Abstract

The convergence of Quantum Intelligence (QI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) presents a ground-breaking opportunity for creating intelligent healthcare solutions and systems. Within the scope of the proposed study, we examine the development of integrated healthcare solutions and systems designed to lift some of the burdens of quantum computational processing, drawing from the quantum computing paradigm, and complemented by the LLM healthcare solutions/models, which include BioBERT, BioGPT, and other GPT healthcare interpretive models, as well as the contextually and logically structured healthcare solutions provided by the LLMs. The models developed healthcare solutions primarily aimed at advanced healthcare diagnostics, treatment, and the responsive delivery and servicing of healthcare systems. He suggested solutions and models integrate various aspects of the use of variation quantum circuits, and also include compression, combining construction with genomic compression, quantum health care embedding and processing, and the use of unstructured health care narratives. Solutions and models provided in the health care context apply benefits derived from the quantum differential health care confidential protective protocols, and the blockchain health care models, focusing on optimal health care delivery and maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality. With design and construction that promotes optimal delivery of health care, the proposed models demonstrate simulated validations in their applications. These models offer substantive contributions to quantum health care and its various scalable solutions, emphasizing the delivery and responsiveness of health care. The proposed models in the system also demonstrate simulated validations in their applications and offer substantive contributions to quantum health care, its various scalable solutions, and the delivery and responsiveness of health care. We wrapped up the validation through the application simulations and showed that the proposed models and solutions in the healthcare domain provide CI or Q over Healthcare AI or Q solutions/models and capabilities, and over healthcare delivery and responses and solutions.

Quantum computing in medical diagnostics and treatment: A systematic review of trends, challenges and future directions

Najnin Sultana Shirin, Md Mehedi Hasan, Md. Kishor Morol +4 more

The growing digitalization of medical diagnostics has resulted in massive amounts of complicated data, including medical imaging and genomic sequences, clinical writing and real-time patient monitoring. Classical machine learning (CML) has achieved amazing success in evaluating such data. But its computational restrictions hinder scalability and efficiency when dealing with high-dimensional biomedical problems. Quantum machine learning (QML) combines the principles of quantum computing (QC) with advanced learning algorithms to offer a transformative paradigm for digital healthcare. This paper provides a systematic overview of QML foundations including quantum data encoding (QDC), variational quantum circuits (VQC), kernel methods, and hybrid quantum classical models. This paper also focuses on their applications in medical imaging, genomics, natural language processing (NLP) for electronic health records, drug discovery and healthcare security. We present comparative insights between classical and quantum approaches such as slow processing of high-dimensional data, limited scalability and inefficiency in complex optimization problems. This review also emphasizes the emerging directions towards quantum-based personalized digital healthcare approaches. By combining medical science with quantum QML has the potential to revolutionize the future of precision diagnostics, treatment optimization and healthcare data security. This study also provides a valuable resource for those interested in quantum computing and researchers who want to stay updated on the fast-growing area.

The convergence of quantum computing and large language models (LLMs) represents a major milestone in computational intelligence, introducing novel paradigms for information processing, complexity modeling, and scientific advancement. This survey provides a comprehensive overview of the emerging interdisciplinary field that integrates quantum mechanics with natural language processing. We begin by presenting the foundational principles of quantum computing and LLMs, then examine their integration through automated quantum code generation, hybrid transformer architectures, and quantum natural language processing (QNLP) frameworks. State-of-the-art models, such as quantum-augmented attention mechanisms and circuit embedding strategies, are evaluated across domain-specific datasets and benchmarks. We also investigate the role of LLMs as quantum research assistants, educational tools, and simulation agents, particularly in resource-constrained environments. Furthermore, the survey explores challenges related to scalability, interpretability, and quantum data encoding, and outlines future research directions-especially the vision for fully quantum-native LLMs. Our goal is to guide researchers through the current landscape and to encourage continued exploration at the intersection of quantum technologies and advanced language models.

Hassan Ali

The convergence of quantum computing and artificial intelligence (AI) presents a paradigm shift in healthcare, revolutionizing complex biological simulations, genomic data processing, and drug discovery innovations. Traditional computational methods, despite their advancements, often struggle with the sheer scale and complexity of biological data, limiting the speed and accuracy of medical breakthroughs. Quantum computing, with its ability to process vast datasets exponentially faster than classical computers, coupled with AI's predictive capabilities, offers a transformative solution for accelerating biomedical research and clinical applications. This paper explores quantum machine learning’s role in optimizing AI-driven molecular dynamics simulations for drug discovery. By leveraging quantum-enhanced algorithms, researchers can rapidly model molecular interactions, analyze drug-receptor binding affinities, and predict pharmacokinetics with unprecedented precision. Additionally, we examine quantum-assisted deep learning models for deciphering intricate biological mechanisms such as protein folding, epigenetic modifications, and metabolic pathway interactions, enabling more accurate predictions of disease progression and therapeutic targets. Furthermore, the integration of AI-quantum hybrid models in clinical diagnostics and imaging analytics is redefining personalized medicine. Quantum-enhanced deep learning facilitates high-resolution medical imaging, real-time anomaly detection, and optimized radiomic feature extraction, leading to early and more accurate disease diagnosis. In genomics, quantum computing significantly accelerates whole-genome sequencing and mutation analysis, paving the way for tailored treatment strategies based on an individual's genetic profile. Despite its promise, challenges such as quantum hardware limitations, data coherence issues, and ethical considerations must be addressed to ensure the practical implementation of quantum-AI healthcare solutions. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the potential, challenges, and future directions of quantum-AI synergy in transforming modern healthcare.
