Modal Simplicity: the primitive and its mathematical surroundings

Abstract

Route B characterized covariant perfect anticorrelation as the singlet cosine E(θ_A, θ_B) = −cos(θ_A − θ_B), whose optimized CHSH value is 2√2, attaining the Tsirelson bound, and reduced its foundational content to a single adopted axiom: Primitive Modal Simplicity (real-cyclic irreducibility — one active nontrivial harmonic sector). This paper maps the mathematical structure surrounding that primitive and reports the outcome of a dedicated attempt to derive it. Primitive Modal Simplicity is a local, selected-response condition; it is surrounded by two distinct global conditions — observable uniformity (End₀(V) irreducible), a genuine strengthening once the invariant mode is removed (w₀ = 0), and state homogeneity (G_cov transitive on pure states), a state-side condition the primitive does not imply, both holding for the physical qubit. We prove the observable side is sharply classified: for a nontrivial irreducible complex representation of a connected compact group with simple Lie algebra g, End₀(V) is irreducible if and only if (g, V) ≅ (su(d), d or d*); within this class observable uniformity implies state homogeneity, while a computed Sp(2) = USp(4) witness shows the converse false. Typing the primitive to the covariance group as PMS_G (real-cyclic irreducibility of the response's carrier), the same USp(4) carries, at the response level, an admissible perfectly anticorrelated dichotomic response whose cyclic carrier is reducible (5 ⊕ 10): state homogeneity does not force PMS_G for all admissible seeds, closing that implication in the negative while leaving a canonical-selector form open. State homogeneity is characterized as pure-state controllability by the covariance generators, and the residual Z_n ambiguity is resolved by automorphism transitivity (intrinsic non-selection). Finally, an external investigation asked whether a deeper informational principle grounds either condition. Its result is negative but precise: forgetting the designated covariance group provably loses the carrier (a non-identifiability theorem), and the one surviving canonical-enrichment escape — covariance completeness, identifying the covariance group with the connected reversible group — yields observable uniformity for a complex matrix factor, but only as a maximality choice with no independent informational ground. Primitive Modal Simplicity therefore remains adopted rather than derived, now with a precisely delimited conditional bridge and an explicit open problem. Covariant Perfect Anticorrelation and Modal Simplicity: A Characterization of the Singlet Cosine

Dustin Ogle

We characterize, within quantum theory, the two-party correlation E(θ_A, θ_B) = −cos(θ_A − θ_B) that saturates the Tsirelson bound |S| = 2√2. Let E be the correlation kernel of a U(1)-covariant, perfectly anticorrelated bipartite quantum realization (a jointly invariant state with covariant local dichotomic observables). We prove that −E is then automatically a positive-definite function on U(1), because it equals a diagonal matrix coefficient of an associated unitary representation. We prove a converse: every normalized nonnegative harmonic spectrum is realized by an explicit bipartite quantum model with genuinely local observables. In the real-even category we prove that spectral extremality of the kernel is equivalent to irreducibility of its real cyclic (GNS) representation, and we separate this from minimality of the cyclic realization: a reducible multi-harmonic kernel still has a minimal cyclic realization. Adding one axiom — Primitive Modal Simplicity, that the response occupies a single irreducible real sector — together with faithfulness of that active carrier, singles out −cos Δ. We prove by an explicit, reproducible counterexample (a spin-3/2 singlet with the dichotomic observable sign(S_x), giving the kernel −(7/8)cos Δ − (1/8)cos 3Δ) that modal simplicity is independent of purity, covariance, perfect anticorrelation, one reference dichotomic observable per party, absence of classical randomness, and minimality of the cyclic realization. We state carefully what is and is not established: this is a characterization of a scalar correlation-function family, not a reconstruction of the quantum state/observable framework, the Born rule, or a new empirical prediction. Admissible Non-Injective Transitions as the Primitive of Physical Description

Jérôme Beau

Quantum mechanics is the effective theory of physically real unresolved admissible structures and their resolution. This paper establishes the minimal axiomatic foundation from which this claim follows: physical structure is derived from a single primitive, the local structure of admissible transitions between observable states. Four axioms govern this structure: local projective admissibility (A1), structural non-injectivity (A2), admissibility as non-premature selection (A3), and projection locking (A4). Along the transitions A2 asserts to be generically non-injective, A1 and A2 give immediate-image information loss and structural fluctuations; neither permanent non-recovery nor the arrow of time follows, since non-invertible steps admit cycles. From A3, we derive the proto-state as a physically real unresolved configuration shared between two successive states, and show that admissibility forces the retention of phase coherence. Under an explicit representation-theoretic reading of the admissible fibre, A3 forbids invariant factorisation and hence imposes irreducibility. For a carrier of dimension greater than one generated by a conjugate pair, irreducibility implies non-commutation. It does not, however, make the commutator central or select a finite Heisenberg group: an explicit $\mathfrak{S}_3$ countermodel satisfies the extracted carrier contract and violates that conclusion. The Heisenberg carrier used by the spectral programme therefore remains a supplied realisation, and must be distinguished from its associated Weil representation. From A4, we derive the discrete character of quantum transitions as a consequence of the interaction between continuous Born–Infeld saturation and the discrete shell structure of the observable space. The foundation is stated with the point at which it stops short of carrier selection.

The Natural Dual-Axis Structure of Observation: Categorical Foundations and Consequences for Quantum Theory

Xianwei Meng

When the conditions under which a record is formed remain fixed, a physical theory may represent that record completely by a unary law of the state observed. This paper asks what structure is forced when the same independently certified physical identity gives different complete records under different formation conditions. The initial datum distinguishes two typed empirical roles, while the state identity of the formation side is derived from its complete behavior. Failure of factorization through the first projection proves that the formation-side role cannot be deleted. The complete row and column behaviors of the primitive law then determine two kernel pairs and their coequalizers. Unique descent retains every observable distinction while removing every redundant label, and the resulting realization is terminal among all exact role-preserving realizations. The product pairs the reduced roles; a pullback extracts the combinations on which records can actually be formed. Only after these steps does exponential transposition identify each surviving formation class with one complete response map. The resulting bijection supplies the state criterion and establishes the observation-state object. Compatibility with the antecedent theory preserves the independently given physical state space and yields the physical–observation law in which a fact is generated jointly by the state observed and the state of observation. The same construction gives exact criteria for conditional, label-free, and joint identifiability and selects the same-source pullback on which transport may subsequently be defined. A nonzero coherent response on that pullback yields the phase-transport fundamental equation, the first fundamental equation written directly on observation space. Quantum theory subsequently enriches this canonical interface. Coherent response and full circular phase select the complex field; reversible binary mixing yields CP1 ∼= S2 ; independent composition creates the four-dimensional event domain; response-event identity glues probabilities across complete contexts; and Gleason representation with marginal consistency gives the Born trace pairing. The two-qubit correlation tensor then yields the singlet cosine law, the CHSH inequality, the Tsirelson bound, and the Horodecki spectral criterion. Bell violation is thereby identified with the absence of a positive global answer section across incompatible observation states. The quantum formalism is thereby closed into one architecture: complex state geometry describes coherent physical possibility, complete observation states specify the ways in which facts may form, the Born interface joins them, and quantum instruments carry a realized fact into subsequent dynamics. Fixed observation sections recover classical unary laws, while smooth equivariant enrichment lifts relativistic frame geometry and internal gauge geometry to the same joint domain. The central result is ontological. Physobser Theory admits observation into objective physical reality not as a mind, an external readout, or a perturbation, but as an irreducible state-bearing axis; a fact is generated at its lawful interface with physical state. Category theory is the proof instrument. The discovered physical content is the dual-axis constitution of facts, which supplies a common foundation for quantum, classical, relativistic, and gauge physics.

The Impossible Middle - Operator-Real, Scalar-Invisible Quantum Structure on the Coprime Substrate: the Scalar-Blindness Theorem, its Additive-Multiplicative Source, a Topology-Payload Decoupling, and Reductions to Practice on Copyable Exact Data

Antonio Matos

Computation is usually drawn in two columns. A classical machine holds exact, copyable, fully readable data but has no amplitude structure. A quantum machine holds amplitude structure but forbids copying, forbids full-state readout, and collapses on measurement. The space between them — amplitude structure on copyable exact data — is assumed empty. This paper reports that the coprime arithmetic substrate occupies exactly that middle, gives the theory of why it can, and reduces it to practice in six ways. That the structure is genuinely quantum — real entanglement, not classical correlation in disguise — is measured on the substrate's own operators by the standard witnesses of non-classicality: the σ⊗τ Bell state reaches the Tsirelson bound (CHSH = 2√2, the algebraic maximum no local-hidden-variable model can attain); the three-party GHZ test returns the Mermin value 4.00 against a local-realistic bound of 2; the resource is strictly non-signaling; and the two-qubit Bell entropy is a full 1.000 bit — all to machine precision on copyable, integer-exact data. PART I — THE THEORY. The Scalar-Blindness Theorem: the substrate's non-Abelian content is operator-real yet provably invisible to every scalar instrument. Each prime carries a real-orthogonal carrier in SO(4) = SU(2)_L × SU(2)_R; the operator twist [V_p, V_q] is nonzero, yet every scalar functional of a pair is order-blind — Tr(V_p·V_q) = Tr(V_q·V_p) exactly — because the trace's order-invariance group contains the cyclic group, and n! = n only for n ≤ 2. The content first reaches a scalar at three bodies, as the so(4) structure constant O₃. Every classical instrument is a scalar functional, so its failure to see the content is a corollary, not a verdict on the content. The keystone (a causal localization): the cross-prime twist is sourced by the additive–multiplicative commutator [+,×]. Removing it from a faithful, operator-exact reconstruction collapses the twist by 253×–2334×. The weld: the carrier register is the already-published σ⊗τ register, reproducing its fine-structure table to under 1% at every floor; the scalar reading fades up the primorial tower while the operator reading persists. The Colored-Yang–Baxter Normality Theorem: the rigid, classically-readable braid backbone (a single-particle normality property) is tensor-insulated from the order-carrying payload (a two-particle property), so quantum payload and classical-readable topology coexist without fine-tuning. PART II — SIX REDUCTIONS TO PRACTICE, each occupying a regime neither column reaches: Branching search — substrate-native Grover at the exact √N query scaling, then read-all / adapt / clone / rewind on the running search, which no-cloning and measurement collapse forbid a quantum register. Address-gated multicast — one transmission to M receivers at fidelity 1, each decoding only under a floor-specific key a classical machine cannot compute (a 3-adic obstruction) and a quantum machine cannot transport (the cross-floor map is not a function). A statistics-blind directed relational store — a directed relation stored as classical, cloneable data whose direction no two-body statistic of the representation can read, built into a writable, queryable, validated knowledge graph. Topological braiding and universal quantum computation — a genuine non-Abelian anyon braiding on copyable exact data, from which the full stack is built: universal gates (Clifford braiding + the flash magic gate), Bell/GHZ entanglement, and a [[5,1,3]] fault-tolerant logical qubit at zero magic-distillation overhead — each cloned and read in full — composed into a center-less cislunar coordination fabric. Quantum algorithms and readout — the Quantum Fourier transform, phase estimation, and period-finding on the universal gate set, with the full Born-rule distribution read exactly from one state, without collapse. Open-system computation — an engineered Lindbladian whose unique steady state solves a problem, with the full non-equilibrium density matrix read and cloned; its dissipative generator is the polar partner of the scalar-blind twist, so the substrate is natively an open system. Every empirical claim is byte-gated against ground truth. The mathematics — the theorems, identities, and constructions — is dedicated to the public domain under the MIT license and reproduces from the definitions stated in the paper. The engineering apparatus that mints and practices these primitives is reserved. Finite Closure as the Unified Primitive: Emergence of Quantum Mechanics, Discrete Gravity, and Relativistic Structure (Paper 3)

Joe Bloggs

Finite Closure as the Unified Primitive: Emergence of Quantum Mechanics, Discrete Gravity, and Relativistic Structure (Paper 3) Abstract This paper completes the structural programme initiated in Reality is What Misspoken Language Cannot Deliver (Rev18) by deriving quantum mechanics, discrete gravity, and relativistic structure from a single finite reversible closure substrate. The previous Rev18 paper established the geometric scaffolding; finite distinguishable states under entropy bounds, closure algebra as primitive, holonomy defect curvature and Regge type discrete gravity converging conditionally to the Einstein / Hilbert action. The present work supplies the representation scaffolding. From finite reversible closure and amplitude additivity, we show that a linear state container is forced. Invariant comparability uniquely selects an inner-product structure. Local tomography selects the complex field, excluding real and quaternionic fundamental scalars under standard composition. The Born rule arises as the unique non-contextual additive measure on projectors consistent with unitary invariance. Tensor composition yields entanglement and operator norm geometry enforces the Tsirelson bound, excluding PR-box correlations within the closure derived Hilbert structure. On the geometric side, closure defects embed into weighted Regge curvature via holonomy-conjugacy classes. Under standard refinement conditions (bounded curvature, non-degenerate simplices) the Regge action converges to the Einstein / Hilbert action. Local Minkowski structure appears as the vanishing-curvature tangent limit. Closure is taken as more primitive than both unitary and “Lorentzian, these are representation languages for different compressions of the same finite reversible substrate. No dual ontology is introduced. Introduction Modern physics employs two highly successful but linguistically separated frameworks; quantum Hilbert structure and Lorentzian spacetime geometry. Their mathematical forms are well established, yet their joint ontological status remains debated. In Reality is What Misspoken Language Cannot Deliver (Rev18). Reality is What Misspoken Language a closure-first ontology was developed in which;- Bounded entropy per bounded region excludes primitive continuum; Finite distinguishable regional states form the primitive substrate; Deterministic, composable, reversible updates form a closure group; Closure defects correspond to holonomy elements; Weighted hinge sums reproduce Regge discrete curvature and Under refinement assumptions, the discrete action converges to Einstein / Hilbert. The prior Rev18 paper therefore provided the geometric scaffolding; discrete gravity from finite closure. The present paper extends that scaffolding upward into the quantum representation layer. It asks: If finite reversible closure is primitive, what state representation is forced when coherent overlap is admitted? The answer is not assumed but derived;- Amplitude additivity forces linear structure; Invariant comparability forces inner product geometry; Local tomography selects the complex field; Non-contextual additive projector measures yield the Born rule; Tensor composition yields entanglement and Operator-norm structure enforces Tsirelson rigidity. Thus the same primitive closure substrate underwrites: Finite reversible closure;- Complex Hilbert representation Born rule Tsirelson bound Weighted Regge curvature Einstein / Hilbert limit Local special relativity Unitary and Lorentzian structures emerge as representation languages of the same finite closure primitive.

Bell Inequality as a Theorem of Charlton Geometry: A Non-Invertibility Route to Quantum Correlation Bounds

J.P. Charlton Jr.

We derive the Bell–CHSH inequality as a conditional theorem inside Charlton Geometry (CG), rather than as an independent axiom about “local realism”. The key CG primitive is non-invertibility, η(ω) = η(−ω), which forces an observational quotient and produces irrecoverable “lost state” carried by polarity and intrinsic phase. In a bipartite experiment, Bell’s bound is recovered exactly when one adds an additional factorization condition asserting that outcomes depend only on local settings and a local lift choice, i.e. that the lost-state fiber decomposes into independent local fibers. Within CG, the natural geometric coupling of two regions through shared lift and holonomy generically violates that factorization while preserving operational no-signaling, so the Bell inequality becomes a theorem about a restricted subclass of quotients rather than a universal constraint. Using the Born brick as an upstream theorem that fixes the unique binary law cos2(θ/2) on the spin-lifted setting space, we recover the standard singlet correlation E(a, b) = −a °§ b and the Tsirelson bound 2√2 as the sharp CG-compatible CHSH maximum. In this framing, Bell violation is not an ontic miracle but the expected signature of a globally shared, non-invertible geometric substate whose reversal cannot be represented
