Physics of Difference IX: Collective Evaluation under Accessibility-Constrained Non-Factorizable Persistence

Abstract

The present work investigates collective evaluation under accessibility-constrained non-factorizable latent distinction persistence. Previous PoD analyses established that distinct transformation pathways may remain compositionally distinguishable despite sharing identical reduced endpoint representation [5]. The present work investigates the structural consequences that arise once such latent distinctions remain globally persistent beyond local recoverability. The analysis begins from the observation that transformation distinction persistence may become distributed across focal structures, interacting structures, interaction consequences, and subsequent compositional organization. Under such conditions, globally persistent distinction structure no longer factorizes completely into independently reconstructible local sectors. The present framework therefore investigates situations in which: latent distinction persistence remains non-factorizable, only reduced sectors remain operationally accessible, and no accessibility-compatible reconstruction remains available. Under these conditions, independently recoverable transformation structure ceases to remain locally closed. Independently decomposed evaluation consequently becomes structurally incomplete. To investigate the resulting collectively dependent structure, the present work introduces a collectively dependent evaluation hierarchy: where independent evaluation appears as the lowest-order approximation and jointly dependent corrections emerge progressively at higher orders. Within this hierarchy, pairwise quadratic organization appears naturally as the leading nontrivial collectively dependent approximation, while higher-order jointly dependent structures remain structurally admissible whenever multiple transformation pathways remain jointly influential simultaneously. The resulting framework establishes the following structural progression: non-factorizable persistencerecoverability collapsecollective evaluationcollectively dependent hierarchy The present analysis further clarifies the structural relation between the current framework and existing approaches including decoherence, consistent histories, and generalized probabilistic frameworks. In particular, the present work investigates recoverability collapse prior to probabilistic assignment itself, thereby suggesting that probability-like collective organization may emerge from accessibility-constrained distributed latent distinction persistence rather than from primitive stochastic assumptions.

Physics of Difference VIII: Necessity of Additive Representation under Reduction Obstruction

Yasuaki Tamura

The present work investigates the representational consequences of realization-dependent accessibility organization under globally incomplete endpoint reduction. The preceding papers of the Physics of Difference series established that admissible realizations connecting identical endpoint accessibility relations may nevertheless remain compositionally distinguishable within realization organization itself. In particular, realization-dependent distinctions may remain globally persistent whenever endpoint reduction fails to extend to a globally compatible compositional reduction structure.Under such conditions, endpoint accessibility relations no longer provide a structurally complete representation of realization organization. The present analysis therefore investigates what representational organization becomes necessary once realization multiplicity remains irreducible under endpoint accessibility reduction. The analysis shows that any representation framework preserving realization organization faithfully must simultaneously support realization distinguishability, compositional compatibility, multiplicity-preserving aggregation, decomposability, and recombinational stability. These constraints naturally motivate additive decomposable representation.Importantly, additive representation is not introduced as an independent quantum-theoretic postulate. Rather, it emerges structurally as a multiplicity-preserving response to reduction obstruction itself. The resulting framework admits several quantum-like organizational features. In particular, realization composition induces residual compositional organization, manifest accessibility restriction generates projection-like representational structure, and compatibility-preserving aggregation admits naturally emerging quadratic organizational forms. At the same time, the framework remains intentionally weaker than conventional quantum mechanics. The present analysis does not assume or derive Hilbert-space structure, Schrödinger dynamics, unitary evolution, or Born-rule probability interpretation. The framework should therefore be interpreted not as a reconstruction of quantum mechanics itself, but as the identification of minimal representational conditions under which quantum-like organizational structure begins to emerge from irreducible realization multiplicity under compositional accessibility organization.

Physics of Difference I: Minimal Structure of Physical Description

Yasuaki Tamura

Abstract We investigate the minimal structural conditions under which representational accessibility and irreversibility-like asymmetry arise in physical description. Starting solely from the existence of distinguishable states and a class of admissible transformations, we analyze how accessibility of distinctions changes under non-injective representational updates without introducing prior notions of space, time, probability, measurement, or thermodynamic structure.Admissible non-injective transformations naturally induce equivalence relations on the state space, leading to a distinction between manifest difference, corresponding to representationally accessible distinctions, and latent difference, corresponding to distinctions that remain structurally present but inaccessible within a given representation. We show that accessibility and recoverability of distinctions are determined intrinsically by the admissible transformation structure itself rather than by externally imposed observational limitations or representational scales.A central result of the framework is that irreversibility-like asymmetry arises when latent distinctions become non-recoverable within the admissible transformation class. In this perspective, irreversibility-like behavior is interpreted not as a consequence of probabilistic uncertainty or thermodynamic entropy increase, but as a structural restriction on recoverability of representational accessibility. The present work does not introduce new mathematical constructions. Rather, it provides a conceptual reinterpretation of equivalence structures, representational accessibility, and recoverability within a minimal framework of physical description. This framework identifies structural preconditions for accessibility restriction and recoverability failure prior to the introduction of statistical, thermodynamic, or observer-dependent assumptions.

Physics of Difference II: Comparison Structure and the Emergence of Topology

Yasuaki Tamura

AbstractWe investigate the minimal structural conditions under which relational accessibility organization admits a topological representation within physical description. Starting solely from the existence of distinguishable states and admissible comparison relations, we analyze how accessibility structures arise without introducing prior notions of space, geometry, metric structure, probability, or dynamics.Within the present framework, comparison between states is interpreted as a structural relation governing the accessibility of distinctions. The consistency requirements imposed on admissible comparisons induce preorder-like relational organization on the state space. We show that such comparison-induced accessibility structures admit neighborhood-like representations and may be organized in a form compatible with topological description.Importantly, the present framework does not interpret topology as a primitive geometric entity. Rather, topological structure is treated as a mathematical representation of relational accessibility induced by admissible comparison structure. In this perspective, neighborhood relations characterize accessibility coherence among distinguishable states rather than spatial proximity in a preexisting geometric manifold. We further show that equivalence structures associated with comparison naturally introduce classes of states that are indistinguishable within a given accessibility framework while remaining structurally distinct in the underlying state space. This provides a relational interpretation of local accessibility organization without invoking observer-dependent notions or externally imposed representational scales. The present work does not introduce new mathematical constructions. Instead, it identifies structural conditions under which topological representation becomes compatible with a minimal relational framework of physical description.

Distinction and Observation - How Reality Becomes Observable

Joshua Ross Gottlieb

This paper develops a mathematical framework for analyzing how physical distinctions becomeobservable through restricted measurement interfaces. Rather than taking objects or entities as primitive, the framework begins with a more basicnotion: distinguishability within a state space. Observers interact with systems throughrestricted measurement interfaces, which expose only a subset of the underlying distinctionstructure. We show how stable structure arises when distinctions remain persistently discriminableunder dynamical evolution and across observational interfaces. This leads naturally to the conceptsof stable sectors, object-like sectors, relational emergence, and consensus versus divergenceacross systems of apertures. The framework is compatible with operational approaches to physics and is particularlyclose in spirit to measurement-restricted distinguishability in quantum information theory. Itis intended as an exploratory mathematical program for studying observation, emergence, andshared structure in systems where measurement access may be restricted or dynamically evolving.

Reality: A Simulation That Is Not a Simulation Potentiality, Relational Structure, Distinction, and the Emergence of Corporeal Reality

Stanley Everett Sambey

Contemporary simulation arguments ordinarily begin from the possibility that sufficiently advancedagents could implement conscious worlds within an external computational substrate. This paperdevelops a different thesis. Reality may possess the generative architecture associated with simulationwithout representing, imitating, or being computed by anything external to itself. Under the proposedframework, potentiality is primitive; relational structure constrains which distinctions are jointlyadmissible; actual distinction produces determinate facts relative to physical systems; and persistencerenders some such facts available as stable records, objects, and observers. Corporeal reality is thereforenot the primitive bearer of structure but the persistent expression of prior structural constraints.Bell-type nonlocality, Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger contradictions, contextuality, and decoherence donot prove this ontology, but they constrain it: a viable account cannot construct quantum reality fromindependently complete local pieces, cannot assign noncontextual values to every unrealizedmeasurement, and must explain why macroscopic records become stable. The framework’scompatibility with unitary quantum mechanics is treated as an open commitment, and the individuationof relata from pure relational structure is treated as an open problem inherited from structural realismgenerally rather than one dissolved by analogy. Quantum Darwinism and consistent histories areintroduced as candidate formalizations of persistence, compatibility, and record accessibility - not assolutions to outcome determination, which remains unresolved and is shown to require neithernonunitary dynamics nor a unique world in every case. Computational mechanics is invoked narrowly,to explain why persistent, discriminable physical regularities admit a minimal predictiverepresentation, without asserting that physical processes are literally computational. A furtheroperational refinement treats observation itself as a physical interaction: measured distinctions mayarise from the system, from the observational intervention, or from their interaction. Live-cellmicroscopy provides a concrete methodological analogue for separating structural resolution fromdynamical fidelity and for asking which distinctions persist across time and measurement conditions. Keywords: potentiality; distinction; simulation hypothesis; structural realism; quantum foundations; Bell nonlocality;contextuality; decoherence; quantum Darwinism; consistent histories; computational mechanics; measurement;observer-system interaction; live-cell microscopy

Quantum Records, Definite Outcomes, and the Born Rule from Finite Accessibility - The Measurement Completion of the Operational Framework

Paul Cooney

Papers I and II derived gravitational geometry and second-order dynamics from finite accessibility without invoking measurement, observation protocols, or collapse as primitive notions. This paper extends the operational program to the measurement sector, deriving the structure of record formation and probabilistic weights from the same finite accessibility and compositional constraints. Finite accessibility restricts admissible operations on a subsystem to a proper operator subalgebra. Because bounded certification excludes operators requiring nonlocal coordination or arbitrarily fine phase resolution, the accessible algebra is strictly smaller than the full operator algebra. When a system becomes correlated with orthogonal environment sectors, off-diagonal operators between those sectors fall outside the accessible algebra. The reduced state is therefore indistinguishable, under all admissible operations, from its diagonal ensemble. Definiteness emerges as an algebraic consequence of sector restriction, not as a collapse postulate. The weights of these sectors are fixed uniquely by compositional consistency. Phase invariance, multiplicativity under independent refinement, and stability under record coarse-graining constrain any admissible assignment of sector weights to satisfy a functional equation whose only continuous, non-contextual solution is quadratic in amplitude. The Born rule therefore arises as the unique invariant measure compatible with finite accessibility. Irreversibility follows from action scaling: reversal requires operators outside the admissible tensor algebra and incurs action cost proportional to the number of correlated subsystems. Since admissible operations are bounded by the action gap, macroscopic record reversal is excluded. Measurement introduces no new physical primitives beyond finite accessibility, locality, and compositional stability. Record formation, classical definiteness, and Born probabilities are structural consequences of algebraic restriction under finite accessibility. **This paper is part of the Finite Accessibility series, which reconstructs gravitational geometry, quantum dynamics, gauge structure, cosmological perturbation theory, and the dark sector from a single operational primitive: a finite certification ceiling ω* governing the maximum rate at which physical relations can be maintained across extended domains.** **Introductory papers** - Geometric Limits to Coherent Timekeeping in Extended Reference Frames — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18824556 - Accessibility Selection Law (ASL) — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18824649 - Phase Boundary Gravity — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18824707 **Pillars (numbered I–IV)** - Paper I: Deriving Gravitational Geometry and Schrödinger Dynamics from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18601600 - Paper II: Deriving Inertia, Motion, and Wave Propagation from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18625174 - Paper III: Accessible State Spaces, Record Stability, and the Emergence of Quantum Statistics — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18625192 - Paper IV: Frame Dissolution, the Certification Ceiling, and Observable Deformations — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18654458 **Extension papers** - Dark Matter from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18654433 - Dark Energy from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18654523 - No-Go Theorems and the Admissibility Corridor — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18654493 - Gauge Structure from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18928152 - Perturbation Theory from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18928213 **Experimental paper** - Experimental Probes of Finite Accessibility: GW Dispersion and Vacuum Path Independence — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18931126 **Keywords:** Born rule derivation, measurement problem, quantum statistics, finite accessibility, operator subalgebra, record formation, definiteness emergence, wave function collapse, compositional consistency, accessible state spaces, action gap, irreversibility, sector restriction, quantum foundations, algebraic quantum mechanics, decoherence
