Abstract

This paper examines the problem of ensuring the security of information exchange based on the principles of quantum computing. Within the scope of the study, the stages of user authentication, secret-key generation via quantum states, error detection and correction, and privacy amplification were implemented in software. Based on the obtained secret key, a model was developed in which user data is protected through symmetric encryption while the key itself is transmitted using an asymmetric encryption mechanism. The results of communication sessions are recorded on the basis of blockchain technology, creating the ability to visually analyze the error rate in the system. The proposed approach has practical significance for enhancing information security, detecting eavesdropping attacks, and modeling modern cryptographic systems.

COMPARATIVE STUDY OF BLOCKCHAIN AND QUANTUM CRYPTOGRAPHY FOR SECURE FAIR EXCHANGE

Dr.Sunil Guptha2 Anita Rai1

In decentralized environments where the parties have only partial trust, secure and fair exchange is a must throughout the entire process. Smart contracts, transparency, and unalterable transaction records are the main functionalities that blockchain technology uses to implement fair exchange, while the case of quantum cryptography is different in that it offers robust security through the quantum key distribution method with eavesdropping that is detectable. In this paper, we examine the pros and cons of blockchain-based versus quantum cryptographic models for implementing secure fair exchange. We evaluate the issues that concern security, fairness, efficiency, scalability, and resistance to quantum attacks. The outcome of the analysis reveals that blockchain not only guarantees enforcement and transparency but also that the adoption of quantum cryptography has a tremendous impact on security, thus increasing the robustness and future-readiness of the fair exchange protocols.

SECURE INFORMATION EXCHANGE THROUGH QUANTUM KEY PROVISION METHOD

D.T. Muhamediyeva, Farxad Abduvaxabovich Tagaev

In this article, a model of secure key exchange based on the BB84 protocol of quantum cryptography was developed and simulated. In the study, photons transmitted through a quantum channel between Alice and Bob were encoded in quantum states, and security was ensured by random selection of bases when reading them. An error indicator was calculated to detect Eavesdropping (Eve) interference. After generating the key, a simple ECC encryption algorithm based on XOR was used to transmit data in a protected manner. The results showed that it is possible to effectively maintain information confidentiality using a key formed through the BB84 protocol.

Leveraging Quantum Cryptography And Blockchain For Strengthened Data Security In Cloud Infrastructures

Srinivasan J., Sindhu Achuthankutty, R. Rajkumar +3 more

The rapid adoption of cloud infrastructures has intensified concerns regarding data confidentiality, integrity, and trust management, particularly in the presence of emerging quantum computing threats. Classical cryptographic mechanisms, which underpin most existing cloud security architectures, are increasingly vulnerable to quantum attacks capable of compromising public-key encryption and key exchange protocols. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a hybrid security framework that integrates Quantum Cryptography with Blockchain technology to achieve robust, future-resistant data protection in cloud environments. The proposed framework leverages Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) to enable provably secure key generation and exchange based on quantum mechanical principles, ensuring resistance against eavesdropping and computational attacks. Blockchain technology is employed to provide decentralized trust, immutable audit trails, and transparent access control across distributed cloud services. Smart contracts enforce fine-grained security policies, automate authentication, and ensure tamper-proof data access logging. The synergy between quantum cryptography and blockchain establishes a secure key lifecycle, resilient identity management, and verifiable data integrity within multi-tenant cloud infrastructures. Comprehensive security analysis demonstrates that the proposed approach effectively mitigates quantum-enabled attacks, insider threats, and single-point-of-failure vulnerabilities commonly found in traditional cloud security models. Experimental evaluation and comparative analysis highlight improvements in data integrity assurance, key management robustness, and trust transparency, with acceptable computational and communication overhead. The results indicate that integrating quantum cryptography with blockchain presents a scalable and future-proof security paradigm for next-generation cloud infrastructures.

Securing IoT Devices: A Novel Approach Using Blockchain and Quantum Cryptography

Seun Adeoye

Rapid growth in IoT devices creates major security difficulties because they present potential weakening of systems to cyberattacks and open data breaches in addition to unauthorized system access. Traditional security methods relying on centralized authentication together with classical cryptographic techniques prove inadequate because they have single points of failure and exist under the threat of quantum computing advancement. A new system integrates blockchain technology and quantum cryptography according to this paper to resolve security issues. Data security through blockchain systems gives access to decentralized trust features together with tamper-proof records and ensures data integrity while quantum cryptographic methods especially Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) enable unconditional cryptographic key transfers and communications. A proposed security framework protects IoT networks through the integration of blockchain's unalterable system and QKD's quantum-resistant capabilities which create a strong defence system against classical and quantum-based threats. The approach includes three primary achievements: a system design that scales and performs security analyses together with performance tests that prove practicality. The presented research enables the development of next-generation IoT security measures suited for modern quantum technology advancements.

QUANTUM CRYPTOGRAPHY METHODS AND INSTRUMENTS

Secure data exchange over the network is ensured by the requirements of confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. To meet these requirements, sent data is encrypted on the sending side, and the received information is decrypted on the receiving side. Transmitted message is encrypted according to rules determined by the algorithm and key. Crypto security of encrypted information depends on the key length. Among the encryption algorithms, there are algorithms with a symmetric (private) key and with an asymmetric (public) key. Despite all the advantages of a private key, asymmetric keys are used to deliver it from one user to another (key distribution). However, high-performance quantum computers are capable to decrypt intercepted data. Therefore, modern cryptographic systems use quantum key distribution method. The idea of using quantum bits was proposed in 1970 by S. Wiesner. In 1984, Ch. Bennett and G. Brassard proposed the BB84 protocol. The use of «entangled » quanta for systems with quantum key distribution was offerred in 1991 by A. Eckert. All modern quantum cryptography systems are based on these above-mentioned protocols.
