This paper is the twenty-ninth in a sequence developing an interpretive framework that redescribes physical reality as a causally consistent history of information updates rather than as a collection of objects independently existing within spacetime. It returns the series to its physics-of-records basement after a long ascent through semantics, epistemology, agency, and the constitutive foundations of normative standing. Its question is narrow and physical: when does a quantum record that has been redundantly encoded in the environment count as a warranted public record — a record fit to be treated as shared, independently checkable, finality-graded evidence? Two prior papers already settled what this paper deliberately does not re-derive. Paper 3 established the world-side form of public finality for quantum records: a publicly final fact must be effectively classical pointer information, redundantly encoded across many disjoint environmental fragments, satisfying a demand-side redundancy bound, drawing on no-broadcasting, spectrum broadcast structure, and quantum Darwinism. Paper 8 separated, inside quantum mechanics, the temporal address of a record from its formation. The present paper adds the type-separation those two leave open: relational temporal address is not physical publicity capacity, and physical publicity capacity is not warranted public standing. The central result is a separation, not a new piece of physics. On the framework's declared anti-luck conception of warrant, meeting Paper 3's redundancy bound is necessary but not sufficient for warranted public standing. This is made precise in two steps. Unconditionally, two histories are constructed that realize the identical audited reduced state on the system and its environmental fragments — and, where stability is at issue, the identical audited reduced process over an audit interval — hence the identical spectrum-broadcast structure, redundancy, fidelity, and accessibility, so that no functional of the audited state alone can tell them apart — yet whose target-relative provenance profiles differ: in one, the fragments branch after the recorded event into mutually independent system–environment interactions; in the other, they pass after that event through an additional common source. It follows that provenance admissibility is not a functional of the audited quantum state. Conditionally, under a declared anti-luck calibration in which the second history's additional common bottleneck, selective retention, and closed challenge path constitute a defeater, the two histories receive different warranted-public-standing profiles. So warranted public standing tracks provenance, not redundancy alone — and not by stipulation, but because a recovery whose apparent independent agreement is an artifact of a single source is, in the series' anti-luck sense, unwarranted. The quantum publicity ceiling itself — that only effectively commuting content can be exactly public — is imported as background, not claimed as novel. The paper further shows that no quantum record certifies its own warranted public standing from inside, and that an adequate relational temporal address does not by itself confer public standing. All of this holds without a Global Bookkeeper: no physically privileged subsystem inside a consistency-constrained quantum information history supplies, primitively and globally, a non-contextual valuation, a privileged simultaneity, a canonical subsystem cut, a unique classical history, a self-certifying finality, or a global reference frame. This paper is the third in a sequence developing an interpretive framework that redescribes physical reality as a causally consistent history of information updates rather than as a collection of objects independently existing within spacetime. The parent framework, The Universe as a Consistency-Constrained Information History, argued that the constitutive core of auditability is not a bureaucratic log but record definiteness: the existence of stable, reproducible, path-independent commitments. The companion paper, Consistency Without a Global Clock, refined observation into a three-stage process—interaction, commitment, and finality—and identified finality with redundant, environmentally distributed, and independently recoverable recording. The present paper joins these two threads. Its question is narrow and structural. Decoherence and environment-induced superselection explain commitment: why local interference becomes practically irreversible and why stable pointer states emerge. They do not, by themselves, explain public finality: why a committed fact can be confirmed by many mutually independent parties, non-disturbingly and repeatably, as the same fact. The organizing distinction of the paper is therefore decoherence ≠ finality. A private microscopic correlation can be committed locally at low redundancy, yet fail to be a publicly shared fact. What such public finality additionally requires is the object of the analysis. The argument runs through three steps that lean on established results rather than new mechanisms. First, the no-broadcasting theorem implies that noncommuting quantum information cannot be distributed as-is to many parties; consequently, any value that many independent accessors can recover non-disturbingly must be effectively classical pointer information. Second, spectrum broadcast structure supplies the canonical form of such redundant environmental encoding, and quantum Darwinism supplies its dynamical mechanism. Third, if public finality in a given context requires m mutually independent accessors, acting on disjoint environmental fragments, to recover a committed fact within an information deficit δ, then the available environmental redundancy must satisfy a demand-side lower bound Rδ ≥ m. This is not a prediction of how much redundancy the world realizes; the realized amount is supplied by physics. It is a statement about the minimum redundancy a record must carry to count as publicly final. The thesis is summarized as an Auditability–Redundancy Principle: redundancy is not an accidental ornament of objectivity; it is the physical form that decentralized auditability must take. The paper supplies no new mechanism for redundancy, does not derive the Born rule, does not solve the measurement problem, and does not claim that redundancy is universal. In no-collapse readings, the facts discussed here are branch-relative or decoherent-history-relative. The status of the paper is L2, a necessity/convergence claim, while its formal engine rests on established L1 results.
This paper is the seventh in a sequence developing an interpretive framework that redescribes physical reality as a causally consistent history of information updates rather than as a collection of objects independently existing within spacetime. Two prior results set up its question. The third paper (Uchida, 2026c) characterized public finality—recoverability of a committed fact by many mutually independent accessors, non-disturbingly and repeatably—as a broadcast redundancy: an effectively classical pointer value proliferated across many disjoint environmental fragments, approximately in the form of spectrum broadcast structure. The fourth paper (Uchida, 2026d) read the evaporating black hole as the regime in which a committed interior record crosses, at the Page time, from hidden to recoverable encoding, reconstructible from the radiation through entanglement-wedge reconstruction; and the parent framework (Uchida, 2026a, §10) had flagged holographic quantum error correction as a place its language of protected, redundantly encoded, locally recoverable records might find content. The present paper makes that content precise as a structure theory of recoverable records, kept separate from any claim of new physics or any suggestion that the framework derives the underlying results. The central claim is conditional and structural. The framework does not claim that every recoverable piece of information is a code, that the universe is literally a quantum error-correcting code, or that AdS/CFT describes our universe. It claims that when information qualifies as an erasure-recoverable record because an encoding preserves a logical degree of freedom—or a logical operator algebra—against a specified family of physical erasures, then that recoverability is formalized as an exact or approximate quantum error-correcting structure, in which each correctable erasure leaves an authorized complementary region supporting a recovery map. That formalization is itself an established mathematical classification; the paper's interpretive contribution is to read the series' recoverable record through it, and to set it against a second, distinct architecture. Broadcast redundancy makes the same effectively classical value legible from many disjoint fragments; erasure-correcting redundancy protects noncommuting logical quantum information by keeping each correctable erased region ignorant of—approximately private with respect to—the protected logical content, while suitable remaining regions recover it. The formal engine of this distinction is the duality between correctability and privacy (the information–disturbance tradeoff), not the no-cloning theorem; no-cloning, with the access structure of quantum secret sharing, survives as the reason independently usable recovery regions for arbitrary unknown logical quantum information must overlap. Three commitments keep the reading honest. First, it separates three senses of "record"—protected logical quantum information, a committed classical record, and a publicly final record—and insists that recovery or decoding restores access to logical quantum information but does not, by itself, commit a classical value; commitment additionally requires measurement, pointer imprinting, decoherence, and stabilization (Uchida, 2026f), and public finality a still later broadcast. Second, holographic quantum error correction is offered as the sharpest worked model of the distinction, with exactly solvable tensor-network toy codes (exact within the model) kept distinct from realistic semiclassical holographic reconstruction beyond those limits (generally treated as approximate), and both from the further question of state-dependence. Third, code-recoverability does not by itself imply public finality: protected quantum information can be recoverable from authorized regions while remaining non-public. The framework relabels code structure as the architecture of recoverability and derives none of it, making no independent empirical prediction. Its disciplined thesis is that codes protect recovery; broadcasts create publicity—different architectures that a single physical history may nonetheless realize in sequence.
This paper is the thirty-second in a sequence developing an interpretive framework that redescribes physical reality as a causally consistent history of information updates rather than as a collection of independently existing objects. It opens the ninth grouping — the quantum-mechanics–gravity interface trilogy (32 Quantum Geometry → 33 Records Backreacting on Geometry → 34 Causal Structure Without a Global Order) — and is the first paper to cross Gate IV (geometry sensitivity): the metric is no longer a fixed background but a quantum degree of freedom. Papers 8 and 31 localized records relationally but on one fixed geometry, where a frame-change groupoid on the shared space made localization objective. When the geometry is itself superposed there is no physically privileged cross-branch map — a common manifold, if used, is mathematical scaffolding, not a physical identification — so that groupoid has no physical domain, and a tempting shortcut appears: compare the branches on one external background and read "the same event" off coordinate coincidence. The claim is that there is no Global Background. The hole argument's lesson — that a record-formation event is individuated by relational coincidences and what is recorded there, not by a manifold point (Einstein's point-coincidence resolution; Stachel, 2014; Rovelli, 2002) — does not merely survive into the quantum case; it sharpens into a problem no background can solve: across inequivalent geometry branches even the relational strategy must be carried by a declared, admissibility-constrained comparison map. Throughout, an event is a record-formation event, kept type-distinct from the record token and from its provenance; unrecorded events are out of scope. The flagship R-A is a separation, not a denial: there is a two-branch geometry-superposition state for which the background-label map (a presentation artifact identifying events by the external labels used to write the branches down) and the admissible relational/provenance comparison return different verdicts, and only the latter is invariant under relabeling. So event identity is not background-readable; primitive identity gives way to identity under an admissible comparison map, where admissibility requires relabeling/gauge-invariance, a support (witness-neighborhood) condition, provenance preservation, anti-gerrymander, and challenge-openness — and the background-label map is the foil, not one admissible map. A worked finite model — two branches presented as record-coincidence graphs with no shared vertex set, including a harder case with the same labels and same contents but non-isomorphic structure — computes the divergence and the determinate / admissibly-open / incomparable trichotomy. R-B extends Paper 31's localization profile to a geometry-indexed GeoLocProf that strictly generalizes it (Paper 31 is the single-geometry degenerate case), built over an identity fiber rather than treating one event as recurring in several branches. R-C lifts the disposition trichotomy to geometry branches. R-D handles region and local-algebra correspondence as induced-where-possible or declared/deferred. This crosses Gate IV, carries Paper 9's record arrow into the interface as a provenance-compatibility clause, retires the Global Background, and hands backreaction to Paper 33 and causal order to Paper 34. Geometry is quantum; its dynamics is not derived. ALAC Paper 32. This paper is the thirtieth in a sequence developing an interpretive framework that redescribes physical reality as a causally consistent history of information updates rather than as a collection of independently existing objects. It is the second panel of the eighth grouping — a foundational-physics trilogy — and its quantum-structural centre. Paper 29 defined a quantum record's world-side physical-publicity capacity "at any declared admissible grain gamma," deferring the question of which grains are admissible; this paper pays that debt. Its subject is classicality: which observables support stable pointer structures and redundantly recorded outcome information, shareable as "the classical facts." The claim is that classicality is real but not authoritatively global. There is no Global Classicalizer: no physically privileged subsystem or process that primitively fixes the one system/environment tensor cut, the one set of pointer variables, the one authentic decoherent-history family, and the one true coarse-graining. Einselection selects pointer states, but only relative to a declared cut and interaction; the cut is not fixed by the bare global state, because tensor-product structure is observable-induced and admits inequivalent virtual subsystems. Decoherent and consistent histories select no unique family either. What disciplines this is not a global classicalizer but the series' admissibility machinery, here made operational. A classicality verdict is relative to a declared, anti-gerrymandered, challenge-open cut gamma and history-family kappa, is objectively assessable relative to that specification, and is profile-valued (ClassProf). The flagship R-A separates an unconditional kinematic part — a bare state fixes neither subsystem purity and entanglement nor which observables count as local; relative to a declared tensor-product structure it fixes a sharpness profile over the local-observable algebras, which a worked two-qubit Bell-state example computes (the same state is maximally entangled under one factorization and a product under a rotated one), although the Born sharpness of one fixed physical observable is not changed by a mere refactorization — from a conditional dynamical part: if one fixed dynamics admits more than one admissible factorization with distinct robust pointer structures, the classicality profiles need not be unique, an antecedent whose multiple-factorization and pointer-robustness components recent fixed-Hamiltonian searches support (Adil et al. 2026), without yet establishing its redundancy or history-family components. There is no primitive, state-only canonical cut, though a particular dynamics may contingently leave a unique admissible one. R-B lifts the set-selection problem: consistency does not single out a family, contrary inferences are possible, and whether quasiclassicality leaves a unique realm is unsettled; conditional on more than one admissible quasiclassical family, time-extended assertibility is family-relative, with a disposition trichotomy (determinate / admissibly open / spuriously unique). A coherence policy, not a theorem, governs cross-grain comparison: admissible grains agree on the full statistics of genuinely shared observables, while their publicity capacity profiles agree only given a common access and fragmentation specification; elsewhere they are declared incomparable, and the failure to glue globally is itself the signature of no global classicalizer, whose formalization is handed to Paper 31. This discharges Paper 29's grain-deferral and keeps classicality (world-side) type-distinct from warranted public standing (the warrant layer): classicality is grain-relative but objective — there is no primitive state-only canonical cut, and there is no anarchy either. This paper is the thirty-first in a sequence developing an interpretive framework that redescribes physical reality as a causally consistent history of information updates rather than as a collection of independently existing objects. It is the third panel — the capstone — of the eighth grouping, a foundational-physics trilogy. Its subject is spacetime localization: where and when a record or system is — its position, orientation, relative phase, and time. The claim is that localization is real but not authoritatively global. There is no Global Frame: no physically privileged reference system that fixes absolute location and orientation, a privileged global simultaneity, a classical frame standing outside quantum theory, and one physically privileged, globally valid perspectival gauge-fixing. Localization is relational: positions and times are defined relative to a declared quantum reference frame (QRF), itself a quantum system that may be superposed and entangled with what it localizes (Giacomini, Castro-Ruiz, & Brukner, 2019; Loveridge, Miyadera, & Busch, 2018). What keeps this objective rather than subjective is a strict typing of cross-frame comparison: a single gauge-invariant relational (Dirac) observable has one invariant prediction, its perspectival representations intertwined by a frame-change map (case A); distinct relational observables form a relationally consistent web (case B); and where two frames share no common refinement their claims are declared incomparable (case C). "Objective" means invariance of the physical predictions under the declared symmetry group and the frame-change groupoid over the admissible frame family, to a declared tolerance — never frame-independence in an absolute sense. The flagship R-A is a dynamics-independent kinematic existence witness: a finite-dimensional discrete-ring model exhibits one physical state and two admissible ideal QRFs under which the localization profile and the entanglement structure differ — a sharp product relative to one particle; an entangled state with a delocalized, mixed marginal relative to another — while the distribution of the same relational observable is preserved. R-B splits into a domain covariance on shared refinements (ideal QRFs compose and agree on shared Dirac predictions) and a model-dependent global-perspective obstruction: where a globally valid relational gauge-fixing fails, as in known Gribov-type models (Vanrietvelde, Höhn, & Giacomini, 2023), no single perspective covers the whole physical state space — which is neither the same as, nor a consequence of, the absence of a privileged frame, and does not preclude a perspective-neutral description. R-C places Paper 8's relational time as the time-translation special case, with its finite-resolution-clock, conditional-covariance, and record–clock qualifications, separating the retired claim (no global clock) from the deferred one (relativistic foliation with dynamical geometry). R-D identifies and transports the frame-representable localization sector of certain Paper-30 grains, partially discharging that paper's grain-coherence deferral while leaving interaction, fragmentation, redundancy, and history-family structure grain-relative. This completes the trilogy's dismantling of the Global Bookkeeper while keeping geometry fixed: the quantum-mechanics–gravity interface is prepared, not entered. Localization is frame-relative but objective: no absolute frame, no globally gauge-fixed perspective claimed beyond what models establish, and no anarchy. ALAC Paper 31. Quantum Darwinism explains effective classical objectivity through the selective proliferation of information about preferred quantum states into multiple environmental fragments. Its mature formulations operate within quantum theory, using a system-environment decomposition, decoherence or einselection, and information-theoretic or broadcast-structure criteria for redundant accessibility. This paper asks an upstream question from Registration Theory (RT): what makes a physical distinction a record before that record is described as information available to an observer? Canonical RT answers that retained registration is persistent organization constraining later evolution, that a distinction becomes a physical record only when it remains consequential, and that persistent physical organization is prior to information extracted from it.The paper assembles a theorem-backed finite-model chain now available in the RT corpus. Canonical ACRF dynamics supplies write-retain-read consequential history. The exact finite-amplitude ACRF-4 quotient identifies a nine-dimensional host-host-boundary state. The certified consequence-minimality theorem (DOI 10.6084/m9.figshare.34063464) shows that the retained relational boundary contributes irreducible future-consequence directions. The spectrum-preserving ACRF-8 redundant-record theorem (DOI 10.6084/m9.figshare.34063500) then proves an explicit local witness in which one quotient-valid source distinction is written into two disjoint retained fragments that are locally recoverable, counterfactually separable, and independently readable, giving RRT(q)≥2 under the stated criteria. The resulting distinction from Quantum Darwinism is precise but bounded. RT recordhood is consequence-based, while Darwinian objectivity is an accessibility-and-redundancy criterion formulated within quantum theory. The ACRF witness demonstrates redundant retained record formation without assuming Hilbert space, density operators, mutual information, decoherence, einselection, Born probabilities, or an observer-defined environment. Therefore, multiple persistent records of one distinction are not definitionally identical to Quantum-Darwinian redundancy. The paper does not claim that Quantum Darwinism is false or that RT has derived quantum mechanics, decoherence, Born probabilities, a mutual-information redundancy plateau, or macroscopic objectivity. Instead, it proposes a disciplined hierarchy: consequential distinction → retention → persistent record → branching → redundant retained records → redundant accessibility → environmental objectivity. The final two steps remain open in RT. A future bridge must dynamically select and scale multi-host redundancy and map consequence-bearing RT records into quantum environmental fragments that satisfy decoherence and strong objectivity conditions.
