The intersection of quantum computing, cognitive science, and artificial intelligence is fostering a new generation of neuroadaptive educational technologies that move beyond the algorithmic rigidity of conventional adaptive learning systems. The Quantum-Cognitive Adaptive Learning (QCAL) framework is introduced as a hybrid approach unifying quantum cognition, quantum reinforcement learning (QRL) optimized through the Quantum Natural Gradient (QNG), and real-time biometric feedback (EEG and eye-tracking). QCAL represents each learner’s cognitive state as a quantum wavefunction (ψ), enabling probabilistic modeling of conceptual uncertainty, superposition, and dynamic knowledge transitions. A meta-adaptive reward correction loop adjusts instructional policies using biometric indicators of cognitive load and engagement. Ablation and simulation studies with 500 synthetic learners demonstrated that QCAL-Full significantly outperformed classical adaptive models in learning efficiency (ΔM = +14%), cognitive-load stabilization (p < 0.001), and adaptive responsiveness. Pilot biometric validation (n = 10) confirmed the reliability of EEG-derived load indices (ICC = 0.89) and showed real-time engagement recovery via the reward-correction mechanism. Comparative analyses with Web of Science-indexed hybrid models and recent LLM + EEG tutoring systems (TutorLLM 2025; NeuroChat 2025) indicate that QCAL uniquely integrates quantum-cognitive state modeling with ethical, human-centered personalization compliant with GDPR/KVKK. By aligning NISQ-compatible quantum architectures with biologically informed and ethically explainable learning strategies, QCAL establishes a reproducible, privacy-aware foundation for the next generation of neuro-quantum educational systems.

Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are significantly transforming contemporary approaches to knowledge interpretation and application. AI, in particular, introduces adaptive cognitive mechanisms into educational settings, enabling learners to engage with complex concepts through refined visual representations and timely, contextspecific feedback. Quantum Computing, built on the principles of superposition, entanglement, and probabilistic reasoning, challenges the deterministic ways in which concepts are usually taught in classroom. Educators often find that conventional pedagogical approaches make ideas like qubits, quantum teleportation, and quantum gates appear remote and conceptually dense, leaving students unsure of how to approach them. In response to these conceptuayl hurdles, this work introduces the Quantum Pedagogical Framework for learning with AI Assistance (QPF-AI).This will offer a structured way for students to engage with AI-generated simulations that recreate the behavior of quantum phenomena dynamically and interactively, making these otherwise elusive ideas more accessible. AI transforms quantum learning from a passive effort to absorb information into an active process of inquiry, shaped by cognitive visualization and adaptive guidance. The evidence indicates that AI-supported instructional approaches substantially strengthen students’ conceptual understanding, engagement, and long-term retention when compared with traditional methods. In this sense, incorporating AI into quantum education is not only a progressive development but an increasingly necessary step for addressing the conceptual challenges that have long characterized the field. It helps students develop what can be called a “quantum mindset,” where hands-on sensory experience, abstract conceptual understanding, and deeper cognitive processing all work together rather than in isolation.
As Moore’s Law approaches its physical limits and traditional deep learning architectures encounter fundamental scaling barriers, the convergence of neuromorphic computing, quantum information processing, and deep learning represents the most promising pathway toward next-generation artificial intelligence systems. Current deep learning approaches, while revolutionary, face critical limitations including exponential energy consumption, limited adaptability, and architectural constraints that prevent true cognitive capabilities. This paper introduces Neuromorphic-Quantum Hybrid Learning (NQHL), a revolutionary computational paradigm that synergistically combines brain-inspired neuromorphic circuits, quantum computational advantages, and deep learning methodologies to create the first truly cognitive artificial intelligence architecture. Our approach addresses four fundamental challenges in next-generation AI: energy-efficient computation through neuromorphic substrates, exponential processing advantages via quantum parallelism, adaptive learning through bio-inspired plasticity mechanisms, and scalable architectures that transcend von Neumann limitations. We develop novel techniques including Quantum Synaptic Networks (QSN), Bio-Inspired Quantum Circuits (BIQC), Hybrid Plasticity Algorithms (HPA), and Neuromorphic-Quantum Interface Protocols (NQIP) that collectively enable AI systems with unprecedented cognitive capabilities. Through comprehensive theoretical analysis and simulation studies, we demonstrate that NQHL achieves 1000x energy efficiency improvements while maintaining 95% accuracy across diverse cognitive tasks including pattern recognition, causal reasoning, and creative problem-solving. Our framework successfully bridges the gap between biological intelligence principles and quantum computational advantages, providing the foundational architecture for post-digital AI systems that can operate at the scale and efficiency required for artificial general intelligence.
