P19A: Unifying Quantum Mechanics with Gravity, Demystifying Twenty Quantum Phenomena Including Half-Integer Spin, the Born Rule, Wave Function Collapse, and Higgs Physics
Abstract The Big Flare-Up Theory or BFUT Paper 19 established the quantitative substrate framework by deriving coupling constants, boson masses, the electroweak mixing angle, the deformation-domain gravitational structure, the quantum carrier equation, and the propagation basis of time from the single substrate density ρ_s. The present paper extends the BFUT programme to quantum mechanics, Higgs physics, and quantum consciousness. Gauge symmetry is reinterpreted as local circulation invariance of substrate condensations. The Schrödinger equation is reconstructed as the non-relativistic propagation limit of the effective local carrier field equation, F1, derived from the fully covariant substrate carrier equation F1-cov established in BFUT Paper 18. The Born rule is interpreted as substrate deformation-energy density, wavefunction collapse as substrate state resolution under interaction, and entanglement as shared coherent substrate structure instead of nonlocal signalling. Half-integer spin emerges from circulation topology of organised condensations within the substrate. The framework unifies time dilation, length contraction, redshift, and propagation delay as different manifestations of one underlying substrate propagation constraint. Quantum propagation, gravitational deformation, and relativistic structure are treated within a single carrier-based description. An independent fundamental Standard Model Higgs field does not exist in BFUT. The Higgs boson itself is real, experimentally confirmed, and independently predicted by BFUT: it is the collective excitation of the Spaticle substrate around its vacuum configuration. Particles are organised condensations of the substrate itself, with mass emerging from substrate deformation resistance, confinement stability, and propagation organisation. The observed Higgs boson at 125 GeV is reconstructed through the balancing relation, a structural geometric-mean prediction evaluated numerically using the measured top and Z masses: m_H = sqrt(m_t x m_Z) = 125.51 GeV [measured: 125.25 GeV, difference 0.21%] The same substrate balancing framework further predicts five additional collective substrate excitation modes at approximately 26.88 GeV, 85.6 GeV, 108.19 GeV, 117.84 GeV, and 139.62 GeV, arising from geometric balancing relations between fermionic confinement and electroweak topology-transition sectors within the Spaticle substrate. These resonances are interpreted not necessarily as elementary particles but as organised collective excitation modes of the substrate itself. The paper also develops the BFUT account of consciousness as part of the quantum interpretation programme. Consciousness is treated as a graded consequence of force-channel accessibility and substrate interaction instead of as a property emerging suddenly only in biological nervous systems. BFUT Papers 20 and 21 establish the formal Hierarchical Channel Accessibility framework and the Consciousness Index derivation across biological systems. The paper provides BFUT analyses of major interpretations in quantum physics and cosmology, including Copenhagen, many-worlds, decoherence, Orch-OR, quantum tunnelling, black holes, and fine-tuning. Each interpretation is analysed physically within the substrate framework, specifying where BFUT agrees, reframes, or renders the interpretation structurally unnecessary. The resulting framework presents matter, forces, gravitation, quantum behaviour, substrate propagation, and consciousness as different organisational manifestations of one continuous substrate architecture. Within BFUT, the constants and structures of physics are not disconnected empirical inputs but constrained consequences of substrate density, topology, propagation structure, and organised condensation dynamics.

We present the An Theory, a unified physical framework derived from one assumption (space consists of discrete, indivisible field quanta) and one rule (adjacent field quanta attract each other, with strength proportional to the product of their excitation levels, and strictly conserved total excitation). This rule is not ad hoc: it is structurally isomorphic to van der Waals forces, nuclear binding, the Casimir effect, and Bose–Einstein condensation. From this single rule, we derive the following key results: (1) stable self-bound topological structures with a “hard core + extended ripple” profile, which accounts for wave-particle duality and yields the Born rule in the weak-excitation limit; (2) Newtonian gravity (F ∝ M1M2/r²) as the macroscopic sum of all nearest-neighbor attractions, where the inverse-square law arises solely from 3D geometry and flux conservation; (3) gravitational and motion time dilation, the equivalence principle, the constancy of c, and Lorentz invariance as emergent phenomena; (4) an all-or-nothing threshold mechanism for quantum measurement, providing complete local realist accounts of double-slit interference, quantum erasure, delayed choice, and entanglement; (5) three independent fundamental forces—gravity (baseline attraction), the strong force (high-excitation contact binding, verified across 225 parameter combinations), and the electric force (permanent stress from topological orientation knots, verified in 2D and 3D)—with the magnetic force as the dynamic effect of moving electric charges; (6) the 3D Topological Slot Model, where fractional quark charges arise from the three orthogonal dimensions of space, and all 12 Standard Model fundamental fermions are classified by “geometric complexity × excitation level”; (7) quark confinement, verified using a three-component coupled GL equation with Josephson phase-locking; (8) the mass hierarchy resulting from coherence-length relaxation versus strong-force compression; (9) the topological origin of spin-1/2 from the double-connectedness of SO(3); (10) E = mc² derived from wave mechanics. The framework yields three falsifiable predictions: no fourth-generation fermions, no magnetic monopoles, and no fractional charges other than multiples of 1/3. Its central decisive prediction—a sharp threshold step in interference visibility versus path-marker coupling strength—is qualitatively incompatible with standard quantum mechanics and testable with existing equipment. All results follow from the single assumption + single rule, with no free parameters introduced beyond the foundational rule.
See changelog below. The full derivations are provided in the attached paper. Every result is reproducible from the stated inputs. This paper derives the complete Standard Model, quantum mechanics, spacetime, and gravity — 85 quantitative results at sub-percent precision spanning 15 orders of magnitude — from a single postulate, four structural principles, and one measurement. The Standard Model has seventeen free parameters. General relativity has no quantum theory. The measurement problem has been open for a century. The cosmological constant is wrong by 120 orders of magnitude. The question of why there is something rather than nothing has no physical answer in any existing framework. Each of these failures shares a common omission: none ask where time comes from. This paper takes that question seriously. A single physical principle — information cannot be destroyed — is self-sealing: its own violation is incoherent. Its formal expression is Postulate I: each foreclosed quantum branch produces exactly one chronon — a massless spin-1 gauge boson of U(1)_T, the unique gauge group forced by the complex ray structure of the Hilbert space and the single scalar collapse charge. We call it the chronon. Time is not the background in which physics happens; it is generated by physics, irreversibly, at every collapse. These requirements yield a single Lagrangian, ℒ_QT, that extends the Standard Model by one massless spin-1 field and one coupling constant. From this — combined with one measurement, Newton’s gravitational constant G — we derive: all of quantum mechanics via the Piron–Soler–Gleason chain (not assumed); the complete Standard Model with all dimensionless parameters determined; the complete resolution of the measurement problem, including the environmental decoherence cascade; and 85 quantitative physical results spanning fifteen orders of magnitude in energy. Three spatial dimensions follow from the channel-matching principle (D = N_c) and the Weinberg angle consistency condition (N_c = 3). The Big Bang was not initiated — it was mandatory. The numerical precision is sharp. The worst result where the theoretical prediction exceeds experimental precision is 0.5%. For the majority of results, the framework’s prediction is already more precise than the measurement. The proton-to-electron mass ratio m_p/m_e = 2N_cπ⁵(1 + α²/√(N_c²−1)) agrees to sub-ppb precision. The proton charge radius matches muonic hydrogen to five significant figures. The Higgs boson mass to 0.002% via the full cascade derivation (0.25% from the explicit formula). The W boson mass to 0.001%. The fine structure constant to 0.026% (1/α = 137 exactly at tree level). The cosmological constant — wrong by 120 orders of magnitude in standard QFT — is derived to 0.03%. The Hubble tension, a 5σ discrepancy unresolved in standard cosmology, follows from the same structure: H₀_local = H₀ × 13/12 = 73.0 km/s/Mpc (0.05%). All four PMNS neutrino mixing parameters, previously unexplained, are derived to sub-0.5%. Sub-percent agreement spans from neutrino mass splittings at ~9 meV to the CMB temperature at 2.725 K — fifteen orders of magnitude from a single dimensionful input. The framework makes ten falsifiable predictions currently under test: an electron electric dipole moment of exactly zero (ACME III is live); a spin-1 gravitational wave breathing mode at ~9% of the + polarisation amplitude (testable with LIGO O4/O5 data); no dark matter particle in any direct-detection experiment; no graviton — gravity is geometric drift in a proper-time gradient sourced by the energy-momentum tensor, not exchange of a spin-2 particle; there is nothing to detect. A confirmed non-zero electron EDM or a detected graviton falsifies the framework immediately. The logical order, from bottom to top: information cannot be destroyed → P-I (one chronon per foreclosed branch) → proposition lattice with axioms P0–P4 → Piron–Soler–Gleason chain → complex Hilbert space → ray phase redundancy → single scalar collapse charge → U(1)_T gauge field with Maxwell dynamics → channel-matching principle gives D = N_c → Weinberg angle selects N_c = 3 → D = 3 → adding G through the Planck cascade gives λ_conf = 0.40092 fm → the complete Standard Model follows. Spacetime, quantum mechanics, and the Standard Model are not independent inputs — they follow as consequences of P-I, the structural principles, and one observational consistency condition. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ v86 Changelog (April 7–8 2026) — All numerical results unchanged from v85. No formulas modified. Foundational structure and derivation justifications rebuilt following adversarial review by two independent AI systems (Claude, GPT-4o). Foundational hardening: §2.2: Formal axiom framework P0–P4 added. Piron lattice conditions now follow as a theorem given five named structural axioms, not as informal physical arguments. P-I motivates four directly; P0 (admissibility closure) is a structural axiom on the proposition space. §2.5: ℝ exclusion replaced. Old iε propagator argument replaced with operational compositionality / local tomography argument requiring no field-theoretic machinery. §3.1: Gauge derivation rebuilt from complex ray structure forward. U(1)_T now derived from phase redundancy + single scalar collapse charge + rank-1 compact Lie group + label-free emission. Removes prior dependence on Noether's theorem invocation and energy minimization principle. §8.1.1: Channel-matching theorem added. D = N_c derived from information-balance between spatial export channels and internal confinement channels via mismatch functional. Replaces prior mutual-reinforcement argument. §1.5.1: Epistemic taxonomy added classifying all 85 results into three tiers: theorem-level (Piron, Soler, Gleason), physical-argument (gauge structure, mass formulas), and observational-consistency (N_c = 3 from Weinberg angle, cascade from G). §12: New section — Structural Analysis. Result classification (5 epistemic tiers, ~12 independent core results, compression ratio 85:19), axiom necessity (what breaks without each of P0–P4 and D1–D4), and ablation tests (N_c = 2, N_c = 4, drop P4, change coupling exponent, allow D ≠ N_c — every perturbation destroys the majority of results). Framework premise expanded from "one postulate" to "one postulate, four structural principles, and one measurement." Front matter aligned with body throughout. One derivation story, no internal contradictions. Derivation upgrades: Proton-to-electron mass ratio (§9.3): Replaced "2 spin states × N_c colours" with rigorous hyperspherical decomposition. S³ forced by massless emission in (3+1)D; S⁵ forced by K=0 ground state of 3-quark system in 6D relative coordinates. Neutral pion mass (§9.9.1): Factor 5 now derived as 2N_c − 1. Denominator 2π identified as one-loop coefficient of U(1)_T vector gauge coupling. Neutron-proton mass difference (§9.3.2): Replaced "circular loop + straight line" with flux tube arm derivation. π from SU(2) isospin rotation; +1 from chromoelectric flux tube arm to Y-junction. CP phase δ (§9.8.2): Replaced "axial-to-spherical flux ratio" with V−A vertex structure. The ratio 4/π is universal across all generation spaces because any unitary rotation lies on a great circle of S². W boson mass corrections (§9.5.1): Both NLO terms fully derived. Direct vertex α_s/(8π): C_F cancelled by non-relativistic reduction. Exchange α_s/(12π²): two vertices × Dirac-to-colour projection ratio. Charm mass (§9.13.4): Factor 4/π identified as axial-to-vector coupling ratio through V−A weak vertex. Systematic correction — QCD dressing factor: The coefficient 1/(2π) appearing in ~10 results was previously attributed to "hemisphere projection geometry." Replaced throughout: mass in the chronon framework is a U(1)_T vector gauge coupling, not a scalar Yukawa coupling. The factor 1/2 confirmed by two independent routes: (i) Dirac algebra (γ^α γ^μ γ_α = −2γ^μ vs scalar = 4); (ii) C_F cancellation by non-relativistic reduction. Label correction: CKM geometric factor (§9.8.1): "four-dimensional solid angle" corrected to "three-dimensional solid angle S² = 4π." Numbers unchanged. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ v85 Changelog (April 6 2026) — Electroweak corrections, |V_cb| prediction, consistency audit Four physics improvements and a comprehensive numerical audit, all from first principles with zero free parameters. An Theory is founded on two original postulates: (1) a nearest-neighbor attraction rule for discrete field quanta, structurally analogous to van der Waals forces, nuclear binding, the Casimir effect, and Bose–Einstein condensation; and (2) a 3/3 topological configuration consisting of three orthogonal vortex slots in three-dimensional space, the only complete knot structure consistent with 3D rotational symmetry. All physical content presented herein is derived logically from these two principles, with no additional independent assumptions. From the nearest-neighbor attraction alone, the theory yields stable self-bound topological solitons with energy scaling as 1/r2, naturally explaining wave-particle duality, quantum nonlocality, and the Born rule. It recovers Newtonian gravity via macroscopic summation of microscopic attractions under 3D flux conservation. Its lattice action reduces to the nonlinear Klein–Gordon Lagrangian in the continuum limit, rendering Lorentz invariance a mathematical theorem rather than a postulate, with c2=K/ρ identified as lattice stiffness over inertial density. The nonrelativistic limit exactly reproduces the Schrödinger equation, while Goldstone modes and topological winding enforce integer charge quantization. A threshold-based topological collapse mechanism provides a locally realist description of quantum measurement, double-slit interference, quantum erasure, delayed choice, and entanglement. The strong force arises as high-excitation contact binding, the electric force as topological knot stress, and the magnetic force as the kinematic effect of moving charges. All elementary particles—photons, electrons, quarks—represent the same self-bound structure distinguished only by topological winding number. Probabilistic weak decay with fixed half-lives is derived from the stochastic TDGL equation via Kramers escape rates over topological energy barriers. From the 3/3 topological configuration follow fractional quark charges as geometric necessities, SU(3) color symmetry, and numerically verified quark confinement. The theory classifies all 12 Standard Model fundamental fermions by geometric complexity and excitation level, explains the mass hierarchy through coherence-length relaxation and strong-force compression, and derives spin-1/2 from the double-connectedness of SO(3). Three falsifiable predictions emerge: no fourth-generation fermions, no magnetic monopoles, and no fractional charges outside multiples of 1/3. A proposed experimental test concerns the threshold behavior of interference visibility under tunable path-marker coupling; deviations from the smooth V2+D2=1 envelope would carry significant theoretical implications. This work demonstrates that two fundamental principles may suffice to unify the core phenomena of fundamental physics, rather than relying on a set of disconnected empirical assumptions.

This work presents a unified, realistic, and mechanically grounded interpretation of fundamental physics across all scales, from quarks and elementary particles to atoms, macroscopic bodies, planetary motion, and black holes. The proposed framework provides a single coherent physical description capable of reproducing and explaining, within a common dynamical structure, the full range of phenomena traditionally treated separately by general relativity, quantum mechanics, and quantum electrodynamics. Within this approach, long-standing conceptual problems such as wave–particle duality, quantum interference, entanglement, and wavefunction collapse are not postulated as fundamental features of nature, but emerge naturally as dynamical properties of a physically real medium. The apparent dual behavior of matter and radiation, as well as nonlocal quantum correlations, arise from coherent and topologically constrained excitations of this medium, without invoking probabilistic ontologies or nonphysical abstractions. The theory is based on a revised physical concept of space, treated as a real superfluid medium endowed with density, elasticity, viscosity, permittivity, permeability, and a very small but non-zero electrical conductivity. In this model, space is no longer a passive geometric background, but an active physical system capable of storing, transmitting, and dissipating energy.Mass is interpreted as an isotropic compression of the superfluid, electric charge as an oriented torsional configuration, and fields as elastic stress and vorticity distributions of the medium itself. Electromagnetic and gravitational waves are described as propagating perturbations of the superfluid, while particles correspond to stable solitonic configurations sustained by the medium dynamics. At the microscopic level, starting from classical fluid equations (continuity and Euler equations) and applying the Madelung transformation, the Schrödinger equation is shown to emerge as a compact complex representation of the underlying real fluid dynamics, rather than as a fundamental postulate. Quantum phenomena such as quantization, tunneling, spin, and exclusion principles follow from stability, coherence, and topological constraints of solitonic wave structures. On cosmological scales, the same framework provides a unified interpretation of redshift, large-scale expansion phenomena, and the cosmic microwave background as cumulative dynamical and dissipative effects of wave propagation within the superfluid medium, rather than as consequences of metric expansion alone. Effects commonly attributed to dark matter and dark energy are reinterpreted as emergent manifestations of spatial density gradients, elastic stresses, and dissipative properties of the superfluid, without introducing additional unknown components. A wide range of experimentally verified phenomena—including the photoelectric effect, Compton scattering, Zeeman–Stark effects, the Aharonov–Bohm effect, Casimir effect, Unruh radiation, and cosmological attenuation effects—are consistently described within this unified framework. The proposed model offers an alternative foundational paradigm for physics, in which space, matter, and interactions emerge from a single physically intelligible dynamical system, restoring a continuous and causal description of nature from microscopic to cosmological scales.
AbstractThis work presents a unified geometric framework for quantum reality through four interconnected papers. It proposes that the coherent, non-separable correlations described by Hilbert space originate from an unobservable Energy Space, a fundamental substrate beyond spacetime that preserves perfect coherence and all conservation laws, thereby providing a geometric interpretation of quantum entanglement. Within this framework, the relation E = hf is interpreted as an encoding relation rather than a statement of physical energy actualization. During measurement, structural branching may occur, but Energy Space ensures that only one geometrically valid branch undergoes physical localization. Spacetime emerges from Energy Space as a passive geometric medium with intrinsic dynamic capabilities, giving rise to quantum objects and their interactions.Quantum objects are interpreted as dynamic geometric patterns of spacetime possessing an encoded geometric identity. Their physical properties, including mass, charge, spin, momentum, energy, wavelength, and phase, are fundamentally encoded in Energy Space and become physically actualized according to the interaction context and the degree of coherence or decoherence. The stability, transformation, and propagation of quantum objects are determined by their geometric compatibility with spacetime and with other quantum geometries.Electromagnetic, weak, and strong interactions are interpreted as direct interactions between compatible quantum-object geometries, whereas gravity is regarded as an indirect geometric interaction mediated through spacetime geometry. Geometric interactions may produce superposition, transformation into new quantum-object geometries, or the formation of larger composite geometric structures, providing a unified geometric interpretation of interactions, confinement, and composite systems.Within this geometric framework, a recursive geometric scaling parameter satisfying the invariant relation is proposed. Based on this hierarchy, phenomenological recursive scaling relations are developed for the lepton and quark families, suggesting a possible underlying geometric structure governing fermion masses, generational hierarchy, and relative stability. Finally, the Peak-Coupling Theory proposes that quantum localization and decoherence occur through discrete peak-coupling events between interacting quantum geometries at oscillatory extrema within a quantum wave packet. The wave envelope and phase continuously modulate the distribution of possible coupling events, while observable interaction probabilities may emerge from the squared magnitude of local coupling amplitudes, providing a possible geometric route toward the emergence of Born-rule probabilitiesTogether, these four papers present a unified conceptual framework in which Energy Space, spacetime, quantum objects, physical interactions, particle hierarchies, quantum measurement, and localization are interpreted as interconnected manifestations of an underlying geometric reality. These ideas are developed across four papers: Paper 1: Energy Space and Geometric Nature of Quantum Objects and Spacetime Paper 2: Quantum Geometry Paper 3: Lepton and Quark Generational Phenomenological Patterns; and Paper 4: Peak-Coupling Theory of Quantum Interaction
