Phase Primacy over Spacetime Connectivity: A Relational Alternative to Entanglement-Emergence

Abstract

Phase-Mediated Attractor Dynamics (PMAD) advances a Phase-First Ontology in which relative phase structure, rather than spatial adjacency, constitutes the fundamental organizing principle of physical reality. Contrary to prevailing entanglement-emergence programs associated with ER=EPR, PMAD argues that metric distance, spacetime geometry, and quantum probabilities are emergent coarse-grained projections of a deeper non-equilibrium phase manifold. The fundamental relational object is the long-time phase-overlap functional\[\langle e^{i(\phi_i-\phi_j)}\rangle_T,\]from which effective geometry, correlation structure, and observer-accessible physical regularities arise. Grounded in four axioms—Phase Primacy, Attractor Determinism, Stability over Symmetry, and Ubiquitous Resonance—PMAD replaces static ontologies of objects embedded within spacetime with a driven many-body ontology organized by attractor stability. Physical proximity becomes derivative of phase synchronization, while apparent locality emerges from attractor-mediated propagation constraints. The framework further operationalizes Ontic Structural Realism by specifying the concrete dynamical relation underlying physical structure and resolves the observer ambiguity of Relational Quantum Mechanics by defining observers as embedded diagnostic probes stabilized within local attractor basins. Cross-scale applications spanning Floquet quantum hardware, solar plasma dynamics, coronal EUV variability, and astrophysical time-series analysis suggest that identical phase-organizing principles govern systems traditionally treated as ontologically distinct. The resulting picture is one in which spacetime is not the substrate of reality but an emergent bookkeeping device arising from stable phase-dynamical organization. Reality is reinterpreted not as matter occupying a pre-existing arena, but as a single driven relational process whose apparent geometry is the observable residue of attractor structure.

Relational Primacy and the Emergence of Spacetime Distinction, Causal Order, Dimensionality, and an Invariant Exchange Constraint

Barry Kieran Radcliffe

This paper develops the Relational Lens proposal that relationship is primary and that objects, scale, space, time, and spacetime geometry emerge secondarily from patterns of relational distinction and exchange. Quantum entanglement and superposition provide the conceptual motivation: distinguishable states remain participants in a shared non-separable whole, suggesting a boundary between distinction and non-distinction rather than fundamentally independent objects embedded in pre-existing spacetime. Coordinate-free exchange models are used to test whether localized identity, relational distance, duration, and reconstructible geometry can arise without assigned spatial coordinates, physical clock units, geometric dimensions, or an external length scale. The models produce persistent relational groups, an operational distance metric based on reciprocal first-arrival exchange counts, internal event-count duration, and compatible geometry reconstructed by embedded observers. The paper then extends the framework beyond the original exchange construction. Physical distinction is defined as persistent inequivalence of relational histories rather than as a supplied label, while causal order is derived from inheritance of relational information rather than from a privileged global clock. A conditional invariant exchange structure is developed in which localized proper-time persistence and normalized propagation satisfy \(L^2 + P^2 = 1\) when all embedded observers reconstruct the same finite causal propagation boundary. A further dimensional argument proposes that three spatial dimensions are uniquely selected if elementary causal exchange histories are one-dimensional and persistent relationship requires both generic nonintersection and topologically protected pairwise linking of closed exchange cycles. Alexander duality then yields \(d=3\), supported by numerical checks using Hopf linking in three dimensions and unlinking through a fourth spatial dimension. Taken together, the paper presents a unified relational program in which distinction, causal order, spatial separation, temporal duration, dimensionality, and relativistic structure are treated as emergent consequences of exchange rather than as fundamental background assumptions.

Coherent Relational Stability and the Emergence of Physical Reality A Spectral Transport Theory of Quantum Structure, Gauge Geometry, Gravitation, and Emergent Constants

Borros Arneth

We develop a pregeometric framework in which quantum mechanics, gauge structure, gravitation, matter, and spacetime emerge from the stability dynamics of coherent relational transport organization. Rather than assuming spacetime manifolds, Hilbert spaces, or gauge symmetries as fundamental, the theory begins from a primitive causal-relational substrate consisting only of composable transport relations. A generalized spectral transport operator is introduced to represent coherent relational dynamics. Stable eigensectors of generate effective particles, locality, gauge structure, and geometry. Physical organization is governed by a generalized relational stability functional whose extrema define dynamically persistent coherent structures. Quantum mechanics emerges from coherent compositional consistency, gauge symmetry emerges as redundancy of transport representation, and spacetime geometry emerges statistically through spectral localization, thermodynamic projection, and relational distinguishability stabilization. The framework therefore proposes that physical reality is fundamentally not a collection of objects evolving inside spacetime, but a self-stabilizing process of coherent relational spectral organization from which matter, fields, and spacetime itself emerge

Pre-Einsteinian Coherent Relational Dynamics A Pre-Geometric Framework for the Emergence of Quantum Theory, Gauge Structure, Probability, Matter, Spacetime, Gravitation, and Physical Constants from Stability-Selected Transport Organization

Borros Arneth

We develop a pregeometric reconstruction framework in which quantum mechanics, gauge symmetry, probabilistic structure, matter, Lorentzian spacetime geometry, gravitation, and physical constants emerge from recursively stabilized coherent relational transport organization. The framework begins from a primitive causal-relational substrate consisting only of fluctuating accessibility relations and compositional transport structure. No background spacetime manifold, metric geometry, particle ontology, or external temporal parameter is assumed fundamentally. The theory further proposes that the preconditions underlying Einsteinian physics must already exist at the pre-geometric level as deeper relational consistency principles. Lorentz invariance, causal structure, covariance, conservation laws, and gravitational equivalence are interpreted as emergent macroscopic expressions of more primitive coherent accessibility constraints. A generalized spectral transport operator governs coherent relational evolution and generates stable eigensectors corresponding to persistent physical structure. Quantum mechanics emerges from coherent compositional consistency and norm-preserving recursive transport flow. Gauge symmetry emerges as local redundancy of coherent transport representation. Classical mechanics emerges through stationary coherent transport stabilization. A reconstruction of the Born rule is proposed in which quadratic probability amplitudes arise from multiplicative persistence consistency under independent coherent composition. Lorentzian spacetime geometry emerges statistically from stabilized causal accessibility organization, while gravitation emerges thermodynamically as equilibrium relaxation of coherent accessibility geometry. The framework further proposes that physical constants correspond to frozen stability invariants selected during primordial coherent transport evolution. In particular, the fine-structure constant is interpreted as a stable surviving coherent phase-accessibility ratio associated with recursive phase closure. The theory therefore attempts not merely to reproduce known equations, but to explain why physical reality universally organizes itself through Hilbert structure, gauge redundancy, localization, Lorentzian geometry, and thermodynamic gravitational dynamics. In particular, the framework proposes that Einsteinian spacetime physics emerges from deeper pre-Einsteinian coherent relational conditions governing recursive transport accessibility before spacetime itself exists.

Emergent Time from Quantum Phase, A Relational Interpretation Based on Phase Accumulation and Synchronization

Roberto Carlos Moleirinho Batista

Abstract The physical status of time remains one of the most persistent open questions in fundamental physics. In quantum mechanics, time appears as an external parameter governing evolution but not as an observable, while in general relativity it is embedded in the geometric structure of spacetime and becomes observer-dependent. Despite their empirical success, neither framework explains the physical origin of time or its singular role among fundamental quantities. In this work, we propose an emergent interpretation of physical time grounded in quantum phase. Phase is treated as a pre-temporal structural feature of quantum systems, rather than as a quantity defined with respect to an underlying temporal parameter. Energy is interpreted as a relational characterisation of regularities in phase structure, and proper time emerges only in contexts where phase accumulation can be compared and synchronised between interacting systems. An isolated quantum system may possess phase, but it does not possess physical time in the operational sense; time arises only through relational compatibility. This approach does not introduce new fundamental dynamics nor posit a physical mechanism responsible for the generation of time. Instead, it establishes an ontological hierarchy in which phase is fundamental, energy is relational, and time is a phenomenological quantity that emerges from stable conditions of synchronisation. Within this framework, classical reality corresponds to domains of temporal compatibility, while loss of compatibility underlies the emergence of horizons and geometric structure. By reframing time as an emergent relational phenomenon rooted in quantum phase, this work provides a coherent interpretative framework in which the absence of a time operator in quantum mechanics and the difficulty of quantising time and gravity are understood as consequences of their non-fundamental status, rather than as shortcomings of existing formalisms.

Coherent Projection Dynamics A Pre-Geometric Reconstruction Framework for Quantum Theory, Entanglement, Gauge Structure, Spacetime, Gravitation, and Physical Constants

Borros Arneth

We develop a pre-geometric reconstruction framework in which quantum mechanics, entanglement structure, gauge symmetry, locality, Lorentzian spacetime geometry, gravitation, and physical constants emerge from recursively stabilized coherent Hilbert-relational organization. The framework begins from a primitive coherent substrate consisting of compositional accessibility relations and complex transport amplitudes. No background spacetime manifold, metric geometry, or particle ontology is assumed fundamentally. The central proposal is that coherent Hilbert structure is more fundamental than spacetime geometry. Observable spacetime emerges through projection stabilization: a physical stability-selection mechanism dynamically selecting recursively stable coherent sectors from deeper relational structure. Quantum mechanics emerges from norm-preserving coherent transport. Entanglement emerges from nonfactorizable relational closure. Gauge symmetry emerges as redundancy of coherent transport representation. Classicality emerges through decoherence and stability selection. Lorentzian geometry emerges statistically from projected accessibility organization. Gravitation emerges thermodynamically as equilibrium relaxation of projected geometry. The framework is presented not as a completed unified theory, but as a reconstruction program aimed at explaining why physical reality organizes itself through Hilbert structure, gauge redundancy, locality, spacetime geometry, and thermodynamic gravitational dynamics.
