Physics from Finite Validation: Classical Recovery and the Quantum Boundary

Abstract

From one requirement — that existence is mutual validation, and validation is transmitted in finite time — the classical sector is recovered: the Lorentz factor from interception geometry, gravitational time dilation without fitting, the full light deflection as a sum of two contributions rather than a fitted coefficient, and Mercury's perihelion by a composition law the data selected over its rival. Novelty lies in the grounding, not the numbers. The quantum sector is then developed from named premises rather than offered as an interpretation. Time is the counted distinction between a lock's two states, so the correlation entering any Bell test is a count, E = 1 − 2D − s; the Born value follows as D = sin²(θ/2), its square the half-angle of the projection that makes the correlation a cosine; and the indivisibility of the act yields complementarity, the Zeno effect, and the ineliminability — not the value — of single-shot randomness. The Tsirelson bound follows from one axiom we name and do not derive: the settings of a single undivided act are unconstrained unit vectors of a real inner-product space, not pointwise ±1 records carried apart. The parallelogram law is not the load, since a local hidden-variable model satisfies it too. The same axiom excludes Popescu–Rohrlich boxes, which no-signalling alone does not. Spin and statistics follow from the twist a closed mode's held ties can trap. A massless excitation, whose links are renewed at every step, holds none: the picture supplies no fermionic option for it, and forbids what standard theory permits. Undischarged and named: the vector axiom; the isomorphism on which the general Born rule depends; the three-dimensional soliton Finkelstein–Rubinstein requires. The predictions are given with their weakness stated — the picture fixes the form of its residuals and not their scale, so a null result tightens a bound rather than breaking the theory. All simulation code, including four withdrawn arguments, is openly available; the state accompanying this paper is archived at 10.5281/zenodo.21266573.

Quantum Mechanics Derived from GG-Theory as Projection from 6D Bulk to 4D Boundary

K. Arisaka

For a century, quantum mechanics has been the most accurately tested theory ever written — and the least understood. It predicts the electron's magnetism to one part in ten trillion, yet no one can quite say why a measurement yields a single definite result, why outcomes appear random, or why two particles far apart are correlated more tightly than any classical theory allows. This paper offers one reading of all three. The deeper description of Nature, we propose, is six-dimensional: ordinary spacetime plus two non-spatial geometric directions — a scale dimension, carrying the resolution at which a question is asked, and a phase dimension, carrying the gauge phase that locks matter to force. In that fuller geometry the underlying state is deterministic and constitutionally real, as Einstein hoped — with no complex phase for quantum chance to be written in; it is not, as Bell's theorem requires of any such theory, local. What a four-dimensional observer sees is its projection; every measurement is unavoidably an average over the two hidden directions — the averaging a century of physics has called collapse. Read this way, the century-old measurement problem becomes three precise questions, each answered by a theorem, and one further question — why outcomes fall in exactly the proportions Born's rule predicts — whose dynamical realization is closed at the relaxation level, as a stated conditional theorem, with one named analytic step remaining. We claim no new laboratory prediction where quantum mechanics already succeeds; we offer a picture in which its deepest strangeness is the shape of a shadow, and the dice — rolled in an imaginary unit made by the same projection — are thrown in two directions our senses can never turn to face. Part of the GG-Theory program, a series of preprints developing a six-dimensional geometric framework and its consequences for particle physics, cosmology, and open-system dynamics. APF Paper 14 — Quantum Mechanics from Beginning to End

Ethan Brooke

This paper tells the quantum-mechanical account of Admissibility Physics in one place, from the first declared fact to the last committed record. From a single finite-capacity axiom (A1) plus one declared occupancy fact, the story runs through the Δ calculus that prices jointness (Δ = ε(J − R), derived, with two fences: Δ is not an information functional, and Δ > 0 is not a quantum criterion); the separable / irreducibly-joint fork, decided by an exact Boole-polytope feasibility test; the Boolean-defender bridge that forces noncommutativity where the global Boolean section fails; the gate pipeline that earns complex Hilbert space and the finite Born trace rule as endpoint theorems rather than postulates; the correlation ladder from product states to Tsirelson, with a native family ceiling 2√2·102/103 carried at honest reading grade with a live falsifier; resolution as a class transition, with the free/spend/permanent triad proved as a composition of banked theorems and measurement, decoherence, the Page curve, and the Diósi–Penrose scale as four worked instances of one mechanism; and the arrow of time as the one-way ratchet of the admissibility floor — confinement, the second law, and the quantum as one axis read at graded strengths. Every load-bearing step is anchored to a named, machine-verified check function in the APF theorem bank; the grade of each step is stated where the step is made; and everything the story does not claim is stated in one place. The Technical Supplement (deposited alongside and linked from this record) is self-contained for this paper: every definition, proof, and grade the story rests on, in one document, with a worked end-to-end instance and a reproducibility appendix pinning the theorem bank to a public repository and an archived release. About the series. Admissibility Physics is a structural realist reconstruction program built on a single commitment: any bounded region of the world can hold only finitely many distinctions. A principle of least enforcement cost then selects, among all the ways those distinctions might be arranged, the configurations a finite world can sustain. From this the content of physics is reconstructed rather than postulated: the Standard Model's gauge group and matter content, the Hilbert-space and Born-rule architecture of quantum mechanics, the geometry and field equations of general relativity, the four laws of thermodynamics, and the large-scale budget of cosmology emerge as different readings of one finite-capacity ledger. The unification is quantitative as well as conceptual: the framework's dimensionless constants appear not as free parameters but as counts read off that ledger — among them the dark-energy fraction ΩΛ = 42/61 and the weak mixing angle sin2θW = 3/13 — fixed, in the strongest cases, to within current measurement. The core derivation runs Papers 0–11; the extension papers carry the individual sectors. Each paper's main text and Technical Supplement is deposited separately; every quantitative claim traces to a named, executable check in the public theorem bank (over 3,800 bank-registered theorems, 48 quantitative predictions); and each result is carried at an explicit, graded level of confidence — from analytically forced to structurally grounded — with the measurements that would refute it named. Admissibility Physics is offered as a candidate, not a finished theory. If the program holds, the laws of physics could not have been otherwise: they are what a finite world permits. APF Paper 14 — Quantum Mechanics from Beginning to End — Technical Supplement

Ethan Brooke

This is the Technical Supplement — the proof-dense companion and the canonical formal record for the paper's claims. The main paper argues; the supplement proves. Every load-bearing claim traces to a named check function in the APF verification engine, and the supplement is the document a referee should audit first. The supplement is self-contained for Paper 14: every definition, proof, and grade the paper rests on appears in this one document — the substrate primitives and the marginal admissibility floor, proved; the locality and cost-uniqueness lemmas; the Δ calculus with both fences' witnesses written out; the Boolean-defender bridge with its five certified physical hypotheses and the 3-4-5 worked witness computed on the page; the gate pipeline with a gate-by-axiom comparison to the operational-reconstruction literature (Hardy; Chiribella–D'Ariano–Perinotti; Masanes–Müller; Barnum–Wilce; Spekkens; Abramsky–Brandenburger); the native correlation family constructed explicitly, rung by rung; the resolution triad set against standard thermodynamics (Landauer, erasure, environment-assisted recovery); a consolidated readings register listing every claim below [P] with its falsifier and status; a glossary mapping the framework's vocabulary onto standard quantum-information terms; and a worked end-to-end instance — device to interrogation normal form to exact feasibility certificate to priced ledger, with every tolerance explicit. A reproducibility appendix pins every claim to the APF theorem bank at a named GitHub commit and the archived Engine release (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.18529115); the certificates reproduce deterministically in exact rational arithmetic. Topological–Historical Quantum Mechanics: A Three-Axiom Reconstruction from Finite Particles and Their Causal Histories

Kianming(Jianming) Wang

We reconstruct nonrelativistic quantum mechanics from exactly three physical axioms: microscopic ontic definiteness and finite localization, physical reality of the spacetime-vacuum substrate, and persistent causal source–response coupling. The single-run physical state is a finite topological core, its actual causal history, the substrate state, its sector, and the associated historical disturbance. A wave function is not identified with that ontic tuple. It is a ray in a Hilbert representation of admissible preparations and response amplitudes; a density operator is a statistical or reduced representation; and a record is a stable macroscopic event. The logical construction is acyclic. Finite-energy sector spaces and their continuous symmetry representations lead, under explicit representation conditions, to a complex Hilbert direct sum. A closed semibounded quadratic form defines the Hamiltonian and its self-adjoint realization. The standard Schrödinger action, unitary propagation, probability current, spectral observables, uncertainty relations, composite-system tensor products, spin representations, exchange sectors, instruments, and completely positive open dynamics then follow on their declared domains. Gleason-type reasoning fixes the Born form only after additivity, noncontextuality, continuity, and preparation–detector calibration are stated. Those operational conditions are not hidden physical axioms. The distribution of unresolved ontic initial data that realizes quantum equilibrium remains a realization certificate, not a theorem of topology alone. The Heisenberg representation is derived as a controlled transport of observables after Hilbert space and the self-adjoint generator have been constructed. Strongly continuous time translation, two-parameter nonautonomous propagation, common-domain Heisenberg equations, spectral matrix mechanics, regular Weyl relations, open-system adjoints, and instrument effects are connected by one certificate. Schrödinger and Heisenberg predictions are proved equivalent for one-time and finite instrument records, while finite-core, historical, truncation, domain, and detector errors remain separately bounded. Three frozen matrix benchmarks verify low-energy oscillator truncation and its state-weighted CCR defect, second-order unitary convergence for a driven doublet, Schrödinger–Heisenberg equality for a sequential instrument, finite auxiliary-history truncation, and quadratic leakage scaling for a conditional Dirac–Pauli interface. Independent reproduction, including the extended-precision audit, is closed for the frozen packet; physical coefficient calibration remains open. The next interface connects an owner-resolved Dirac–Pauli Hamiltonian to spin records through a Ward-compatible vertex, a causal passive history kernel, an independently audited doublet projection, SPAM-aware forward probabilities, nuisance-profiled identifiability, and a noncompensatory coefficient-to-record error theorem. The DPHC identifiability coordinate is executed on a frozen synthetic response family. A single-scale design is rank deficient, whereas an eighteen-setting frequency–gradient–order–time design has full profiled rank, controlled conditioning, near-nominal finite-sample coverage, and a calibrated held-out statistic. A robust twenty-setting design raises the worst registered information eigenvalue by \(20.12\%\). A ten-parameter nonlinear audit exhibits an exact radiative–detector equivalence curve. An independent dark record breaks that symmetry and restores full local rank. Continuous-set robustness, validated global exclusion, and independent implementation are executed, while physical response identification and empirical calibration remain open. Measurement is treated as a dynamics of system, apparatus, environment, and actual history. Unitary premeasurement and decoherence select robust record sectors but do not by themselves select one record. The three-axiom ontology supplies one actual branch history, while a measurable response map from the complete initial state and instrument to the final record supplies the missing dynamical content. Bell correlations require contextual and nonfactorizable ontic response while parameter independence and operational no-signalling are retained; no controllable superluminal channel is introduced. Historical response produces causal non-Markov Hamiltonians and memory-kernel master equations. Their normalization, positivity, complete positivity, and energy ledger are derived from a unitary enlarged realization whenever such a dilation exists. Finite-core form factors and causal memory yield explicit departures from point-core Markov quantum mechanics. Standard quantum mechanics is recovered as the unresolved-core, sector-fixed, quantum-equilibrium, short-memory limit. Quantum field theory is retained as a successful local, spectral, and asymptotic calculus, but field operators, Fock vectors, and vacuum functionals remain effective representations until a noncircular map from finite carriers and their complete causal histories has been certified. The manuscript proves a sequence of previously open analytic, mathematical, measurement, topological, statistical, and computational obligations on explicitly declared domains. These include non-Markov diffusion, graph-norm stability, distorted-wave and pole variation, finite passive-memory realization, Fisher-information identifiability, detector pushforwards, unique-record basins, Born-representation bounds, measurement independence, topology–Dirac charge conjugation, Stern–Gerlach records, action-scale matching, rank-two spin projection, Finkelstein–Rubinstein topology, Clifford reconstruction, and parent-to-record realization maps. Eighteen groups of numerical obligations are executed on frozen reference models. They cover spectral and scattering calculations, oscillator and two-level dynamics, Schrödinger–Heisenberg equivalence, finite-history truncation, Dirac–Pauli and Foldy–Wouthuysen reduction, gauge covariance, interference, Bell and GHZ correlations, open-system memory, Stern–Gerlach records, identifiability, global searches, topological invariants, path products, semiclassical limits, partial-wave optical closure, the relativistic/QFT interface, and conservative-parent two-level dynamics. Every environment explicitly typed as a computational obligation now has an executed frozen-model certificate; empirical identification and separately typed experimental inputs remain open. The present manuscript differs so substantially from the earlier version in scope, logical architecture, proofs, and executable certificates that it is issued as a new upload rather than as a minor revision. Because the subject is both foundational and technically consequential, readers professionally engaged in quantum foundations, mathematical physics, quantum measurement, or related fields are encouraged to consult both versions: the earlier version preserves the developmental route, whereas the present version gives the substantially expanded and reorganized reconstruction. ## Keywords Axiomatic quantum mechanics; finite particle histories; retarded Green functions; Schrödinger equation; Dirac equation; Born rule; topological spin; quantum measurement; non-Markovian dynamics; classical limit.

Quantum theory from sealed records I: Born composition, Lorentz signature, and the arrow of time

Felix Robles Elvira

We present the foundational layer of a research program that derives quantum-mechanical, relativistic, and thermodynamic structure from a single ontology: a ledger of sealed records. The ledger is governed by three axioms: R, laws are laws of whole sealed histories; S, no distinction without a record; and C, couplings are fixed by self-consistency under refinement. The program builds on the stochastic-quantum correspondence of Barandes' indivisible processes, replacing configuration trajectories by committed records as the primitive. The main results, each at stated scope and with machine-verified receipts, are as follows. First, the Born layer: record weights compose through square roots, and tame-class reconstruction recovers the Weyl algebra and the Schrodinger representation, via Stone-von Neumann, from record towers, with ladder operators, selection rules, and exact continuum targets approached at machine precision. Second, Lorentz signature: the commitment structure of records forces a Lorentzian (1,d) split with derived orientation classes. The spatial dimension d = 3 is selected by a minimality principle graded as input in the text, not derived. The operational identification lapse = local clock rate is verified to 3.7 x 10^{-8} in curved record geometries as a model-internal consistency receipt, with first 3+1-dimensional cosmological checks presented qualitatively and no cosmological number claimed in this batch. Third, the arrow of time: reflection positivity is a theorem for eventless sectors with finite primitive Markov presentations, the entropy-production functional is the path-measure relative entropy sigma = D(P_AB || P_BA), the classical identity of stochastic thermodynamics in record-pair form, and the presentation hypothesis is sharp. An explicit reversible, valid, finite-rank process, the "record clock", fails reflection positivity, separating record laws from general reversible processes. Fourth, thermality: horizon temperature T = kappa / 2 pi is recovered in exact lattice constructions, presented in full in the companion horizon paper and cited here only as a consistency credential. We state precisely what is axiom, what is theorem, what is named identification, and what is imported mathematics; the full dependency audit is part of the paper. We also delimit the program's frontier: the tame class, the regularity stratum of the emergent continuum, and continuous sector families.

Quantum Records, Definite Outcomes, and the Born Rule from Finite Accessibility - The Measurement Completion of the Operational Framework

Paul Cooney

Papers I and II derived gravitational geometry and second-order dynamics from finite accessibility without invoking measurement, observation protocols, or collapse as primitive notions. This paper extends the operational program to the measurement sector, deriving the structure of record formation and probabilistic weights from the same finite accessibility and compositional constraints. Finite accessibility restricts admissible operations on a subsystem to a proper operator subalgebra. Because bounded certification excludes operators requiring nonlocal coordination or arbitrarily fine phase resolution, the accessible algebra is strictly smaller than the full operator algebra. When a system becomes correlated with orthogonal environment sectors, off-diagonal operators between those sectors fall outside the accessible algebra. The reduced state is therefore indistinguishable, under all admissible operations, from its diagonal ensemble. Definiteness emerges as an algebraic consequence of sector restriction, not as a collapse postulate. The weights of these sectors are fixed uniquely by compositional consistency. Phase invariance, multiplicativity under independent refinement, and stability under record coarse-graining constrain any admissible assignment of sector weights to satisfy a functional equation whose only continuous, non-contextual solution is quadratic in amplitude. The Born rule therefore arises as the unique invariant measure compatible with finite accessibility. Irreversibility follows from action scaling: reversal requires operators outside the admissible tensor algebra and incurs action cost proportional to the number of correlated subsystems. Since admissible operations are bounded by the action gap, macroscopic record reversal is excluded. Measurement introduces no new physical primitives beyond finite accessibility, locality, and compositional stability. Record formation, classical definiteness, and Born probabilities are structural consequences of algebraic restriction under finite accessibility. **This paper is part of the Finite Accessibility series, which reconstructs gravitational geometry, quantum dynamics, gauge structure, cosmological perturbation theory, and the dark sector from a single operational primitive: a finite certification ceiling ω* governing the maximum rate at which physical relations can be maintained across extended domains.** **Introductory papers** - Geometric Limits to Coherent Timekeeping in Extended Reference Frames — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18824556 - Accessibility Selection Law (ASL) — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18824649 - Phase Boundary Gravity — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18824707 **Pillars (numbered I–IV)** - Paper I: Deriving Gravitational Geometry and Schrödinger Dynamics from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18601600 - Paper II: Deriving Inertia, Motion, and Wave Propagation from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18625174 - Paper III: Accessible State Spaces, Record Stability, and the Emergence of Quantum Statistics — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18625192 - Paper IV: Frame Dissolution, the Certification Ceiling, and Observable Deformations — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18654458 **Extension papers** - Dark Matter from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18654433 - Dark Energy from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18654523 - No-Go Theorems and the Admissibility Corridor — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18654493 - Gauge Structure from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18928152 - Perturbation Theory from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18928213 **Experimental paper** - Experimental Probes of Finite Accessibility: GW Dispersion and Vacuum Path Independence — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18931126 **Keywords:** Born rule derivation, measurement problem, quantum statistics, finite accessibility, operator subalgebra, record formation, definiteness emergence, wave function collapse, compositional consistency, accessible state spaces, action gap, irreversibility, sector restriction, quantum foundations, algebraic quantum mechanics, decoherence

A robust twenty-setting design raises the worst registered information eigenvalue by 20.12%20.12\%20.12%.
