foundational principle of the CohesionUnified Field Theory: causality is always intact; cause always precedes effect; nophysical process reverses this order. Unlike frameworks in which causality is assumedas a background condition or threatened by quantum phenomena, the Cohesion UFTgrounds the law in its foundational axiom. Pressure flows from the containing scaleto the contained scale, never the reverse. The causal order of the recursion cycle —Tension, Surplus, Torsion, Slip, Acceleration, Maintained Motion — is fixed by thegeometry and cannot run backward. Apparent challenges from quantum mechanics, including delayed-choice experiments and entanglement correlations, are resolved bythe reflected-signal account of wave function collapse established earlier in the series:collapse occurs at the return of the measurement signal to its source, preserving forwardtemporal order in every case. The law is consistent with all observation: no causalityviolation has ever been recorded in any experiment at any scale.

Quantum mechanics has long appeared to harbour violations of classical causality. Delayedchoice experiments, entanglement correlations, and retrocausal interpretations suggest thateffects can precede causes. This paper argues that these apparent violations are not features ofthe quantum field itself but artifacts of how measurement devices are modelled — specifically, the failure to account for the time lapse of the reflective signal that constitutes the physicalmoment of collapse. The central argument is that wave function collapse does not occur at the moment aprobing signal is emitted, but at the moment the reflected signal returns from the measuringdevice. This return signal is the physical hinge of collapse: the first instant at which thesystem’s structure becomes definite relative to the observer. Anchoring collapse to this concrete,time-ordered event restores forward causality without invoking exotic retrocausal mechanismsor many-worlds branching. This argument is developed within the Canon framework (Gilbert 2025–2026), in whichcollapse is identified as the pressure-driven operator ∇p — the structural reconfiguration thatoccurs when a system encounters a boundary. The reflective signal account identifies thephysical timing of that boundary event. A companion paper (Gilbert 2026, Collapse of theWave Function as Universal Operator of Perception) develops the philosophical extension ofthis argument.
Quantum measurement is traditionally framed as a discontinuous, observer-dependentevent that selects a definite outcome from a superposition. Standard accounts —Copenhagen, Many Worlds, and decoherence theory (Zeh, Zurek) — describe thephenomenon accurately within their domains but do not provide a mechanical origin forthe timing or mechanism of collapse. This paper develops a mechanical reinterpretationwithin the Cohesion Unified Field Theory: collapse is structural time synchronizationbetween a quantum system and the observer’s measuring device. Structural time, defined as the recursion rate of a system’s internal structure, evolves differently forisolated quantum systems (fast recursion, low structural density) and macroscopicdevices (slow recursion, high structural density). Measurement is the boundary eventat which these recursion rates synchronize. The reflective signal account of collapse provides the physical timing: collapsecompletes when the return signal from the quantum system arrives at the device, not at the moment of initial interaction. The selected outcome is the one whoserecursion phase is compatible with the device’s torsion density structure at the momentof synchronization. This restores forward causality, resolves apparent retrocausalparadoxes, and unifies decoherence, entanglement, and measurement under a singlegeometric principle. This is the first account of quantum measurement within theCohesion UFT framework.

This paper proposes a novel framework to derive all known laws of physics from a single foundational principle: the *Law of Consistency*, introduced in Section 2. By applying this law to symmetric states and conditions—regardless of the method of execution—it becomes possible, through pure mathematical reasoning, to reconstruct both classical mechanics (as developed by Isaac Newton) and, more significantly, quantum mechanics. Quantum mechanics is reinterpreted in this paper under a new conceptual framework rooted in consistency, providing coherent explanations for key phenomena such as entanglement, decoherence, wave function collapse, interference, the Pauli exclusion principle, and others. The principle of consistency is also extended to the domain of special relativity and shown to underlie its transition into general relativity. Some well-known equations (e.g., *E = mc²*) are re-derived, not for novelty, but to emphasize their foundational basis in the proposed axioms of consistency (Axioms 1 and 2) and logical deduction. Constants of nature (e.g., Planck's constant, *G*, *k*, etc.) are not addressed in this work.they may represent arbitrarily assigned values within the universe, but must be preserved through space and time by definition of the consistency laws.
The law of conservation of causality is one of the cornerstones of the AU-field axiomatics, allowing us to reconcile nonlocality with the principle of the absence of an information paradox. THE PROBLEM OF CAUSALITY IN NON-LOCAL THEORIES In special relativity, causality is provided by the finiteness of the speed of light: no influence can propagate faster, otherwise it would be possible to build closed time loops and violate the causality principle (the effect cannot precede the cause). However, in the Acta Universi hypothesis, the AU field shows non-local correlations with an effective rate(based on the interpretation of quantum entanglement and possible UAP phenomena). This raises a question: how is causality preserved? Answer of the AU model: causality is preserved not at the signal level, but at the level of the event archive structure. Space-time is not fundamental, but is derived from the correlations of the AU field. Therefore, "fast" correlations do not violate causality, since they do not transfer information in the classical sense.
Traditional physics and classical intuition rely heavily on the concept of unilateral, linear causality, in which causes strictly precede their effects in time. However, deep conceptual challenges arising from quantum mechanics, general relativity, and modern theories of quantum gravity indicate severe limitations of this one-way temporal causal chain at the fundamental level. This paper proposes an alternative physical paradigm: causality is not a localized process evolving unidirectionally along a fixed time axis, but rather a synchronic network jointly determined by the holistic physical structure, global boundary conditions, and topological-geometric features of the system. By analyzing delayed-choice experiments, quantum entanglement, action principles in classical and quantum field theories, and closed timelike curves in general relativity, we formulate a mathematical framework for "holistic structural causality" that operates independently of a unidirectional arrow of time. This framework demonstrates that the forward flow of time is merely an emergent thermodynamic property at the macroscopic scale. At the fundamental level, global phase-space constraints dictate the co-existence and mutual relations of events. This paradigm offers new perspectives for resolving the quantum measurement problem and the time-symmetry paradox, while unlocking valuable theoretical potential for modern cosmology and quantum gravity.
