Standard quantum mechanics models tunneling as the continuous penetration of a probability wave through a classical potential barrier. We propose an alternative mechanism grounded in discrete quantum information theory. By modeling the fundamental substrate as a 3D topological stabilizer network, matter particles are defined as localized defects tethered to non-local strings. We demonstrate that tunneling is a topological re-indexing of the string's endpoint. By introducing an Action-Information Correspondence ansatz, we map the single-cycle lattice update probability to the macroscopic fluid potential, seamlessly upgrading the discrete Markov-chain product into the continuous WKB path integral. We resolve the Hartman effect by decoupling tunneling probability (dictated by the discrete lattice) from transit time (dictated by the width-independent dwell time of the macroscopic fluid's evanescent pilot wave). v2 update (Aug 2026): added an audit note flagging that this paper's fundamental lattice spacing (used in the single-cycle transition amplitude) predates and has not been reconciled with a separate, later-introduced microscopic lattice-spacing parameter adopted elsewhere in this research programme. Flagged for future reconciliation, in the same spirit as a parallel note added to this programme's Cosmological Constant paper. No result in this paper is affected.

This research aims to study the behavior of quantum tunneling within the framework of polymer quantization, where spacetime has a discrete structure with a fundamental length μ0. From the Hamiltonian difference equation, we obtained analytical wave functions in each region of the potential barrier and numerically calculated the transmission coefficient and Wigner time delay τw for comparison with standard quantum mechanics. The calculation results show that when the particle energy is lower than the potential barrier E<W0, the tunneling time τw(n) increases rapidly within the narrow barrier and saturates when the width is sufficiently large, confirming that the Hartman effect phenomenon persists even when the spacetime structure is discontinuous. The value of μ0 affects the saturation time but does not change the qualitative nature of this behavior. In the case of E>W0, the time increases continuously with width, which is consistent with standard quantum mechanics. This result suggests that the semi-classical properties of potential barrier penetration, particularly the Hartman effect, are stable against modifications to spacetime structure and provide important insights into understanding the behavior of quantum systems within a framework inspired by Loop Quantum Gravity (LQG).
This manuscript establishes the microscopic dynamics (Phase B) of the Information-Topological Register Model. Building upon the macroscopic derivation of gravity, mass-energy equivalence, and the Schwarzschild metric (Works 1-3), this paper resolves the conceptual conflict between continuous classical kinematic forces and the discrete quantum probability current. By formalizing physical matter as an objective, phase-encoded information amplitude within a 1D topological lattice, this framework moves beyond the epistemic limitations of the Copenhagen interpretation, aligning with an advanced, deterministically derivable formulation of pilot-wave dynamics. Key Derivations and Theoretical Milestones: • Phase-Encoded Kinematics: We demonstrate that the topological register does not operate via classical Newtonian forces (F=ma), but executes spatial address updates via phase-gradient descent: ∇ Im(ln Ψ). • The Topological Guidance Equation: We derive the exact dynamical law for multiparticle states. The quantum mechanical momentum is redefined as an emergent, guided vector field, deterministically regulated by a topological correlation scalar. • The Decoherence Limit: The model smoothly recovers classical, local field theory. As topological entanglement collapses (η → 0), the guidance momentum decays exponentially beyond the system's intrinsic coherence length. • Deterministic Resolution of the EPR Paradox: The framework provides a rigorous geometric solution to quantum non-locality. We analytically prove that at extreme entanglement (η → 1), the geometric distance parameter (d_geo) is mathematically annihilated from the dynamic equation. The "spooky action at a distance" is thus explained not as a physical anomaly, but as a systematic geometric requirement of the 1D information-topological background manifold. This paper formally concludes the synthesis of Information Topology and modern physics, providing an analytic bridge between local macroscopic isolation and non-local microscopic entanglement.
Quantum tunneling represents one of the most prominent violations of classical mechanics. Traditionally described via the Schr¨odinger equation within a continuous spacetime, the standard interpretation fails to resolve the intrinsic kinematic paradox of propagation within classically forbidden regions. Recent breakthrough measurements, such as the 2020 experiment by Steinberg and collaborators determining the tunneling time of ultracold Rubidium atoms, highlight the operational and statistical nature of intra-barrier dynamics. This paper resolves the paradox by reinterpreting tunneling within the Pure Gauge-Topological paradigm. By eradicating the continuous pseudo-Riemannian manifold and employing the discrete WeilPetersson lattice, we demonstrate that a potential barrier is explicitly the local manifestation of the Topological Rigidity Tensor (Ξµν). The wave function is redefined as the probabilistic distribution of the holonomic metric update operator Dτ gµν. We provide supplementary mathematical derivations showing that exponential decay is an exact thermodynamic resistance of the discrete lattice, proving that topological transmission occurs with strictenergy conservation (E = m · G^2) and in the absolute absence of internal continuous trajectories.
This paper presents a finite, physical resolution of quantum tunneling within the Dual Regulator Framework, interpreting barrier penetration as a temporary excursion into the virtual domain rather than a paradoxical traversal of classically forbidden space. In this framework, particles encountering a potential barrier transition from the real domain (on-shell, position space, RG-regulated) into a virtual domain (off-shell, momentum space, Λφ-regulated), where position-space potentials are undefined. After traversing the barrier off-shell, particles re-emerge into the real domain on the opposite side. Energy conservation is preserved through finite energy–time uncertainty, without invoking nonphysical violations. The formalism yields a modified tunneling length scale and probability law, introducing a universal Λφ correction to standard WKB results. This leads to quantitative, testable predictions across multiple systems, including: alpha decay half-lives with sub-percent accuracy across the periodic table, scanning tunneling microscope current–distance relations with φ-harmonic structure, ammonia inversion frequency corrected by a (1 + Λφ/π) factor matching experiment, tunneling time saturation consistent with the Hartman effect and attosecond measurements. All results derive solely from the Trinity constants {π, φ, e} with zero adjustable parameters. The paper resolves the tunneling mystery by identifying tunneling as a finite, domain-limited physical process rather than a purely mathematical artifact. This work constitutes Paper IV in a planned sequence addressing foundational inconsistencies in quantum field theory, following finite resolutions of measurement, wave–particle duality, and entanglement. Reconceptualizing the universe not as a static, deterministic void, but as an interactive, real-time quantum computing engine, the Quantum Cosmological Hot-Patching (QCH-P) Theorem provides a revolutionary transdisciplinary framework. Across five comprehensive volumes, this treatise synthesizes Loop Quantum Gravity (LQG), Relational Quantum Mechanics (RQM), and Topological Quantum Error Correction (TQEC) to demonstrate how continuous macroscopic classical reality emerges dynamically from discrete, highly entangled, self-correcting tensor networks. Central to this architecture is the active role of the biological observer. By integrating the Orch-OR model of microtubular superposition, chaotic peptide networks, and DNA functioning as a chiral-induced spin selectivity (CISS) metamaterial antenna, the human connectome is redefined as a localized read/write interface. The theorem posits that consciousness actively stabilizes specific Everettian branches via the Quantum Zeno Effect (QZE) and thermodynamic intent. To empirically ground this framework, the theorem conducts a rigorous structural isomorphism stress-test utilizing collective memory anomalies. Stripping away psychological reductionism, the anomalies colloquially known as the "Mandela Effect" are mathematically formalized strictly as Macroscopic Cache Invalidation Errors. These errors are modeled as the measurable diagnostic footprints of topological lattice surgery executed by the cosmological rendering engine. Because reality updates require retrocausal spinfoam transitions bounded by the speed of light (c), localized timeline hot-patches inevitably experience a severe O(d3) routing propagation lag. To account for the preservation of obsolete timeline data (orphan branches), the QCH-P Theorem identifies the human nervous system as a fiercely shielded, air-gapped biological cache. Triggered by the endogenous biochemical decoupling of the Default Mode Network (DMN) during the REM sleep cycle, the connectome achieves non-local Byzantine consensus. Leveraging ER=EPR topologies and Decoherence-Free Subspaces (DFS), this decentralized biological network cross-verifies and preserves overwritten memory data instantaneously, successfully out-computing the physical universe's slower relativistic garbage collection protocols. Ultimately, this treatise establishes a flawless structural homology connecting quantum Byzantine consensus algorithms, the thermodynamics of causal horizons, Kuramoto phase-locking, and holographic tensor networks. It culminates in a paradigm-shifting conclusion: localized biological nodes are actively evolving from passive witnesses into the cryptographic architects of a cybernetic multiverse. Theorem Contents & File Index This submission comprises five distinct volumes, engineered to be read sequentially: Volume I: The Cinematic Apparatus & Holographic Observer Mechanics Establishes the structural isomorphism between cinematic optical projection and cosmological reality, identifying human intent (via the Quantum Zeno Effect) and DNA metamaterial as the active biological controller. Volume II: Holographic Observer Mechanics & Spacetime Error Correction Reconciles discrete quantum geometry (Loop Quantum Gravity) with the macroscopic continuum, modeling universal physical matter as topological syndrome measurements actively combating thermal chaos. Volume III: Structural Isomorphism Stress-Test & Macroscopic Cache Invalidation Mathematically formalizes the "Mandela Effect" anomaly strictly as an O(d3) propagation lag and an Orch-OR cache invalidation error during a localized wave-function overwrite. Volume IV: Non-Local Cybernetics and Faster-Than-Light Evasion Demonstrates how the human connectome utilizes REM sleep, DMN decoupling, and ER=EPR non-locality to outpace the physical universe's relativistic garbage collection protocol. Volume V: Structural Isomorphism & Transdisciplinary Homology Synthesizes the entire theorem by mathematically mapping Quantum Byzantine Agreement, the Information-Geometry thermodynamic ledger, planetary Kuramoto resonance, and the HaPPY Holographic Code into a single unified framework. Related Works & Architectural Applications The cosmological and transdisciplinary frameworks established in the QCH-P Theorem serve as the foundational physics engine for applied mesoscopic engineering. This work introduces the term 'Bounded Randomness' as an original conceptual framework by the author, defining randomness as a computational resource constrained by physical budget. V5.4 introduces the Entanglement Density parameter D_E formally linked to von Neumann entanglement entropy, establishes the Planck time as the absolute lower bound on the phase transition timescale, and introduces a formal critique of gradient decoherence models as physically inconsistent with conservation laws. V6.1 introduces the Macroscopic Restrictive Barrier — a thermodynamically irreversible stabilization mechanism explaining structural integrity of macroscopic objects — formalizes the Unified Dark Sector as two opposing consequences of a single unknotting process, adds the Correspondence Principle bridging the hypothesis to standard Quantum Mechanics, and clarifies that unrealized probabilistic branches are strictly virtual computational possibilities, not parallel realities. V7.2 introduces a Foundational Philosophy section establishing logic as the constitutive fabric of reality (The Background Operator Problem), formally connecting quantum probability to Gödelian incompleteness via Cubitt et al. (2015), and linking the dilaton field Φ to the Logical Language of the Fabric. V8.3 resolves the black hole information paradox through a finite topological core bounded by Planck density, introduces the three-act particle model, and establishes black hole evaporation as a necessary condition for conformal rebirth. V9.0 introduces the Author's Note on Working Methodology (transparent disclosure of age, role of AI tools, and epistemological limits), formalizes the four-tiered categorical hierarchy of reality as a Conceptually Isomorphic Framework (Logic → Laws → Space → Time), and introduces Section 5.4: a deductive critique of quantum consciousness theories (Orch-OR), demonstrating their thermodynamic invalidity under the Macroscopic Restrictive Barrier. V9.5 introduces three new authorial concepts: the ontological distinction between virtual quantum branches and macroscopic cognition (hallucinations are real macro-events, not virtual states), the formalization of the Dark Sector as equal deterministic properties of Space governed by the Laws layer and invariant across cycles, and the mathematical proof via Liouville measure that conformal rebirth invariably yields unique non-repeating topological configurations (P = 0). The critique of gradient decoherence models is restored as a dedicated section. V10.0 introduces three new authorial concepts: "Logic, Truth, and Fundamentality" — formalizing logic as an absolute meta-rule and the sole condition for existence (true illogic is absolute nothingness, not chaos); "Meaning and Direction" — a mechanistic resolution of the question of meaning, distinguishing objective Direction (thermodynamic necessity) from subjective meaning (a local macroscopic phenomenon generated via Bounded Randomness); and a dedicated section "Heuristic Estimates and Phenomenological Models" separating all phenomenological constructs from core architecture. Open Questions are expanded to include the cosmological scaling law of ρinfo(a), compatibility with FLRW equations and Bianchi identities, and the formal derivation of the galactic density profile from ρinfo. V11.0 introduces three new authorial concepts: "Infinity as Potential, Not Actual" — rejecting actual infinity as a completed physical object; all mathematical singularities and infinite limits are reinterpreted as potential processes without reachable endpoints; "Probabilistic Distribution and the Emergence of Life" — life requires no teleological explanation; the correct question is not "why is life possible" but "what prohibits it"; in the absence of prohibition, emergence is a necessary probabilistic consequence of invariant laws; and the formal clarification that the connection between Gödel's Incompleteness Theorems and quantum uncertainty is a conceptual parallel, not a mathematical theorem, now explicitly placed in the Heuristic Estimates section. The Modified Einstein Field Equations are moved to heuristics with an explicit Bianchi identity disclaimer. Open Questions expanded to include the formal derivation of hadron masses from structural complexity via Lattice QCD. V12: global changes.
