Clock-Information Fiber Extensions of Schrödinger Dynamics and Residual Dephasing Diagnostics

Abstract

**Version v0.5 — Journal-Polish Update** This manuscript develops a conservative extension framework for Schrödinger dynamics in which an observed quantum system is embedded into an enlarged Hilbert space equipped with an auxiliary clock-information fiber. The fiber is not introduced as a macroscopic hidden spatial dimension, nor as a local hidden-variable register. Instead, it is treated as a quantum auxiliary sector carrying phase memory, clock/reference correlations, and correlation records that may appear as information loss or dephasing after partial tracing. The central contribution of this version is a residual-identifiability framework. Rather than claiming that unitary dilation itself is new, the paper asks whether a calibrated observed system can exhibit structured residuals after independent-bath subtraction and common-bath controls. The main diagnostic object is a log-residual statistic, $$R_\chi(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})=\log C_{\rm obs}(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})-\log C_{\rm ind}(t;\sigma_{\rm ref}),$$ together with reference-covariance indices such as $$\mathcal I_\chi(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})=\partial_{\sigma_{\rm ref}}R_\chi(t;\sigma_{\rm ref}),$$ and covariance/correlation-based diagnostics over controlled reference settings. The framework emphasizes that a nonzero residual alone is not sufficient evidence for an admissible clock-information fiber. A candidate residual must be non-factorizing, reproducible, reference-covariant, and not absorbed by independent local bath models, common classical noise, or generic common quantum bath controls. In particular, the admissible-fiber hypothesis is treated as a residual diagnostic condition, not as a proof of a new hidden variable, superluminal channel, or macroscopic extra dimension. The paper proves the elementary consistency statements for the enlarged dynamics: total unitarity under a self-adjoint total Hamiltonian, total energy conservation for time-independent generators, subsystem entropy growth under partial trace, and no-signalling compatibility under local trace-preserving operations. It also presents minimal toy models for phase-memory dephasing, shared-fiber cross-kernels, compact protected fiber sectors, and synthetic residual-fitting demonstrations. The synthetic fitting layer uses a representative model of the form $$C_{\rm obs}(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})=C_{\rm ind}(t)\exp[-a(\sigma_{\rm ref})t^2],\qquada(\sigma_{\rm ref})=a_0+a_1\sigma_{\rm ref}^2,$$ so that $$R_\chi(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})=-a(\sigma_{\rm ref})t^2.$$ This example is intended as an identifiability demonstration: after calibrated independent-bath subtraction, a candidate clock-information fiber signature should appear as a reproducible residual with controlled reference covariance, rather than as an arbitrary fitting term. The experimental outlook focuses on Ramsey/spin-echo baselines, dynamical-decoupling response, superconducting qubit and Josephson platforms, tunneling phase-delay diagnostics, and reference-modulation protocols. The manuscript also formulates a common-bath control envelope, $$|R_\chi(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})-R_{\rm ctrl}(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})|\le\delta_R(t;\sigma_{\rm ref}),$$ to express the requirement that a proposed fiber residual should not be absorbed by generic common-bath control models within statistical uncertainty. ### Main updates in v0.5 - Shortened journal-style title and abstract.- Removal of version-history language from the abstract.- Strengthened common-bath control criterion.- Addition of a formal common-bath control envelope.- Improved diagnostic separation between independent local baths, common classical noise, generic common quantum baths, and admissible clock-information fibers.- Algorithm-style synthetic residual-identifiability test.- Synthetic residual-fitting demonstration using reference-covariant dephasing.- Improved table formatting and manuscript presentation for journal-style readability. ### Scope and non-claims This work should be read as a structured framework for residual diagnostics in extended Schrödinger dynamics. It is not a hidden-variable theory, not a superluminal-signalling model, not a derivation of measurement collapse, and not a completed microscopic theory of mass, charge, or quantum gravity.

Residual Clock Dynamics: Operational-Time Rescaling and Effective Relaxation in a Minimal U(1) Model

Byoungwoo Lee

Version v1.0. This work develops a minimal effective framework for residual-sourced operational-time rescaling in a $U(1)$ phase sector. The gauge-invariant residual one-form $$\alpha = d\Phi - A$$ is used to define a positive phenomenological clock response $$L_\alpha = L_0 \exp\left(-\lambda \vert{}\alpha\vert{}_h^2\right), \qquad dT = L_\alpha \, ds.$$ In the scalar-lapse sector, the generator with respect to operational time is $$K_T = L_\alpha^{-1} H_s.$$ Consequently, generator variance and pure-state quantum Fisher information scale as $L_\alpha^{-2}$, while the Bures line element of the same physical trajectory remains invariant under the reparameterization. The scalar lapse therefore changes information rate per unit operational time without, by itself, producing an intrinsic change in the quantum-state geometry. Independently of this kinematic construction, the paper considers an effective residual gradient flow $$\dot{\alpha} = -\nabla_{\mathrm{adm}} \mathcal{A}$$ on a fixed Hilbert configuration space. This yields the Lyapunov identity $$\frac{d}{dT} \mathcal{A}[\alpha(T)] = -\Vert{}\nabla_{\mathrm{adm}} \mathcal{A}\Vert{}_H^2 \le 0$$ and a monotone residual-dissipation functional. The dissipative law is an additional effective assumption and is not derived from the lapse law or from generator rescaling. The manuscript also separates the covariant gauge-invariant core from the foliation-dependent positive spatial norm entering the operational lapse, clarifies the distinction between Fisher-information-rate rescaling and intrinsic Bures geometry, and records the correction required when the background geometry is time dependent. The model is not proposed as a microscopic or fundamental theory of time, irreversibility, decoherence, or quantum measurement. Its purpose is structural: to isolate a common residual variable that can enter clock normalization, generator rescaling, and an independently assumed effective relaxation while keeping their logical dependencies explicit. The paper identifies several open problems required for a more predictive theory, including a microscopic derivation of the clock-response law, a controlled derivation of dissipative mobility, a covariant dynamical clock or foliation sector, quantitative cross-channel observables, and independent empirical tests.

When Does a Clock Become Physical? Reparameterization No-Go and Residual Clock–Generator Coupling

Byoungwoo Lee

This paper asks a basic structural question: when does a state-dependent clock represent physical structure rather than a mere reparameterization of time? The starting point is deliberately restrictive. If a dynamical vector field is multiplied everywhere by a strictly positive scalar lapse, then the oriented state-space trajectories are unchanged; only their parametrization changes. A state-dependent clock rate therefore does not become physical by declaration. This positive-lapse reparameterization result is used as a no-go gate for subsequent clock models. The paper then identifies three distinct structures that can survive this test: Relational nonuniversality: Different clock sectors can respond differently to the same residual datum, so normalized clock ratios retain observable differential information even when a universal common mode cancels. Covariant lapse-response stress: When the lapse-dependent sector is embedded in a generally covariant action, a nonzero Hilbert-tensor contribution provides a sufficient tensor witness that the lapse dependence is not removable by coordinate-time relabeling alone. Operator nonscalarity: For $$K_T = L^{-1/2} H L^{-1/2},$$ a strongly commuting clock operator $\widehat L$ is equivalent to a single scalar time rescaling only when it is spectrally scalar on the nonzero-energy support of $\widehat H$. A minimal gauge-invariant realization is built from the residual one-form $$\alpha = d\Phi - A,$$ which sources a positive operational lapse and a positive residual generator-cost form. Under the stated admissibility, density, boundary, and coercivity hypotheses, the zero-cost sector is the aligned vacuum almost everywhere. The same framework yields a lapse-dependent Hilbert stress response and a regulated operator realization near clock-degenerate sectors. For a network of clock comparisons, the paper also derives an exact relational structure. If $\kappa_i$ denotes the logarithmic clock response at vertex $i$ and $D$ is the graph incidence matrix, then pairwise residuals satisfy $$r = D\kappa.$$ On a connected graph, the global common mode is unidentifiable, while the cycle-space component provides an exact noiseless compatibility test for the scalar vertex-clock model. Loss of a positive lower bound is treated separately as a boundary flag $B_{\partial}$. It signals that the global positive-lapse equivalence argument has left its domain of applicability, but it is not taken by itself as evidence of physical inequivalence. The resulting framework is intended as a theorem-controlled physicality criterion for residual clock–energy models: a physical clock is not identified merely by state dependence, but by relational, covariant-stress, or operator structure that survives the reparameterization test.

Residual Fibrations: Exact Reconstruction from Partial Information

Fulvio Bennato

This preprint develops the theory of spectral closure systems: an operator-algebraic framework for local access to a global compatibility object through typed, lossy closures, organized as a calculus of admissible sections of access maps. Truth is extendability: a local datum is globally valid exactly when it extends along the inverse system, with finite-stage obstruction certificates by compactness. Recovery of local charts is canonical exactly on the sufficiency sector (Petz recovery, conditioning); off it, every totalization is impotent or pays an exact relative-entropy price. Time is the Radon–Nikodym cocycle of the failure of a nonsingular dynamics to preserve belief, realized as the modular flow of its crossed-product envelope; a nontrivial clock forces a noncommutative envelope, with Murray–von Neumann–Connes type read off the ratio set and the flow of weights as envelope invariant. In the quantum perimeter, point-valued global truth is empty (Kochen–Specker), state-valued compatibility survives (Gleason, Christensen–Yeadon), Bell violations measure the classical gluing defect (Fine), and stable classical recordability is characterized as the commutative, modular-invariant, asymptotically sufficient chart sector; on the reflection-positive sector the record process reconstructs a positive-generator dynamics. Globality is relative but closure is terminal: stage sets collapse inward under directed exhaustion, the envelope tower closes outward at the second step by Takesaki duality, unforced finite-entropy residuals decay at a rate uniform in the modular cocycle (a complete logarithmic Sobolev inequality by transference from the circle), and the forcing cost balances exactly in dilation against system–environment correlation. Further results include an independence theorem for the underlying skeleton, a two-tier classification theorem with provable Foreman–Rudolph–Weiss wildness inside its fibers, an envelope universality theorem (the temporal envelopes are exactly the injective von Neumann algebras carrying a Cartan subalgebra), and a sector-split Orlicz envelope for relative entropy beyond bounded densities. Every external input is a named theorem-import with matched hypotheses; the interpretive vocabulary is proved to be a conservative definitional extension of the formal core.

Bell-Nonlocal Quantum Entanglement as Boundary-Level Compatibility

Amos Jay Maley Maley

A Kernel-Role Determinacy Theorem for Bell-Witness Fixation, No-Signaling, and Tensor-Level Compatibility This manuscript develops a fixed-domain AASC analysis of Bell-nonlocal quantum entanglement as a theorem of reusable witness determinacy. It does not introduce hidden variables, modify quantum mechanics, derive Hilbert-space formalism from below, or propose a new signaling mechanism. Instead, it asks a prior structural question: once a Bell-type operational family is used as the same non-degenerate witness across settings, lawful transformations, retained records, comparison, and later classification, what admissible same-domain standing form is forced? The governing claim is that AASC is not an optional interpretive overlay on physics. Once an operational Bell family is asserted as a determinate reusable witness, admissibility, standing, reference, and irreversibility are already active as minimal necessity conditions of same-witness objecthood. Target instantiation therefore carries governance occupancy: an alleged determinate Bell witness with no admissible governance realization is not an empty alternative, but a refusal or retyping of the target. The manuscript defines finite operational Bell objects with explicit setting carriers, outcome families, channel/interface data, standing-token valuations, continuation and report/reuse structure, comparison profiles, and act-time status. It then defines object-indexed query sorts, dependent response families, exactly recoverable operational simulations, lawful Bell groupoids, six governance-effect functors, and target-active extensional governance equivalence. The result is a typed interface in which arbitrary native formalisms can be compared by their target-bearing governance effects rather than by their internal syntax. The central Bell-specific theorem states that every same-target candidate-admissible Bell-governance construction is forced component by component into the certified boundary-compatible standing form on the complete target-active practice. Candidate admissibility does not assume the canonical form at the outset. Instead, target occupancy, lawful transport, standing-flow exclusion, compatibility certification, coordinate-deviation exhaustion, and componentwise closure force exact target-bearing realization and governance equivalence to the canonical representative CP∗C^{*}_{P}CP∗. The target-induced governance quotient therefore has exactly one element. The Bell carrier is treated as a compatible empirical model on a finite measurement cover. Bell-local completion is identified with the existence of a global section, and Bell nonlocality is the obstruction to such a section. The manuscript separates operational marginal invariance, absence of controllable communication, and exclusion of same-domain standing transport. No-signaling is therefore preserved without retyping Bell nonlocality as superluminal communication, metric transport, distant repair, or hidden standing transfer. The finite-dimensional quantum specialization uses the standard bipartite tensor-product and local-POVM carrier. Every separable realization in that carrier is Bell-local; therefore, if the fixed Bell-nonlocal empirical model has such a finite-dimensional quantum realization, every realizing state in that carrier is entangled. Post-quantum Bell-nonlocal no-signaling models remain within the general witness theorem but outside the quantum-entanglement corollary. The accompanying Lean 4 development, release v0.8.0, directly verifies the finite Bell-side witness carrier: denominator-32 vector/Born weights, structural no-signaling, CHSH numerator 808080, all sixteen deterministic local extrema, finite denominator-32 Bell-local-envelope exclusion, and conditional endpoint routing. Its direct witness certificate is vectorBorn_flagship_spine, and its deepest released endpoint is reasonableDeepestFiniteEntanglement_spine. The manuscript-level typed governance interface, empirical lawful groupoid, compatibility equivalence, coordinate-deviation exhaustion, completed role collapse, candidate-to-canonical derivation, and finite-dimensional quantum specialization are not attributed to the released Lean layer. This paper is the Bell-witness member of the paired AASC quantum determinacy arc. The record-side manuscript, Admissible Record Construction in Physically Non-Selective Quantum Regimes, fixes when local physical record occurrences stand as the same evidential record objects. The present manuscript fixes when the Bell operational family sampled by such records stands as the same reusable witness. The paired endpoint is therefore: record-role fixation+Bell-witness compatibility.\text{record-role fixation} + \text{Bell-witness compatibility}.record-role fixation+Bell-witness compatibility. The manuscript is classificatory and eliminative rather than mechanistic. It does not claim that AASC generates the Bell probabilities or supplies a hidden physical influence. Its claim is that reusable Bell-witness determinacy strongly constrains how Bell-nonlocal correlations may be coherently classified on a fixed domain: not as independently complete local states later connected by a mechanism, not as Bell-local hidden-variable value assignments, not as superluminal signaling, and not as same-act repair, but as boundary-level compatibility carried by one standing-preserving Bell witness.

A Spiral-Time Operator Layer for Quantum Engineering: Phase-Memory Diagnostics, Regime Prediction, and Closed-Loop Control

Marcel Krüger

Advanced quantum technologies increasingly depend on the stable operation of open, noisy, history-dependent systems. Examples include superconducting qubits, trapped ions, NVcenters, quantum sensors, photonic platforms, topological devices, and hybrid quantumclassical feedback architectures. Standard quantum theory provides the correct microscopic dynamical framework, but practical quantum engineering often requires an additional operational layer capable of detecting phase drift, coherence loss, memory effects, and regime transitions before they degrade device performance or propagate into unsafe control decisions. This manuscript proposes a conservative Spiral-Time operator layer for quantum engineering. The central object is a triadic phase-memory embedding ψ(t) = t+iϕ(t)+jχ(t), where t denotes external temporal ordering, ϕ(t) encodes phase/coherence state, and χ(t) encodes finite memory, torsion, or abrupt divergence. From measured system observables, the framework constructs a deterministic instability functional ∆Φ(t), interpretable as a distance from a calibrated stability manifold in structure–information–coherence space. The operator is not proposed as a replacement for quantum mechanics, Lindblad dynamics, process-tensor theory, optimal control, or Hamiltonian engineering. Instead, it is formulated as an auditable diagnostic and supervisory interface that maps observed quantum-system trajectories into control-relevant variables. A closed-loop extension is introduced in which the Spiral-Time state informs physically allowed control inputs such as laser phase, pulse timing, magnetic field, gate voltage, measurement basis, cooling schedule, or feedback Hamiltonian terms. The manuscript defines recovery limits, admissibility conditions, validation protocols, falsification criteria, and safety boundaries. Its purpose is to establish a rigorous roadmap for testing whether phase-memory diagnostics can improve regime prediction, stabilization, and auditability in open quantum technologies.

The Non-Separable Fiber Program — A Propensity Model of Quantum Correlations, the Three Screens, and the Case for Decomposition-Independence: Deposit v1

David A. Coke

This record deposits, as one versioned set, three companion documents of the Non-Separable Fiber Program. 1. A Non-Separable Propensity Model of Quantum Correlations (v5.2). A constructive stochastic hidden-structure model of two-photon polarization correlations. The model distinguishes kinematic locality (no superluminal signaling) from statistical separability, and discards only the second: each entangled pair bears one token fiber state with two bearers — a definite point on the Poincaré sphere, an affine (Malus) propensity coupling, a measurement-triggered update rule, and, at the pair level, a presentation structure identifying how the point stamped at one wing is consulted at the other. The model reproduces the full quantum joint distribution for every two-qubit pure state exactly, in both actualization orders, with no-signaling resolved into two named, contingent conditions (the complementarity identity of the coupling; matched fiber equilibrium). Two theorems locate the quantum/super-quantum boundary — the same architecture reaches the Popescu–Rohrlich maximum under a threshold coupling, and the update dynamics identifies the quantum correlations with the harmonic purity of the local coupling — and the cos² coupling itself is derived from stated premises by non-contextual normalization, with Busch- and Wright–Weigert-type completions and a named residue. The presentation structure is identified explicitly as the quantum steering identity realized as token structure, and the paper states, in Bell/Jarrett vocabulary, exactly which locality conditions the model concedes at the hidden level and which it preserves operationally. 2. Three Screens: Why the Foliation Is Hidden (v1.4). The companion synthesis. On the paper's preferred (conditional) reading, the actualization order is supplied by a real foliation; this document explains that structure's empirical concealment as the joint consequence of three contingent, parameterized identities — exact Lorentz invariance (the Mansouri–Sexl α̂ bound), the complementarity identity (derived within the model), and matched fiber equilibrium — each with a named breaking parameter that experiment constrains, addressing the Balashov–Janssen "unexplained conspiracy" objection. 3. Why Decomposition-Independence: The Dispositional Case for P4-mix (v1.3). The companion essay on the derivation's load-bearing premise: its exact statement, the positive dispositional case, a stress-test against the strongest objections, and an analysis showing the premise is experimentally enforced for all realized devices within the model's propensity ontology, with the residual scope stated exactly. The three documents cross-reference by section and are deposited together as one record; this is version 1. The framework was developed with AI assistance under the disclosed-provenance practice described in the paper's Author's Note and Acknowledgments; its mathematics has been verified independently by multiple methods, including hostile cross-model review, as documented there. Full development transcripts, referenced in the Acknowledgments as the authoritative attribution record, are available from the author on request; archival deposit of the transcripts is planned to follow. Each document is provided as PDF and as its Markdown source.

Version v0.5 — Journal-Polish Update This manuscript develops a conservative extension framework for Schrödinger dynamics in which an observed quantum system is embedded into an enlarged Hilbert space equipped with an auxiliary clock-information fiber. The main diagnostic object is a log-residual statistic, Rχ(t;σref)=log⁡Cobs(t;σref)−log⁡Cind(t;σref),R_\chi(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})=\log C_{\rm obs}(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})-\log C_{\rm ind}(t;\sigma_{\rm ref}),Rχ(t;σref)=logCobs(t;σref)−logCind(t;σref), together with reference-covariance indices such as Iχ(t;σref)=∂σrefRχ(t;σref),\mathcal I_\chi(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})=\partial_{\sigma_{\rm ref}}R_\chi(t;\sigma_{\rm ref}),Iχ(t;σref)=∂σrefRχ(t;σref), and covariance/correlation-based diagnostics over controlled reference settings. The synthetic fitting layer uses a representative model of the form Cobs(t;σref)=Cind(t)exp⁡[−a(σref)t2],\qquada(σref)=a0+a1σref2,C_{\rm obs}(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})=C_{\rm ind}(t)\exp[-a(\sigma_{\rm ref})t^2],\qquada(\sigma_{\rm ref})=a_0+a_1\sigma_{\rm ref}^2,Cobs(t;σref)=Cind(t)exp[−a(σref)t2],\qquada(σref)=a0+a1σref2, so that Rχ(t;σref)=−a(σref)t2.R_\chi(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})=-a(\sigma_{\rm ref})t^2.Rχ(t;σref)=−a(σref)t2. This example is intended as an identifiability demonstration: after calibrated independent-bath subtraction, a candidate clock-information fiber signature should appear as a reproducible residual with controlled reference covariance, rather than as an arbitrary fitting term. The experimental outlook focuses on Ramsey/spin-echo baselines, dynamical-decoupling response, superconducting qubit and Josephson platforms, tunneling phase-delay diagnostics, and reference-modulation protocols. The manuscript also formulates a common-bath control envelope, ∣Rχ(t;σref)−Rctrl(t;σref)∣≤δR(t;σref),|R_\chi(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})-R_{\rm ctrl}(t;\sigma_{\rm ref})|\le\delta_R(t;\sigma_{\rm ref}),∣Rχ(t;σref)−Rctrl(t;σref)∣≤δR(t;σref), to express the requirement that a proposed fiber residual should not be absorbed by generic common-bath control models within statistical uncertainty.
Version v1.0. This work develops a minimal effective framework for residual-sourced operational-time rescaling in a U(1)U(1)U(1) phase sector. The gauge-invariant residual one-form α=dΦ−A\alpha = d\Phi - Aα=dΦ−A is used to define a positive phenomenological clock response Lα=L0exp⁡(−λ∣α∣h2),dT=Lα ds.L_\alpha = L_0 \exp\left(-\lambda \vert{}\alpha\vert{}_h^2\right), \qquad dT = L_\alpha \, ds.Lα=L0exp(−λ∣α∣h2),dT=Lαds. In the scalar-lapse sector, the generator with respect to operational time is KT=Lα−1Hs.K_T = L_\alpha^{-1} H_s.KT=Lα−1Hs. Consequently, generator variance and pure-state quantum Fisher information scale as Lα−2L_\alpha^{-2}Lα−2, while the Bures line element of the same physical trajectory remains invariant under the reparameterization. The scalar lapse therefore changes information rate per unit operational time without, by itself, producing an intrinsic change in the quantum-state geometry. Independently of this kinematic construction, the paper considers an effective residual gradient flow α˙=−∇admA\dot{\alpha} = -\nabla_{\mathrm{adm}} \mathcal{A}α˙=−∇admA on a fixed Hilbert configuration space. This yields the Lyapunov identity ddTA[α(T)]=−∥∇admA∥H2≤0\frac{d}{dT} \mathcal{A}[\alpha(T)] = -\Vert{}\nabla_{\mathrm{adm}} \mathcal{A}\Vert{}_H^2 \le 0dTdA[α(T)]=−∥∇admA∥H2≤0 and a monotone residual-dissipation functional.
Operator nonscalarity: For KT=L−1/2HL−1/2,K_T = L^{-1/2} H L^{-1/2},KT=L−1/2HL−1/2, a strongly commuting clock operator L^\widehat LL is equivalent to a single scalar time rescaling only when it is spectrally scalar on the nonzero-energy support of H^\widehat HH. A minimal gauge-invariant realization is built from the residual one-form α=dΦ−A,\alpha = d\Phi - A,α=dΦ−A, which sources a positive operational lapse and a positive residual generator-cost form. If κi\kappa_iκi denotes the logarithmic clock response at vertex iii and DDD is the graph incidence matrix, then pairwise residuals satisfy r=Dκ.r = D\kappa.r=Dκ. On a connected graph, the global common mode is unidentifiable, while the cycle-space component provides an exact noiseless compatibility test for the scalar vertex-clock model. Loss of a positive lower bound is treated separately as a boundary flag B∂B_{\partial}B∂.
