The Admissibility of Natural Physics Part 1

Abstract

The Admissibility of Natural Physics, Part I begins where an admissibility-first reconstruction of single-system quantum mechanics ends. Its central question is not whether the familiar tensor-product formalism can be assumed, but whether any physical composition law can be derived without importing composite systems, global state spaces, entanglement, locality, or signalling as primitives. The book develops a disciplined reconstruction of binary quantum composition from operational and structural requirements. It first records the exact content and limitations of the inherited single-system closure, establishes dependency and non-circularity statutes, and introduces the possible object of natural physics only as a provisional target ledger rather than as an assumed ontology. It then examines joint preparation, product states and effects, marginal consistency, operational no-signalling, minimal and maximal probabilistic composites, local tomography, and the classification of admissible tensor-product representations. Particular attention is given to the distinction between a mathematical representation theorem and the uniqueness of a physical composition rule. Real, complex, quaternionic, Jordan-algebraic, minimal, maximal, restricted, and non-tomographic alternatives are compared under explicitly declared admissibility conditions. The complex Hilbert-space tensor product is recovered only on branches satisfying the required factorization, coherence, scalar, and operational closure conditions. Where several inequivalent composites survive, the result is a classified family rather than a falsely asserted uniqueness theorem. Entanglement is introduced only after composition has been commissioned. It is defined as the failure of an admitted joint state to belong to the convex closure of admitted product preparations. The analysis proves, within the resulting predictive grammar, that entanglement is a property of composite-state geometry, not an additional force, substance, interaction mechanism, or signalling channel. Throughout, the argument enforces quotient primacy, refinement stability, finite diagnostic closure, regeneration stability, explicit dependency receipts, local termination, and the possibility of Undefined as a legitimate scientific outcome. Part I therefore supplies neither a speculative ontology nor a presupposed many-world formalism. It provides a conditional classification theorem for binary physical composition and identifies precisely what remains to be established before interaction, repeated composition, particle identity, locality, fields, symmetries, and particle content may be addressed.

The Admissibility of Natural Physics Volume 2

Christoforos Panagis

The Admissibility of Natural Physics, Volume II extends the admissibility-first reconstruction from physical composition to interaction, open dynamics, identical carriers, exchange structure, and occupation grammar. It derives interaction as failure of commissioned factorization, complete positivity as stability under ancillary extension, and dilation only under explicitly admitted environmental structure. It then treats carrier identity as quotient equivalence, constructs permutation actions on repeated composites, classifies symmetric, antisymmetric, para, reducible, and projective exchange sectors, and determines the additional premises required for Fock-like occupation spaces. The resulting framework remains branch-valued: unique closure, classified family, missing premise, or (\Undefined). Bose, Fermi, braid, and para statistics are retained as conditional possibilities pending the derivation of regional topology and locality.

APF Paper 5 — Quantum Structure from Finite Enforceability

Ethan Brooke

Admissibility Physics — Quantum Structure from Finite Enforceability (Paper 5) This Zenodo community collects research outputs associated with Admissibility Physics, with primary focus on Paper 5 — Quantum Structure from Finite Enforceability and the derivation of quantum mechanics as an admissible representational regime. Paper 5 shows that the mathematical structure of quantum mechanics—Hilbert space, linearity, inner products, tensor products, unitary evolution, CPTP maps, and the Born rule—is not postulated, but forced by admissibility once coherent, jointly enforceable distinctions exist under finite correlation capacity. Quantum structure emerges as the unique bookkeeping required to represent interference, refinement, and recombination while preserving admissibility. The derivation does not assume probability, measurement postulates, dynamics, or spacetime geometry. Probability enters only as a secondary representation, with the Born rule arising uniquely from admissibility invariance and refinement consistency. Measurement is treated as a regime transition associated with saturation and record formation, not as a fundamental collapse mechanism. Quantum mechanics is shown to be conditionally valid: exact in regimes where coherence and non-saturation permit admissible composition, and structurally inapplicable where capacity is exhausted. Monogamy, entanglement limits, and decoherence follow from non-closure under composition and finite interface capacity, rather than from quantum axioms. All subsequent works in this community rely on the quantum-admissible representation established in Paper 5. Later papers show how variational dynamics and spacetime geometry arise as further conditional representations layered on top of quantum structure, and how quantum description itself fails at saturation boundaries, horizons, and measurement-like events. This community serves as a curated, citable archive centered on the derivation and limits of quantum structure within Admissibility Physics. Paper 5 functions as the representational keystone of the program: the point at which finite enforceability yields the quantum formalism without postulation. Core papers are frozen where noted; companion papers, mathematical appendices, figures, and computational artifacts document derivations, regime conditions, and testable consequences.

The Necessity of Natural Physics: Volume I

Christoforos Panagis

The Necessity of Natural Physics, Volume I asks a simple but demanding question: when separate physical systems are combined, which features of their joint description are truly unavoidable, and which belong only to familiar convention? Rather than assuming standard quantum mechanics from the outset, the book reconstructs the common structural ground of composite systems and then follows every serious surviving alternative—including classical, complex, real, quaternionic, Jordan-algebraic, generalized probabilistic, and non-tensor forms—until each is either excluded, identified with another, or left open for further physical testing. Existing physics therefore remains fully admissible, but it is no longer granted priority without proof. The aim is not to replace successful theory by speculation, but to determine whether nature could have been otherwise—and, if not, why not.

Tensor-Product Structure and Entanglement from Resolved History Factorization: The Composite-Record Factorization of Binary Mechanics

Adam Alexander Dick

This is Paper 005 in the Anaxiomatic Mechanics / pq-Spacetime stack. It develops the emergence of tensor-product structure and entanglement within Binary Mechanics. Building on the preceding treatment of effective Hilbert-space representation, it asks why composite quantum systems are represented by tensor products and why nonseparable, entangled states naturally appear. The central claim is that tensor products are not primitive assumptions. They arise when a finite binary-mechanical boundary problem can be decomposed into separately addressable boundary regions whose completion labels can be tracked independently. In that case, the joint completion structure is represented by the tensor product of the corresponding effective Hilbert spaces. Product states require a stronger condition: the underlying resolved graph histories and their phase counts must also factor across the chosen decomposition. Entanglement appears when completion labels remain separately addressable, but the underlying history ensemble does not factor. This non-factorization may be caused by cross-boundary graph structure, shared closure constraints, polarity consistency conditions, or other finite boundary restrictions. In this view, entanglement is the effective Hilbert-space expression of a shared finite history structure rather than a mysterious additional quantum postulate. The paper also distinguishes exact tensor products from physically effective tensor-product decompositions. Exact factorization is an ideal case; in physical applications, tensor-product structure is expected to hold when cross-boundary history constraints are negligible at the scale of description. The result is a finite, graph-history account of composite quantum structure: distinguishable completion channels give effective Hilbert bases, independently addressable labels give tensor-product spaces, factorizing histories give product states, and non-factorizing histories give entanglement.

Bilinear Composition and Tensor Minimality: A Structural Result under Linear Closure (IM-B004, v0.3)

Anders Nils Gunnar Widgren

This document is part of the Informational Mechanics (IM) framework and is published in the IM-B (Calculus & Admissibility) series. The paper establishes a domain-neutral structural result concerning bilinear composition under admissibility constraints. It shows that minimal linear closure under bilinear composition yields tensor-product structure via the universal mapping property, providing the minimal equivariant linear extension compatible with bilinearity and representation invariance. The analysis is purely mathematical and introduces no physical axioms, dynamics, interpretations, or empirical claims. It clarifies the structural conditions under which bilinear composition forces tensor-product form, and explicitly delimits what is not derived (e.g., no metric, inner-product, probabilistic, or geometric structure is presupposed). The result is intended for potential downstream use in IM-D (Core Physics) and IM-E (Measurement & Operators) documents where composite representation structure and operator-defined composition are formalized under declared scope and regime constraints. No claim is made that any specific physical system must satisfy the assumptions stated here.

APF Paper 5 Technical Supplement - Quantum Structure as Least-Cost Admissible Bookkeeping (v5.97)

Ethan Brooke

Technical Supplement to Paper 5 of the Admissibility Physics Framework (APF), Quantum Structure as Least-Cost Admissible Bookkeeping. v5.97 (April 2026), 157pp, 36 sections, 235 theorem-class environments, 59 bibitems. The supplement gives a finite-regime reconstruction of the Hilbert–Born formalism from APF's enforcement-substance primitives: complex Hilbert space, the Born trace rule, tensor products, CPTP dynamics, and measurement as record-locking, all derived rather than postulated. Headline result. The Hilbert–Born endpoint is licensed by a chain of finite, certifiable gates traceable to a single APF primitive — closed-world ledger conservation paired with no-phantom-records. The framework derives what canonical quantum-reconstruction programs (Hardy 2001; Chiribella–D'Ariano–Perinotti 2011; Masanes–Müller 2011; Barnum–Wilce 2014) postulate. Core spine (sections in order): Quantum Admissibility Condition (QAC) — produced at branch-(IJC) record-complete coherent interfaces; coherent continuations whose Boolean record-locking incurs strictly positive preservation distortion. Branch taxonomy Sepstr / Sepadm / IJCstr / IJCadm / IJCpres / Seppres with forced inclusions Sepadm ⇒ Sepstr, IJCstr ⇒ IJCadm, and explicit anti-conflation: capacity-only failure (Sepstr + IJCadm) is structurally classical and does NOT trigger QAC. Operational radical via no-phantom-record quotient — every element of the operational radical does no record-distinguishing work and is quotient-eliminable; a Wedderburn bridge identifies ϱop = Jac(𝒜) under stable-simple completeness. Finite matrix-sector representation — the faithful semisimple quotient enters a finite ⊕-of-matrix-blocks structure via Artin–Wedderburn applied to the closed-world quotient. Field selection by SPLIT closed-world composite gates — APF-complete composite closure decomposes into two independently-derivable conditions: (i) finite tensor closure (rules out ℍ structurally because Mn(ℍ) ⊗ℝ Mm(ℍ) ≅ M2nm(ℝ), not quaternionic), and (ii) finite tomographic locality (rules out ℝ via Wootters–Hardy local-marginal parameter count: 2×2 joint dimension 10 < locally-reconstructible 15). ℂ is the unique field passing both legs; the selection is a conjunction of independently-derivable conditions, not a single black-box axiom. Born trace rule ⟨E, ρ⟩ = Tr(ρE) — every positive linear functional on Mn(ℂ) is a density-matrix-and-effect pairing; trace-rule positivity is licensed by upstream cone-preservation. Gate-certified Hilbert–Born pipeline — composite meta-theorem: four gates (positivity preservation under quotient + closed-ledger reciprocity + operational-radical-equals-Jacobson + split closed-world complex selection) jointly license the H–B endpoint. Each gate is independently necessary; no single gate is redundant. If any gate fails, the framework stops at the corresponding fallback rather than silently importing quantum formalism. The derivation chain. The standard "regime gates" — reciprocal calibration → self-duality + adjoint, stable simple-record completeness, APF-complete finite composite closure → ℂ selection — are not independent postulates. They are joint consequences of closed-world ledger conservation + no-phantom-records: Tclosed-ledger reciprocity derives reciprocal calibration → adjoint from no-hidden-debt symmetric pairing B(p, m) = ∑ pi mi on a finite ledger; the adjoint is the swap partner under B, not a postulated involution. Tno-phantom-record quotient + Toperational-radical-equals-Jacobson derive stable simple-record completeness on 𝒜 = ℝ[x]/(x3), giving a quotient 𝒜/(x) ≅ ℝ that is semisimple and eligible for matrix-sector classification. Tsplit-closed-world-complex-selection derives ℂ-selection through the explicit split into tensor closure + tomographic locality. Six countermodels and red-team. Explicit countermodels for Weinberg non-linear quantum mechanics, real-amplitude QM, Bohmian mechanics, Kochen–Specker hidden variables, GRW/CSL collapse, quaternionic QM. Red-team analyses for the three paper-specific hypotheses (H1 coherent-distinction closure, H2 tensor-product admissibility, H3 spectral-action compatibility).

The Admissibility Physics Framework derives Standard Model and cosmological structure from a single primitive — finite enforcement capacity — through a chain of papers plus a machine-verifiable engine. Each paper has a main text and, where applicable, a Technical Supplement, deposited on Zenodo and collected in the admissibility_physics community; the canonical engine (APF-Engine v24.3.427, 3,918 bank-registered checks) backs every quantitative claim.
