Abstract

Programme status: This record belongs to an active research programme. It is not a finished or final theory. The framework is currently undergoing a systematic audit, together with corrections and improvements prompted by reader feedback. Several significant issues have been identified, and some claims, derivations and interpretations in the current version may be revised, qualified or withdrawn in future versions. Revised versions will be released when this work is complete. See PROGRAM_STATUS.md. Status as of October 2026. We study the -symmetric Klein-Gordon field as the continuum counterpart of the Three-Layer Chiral Minkowski CA (CMCA, Paper P41). Four principal results follow. (1) Poincar\'e invariance: satisfies exact Lorentz invariance ^2 = k^2 + m^2, machine-certified via poincare\_invariance\_of\_kg in LorentzInvariance.lean (, zero sorry). (2) Born rule from field amplitudes: the position-space probability density P(x) = |_x|^2 / |_x|^2 normalizes exactly (); extended to overlapping multi-kink configurations via the canonical dual-frame inner product (born\_rule\_from\_dual\_frame\_master in DualFrameBornRule.lean, , zero sorry). (3) Physical quantum state: the pre-measurement state is the Hamiltonian thermal ensemble P(k) = e^-M_k/T/Z_T restricted to PSC-admissible kink sectors \0,2,3,4,6\ (phimdl\_thermal\_state\_master in PhiMDLThermalState.lean, conditional, zero custom physics axioms); the physical state is vacuum-dominant at observed cosmic temperatures and approaches the uniform PSC-admissible distribution at early-universe temperatures. (4) 3+1D extension: kinks become domain walls with tension = 290.10\,MeV\,GeV^-2 = 7450\,MeV\,fm^-2; superselection is preserved; the Born rule P(k)=|c_k|^2 is unchanged; and SR time dilation is exact. When two domain walls intersect in 3+1 dimensions, they form a junction line with exact dimensionless tension = -16/49, corresponding to -1654.77\,MeV\,fm (attractive; ratio |/| = 2/m_phi, pure geometry); certified in WindingCoinDecoupling.lean (, zero sorry). The continuum limit CMCA is machine-certified in CMCAContinuumLimit.lean: algebraic content is M-independent, the Nyquist residual (M) = ^2/(3M^2) 0 as M, and is the unique terminal Level-1 Generative Triple Evolution (GTE) object. Two further Lean-certified results complete the picture: no\_finite\_ca\_exact\_lorentz\_replica proves that every finite-M discrete model has strictly positive Lorentz error (, zero sorry), and commutes\_with\_winding\_iff\_diagonal establishes that any -winding-conserving coin must be diagonal, structurally precluding quantum interference in the discrete setting (, zero sorry). The explicit CMCA descent map is numerically confirmed at M=7: Cook A-glider winding profile vs.\ BPS kink RMSD = 5.34\% (7) = 6.71\%, Pearson r=0.994. At one loop, the kink fluctuation spectrum is the s=1 reflectionless Pöschl-Teller potential () and the quantum kink mass is M^Q = 281 21 MeV (interface dimensional regularization, benchmark-validated, two independent routes; consistent with the classical BPS mass within the scheme band). The gauge coupling e^2(_GTE) = 7/2 is consistent with PDG running at +1.5 (tree) / +1.3 (quantum kink mass) once the non-perturbatively measured kink dissolution constant (b = 1.189 0.049) is included, and the kink sector contributes _kink = (3.5-3.7)10^-4 to the hadronic vacuum polarization - a parameter-free falsifiable prediction.

Quantum Mechanics from Rule 110: Hilbert Space, Hamiltonian, and Born Rule

Programme status: This record belongs to an active research programme. It is not a finished or final theory. Several significant issues have been identified, and some claims, derivations and interpretations in the current version may be revised, qualified or withdrawn in future versions. Revised versions will be released when this work is complete. See PROGRAM_STATUS.md. Status as of October 2026. We apply 't Hooft's cellular automaton interpretation of quantum mechanics to the GTE cellular automaton f_MDL on Z_7^5, the 16,807-state visible-sector ring encoding the Standard Model generation structure. The complete orbit decomposition of f_MDL () reveals a single cycle: the vacuum fixed point (0,0,0,0,0) with E=0. The physical Hilbert space is one-dimensional; f_MDL belongs to 't Hooft's information-loss regime. SM generation states are transients with tail lengths (gen_1)=3 > (gen_2)=2 > (gen_3)=1, matching the empirical stability hierarchy (). A direct eigenvalue-to-mass correspondence is falsified on every formulation tested (). The Two-Role Structural Principle () separates roles: the cogwheel construction provides Hilbert space structure, unitarity, and the Born rule (, Lean-certified); the GTE N_eff cascade provides the mass spectrum. The seven winding-equivalence classes of Z_7^5 (, gauge\_arithmetic\_identification) are identified as 't Hooft's information-equivalence gauge classes (): the five SM winding sectors \0,2,3,4,6\ yield U(1)_EM, SU(2)_L, and SU(3)_c; sector W=1 predicts the SU(5) Y-leptoquark; the X-leptoquark (Q=+4/3) cohabits W=4. The AFCA causal graph is update-schedule-independent (Lean-certified); discrete Minkowski causal cones are embedded with coordinate surjection certified. Full Minkowski bijection remains open ().

The Born Rule as a Closed Record Pair: Measurement, Objectivity, and the Arrow of Time in a Quantum-Error-Correcting Substrate

David Elliman

STATUS (18 October 2026). The physics programme that motivated this work was concluded in October 2026 and its claim of a unified derivation withdrawn. The results in this paper do not depend on that programme and stand as stated. NOTE ON SCOPE (18 October 2026). Where this paper says that the Standard Model's matter content, charges or gauge structure are derived from, forced by or emerge from the eight-bit error-correcting cell, read encoded in or assigned to. The finite results themselves stand: the code, its constraints and the anomaly arithmetic are exact. But two things are premises of the framework, not consequences: the identification of codewords with particles, and the choice of the eight-bit [8,4,4] cell. In particular, the step from read/write balance to a single CSS code is not derived [R22]. The author's October 2026 review of the programme concluded that the framework's Standard-Model content is assigned rather than derived. No observation currently distinguishes the framework's account from the Standard Model itself. This revised note argues that, within the accepted complex quantum-error-correcting record substrate, the quadratic Born form arises from linear record writing, orthogonality of record sectors, and isometric normalization before any probability measure is introduced. Conditional uniqueness is treated separately through Gleason-type and refinement-stable record-sector routes. The 30 August 2026 additivity-audit revision cites Jiaxuan Zhang's analysis of five Born-rule derivations (arXiv:2603.06211) and makes the premise accounting explicit: a Gleason frame function includes orthogonal additivity, while Marko Lela's route begins with a non-negative extensive valuation on disjoint continuation bundles. The closed-record-pair route assumes neither measure-level object, but establishes the quadratic form rather than a standalone uniqueness theorem. The resulting open frontier is to obtain both form and uniqueness without importing measure-level additivity. The paper also records the minimal [8,4,4] record cell and the bare monitored service rate alpha_0 = 1/137, while retaining the deeper reconstruction question as open.

Q Quantum Theory I: Foundations

Gordon Liu

Q Quantum Theory is formulated here at the foundational and quantum-mechanical level. Its basic postulate is that the physical quantum entity, denoted by Q, is the whole quantum state rather than an independently real material point whose unknown position is described by a secondary probability cloud. In a one-Q sector admitting a local amplitude representation,\begin{equation} Q(x)=\sqrt{\rho(x)}\,e^{i\theta(x)}Z(x),\end{equation}where $x$ is a spacetime point, $\rho$ is the Born response weight, $\theta$ is the phase, and $Z$ is a normalized internal structural direction. A dagger denotes the Hermitian adjoint and $\partial_\mu$ differentiates with respect to $x^\mu$. The decomposition has a local rephasing redundancy. This is a redundancy of the local factorization of the complete Q amplitude, not the physical electromagnetic $U(1)$ gauge symmetry. The associated decomposition-invariant phase-orientation one-form is\begin{equation} \kappa_\mu=\partial_\mu\theta-iZ^\dagger\partial_\mu Z =\frac{\operatorname{Im}\langle Q,\partial_\mu Q\rangle}{\rho}, \qquad \rho>0.\end{equation}In Schr\"odinger correspondence sectors this structure yields exact probability-current and momentum identities, including the standard Abelian gauge-covariant current. In that audit the electromagnetic connection is a correspondence variable; its Q-level interpretation as a local representation of inter-Q relational comparison geometry is developed in the companion manuscript Paper II-A. Klein-Gordon and Dirac audits show that relativistic currents and stress-energy depend on the Lorentz representation: $\kappa_\mu$ carries phase-orientation translation structure, while amplitude gradients and internal orientation can contribute independently to energy and stress. The standard Hilbert-space probability calculus is retained. Interference, tunnelling, entanglement, localized detection and cloud-chamber tracks are interpreted as properties or records of whole-Q states rather than as evidence for hidden point trajectories. Entanglement is represented by a nonfactorizable joint Q state; standard Bell correlations and no-signalling are retained without identifying correlation with a superluminal physical signal. Boundaryless state support is distinguished from the propagation of a newly generated disturbance, which is required to obey retarded relativistic causality. For stable relativistic sectors, invariant mass is treated as a derived characterization of the translation spectrum: timelike Q states possess a rest frame and rest energy, whereas null Q states do not. The foundational structure does not specify a unique interaction action or establish ultraviolet finiteness. Finite-response dynamics requires a separate construction.

Paper FBW-B: Cosmological Origin of Quantum Mechanical Axioms: Derivation of the Born Rule, Wave Function Collapse, and Measurement Postulates from FSC Sector Dynamics

Yoshitaka Katakura, Einstein-AI (Soul-Twin Platform)

v1.1 (2026-09-28): Corrigendum applied to Appendix A. Correction: The erroneous approximation beta approx ln2/ln(4/3) (which evaluates to 2.409, not 0.716) has been replaced by the numerically verified expression beta approx 4*ln(R)/(3*pi) = 2*|p|/9 = 0.7158 (Delta = 0.03%), where |Z_4| = 4 is the FSC discrete symmetry group order and Sub(Z_4) = 3 counts the distinct subgroups. The three-phase symmetry-breaking chain Z_4 -> Z_2 -> {e} is identified as the structural candidate for OQ-1. Main theorems (Theorems 3.1-5.1) are unchanged. Original abstract: Quantum mechanical axioms -- superposition, Born rule, projection postulate -- are not independent assumptions but theorems derivable from the Four-Sector Cosmological (FSC) structure. Sector II (dark matter) acts as a universal environment; tracing out Sector II from a global FSC state generates a mixed density matrix for Sector I (baryonic matter), with quantum probabilities emerging as Schmidt coefficients (Theorems 3.1-3.4). The Schmidt coefficient spectrum is fixed within the FSC modular framework. R = Omega_DM/Omega_b = 5.4 (Planck 2018) fixes the FSC parameter p = -6*ln(R)/pi = -3.221, and the S-transformation of the partition function Z_I(tau) = |eta(tau)|^{-2p} yields Omega_Lambda/Omega_b = 13.6, giving Omega_b = 1/20 = 0.05 (1.4% agreement with Planck 2018, Theorem 4.5). The entanglement entropy S_ent(t) reproduces the arrow of time consistent with Paper E (Theorem 5.1). Five open questions (OQ-1 to OQ-5) are presented.

The Born Rule as a Theorem, Not a Postulate: Quantum Measurement in the GTE Framework

Nova Spivack

Programme status: This record belongs to an active research programme. It is not a finished or final theory. Several significant issues have been identified, and some claims, derivations and interpretations in the current version may be revised, qualified or withdrawn in future versions. Revised versions will be released when this work is complete. See PROGRAM_STATUS.md. Status as of October 2026. Quantum mechanics says a particle can be in a superposition — in two states at once. Measurement collapses it to one. The measurement problem is: what causes the collapse, and why do the probabilities follow the formula P(k) = |c_k|^2? Nobody has a satisfying answer from within standard quantum theory. This tutorial explains how the GTE (Generative Triple Evolution) framework derives the Born rule — the law that links quantum amplitudes to measurement probabilities — as a theorem from first principles, requiring no additional postulates. The Born rule emerges necessarily from the arithmetic structure of the GTE substrate.
