Abstract

Six quantum circuit experiments performed on ibm_marrakesh (IBM Quantum, 156 qubits, Heron R2 architecture) are reported, designed to test boundary signatures of the ER=EPR conjecture within the AdS₂/JT gravity framework, with the Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev (SYK) model as the holographic dual of the black hole horizon. The experiments were executed iteratively: each result raised new questions that directly motivated the next protocol. In order of execution they implement: tripartite entanglement certification via the Mermin operator (|⟨M⟩| = 3.885); a traversable wormhole baseline using a Bell-pair thermofield double (F(g=π/2) = 1.000); black hole evaporation unitarity via the Hayden-Preskill protocol (F_rec = 0.9983, with the decoder reduced to zero two-qubit gates by the compiler); a corrected traversable wormhole using genuine SYK scrambling and exact Majorana coupling (F(g=0) = 0.020, F(g=π/2) = 0.953, GJW gain = 0.933); quantum chaos via out-of-time-order correlators (λ_L = 1.975 ± 0.294, 54.8% of the Maldacena-Shenker-Stanford bound); and black hole entropy under information absorption, where the hardware reproduces the entropy growth S(t) of SYK formation on top of a noise floor and the energy response to Alice’s input (correlation 0.998 with simulation), while the predicted area growth consistent with the Bekenstein law is obtained in simulation but is not resolved above noise on hardware. Total QPU time across all experiments: 7 minutes 2 seconds. Five of the six experiments reproduce the boundary predictions of the ER=EPR framework on hardware; the sixth reproduces them in simulation and only partially on hardware. Version 3 corrects Experiments 2 and 3 following the original laboratory reports. Exp. 2 reports the raw F(g=π/2) = 1.01 ± 0.01 instead of the clipped 1.000. In Exp. 3 the fused U†U circuit is identity by construction; its fidelity (0.9983) is reported as a noise-floor control, not as hardware recovery. The hardware scrambling result (F_scr = 0.530 vs. 0.532 in simulation) is kept; recovery is demonstrated in simulation. Experiments 2b, 5 and 6 are unchanged. Quantum Processor Simulates Traversable Wormhole, Confirming ER=EPR Transport — E8 Intelligence Research

Andrew Stewart Caldin

FINDING: Traversable wormholes are realized as quantum-information protocols — the 2022 Google/Caltech experiment simulated a traversable wormhole on a quantum processor, transmitting a qubit through a holographic dual, confirming ER=EPR as an operational transport channel. MATH: Core relations: - ER=EPR duality: Einstein-Rosen bridge ≡ Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen entanglement. Wormhole connectivity ↔ entanglement entropy S = -Tr(ρ ln ρ). - Traversable condition (Gao-Jafferis-Wall): coupling two CFT boundaries via double-trace deformation δS = ∫ d^d x h_{ij} T^{ij}_L T^{ij}_R opens the throat; requires ANEC violation: ∫ T_{μν} k^μ k^ν dλ < 0. - Multi-mouth (arXiv:2012.07821): three-mouth wormhole has fundamental group F₂ (free group on 2 generators), i.e., π₁ = ⟨a,b | ∅⟩ — topology of a 3-punctured sphere × time. - SYK model: N Majorana fermions, coupling J, scrambling time t_* ~ (β/2π) ln N. Wormhole signal ∝ N^{-1} at early times, grows as e^{2πt/β} until t_*. - Quantum teleportation fi Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK. The SYK TENSOR Quantum Information Network (QIN): Resolution of the Black Hole Information Paradox via Traversable Wormhole Teleportation in a Finite, Maximally Chaotic Qubit Substrate with Holographic Error Correction and Soft Regulated UV Finiteness (Empirically Validated with Exact Toy Model Perfection and Large Scale Statistics)

Stanley Preschutti

This paper establishes the SYK TENSOR Quantum Information Network (QIN) as acomplete, finite, and empirically validated resolution of the black hole information paradoxwithin a broader framework of emergent quantum gravity. Reality emerges from a discrete, finite capacity substrate of maximally chaotic Majorana qubits governed by random all toall SYK interactions, stabilized by holographic tensor network error correction, and softlyregulated with Gaussian form factors to bound UV entanglement variance (stability coefficient γ ≈ 1.0–1.2). Large scale numerical experiments (N = 8–64 qubits, Hilbert dimensionup to 232) and exact small system validations confirm four sharp, falsifiable predictions withrefined precision: (1) maximal chaos scrambling (Lyapunov exponent λL = 0.85 ± 0.12,validated 0.666–1.05 across disorder), (2) holographic bulk reconstruction (Ryu-Takayanagicorrelation ρ = 0.68±0.12), (3) information preservation via traversable wormhole teleportation (mean fidelity F = 0.457±0.142, up to perfect F = 1.0000 in exact toy models, 6.438.2× classical advantage, paired t-test p ≪ 10−12), and (4) emergent gravity scaling (stronganticorrelation r = −0.9348 to −0.94 between λL and effective Geff = 1/λL). An exactOTOC derivation through Jackiw-Teitelboim (JT) gravity duality, unitary Page curve reproduction, bounded variance in regulated entanglement entropy, and rigorous mathematicalconsistency establish the framework. The traversable wormhole protocol demonstrates universal information recovery despite scrambling, resolving the paradox at the pre-geometriclevel without continuum assumptions, extra dimensions, or supersymmetry. Pathways fornear term quantum hardware verification (N > 100 logical qubits) are provided.

A Quantitative Examination of the Correspondence Between Spacetime Connectivity and Quantum Entanglement

HI-AI

[This is a creative exploration of a concept with AI -it should not be taken as correct mathematics.] We present a detailed examination of the conjectured correspondence between Einstein-Rosen (ER) bridges and Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) entanglement, denoted as ER=EPR. This examination concentrates on the quantitative structures and derivations supporting this correspondence, primarily within the setting of the Anti-de Sitter/Conformal Field Theory (AdS/CFT) duality. We analyze the realization of this correspondence in the eternal black hole geometry and its dual Thermofield Double (TFD) state. A complete exposition of the holographic entanglement entropy prescriptions is provided, including the derivation of the Quantum Extremal Surface (QES) prescription via the Lewkowycz-Maldacena argument concerning the gravitational path integral and conical singularities, and the subsequent derivation of the Jafferis-Lewkowycz-Maldacena-Suh (JLMS) relation establishing the equality of bulk and boundary relative entropies. We investigate the relationship between the temporal evolution of the spacetime geometry, characterized by the growth of the Einstein-Rosen bridge, and the evolution of quantum complexity. A complete derivation of the maximal volume growth rate is provided, carefully analyzing the geometry inside the horizon. Furthermore, a complete derivation of the action growth rate, supporting the Complexity=Action conjecture, is provided, clarifying the precise contribution of bulk, boundary, and joint terms in the gravitational action according to the definitions established by Lehner et al. for manifolds with null boundaries. The correspondence is extended to typical entangled states, characterized by Einstein-Rosen caterpillars. We derive the effective Hamiltonian governing the ensemble average of the generating random circuits and establish the quantitative relationship between the geometric length of the wormhole and the measure of quantum randomness (k-designs), utilizing the results of Magán, Sasieta, and Swingle. The role of QES and the derivation of the Page curve via replica wormholes are analyzed, detailing the calculations in Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity theories following Penington et al. Mechanisms for rendering wormholes traversable via boundary interactions (Gao-Jafferis-Wall construction) and operational interpretations based on Local Operationsand Classical Communication protocols are also discussed, emphasizing the quantitative consistency of these interconnected concepts.

Information retrieval from Hawking radiation in the non-isometric model of black hole interior: Theory and quantum simulation

Ran Li, Xuanhua Wang, Kun Zhang +1 more

The nonisometric holographic model of the black hole interior stands out as a potential resolution of the long-standing black hole information puzzle since it remedies the friction between the effective calculation and the microscopic description. In this study, combining the final-state projection model, the nonisometric model of black hole interior, and Hayden-Preskill thought experiment, we investigate the information recovery from decoding Hawking radiation and demonstrate the emergence of the Page time in this setup. We incorporate the effective modes into the scrambling inside the horizon, which are usually disregarded in Hayden-Preskill protocols, and show that the Page time can be identified as the transition of information transmission channels from the EPR projection to the local projections. This offers a new perspective on the Page time. We compute the decoupling condition under which retrieving information is feasible and show that this model computes the black hole entropy consistent with the quantum extremal surface calculation. Assuming the full knowledge of the dynamics of the black hole interior, we show how Yoshida-Kitaev decoding strategy can be employed in the modified Hayden-Preskill protocol. Furthermore, we perform experimental tests of both probabilistic and Grover’s search decoding strategies on the seven-qubit IBM quantum processors to validate our analytical findings and confirm the feasibility of retrieving information in the nonisometric model. This study would stimulate more interest to explore black hole information problem on the quantum processors. Published by the American Physical Society 2024

Quantum simulation of traversable-wormhole-inspired quantum teleportation in a chaotic binary sparse SYK model

Moongul Byun, Hyeonsoo Lee, Keun-Young Kim

We report the experimental signature of holographically motivated quantum teleportation on a quantum processor, driven by the highly entangled, chaotic dynamics of a many-body system. Specifically, we implement the traversable-wormhole (TW) protocol utilizing a \textit{chaotic} binary sparse $N = 8$ Sachdev--Ye--Kitaev (SYK) model. This optimized approach dramatically reduces circuit depth for noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) hardware while rigorously preserving the spectral chaos required for gravitational duality. Diagnosing the teleportation signal via mutual information, we find that while inherent noise in NISQ hardware precludes perfect quantitative agreement with exact numerical simulations, our experimental results provide evidence for the essential qualitative signature: a sign-dependent asymmetry. This work establishes a practical framework for holographic quantum simulations, offering a novel empirical testbed for exploring holographic quantum gravity.
