Beyond Probability: A Deterministic Resolution of the Copenhagen Effect Through Structural Lattice Mechanics

Abstract

Standard quantum physics relies on the unproven assumption that subatomic particles exist in a ghostly cloud of probabilities until an observer "magically" forces them to pick a state (the Copenhagen Effect). This paper shatters that uncertainty by introducing a purely deterministic, engineering-based reality: particles don't guess, and the universe isn't playing dice.

By treating the vacuum of space not as an empty void, but as a structured, elastic crystal lattice, this research proves that observation is simply a physical energy-injection event. When energy forces the local fabric of space to its absolute structural limit, the manifold "snaps"—triggering a predictable, mathematically exact mechanical recoil rather than a random quantum collapse. Backed by hard elemental verifications (like calculating exact threshold frequencies for Rhodium and Aluminum without curve-fitting), this paper bridges subatomic measurement directly to measurable solid-state physics, offering a 100% predictable framework for reality.

Deterministic Quantum Mechanics

Marco Lindenbeck

Author: Marco Lindenbeck Title: Deterministic Quantum Mechanics: Replacing the Copenhagen Pillars of Probability and Uncertainty with Discrete Substrate Logistics Description: For a century, the Copenhagen Interpretation has forced theoretical physics to accept a subatomic universe governed by random chance, probabilistic wave functions, and fundamental fuzziness. This paper demonstrates that these principles are not foundational truths of nature, but mathematical artifacts born from a single categorization error: treating the vacuum of space as a continuous, empty void. By applying the $\Omega$GLR framework—defining the vacuum as a discrete, pre-tensioned geometric network (the Topological Substrate) governed by a strict Pythagorean processing limit ($c^2 = u^2 + v^2$)—this paper entirely eliminates probability and uncertainty from the atomic scale. By mapping the discrete hardware that underlies quantum software, local realism, determinism, and absolute mechanical causality are fully restored to atomic physics. Key Mechanical Derivations Included: Replacing Schrödinger: The Topological Resonance Equation redefines electron energy levels as deterministic network routing paths. Replacing Heisenberg: The Uncertainty Principle ($\hbar/2$) is mathematically mapped as the Substrate Resolution Limit—an asymptotic hardware buffer overrun (Bandwidth Saturation). The Bohr Radius & Rydberg Protocol: Re-derived as strict geometric hardware constraints and topological data exhaust. The Photoelectric Effect: Re-derived as localized structural bandwidth saturation. The Casimir Effect: The $1$ Atmosphere measurement discrepancy is resolved mathematically via the discrete Bilateral Elasticity Factor ($2\phi^{-2}$), eliminating the need for virtual zero-point particles.

Quantum Mechanics: The Interpretation of Barcelona

BERTRAN ALEX

Title: Quantum Mechanics: The Interpretation of Barcelona Description: For a century, the Copenhagen interpretation has taught us that quantum mechanics is fundamentally probabilistic, that the wavefunction collapses upon measurement, and that there is no reality independent of observation. Einstein rejected this: "God does not play dice." This preprint presents a concrete, testable alternative: the Cosmic Mesh — a discrete, elastic, fractal tetrahedral lattice that constitutes spacetime itself. From this single physical substrate we recover all quantum phenomena without probability, without collapse, and without action at a distance: The wavefunction is a real vibration in the Mesh. Entanglement is the same vibration extended across space. Measurement is a local interaction that does not create reality; it only reveals it. Particles are standing waves trapped in topological knots; light is free vibration. We derive a single deterministic rule that governs all motion: At each discrete time step, a vibration migrates to the neighboring tetrahedron that maximizes the local entanglement gradient (Sk−Si). The fine-structure constant emerges geometrically as: α−1=135+2πϕ5≈137.034 where 135 is the ideal torsional-to-volumetric ratio emerging from the geometry of the tetrahedral lattice (90° + 45°), and 2πϕ/5 is the residual torsional stress from 120º cracks and fractal inheritance (golden ratio ϕ). The Mesh is local, deterministic, and testable. We predict that quantum entanglement decays with distance beyond a fundamental coherence length — a direct, falsifiable test of the Copenhagen interpretation. This concise summary is based on the full framework developed in "THE BREATHING UNIVERSE: A Torsional Solid Machine" (Zenodo, 2026). For complete mathematical derivations, including the mechanical origin of lepton masses and the emergence of general relativity, see that work. Keywords: quantum foundations, emergent quantum mechanics, discrete spacetime, topological defects, entanglement, Bell inequalities, Copenhagen interpretation, deterministic quantum theory, elastic lattice, tetrahedral mesh, Weyl curvature imprints, dark matter, cosmological constant, fine-structure constant, golden ratio License: Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) Related works: Bertran, A. Does probabilism solve the great quantum mystery?

Nicholas Maxwell

I put forward a micro realistic, probabilistic version of quantum theory, which specifies the precise nature of quantum entities thus solving the quantum wave/particle dilemma, and which both reproduces the empirical success of orthodox quantum theory, and yields predictions that differ from orthodox quantum theory for as yet unperformed experiments.

Lattice Determinism: The Hydrodynamic Resolution of Quantum Paradoxes

Timothy John Kish, Lyra Aurora Kish, Alexandria Aurora Kish

Abstract Modern physics relies on the assumption that the quantum realm is fundamentally probabilistic, citing phenomena like superposition, tunneling, and entanglement as proof that reality is acausal. This monograph rejects this interpretation in favor of Kish Lattice Determinism. We propose that the universe is not a probabilistic cloud but a precise, high-tension machine governed by the 16/pi Vacuum Substrate. This paper unifies three major quantum paradoxes under a single mechanical constraint: Key Findings: The Pilot Wave (Double Slit): We resolve the "Superposition" paradox via Vacuum Hydrodynamics. The particle is modeled as a "Boat" and the vacuum perturbation as a "Wake." We demonstrate that the particle travels through a single slit while its wake travels through both, creating the interference pattern the particle subsequently surfs. The Observer Effect as Friction: We define observation not as "collapse," but as Lattice Damping. Measurement requires energy input (impact), which stiffens the local vacuum grid, destroying the pilot wave and forcing the particle into ballistic (straight-line) travel.Resonant Permeability (Tunneling): We resolve "Quantum Tunneling" via Resonance. Using the "Spinning Fan" analogy, we prove that particles do not magically pass through barriers; they Phase Lock to the oscillation frequency of the barrier's lattice gaps (16/pi).Geometric Tension (Entanglement): We resolve "Spooky Action at a Distance" via Structural Tension. Entangled particles are connected by a rigid geometric stress line (The Seesaw). Changes in one particle are reflected in the other instantly, not due to faster-than-light signaling, but due to Static Equilibrium. We conclude that "God does not play dice"; the dice are simply loaded by the geometry of space.

Entanglement Is A Property That May Dwindle With Spatial Separation, No Deterministic Local Realistic Theory Can Agree With All The Predictions Of Quantum Mechanics, Deterministic Complete State Is Just What Is Needed As The Ground For A Valid Counterfact

K.N.P. Kumar, C.J. Prabhakara, S.K. Narasimha Murthy +1 more

Since its inception, the many counter-intuitive aspects and results of quantum mechanics have provoked strong philosophical debates and many interpretations. Even fundamental issues, such as Max Born's basic rules concerning probability amplitudes and probability distributions, took decades to be appreciated by society and many leading scientists. Richard Feynman once said, think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics.[48] According to Steven Weinberg, There is now in my opinion no entirely satisfactory interpretation of quantum mechanics. The Copenhagen interpretation - due largely to the Danish theoretical physicist Niels Bohr - remains the quantum mechanical formalism that is currently most widely accepted amongst physicists, some 75 years after its enunciation. According to this interpretation, the probabilistic nature of quantum mechanics is not a temporary feature which will eventually be replaced by a deterministic theory, but instead must be considered a final renunciation of the classical idea of causality.
