Abstract

### Abstract This note consolidates a six-stage audit programme into a two-zone architecture for a protected Leaf. A **Detuning Zone** contains fragmentation, phase diffusion, recycling, carry events, wall load, and spent records. A separate **Cold Sanctuary** carries the safe Bank-Leaf dynamics. Fresh Supply and Spent Drain are distinct from the Sanctuary: the former is a low-entropy resource and the latter is an outgoing record channel. The architecture therefore separates three questions that are often conflated: isolation of safe dynamics, attenuation of machinery risk, and export of the records produced by attenuation. Two exact isolation statements are distinguished. In a single-excitation or mode-amplitude description, a reducing direct-sum sector obeys \([H,P_Q]=0\Rightarrow P_Q U(\sigma)P_N=0\), proving zero transition amplitude between machinery and safe sectors. For simultaneously present tensor-product subsystems, a stronger protected-subsystem condition is required: on the protected code block the Hamiltonian must factor as \(H_{CL}\otimes I_G+I_{CL}\otimes H_G\), with no off-block coupling. The reduced Cold-Leaf state then evolves autonomously and unitarily even when the machinery subsystem carries entropy, records, or initial correlations. A classical companion theorem expresses the same requirement on a product Poisson phase space: interaction and non-Hamiltonian vector fields must have zero projection on the protected Cold phase flow. Approximate isolation is qualitatively weaker. A per-cycle defect may accumulate as \(N\varepsilon\) in resonant amplitude and \(N^2\varepsilon^2\) in energy; random phases produce diffusive \(N\varepsilon^2\) energy, while spectral detuning may bound a specified response. A neutral Sanctuary does not clean leakage: it stores it. The dual airlock multiplies gains only when common bypass, floors, stage mismatch, backflow, and non-normal transients are controlled. The No-Free-Coldness theorem shows that an ancilla returned exactly fresh and uncorrelated for every input can induce only an isometric channel; genuine reduced processing leaves a complementary record, correlation, entropy change, or reset/free-energy cost. The exact mathematical results do not constitute a microscopic physical derivation. The all-orders local symmetry or protected algebra, Lorentz-covariant helicity implementation, microscopic chiral drain, replenishment cost of Fresh Supply, nonlinear wall law, arrival-transversality bound, and numerical leakage budgets remain conditional. No full General Relativity, Standard Model, cosmological, or observational claim is made.

1. This note records a claim-bounded theorem-target route from the R^8 non-split Z48/Z24 Bank/Leaf scaffold toward quantum kinematics and record stability. It does not claim that R^8 derives quantum mechanics from finite arithmetic alone, solves the measurement problem, derives hbar, predicts a numerical collapse threshold, or supplies a complete stochastic record dynamics. The narrower claim is that an interleaved 48/24 fine-step coordinate exposes projective phase in its complexified character decomposition; a faithful real local calculus for generic projective phase naturally uses a two-dimensional phase plane, equivalently a complex structure J^2 = -I, once an effective real Hilbert carrier is admitted. Given such a complex Hilbert carrier and standard operational projector/POVM additivity, Born weights follow by standard representation theorems. The record problem is then reformulated as a stability and settlement problem: a stable Leaf record is a branch sector whose phase debt has become unrecoverable at the Leaf level through leakage, decoherence, and coarse-graining stability. The resulting pointer-basis and single-outcome mechanisms are theorem targets, not completed physical derivations. 2. This note records a claim-bounded theorem-target response to the phase-per-information conversion problem in the R^8 Bank/Leaf scaffold. The coefficient χ_{φI}, if it exists as an effective scalar, should not be introduced as a primitive naked constant. Nor should it be identified with a direct contraction such as Tr(F h^{-1}) or Tr(FG). When F is a curvature two-form and h is a symmetric information metric, such a direct contraction is naturally trace-trivial, skew, or convention-dependent rather than positive. The safer theorem target is a positive phase-information stress tensor K_{μν} = <F_{μα}, h^{αβ} F_{νβ}>_g, where F is Bank phase curvature, h_{μν} is a positive Leaf information metric on the record or connector base, h^{μν} = (h^{-1})^{μν}, and <·,·>_g is an invariant positive inner product on the compact physical phase sector. Effective scalar quantities such as χ_{φI}^{eff} are to be read from generalized eigenvalues or other invariants of the pair (K,h), with the readout map left open. Integer carry is a separate topological object, defined by phase winding, normalized flux, Chern/Hopf number, or spectral-flow integrality under appropriate geometric conditions; it is not stress magnitude. This note does not derive collapse, a CP record-selection instrument, a numerical threshold, or a universal phase-per-nat constant. 3. This note records a claim-bounded theorem-target route for selecting the Leaf information metric h_{μν} in the R^8 phase-information response architecture. It does not claim that the correct metric h*, the phase-per-information coefficient χ_{φI}, the record threshold ε_rec, a Bank throttle law, or a CP record-settlement instrument has been derived. The narrower proposal is that h* should not be chosen by taste or by fitting a desired threshold. It should be selected, if at all, by compatibility with exact governance, normalized monotone quantum-information geometry, phase-information stress viability, and bounded throttle clearability. The previous Phase-Information Response Court replaced the rejected primitive scalar Tr(F h^{-1}) with the positive theorem-target stress tensor K^{(h)}_{μν} = <F_{μα}, h^{αβ}F_{νβ}>_g. The present note asks which metric field h_ρ can make the generalized spectrum of the pair (K_h, h) both alive and non-runaway while keeping the information debt clearable by a bounded Bank response. The result is a concrete metric-sensitivity protocol comparing normalized monotone candidates such as SLD/Bures, Wigner-Yanase, and Kubo-Mori. The key methodological patches are built in: h is treated as a metric field evaluated at a record state, spectra are computed through the generalized pair (K_h, h), monotonicity is required for unconditional CPTP coarse-graining rather than arbitrary postselected CP maps, curvature ensembles must be normalized independently of the tested metric, and metric selection is Pareto-first rather than a hidden weighted scalar fit. The note remains a PASS/YELLOW theorem-target architecture: it defines a disciplined court for h* without pretending that h*, χ_{φI}, ε_rec, or record dynamics have already been solved.

Nostalgia as Constrained Descent / The Affine-Kernel Fibre, a Six-State Neutral-Pair Room, and the Projected Room-Response Boundary

Diogenes

This revised note consolidates a falsifier-first route developed around the heuristic word “nostalgia”: the possibility that a visible Leaf record pays a cost because it must realize a hidden Bank structure that does not descend globally into the Leaf geometry. The metaphor is retained only as a mnemonic. The mathematical content is a constrained Bank descent, a faithful affine clock with an internal order-two kernel fibre, a selected-cell doorway, and a projected room-response problem. The principal affine correction is exact. A faithful affine generator \(g\) of order \(48\), with linear part \(\Lambda\) of order \(24\), contains a bottom \(C_2\) holonomy kernel. For the lifted hidden generator \(h=g^2\), one has\[1\longrightarrow \langle h^{12}\rangle\simeq C_2\longrightarrow \langle h\rangle\simeq C_{24,\mathrm{aff}}\longrightarrow \langle\Lambda^2\rangle\simeq C_{12,\mathrm{lin}}\longrightarrow1,\]with \(h^{12}=g^{24}=t_{e_1/2}\) on the torus in both certified Bank-locked branches. Thus the two affine-kernel states are internal states of one lifted affine orbit, not external replicas. This internal fibre supplies a natural kinematic home for a rank-two same-kernel-character pair sector. Tensoring it with the exact rank-three cyclic-neutral pair sector yields a six-dimensional candidate room. The minimum operator court therefore consists of one string operator and six combined room operators, forming a \(7\times7\) correlation court. The selected-cell residue remains an exact mode-specific doorway coefficient, and conjugate legs cancel its complex phase under a stated factorization hypothesis. The remaining central boundary concerns spectral attribution. A projected pole or positive projected density establishes room-seeded spectral response, but does not by itself prove an independent asymptotic open room. Such a claim requires a reducing-subspace, wave-operator, or asymptotic-flux certificate. Moreover, a vanishing direct doorway does not exclude corridor-mediated access; the relevant source is the energy-dependent Feshbach effective source. The finite/affine architecture therefore receives a strong conditional pass, while the physical room-channel attribution remains focused major work. No derivation of QCD, physical quark-pair creation, confinement, a string-breaking distance, or the Standard Model is claimed.

Convex-Entropy Reservoirs and Conditional Ground-State Preparation: An Operational Separation of Thermodynamic Curvature, Accessible Cooling, and Dynamical Reset, with a Spectral-Obstruction Case Study in the D1-D5 CFT

Noah Embaye Abraha

The paper has two components. Parts I–IV develop a conditional operational theory of reservoir-assisted cooling and exact reset at the level of channels; Part V is a self-contained Hamiltonian-level case study of exact reset embeddings in a D1–D5 CFT reservoir. The two notions of “exact reset” are different and are kept distinct throughout. We separate three logically distinct questions in reservoir-assisted cooling: what the reservoir entropy implies thermodynamically, which low-temperature ancillas are accessible, and what extra dynamical resource exact ground-state preparation needs. Convex microcanonical entropy is neither sufficient nor necessary for a microscopic cooling operation; it is a thermodynamic route to an ancilla supply, under a stated local-Gibbsian hypothesis. For a resonant qubit target we prove that every energy-conserving collision with a qubit ancilla acts as p' = p + s(q − p), 0 ≤ s ≤ 1, so cooling to error ε is possible exactly when ancillas with excited population at most ε can be supplied. We then remove the two-level restriction: for an arbitrary energy-incoherent sink, within the stated collision model, the least reachable excited population is a sector-wise majorization (sorting) problem with an explicit closed-form solution. Its consequences are: (a) a cooling criterion: a sink can cool a target of population p if and only if some pair of its levels one target gap apart has population ratio below p/(1−p); (b) a Gibbs sink at any finite temperature leaves the exact floor min{p, (1−p)e^{−β E_sys}} > 0, and this floor is stable under arbitrary sequences of fresh sinks at the same temperature (the sequence extension is proved by a concavity lemma); (c) the floor is a single-temperature statement: a hot and a cold thermal sink used together cool every p ∈ (0,1), and iterating fresh pairs drives p → 0 with no work store, measurement or record, while sequential single-sink collisions already reach n̄_c / (1 + n̄_c + n̄_h); (d) sharpness of the energy support, or one classical record of entropy h_2(p), is what buys exactness in finitely many steps. Exact reset has two independent resource obstructions in the stated model. The optimal residual excitation of any energy-conserving reset is the sink weight on directions that lack spectral room (the room floor), with a criterion for measurement-free exact reset; against limited control, any circuit of m gates with rank(G − I) ≤ ρ leaves the target excited with probability at least the sink-spectrum tail beyond ρm, so, within this gate model, the number of gates needed for exactness is at least the corresponding tail rank divided by ρ, with the operational integer requirement expressed by the ceiling where a finite target error is specified. Within the shell-ancilla model, an explicit dimension requirement dim ≥ 1/ε follows, with the corresponding bound attained by the stated construction. The room floor and the rank–error bound are energy-conserving, sector-wise and gate-rank refinements of the Ticozzi–Viola purification bound, and are presented as such. We also give a conditional zero-designated-work SWAP construction with N = O(log log(1/ε)) collisions for a quadratic-entropy family, a dimension-counting reset criterion with an exact ladder-sink cost–error curve, an error budget for measurement–feedback completion, and a finite birth–death noise model with a positive spectral gap. Black holes, Na⁺_147 nanoclusters, structured-vacuum engines and Casimir experiments are treated as delimited case studies, not demonstrations. The contribution is a conditional operational characterisation with falsifiable requirements; it is not a claim that the third law has been circumvented. Finite instances of the principal formulas were checked by exact arithmetic and numerical sampling (random energy-conserving unitaries against the closed forms, and exact evaluation of tabulated values; Section 27); these checks are consistency tests, not substitutes for the proofs. Part V. The case study proves two conditional obstructions to exact spectral reset embeddings in a D1–D5 CFT reservoir. The first is a sector-specific capacity bound: under explicit component-string, single-strand, graded-orbifold and constant-character hypotheses, the maximal-left-charge Ramond-ground-state sector has dimension 4N, so a larger source cannot embed into it. The second is a finite-dimensional perturbative criterion: for an exactly degenerate source block transported by a regular family, the second-order effective Hamiltonian must act as a scalar on the transported block, equivalently the block must lie in a single second-order eigenspace, which gives an eigenspace-multiplicity bound for a prescribed target sector. At level four, under an explicit Hermiticity and perturbative-matching hypothesis, fifteen long-multiplet primaries with distinct second-order lifts give a fixed-label non-scalar target block. All obstructions are conditional and local, no universal no-go theorem for the full D1–D5 Hilbert space is claimed, and no microscopic reset dynamics are constructed.

The Cinematic Leaf I & II

Diogenes

## The Cinematic Leaf I–II — Unified Abstract This two-note collection develops an exact mathematical framework for three distinct questions: when a restricted readout of a discrete system supports autonomous dynamics, which hidden distinctions must be retained for complete prediction, and when the resulting discrete history can be realized by a continuous flow. The framework keeps the internal carrier, observable readout, sampling grain, and physical interpretation separate; the integers 24 and 48 remain fixed rather than serving as parameters in a continuum limit. **Part I — Factor Closure, Minimal Predictors, and Flow Embeddability in Exact 24/48 Dynamics** establishes the factor-closure criterion for compact Hausdorff systems and constructs the canonical predictor as the quotient by equality of complete observable futures. In a cyclic torus skew-translation laboratory, it derives exact block-closure conditions, minimal future-relevant register size, torus-versus-lift recurrence laws, and 24/48 Fourier and correlation-revival identities. Every closed torus block is an exact sample of a translation flow, although its continuous generator is not uniquely determined. A parabolic counterexample proves that an autonomous canonical predictor need not embed in a continuous flow on the same state space, even when a larger unrolled cover supports one. **Part II — Minimal Amplitude Predictors, Fine-Compatible Flows, and 24/48 Half-Step Lifts** applies these gates to a frozen unitary weighted cycle $T=DX_{24}$ with a phase-sensitive rank-eight primitive readout. It obtains an exact accumulated-word criterion for block closure and computes canonical amplitude predictors by positive observability Gramians. The simple spectrum of the weighted cycle ensures that every Hermitian logarithm of the fine transaction preserves the one-click predictor's invisible subspace. A coarsely sampled predictor admits a flow of that same fine transaction precisely when it retains the full one-click predictive subspace. An exact example yields complex predictor dimensions 20, 16, and 8 at sampling intervals of 1, 12, and 24 clicks. A separate population-record analysis proves an obstruction to continuous all-state population autonomy along unitary paths ending in a nontrivial permutation. The 48-register analysis distinguishes central-cover memory, adjacent-pair fine-step parity, and square-root spectral branches. Opposite square roots at fixed squared eigenvalue have the same central deck parity, while a prescribed half-step fixes only the parity of each integer logarithm branch. A positive sharp-record-preserving encoder cannot reproduce a coherence-sensitive half-step through monomial fine evolution for all inputs. An explicit coherent doubled realization exists, but changes the ordinary paired population camera. Together, the notes distinguish predictive closure, continuous interpolation, and fidelity to the same underlying transaction. Proofs are accompanied by reproducible exact certificates and numerical flow checks. The native Bank dynamics, physical preparation and readout, generator selection, click duration, locality, Lorentzian structure, and spacetime attribution remain open; no emergence of physical spacetime or experimental confirmation is claimed. **Keywords:** factor closure; canonical predictor; observable-future equivalence; observability; unitary dynamics; flow embeddability; stroboscopic sampling; logarithm branches; quantum records; 24/48 clock; Bank–Leaf framework.

Channel-resolved stability selection of subharmonic response in a Floquet Ising chain — audit code, data, and figure pipeline (v1.0-pre-submission)

andrei ursachi

Finite-time return measurements can assign the same stability label to different dynamical responses. We document this ambiguity in a periodically kicked Ising chain initialized in a Neel product state, and replace an earlier numerical claim with a reproducible finite-model benchmark. For ten spins, even-period return highlights identity-like pulse settings as well as a period-doubled cycle. Signed odd-period and Fourier diagnostics distinguish these cases. At the perfect-pulse point, diagonal phase perturbations preserve the basis-state cycle exactly. Under fresh Gaussian transverse rotations, the alternating ensemble-mean local correlation has envelope exp(-2σ²n), independently of the diagonal Ising coupling. Independent local channels also give an elementary product expression for the ensemble cycle fidelity; a shared pulse-angle fluctuation has the same local mean but can have a different fidelity. These ensemble identities do not determine nonlinear per-realization scores, whose averaging order must be retained. All simulation results derive from one newly seeded state-vector dataset with raw traces and source hashes; analytic controls are evaluated separately. The resulting shelves and sampled noise crossings describe a specified preparation, channel, diagnostic and observation window. They supply no evidence for a universal discreteness mechanism, interaction protection from these exact-center ensemble observables, or a thermodynamic time-crystal phase. Corrective release with the corrected manuscript, code, data and figure pipeline. Related Research Square record: https://www.researchsquare.com/article/rs-8790240 . This version replaces the earlier audit bundle with the reviewed reproducibility package. Archived claims are retained for provenance and are not endorsed. This preprint is not peer reviewed.

Residual Surface Return in the Extended Q5 Leakage Sector

Craig Edwin Holdway

T94 extends the leakage-state framework of T93 by deriving the leading-order return dynamics of phase amplitude that leaves the \(Y\)-admissible crossing sector. Rather than treating leakage as a terminal loss mechanism, the theorem models leakage as a redistribution process in which rejected amplitude enters a secondary sector, circulates internally, and subsequently returns to the observable crossing sector. The extended state space is \[\mathcal{H}_{\mathrm{ext}}=\mathbb{C}^{2}\oplus\mathcal{H}_{L},\] with dynamics governed by the coupled generator \[\mathcal{G}=\begin{pmatrix}A & -K^{\dagger} \\K & B\end{pmatrix},\] where \(K\) transfers amplitude into the leakage sector, \(K^{\dagger}\) returns amplitude from the leakage sector, and \(B\) governs internal circulation within \(\mathcal{H}_{L}\). The theorem establishes that leakage is redistribution rather than destruction. For an initially coherent crossing state \(\psi_{PQ}(0)\), amplitude enters the leakage sector according to \[\lambda(t)=tK\psi_{PQ}(0)+O(t^{2}),\] and subsequently evolves through the internal circulation operator \[e^{tB}.\] The resulting leading-order return contribution to the crossing sector is \[R(t)=K^{\dagger}e^{tB}K\psi_{PQ}(0).\] This return term is identified as the residual surface return of the extended Q5 architecture. A central result of the theorem is that residual return is not automatically restorative. The effect of the returned phase is determined entirely by its alignment with the gate-admissible crossing component \[\psi_Y(t)=\Pi_Y \Psi(t).\] The coherence response is governed by the real overlap \[\Re\langle \psi_Y(t),R(t)\rangle.\] Three regimes emerge: \[\Re\langle \psi_Y,R\rangle > 0\] produces reinforcement of coherent crossing, \[\Re\langle \psi_Y,R\rangle < 0\] produces dephasing, and \[\Re\langle \psi_Y,R\rangle = 0\] produces a neutral contribution. The theorem, therefore, refines the decoherence picture introduced in T93. Decoherence is not interpreted as the disappearance of phase information but as the return of redistributed phase in a state that is no longer aligned with the admissible crossing mode. Misaligned return decreases gate-admission weight and reduces interference visibility even when the total norm remains conserved. Several corollaries follow. Generic residual return does not remain phase-locked to the crossing mode and therefore fails to restore coherence automatically. Exact recovery requires reconstruction of the full leakage-sector evolution \(e^{tB}\), making reversibility information-demanding even when the underlying dynamics remain unitary. Effective irreversibility is thus attributed to the information cost of reconstruction rather than to fundamental non-unitarity. T94 serves as the first formal return-transport theorem in the Q5 sequence. Together with T93, it provides a complete first-order picture of leakage dynamics: \[\text{crossing sector}\;\xrightarrow{K}\;\text{leakage sector}\;\xrightarrow{e^{tB}}\;\text{surface circulation}\;\xrightarrow{K^{\dagger}}\;\text{return transport}.\] The theorem establishes that the coherence consequences of leakage are determined not by the existence of returned phase, but by the alignment of that returned phase with the unique \(Y\)-admissible crossing mode.

The principal affine correction is exact. A faithful affine generator ggg of order 484848, with linear part Λ\LambdaΛ of order 242424, contains a bottom C2C_2C2 holonomy kernel.
**Part II — Minimal Amplitude Predictors, Fine-Compatible Flows, and 24/48 Half-Step Lifts** applies these gates to a frozen unitary weighted cycle T=DX24T=DX_{24}T=DX24 with a phase-sensitive rank-eight primitive readout.
T94 extends the leakage-state framework of T93 by deriving the leading-order return dynamics of phase amplitude that leaves the YYY-admissible crossing sector. Rather than treating leakage as a terminal loss mechanism, the theorem models leakage as a redistribution process in which rejected amplitude enters a secondary sector, circulates internally, and subsequently returns to the observable crossing sector. The extended state space is Hext=C2⊕HL,\mathcal{H}_{\mathrm{ext}}=\mathbb{C}^{2}\oplus\mathcal{H}_{L},Hext=C2⊕HL, with dynamics governed by the coupled generator G=(A−K†KB),\mathcal{G}=\begin{pmatrix}A & -K^{\dagger} \\K & B\end{pmatrix},G=(AK−K†B), where KKK transfers amplitude into the leakage sector, K†K^{\dagger}K† returns amplitude from the leakage sector, and BBB governs internal circulation within HL\mathcal{H}_{L}HL. The theorem establishes that leakage is redistribution rather than destruction. For an initially coherent crossing state ψPQ(0)\psi_{PQ}(0)ψPQ(0), amplitude enters the leakage sector according to λ(t)=tKψPQ(0)+O(t2),\lambda(t)=tK\psi_{PQ}(0)+O(t^{2}),λ(t)=tKψPQ(0)+O(t2), and subsequently evolves through the internal circulation operator etB.e^{tB}.etB. The resulting leading-order return contribution to the crossing sector is R(t)=K†etBKψPQ(0).R(t)=K^{\dagger}e^{tB}K\psi_{PQ}(0).R(t)=K†etBKψPQ(0). This return term is identified as the residual surface return of the extended Q5 architecture. A central result of the theorem is that residual return is not automatically restorative. The effect of the returned phase is determined entirely by its alignment with the gate-admissible crossing component ψY(t)=ΠYΨ(t).\psi_Y(t)=\Pi_Y \Psi(t).ψY(t)=ΠYΨ(t). The coherence response is governed by the real overlap ℜ⟨ψY(t),R(t)⟩.\Re\langle \psi_Y(t),R(t)\rangle.ℜ⟨ψY(t),R(t)⟩. Three regimes emerge: ℜ⟨ψY,R⟩>0\Re\langle \psi_Y,R\rangle > 0ℜ⟨ψY,R⟩>0 produces reinforcement of coherent crossing, ℜ⟨ψY,R⟩<0\Re\langle \psi_Y,R\rangle < 0ℜ⟨ψY,R⟩<0 produces dephasing, and ℜ⟨ψY,R⟩=0\Re\langle \psi_Y,R\rangle = 0ℜ⟨ψY,R⟩=0 produces a neutral contribution. Exact recovery requires reconstruction of the full leakage-sector evolution etBe^{tB}etB, making reversibility information-demanding even when the underlying dynamics remain unitary. Effective irreversibility is thus attributed to the information cost of reconstruction rather than to fundamental non-unitarity. T94 serves as the first formal return-transport theorem in the Q5 sequence. Together with T93, it provides a complete first-order picture of leakage dynamics: crossing sector  →K  leakage sector  →etB  surface circulation  →K†  return transport.\text{crossing sector}\;\xrightarrow{K}\;\text{leakage sector}\;\xrightarrow{e^{tB}}\;\text{surface circulation}\;\xrightarrow{K^{\dagger}}\;\text{return transport}.crossing sectorKleakage sectoretBsurface circulationK†return transport. The theorem establishes that the coherence consequences of leakage are determined not by the existence of returned phase, but by the alignment of that returned phase with the unique YYY-admissible crossing mode.
