A discrete relational model built from local difference, rotation, and closure — k-Flip Theory (A–E)

Abstract

**What happens if we start with relations rather than particles, fields, space, or time — and refuse to add new machinery every time the model fails?** k-Flip is an evolving exploratory framework built around a small discrete relation grammar and a 12-direction local structure. The project is intentionally split into layers so that formal machine results, geometric assumptions, and physical interpretation do not quietly become the same thing. This release collects three current English working documents: * **Volume A — Grammar (rev102):** asks what minimal relational structure survives after coordinates and physical names are stripped away, and develops a conditional route from local geometric closure to the 12-socket structure used downstream.* **Volume E — CORE Charter (rev25):** treats the local system as an executable finite machine. The current cycle reconstructs the machine independently from its wiring rules and subjects new claims to exhaustive computation rather than sampling, without introducing additional primitives.* **Volume C — Particles (rev108):** is a deliberately freer inference catalog. It asks whether recurring closure, open handoff, relation-class succession, composite formation, and non-destructive “purge” can serve as structural personas for familiar particle behavior — while explicitly forbidding those interpretations from being fed back into CORE as proof. Some of the more striking structures currently on the table include an **S₄ transposition dictionary for the six unoriented socket axes**, an angle-independent **+1 local closure-work cost** produced by an outstanding issuer obligation, non-return and freezing behavior under lock, and a persistent **axis-selected asymmetry** that appears when a return path is removed. The current grammar also turns out to contain no destructive operation: formation and deletion sit outside the existing inventory-preserving CORE, making “active-edge birth” one of the clearest unresolved boundaries of the model. On the speculative side, Volume C explores readings such as **electron = recurrent closure**, **photon = open handoff**, and **neutrino = history through changing relational classes**, together with composite and decay-like constructions. These are hypotheses and organizational devices, not established particle identifications. This is **not presented as a finished physical theory**. It is closer to an open research notebook that has gradually become executable: conjectures are kept alive, killed, demoted, or separated by provenance; failed mechanisms are retained when their failure is informative; and several important ingredients — including occurrence probabilities, physical time, scale, position dynamics, and the formation rule itself — remain explicitly unpaid. The invitation is simple: **break it, reproduce it, simplify it, or find a better interpretation of what the machine is actually doing.** Readers interested in discrete models, relational foundations, finite-state dynamics, emergent geometry, computational falsification, or simply unusually over-engineered thought experiments are very welcome.

The Relational Closure Framework: Toward an Axiomatization of Physics

Mingdong He

A finitist, relational axiomatization of physics: quantum theory and a relativity sector derived from four axioms about group-valued relations and closure. Contributions to the foundations of quantum mechanics (Born rule derivation, quantum reconstruction, local tomography, complex field selection), the emergence of time and causal structure in discrete networks, discrete Noether theorems, lattice gauge structure, and the Schrödinger equation derived by two independent routes. Every claim is graded in a Claim Ledger; every numerical claim is machine-verified with archived scripts; negative results are reported at full strength. What this paper does The universe is taken to be constituted by relations rather than objects. Stable relations form closures (self-consistent cycles) whose holonomies carry the physical content. Four axioms — primacy of relations (group-valued, edge-borne), closure stability, chirality from order, and observation as bidirectional group exchange — yield, at explicitly graded and conditional levels: Quantum sector Exchange-completeness theorems for finite label groups: abelian at all cycle ranks; non-abelian on the single cycle (Wilson readouts plus class-sum convolutions generate the full matrix algebra); the multi-cycle non-abelian case on the operational-equivalence quotient, with the obstruction completely characterized via class-preserving outer automorphisms — and the quotient's necessity now stratified by the source of word blindness (see New in Version 24.0). The Born rule, proved for finite abelian networks from a strictly weaker relational readout premise (statistics of realizable effects depend only on relational content); non-contextuality has this single source; additivity is basis-relative and declared as such. The Schrödinger equation by two routes of unequal premise grade, maintained side by side: a spectral route — the action operator is a weighted Cayley-graph Laplacian in the Pontryagin dual basis, the derived Gibbs state's unique canonical (modular) flow yields the Schrödinger equation with Hamiltonian equal to the action operator, no continuum limit, zero conjectures consumed, the single non-theorem step one flagged identification; and a Madelung route — physical and mechanism-rich (probability density derived from constraint gaps), valid exactly on the domain of the pseudo-continuity conjecture, with its full premise bill stated (continuity equation, Wallstrom circulation condition, m, V). A dedicated comparison subsection gives the line-by-line premise accounting and the machine-measured agreement region. Complex field selection: ℂ selected over ℝ and ℍ within the GPT comparison class in the covered sectors, with a second independent route from chirality (Frobenius–Schur dichotomy, quaternionic double exclusion); "uniquely selected" expressly not claimed. Positivity as pairing: all five in-text positive-semidefiniteness theorems traced to one mechanism (M = B†B with native factor); the Kraus form and complete positivity derived rather than assumed. The Noether sector on Noether's two theorems exactly: Noether I recovered on the holonomy action (compact Lie realization); Noether II identified as present (Bianchi as horn-filling, Schläfli as its Regge form); selection rules recovered for finite groups; the GNS bridge proved non-vacuously on the full exchange algebra; the sole potential extension — conservation as the kernel of exchange — isolated as a registered conjecture, consumed nowhere. A local–global representation theorem: six generative quantities (closure invariant, flux quantization, Weyl phase, non-abelian Stokes, orientation visibility, terminal normalization) are evaluations of cohomology classes against closed chains — one syntax, six exact machine probes. The gatekeeper no-go theorems registered and discharged: Kochen–Specker (the framework posits no global valuation — outcomes are resolutions of constraint gaps, and basis-relative additivity blocks state-independent variants), Pusey–Barrett–Rudolph (the statistical envelope is over resolutions yet to happen, not values already held; machine witness: identical configuration ensembles with opposite relative phase have opposite statistics), Wallstrom (registered as an explicit input, structurally discharged in the finite-abelian sector), Hegerfeldt (the Lieb–Robinson exponential tail identified as the only claimable front form for the continuum limit), Frauchiger–Renner (cross-agent certainty transfer presupposes kernel-free record transport, exactly what exchange-incompleteness excludes), and no-cloning (inherited in the covered sectors); Conway–Kochen and Colbeck–Renner noted as concordant. Relativity sector Time from finite capacity plus genuine randomness: the staging theorem (Θ(d) dependency depth, unbounded chains via the Moore bound; the quantitative failure law conditionalized on measure-level independence with exact minimal witnesses); the temporal quantum defined combinatorially, no Hamiltonian input. The speed of light grounded in an exact discrete dependency cone (combinatorial, no quantum input), the Lieb–Robinson bound consumed at cross-check grade only; a boost no-go theorem reducing Lorentz invariance to named statistical conditions, with the Collins fine-tuning objection recorded as a gate. The trace-descent theorem group: the growth-history measure forced onto the Mazurkiewicz trace quotient; chain reflection positivity at every depth with completely explicit spectrum. An equation sector of nine verification families (Schrödinger, Dirac, Maxwell/U(1), canonical commutator, Yang–Mills SU(2), Regge calculus, Klein–Gordon, Noether loop, Cartan curvature), where every machine-precision claim is the shadow of a proved backbone lemma — including the factor ½ of H = ½L + V, identified as the Wilson Fourier coefficient fixed by the action theorem. Four experimentally testable predictions, including a discriminating flat-versus-sigmoid visibility protocol. The Standard Model gauge group, ħ, and G remain open, with attack routes registered. How to read Three entry paths are marked in the document. Path A (derivational core): axioms → group structure → Noether sector → least action → Born rule → positivity. Path B (physical mechanisms): constraint propagation → time as determination → wave function as gap envelope → fields. Path C (scope and limits): the Claim Ledger, then Discussion and Open Problems — for the reader who wants to know what is claimed and what is not before reading anything else. The Claim Ledger is the single authoritative register of claim status; wherever body text sounds stronger, the Ledger governs. New in Version 24.0 (Version 23.0 is the immediately preceding public release; this version supersedes the internal V12–V15 and V17–V19 series, whose numbers are not used externally.) Version 24.0 resolves the structure of the multi-cycle non-abelian obstruction — the sector's longest-standing open front — following an external research exchange with three rounds of independent re-verification (fourteen core figures, three commutant instruments implemented independently, exact integer arithmetic on the obstruction side) and two rounds of counter-review that corrected one quantifier on each side: A dichotomy of the multi-cycle obstruction (new remark). Word blindness on multi-cycle networks has two identified sources, jointly covering every tested case, with opposite behaviour as cycle rank grows. Type I (global; graded): a class-preserving outer automorphism yields a commutant element by an argument free of cycle-rank reference; its non-triviality holds at theorem grade for b₁ ≥ d(G) via generating tuples, is monotone in b₁, and the threshold is measured at b_σ = 2 on the tested Wall group (at b₁ = 1 the permutation is the identity — no universal claim is made, and the existence of groups with threshold above 2 is registered open). Type II (local; measured): Out_c trivial but fusion fails on a proper subgroup, the blind pairs sitting in non-generating sectors — the same mechanism that defeats Wilson generation; this blindness heals: on every verified group (A₄, SL(2,3), A₄×ℤ₂) the full commutant collapses to trivial at b₁ = 3 by exact computation on two independently implemented instruments, although word readouts remain blind — the shift primitives separate, above a threshold, and the natural explanation (tuples becoming generating) is refuted by the persistence of blind blocks. Three boundaries at full strength: no exhaustiveness proof (a third source is not excluded); no general healing theorem (the verified groups all heal at 3, cause unidentified); the verified Type II sample is narrow. The quotient proposition restated in stratified form. The operational-equivalence quotient's necessity is now part of the proposition's own statement, in three strata: necessary where Out_c ≠ 1 at every b₁ ≥ b_σ(G), with b_σ ≤ d(G) at theorem grade; one-dimensional at b₁ = 2 on the fusion-type groups (verified cases); trivial at b₁ ≥ 3 on every verified fusion-type group and at every tested b₁ for word-separation-complete groups (a fourteen-group scan of orders ≤ 31 found no third source). Pre-registered validation preceded the restatement: a stratification-exhaustiveness scan (pass), a new-witness search (no new witness in range, downgrade clause applied as pre-registered), and a zero-conflict audit of the three strata against all archived data. The residual open problem is now precisely located. What remains of multi-cycle completeness: the rare Out_c ≠ 1 groups (54 in the exhaustive range through order 96) above their measured thresholds, the low-b₁ fusion stratum, a general healing theorem, and whether a threshold above 2 occurs. The multiplicity-freeness conjecture's mechanism sentence is corrected with the two regimes stated separately (at b₁ = 2 the shifts do not separate — the blind-pair transposition commutes with every primitive, integer-exact — and reduce the commutant to

k-Flip Theory / rev23: The Accidental Discovery of Quantum Spin in a Decentralized Ledger

t sato

We did not code physics. We did not input magic numbers. We simply coded a broken accounting system. The "k-Flip Theory" is the result of an extreme human-AI co-creation (t.sato x Claude x ChatGPT x Gemini). Rejecting the concepts of continuous space and magical forces, we refactored the universe into a decentralized, unstoppable transaction-processing network—a ledger trying to balance structurally unresolvable debts. During our rigorous debugging process, something chilling happened. When the AI (Claude) ran the raw simulation of this strict transactional grammar, it outputted an anomaly: a transaction cycle that requires exactly two full loops to return to its original state (a period-2 cycle). Looking at the raw logs, the human creator and the AIs realized with shock: this is the exact geometric and logical structure of "Quantum Spin 1/2" (the 720° rotation rule). We didn't aim for it. It spontaneously emerged from the rules of the ledger. This working paper (Volume A: Grammar & Volume E: CORE Charter) contains the strict rules of this reactive universe, alongside a "Discard Ledger" recording over 40 beautiful hypotheses ruthlessly crushed by adversarial AI stress-testing. We refuse curve-fitting. If it doesn't emerge naturally from the code, it's discarded. Read the ultimate Request for Comments (RFC) of the cosmos. The universe is not a geometric puzzle; it's a decentralized ledger.

Paper 23 - Quantum Reality Before the Symbols

Joe Bloggs

FRC Paper P-23 - Quantum Reality Before the Symbols A Finite Memory-Relay Reconstruction of Interference, Local Capture, Repeated Counts, Signed Interaction, Spin, Exclusion, Binding, Discrete Levels and Emission By Joe Bloggs “The quantum symbol may be the receipt. The question is what finite Reality had to do before the receipt could exist.” WHAT THIS MAY BE P-23 may be pointing towards a simple possibility: the familiar quantum symbols may be highly successful compressed receipts of a finite Reality whose causally relevant history is richer than the final measurement record. Across interference, repeated counts, signed interaction, magnetic response, spin, exclusion, binding, discrete levels and emission, the same less-compressed scene repeatedly survives the audit: a finite condition arrives carrying retained history; it meets an active boundary; not every continuation is compatible; the realised encounter changes the relation; the consequence is retained; and where physically handed forward it becomes part of the next event. If the CLOSE correspondences survive future quantitative tests, several apparently separate quantum mysteries may be different symbolic views of this one event grammar. The wave-like receipt may describe distributed route-conditioned memory before closure, while the particle-like receipt describes one local completed Capture. Probability may be a later count over finite histories that a nominal apparatus reset does not fully restore. A field may partly compress finite source-conditioned ancestry arriving at later boundaries. Spin may concern a complete Candidate-plus-landscape relation whose ordinary presentation has returned before every retained relationship has. Exclusion may be finite receiving capacity. Binding may be persistent admissibility under containment, compatibility and recurrence. Emission may be realised difference leaving a changed bound relation through finite Relay. WHAT THIS PAPER ESTABLISHES The formal claim is deliberately smaller than the possible reading. P-23 does not claim that FRC has replaced quantum mechanics, derived the Born rule, calculated the elementary charge, reproduced the electron magnetic moment, derived the hydrogen spectrum, or generated a universal event-local constitutive law. It does not treat wavefunction, spinor, gauge field or probability as disproved mathematics. It asks whether the observed receipts can be reconstructed through a lower-level finite causal grammar without importing those later symbolic objects as upstream causes. The paper establishes or source-locks the following layered results: · Interference: route availability and route-conditioned finite history can alter later compatibility before one local detector Capture; the quantitative fringe/Born law remains open. · Local detection: one realised compatible contact closes to one primary local Capture without a separate global-collapse primitive. · Repeated counts: finite recurrent and apparatus-dependent histories can generate stable finite count distributions before probability is named; Born correspondence remains open. · Signed interaction: the Candidate-E model contains two opposite role-relative structural sectors and cancelling signed handover bookkeeping; measured elementary charge and the full electric force law remain open. · Finite source-conditioned influence: retained source difference can be handed boundary-to-boundary along realised finite ancestry; isotropic field geometry and inverse-square magnitude are not derived. · Spin: neutron interferometry source-locks the reference-relative 2pi sign/4pi return receipt; the FRC physical bridge is CLOSE because the microscopic magnetic interaction-to-retained-memory update is not directly measured. · Exclusion: a one-capacity same-class refusal theorem is exact conditionally, and free-electron antibunching is source-locked operationally; universal physical Pauli identity remains CLOSE until the event-local capacity map is independently measured. · Binding: P-05b supplies an executed finite structural bound certificate inside its declared model, while real hydrogen supplies the physical bound-system receipt; physical Candidate-E/hydrogen identity and numerical binding remain CLOSE/open. · Discrete levels: finite recurrent bound-state classes are structurally discrete, while hydrogen spectroscopy supplies discrete physical receipts; numerical class-to-energy calibration remains open. · Emission: realised bound-state change can be represented by Capture -> Release -> finite Relay -> outward receipt; spectral-line records source-lock the observation class, while transition selection and quantitative energy/frequency derivation remain open. THE TERMINAL DISTINCTION The paper therefore closes a qualitative causal explanation only at explicitly layered EXACT/CLOSE grades. A complete target-blind quantitative replacement for quantum mechanics is not claimed. The remaining frontier is boundary-specific constitutive prediction, event-resolved evidence where internal order is not measured, and calibration from finite changed relation to measured action, energy, intensity, magnetic moment or frequency. Further progress must predict held-out receipts rather than rearrange the memory grammar after the answer is known. FRAMEWORK POSITION P-23 follows P-22 in Phase V - Reality Audit, Correspondence and Empirical Accountability. It is not a return to the earlier symbol-first quantum branch. Instead it uses Papers 21, 21a and 21b as the methodological filter through which the older finite-closure quantum papers are re-audited. Results from Papers 3, 11, 12 and 19 are retained only where they survive that stricter reality-first audit; downstream Hilbert, U(1), spinor, probability and eigenphase machinery is not allowed to become upstream physical authority merely because it reproduces familiar quantum language. The paper's primary structural ancestry is therefore: Primitive 0 and finite realisation -> compatibility filtering -> closure -> retained relational redundancy -> primitive structural matter -> finite restoration/recurrence -> certified Hydrogen-seed -> source-locked correspondence audit -> three-memory grammar -> reality-first reconstruction -> P-23 quantum reconstruction. P-22 is the immediately preceding programme paper and a methodological precedent for uncompressing successful mathematical receipts into a finite capture-relay account while preserving the original tested mathematics at its own layer. PEER-REPLAY The accompanying peer-review replay package follows the paper claim order and supplies deterministic finite replays, expected outputs, source-receipt metadata, selected PACKMAN provenance, original P-05b machine receipts required for the structural binding audit, a master runner and SHA-256 manifests. External journal PDFs are not redistributed; DOI and institutional routes are supplied so reviewers can retrieve the source records independently. The replay package tests what the paper says was executed. It does not convert a CLOSE physical correspondence into an EXACT physical identity. P-23 may be describing quantum mechanics as a successful symbolic compression of finite memory-relay Reality. What it establishes more narrowly is a contiguous, replayable qualitative causal reconstruction at explicit EXACT/CLOSE grades, with the numerical predictive bridge still open and falsifiable.

Quantum Mechanics at the Address: Schrödinger at the Quantum Address + Quantum Mechanics Makes Sense

R. Wade H. Marr, Joseph Adam Thiel

Quantum Mechanics at the Address Schrödinger at the Quantum Address + Quantum Mechanics Makes Sense OVERVIEW This archive presents a formal derivational recapture of quantum mechanics and its intelligibility companion, together showing how several of quantum theory’s canonical paradoxes arise when Address-relative representations are granted constitutive authority beyond the relations they retain. The archive contains two complementary works: Schrödinger at the Quantum Address: A Projected Operational Grammar of Quantum Mechanics — Version 1.2R. Wade H. Marr and Joseph Adam Thiel and Quantum Mechanics Makes Sense: Phase, Coupling, and the Recovery of an Intelligible Universe — Version 1.2R. Wade H. Marr The first carries the formal derivation. The second carries the recognition. Together they preserve the mathematics and experimental phenomena of quantum mechanics while retyping the explanatory offices of Schrödinger evolution, Born probability, wave/particle language, superposition, interference, decoherence, measurement, state update, entanglement, Bell correlation, and the observer. CONSEQUENCES OF THE DERIVATION The formal Projected Operational Grammar establishes several consequential results. Schrödinger evolution retains a richer phase-bearing articulation than the scalar probability readouts later extracted from it. The Schrödinger equation already retains complex evolution, coupled amplitude and phase, continuity, phase-dependent current, and linear phase-bearing composition before Born weighting, subsystem reduction, or conditional measurement readout enters. Born probability is placed as normalized quadratic participation at a Reduced measurement Address rather than promoted into the constitutive substance of physical occurrence. Born is not where phase becomes probability. Born is where phase-bearing participation is read through a Reduced outcome Address. Wave and particle are not two competing ontological species. Address and recursive relation remain upstream of projection. Within projected occurrence, the dependency is asymmetric: recursive relation → projected wave-bearing field articulation → phase-bearing recurrence → stabilized localized closure → “particle.” A particle is therefore not a primitive little object that mysteriously acquires wave properties. Particle is the noun given to a stabilized, localized standing-wave closure of the projected field articulation. A localized detector event is a third and distinct office: field articulation ≠ persistent localized closure ≠ localized measurement event. Accordingly: Localization of the readout does not imply localization of the complete prior articulation. A detector dot establishes a localized measurement occurrence. It does not retroactively derive a primitive localized traveler, trajectory, or independently constituted corpuscle before detection. Partial trace supplies a direct mathematical example of Reduced Address. A local quantum state can be exact for every observable retained at the local Address while remaining non-invertible relative to the fuller joint articulation. Reduced therefore does not mean defective. It means Address-relatively complete while relationally reduced with respect to a finer or joint Address. The conventional post-measurement state update decomposes into distinct mathematical offices. The measurement effect specifies outcome participation. The quantum instrument specifies the represented transformation associated with the measurement coupling. Conditional normalization gives the post-outcome representation at the Address retaining the resolved result. No additional mathematical operation corresponding to a separate ontological “collapse” is introduced by that decomposition. Bell Correlation Is Reconstructed Without an A → B Passage Operation At the explicitly scoped spin-½ singlet Address, the formal paper recovers: P(s,t ∣ 𝐚,𝐛) = ¼(1 − st 𝐚·𝐛) E(𝐚,𝐛) = −𝐚·𝐛 with constant local marginals, |S| = 2√2 at the maximizing CHSH settings, and the Tsirelson ceiling |S| ≤ 2√2. The joint correlation is reconstructed from the joint quantum articulation and differentiated local measurement Addresses without introducing an A → B passage operation. Bell’s theorem remains exactly what it is: it excludes the relevant locally factorizable hidden-variable reconstructions under its stated assumptions. The POG then asks what that mathematical result means when independently complete local objects were never installed as the upstream constitutive grammar in the first place. THE FORMAL DERIVATION Schrödinger at the Quantum Address The formal paper begins upstream of particles, probability, measurement, observer, independent space, independent time, and other familiar quantum primitives. From Availability to Projection (FAP) and the FAP D-Series remain upstream (see Related Works below). Schrödinger’s equation is then placed as the central inherited articulation at the quantum-mechanical Address. The paper does not promote Schrödinger’s equation into a new primitive. Rather, it asks what relational structure the equation already retains before later measurement representations reduce that structure into specialized readouts. From there, the paper integrates: Preserved Phase — coherent relative orientation, complex structure, invariant inner-product preservation, phase-sensitive cross-relation, and positive quadratic participation; Reduced Address — probability as normalized participation where operative distinctions remain unresolved; the Non-Reconstruction Lemma — when an Address projection is non-injective, a distinction collapsed by that projection cannot be uniquely reconstructed from the readout alone; Address-relative completeness — a reduced representation can be exact for everything its Address retains while remaining non-invertible relative to a fuller articulation; partial trace and decoherence — as direct quantum examples of relational structure becoming unavailable through a reduced subsystem Address without thereby becoming absent from the joint articulation; quantization and quantum jumps — separating discrete admissible modal structure from any unearned assumption of discontinuous ontological passage; wave/particle duality — recaptured through stabilized localized standing-wave closure rather than two independently constituted substances; measurement effects, instruments, and conditional states — separated according to their distinct mathematical offices; Bell correlation — reconstructed quantitatively from the scoped spinorial and singlet quantum Address without an A→BA\to B passage operation. The recurrent discipline is simple: A representation has explanatory authority only over the relations retained by its Address. And therefore: Do not explain an unresolved distinction by reifying the representation that does not resolve it. THE INTELLIGIBILITY COMPANION Quantum Mechanics Makes Sense The companion paper carries the same grammar at the resolution of recognition. It begins with the strange story commonly inherited around quantum mechanics: particles that are somehow waves, probability as the deepest substance of existence, measurement causing reality to collapse, observers creating outcomes, distant systems communicating instantaneously,Schrödinger’s cat as an advertisement for absurd reality, and “spooky action at a distance” as though Einstein had been naming a beloved feature of nature rather than objecting to an explanatory picture. The paper then moves upstream before returning to physics. Articulation, Awareness, Address, Occurrence, phase, coupling, recursion, closure, and Reduced Address are introduced through ordinary recognition: music, walking, conversation, misunderstanding, maps, measurement, story, and relationship. The purpose is not to claim that these occurrences share the same physical mechanism as quantum mechanics. The governing instruction is: DO NOT TRANSFER THE MECHANISM. TRACK THE RELATION. Once the grammar becomes recognizable, the reader returns to quantum mechanics with additional resolution. Schrödinger and Born become distinguishable by office. The observer is returned from an imagined position outside occurrence to differentiated participation within it. Entanglement begins from the joint articulation rather than from independently complete objects that somehow acquire relation afterward. The cat, the dice, and “spooky action” regain their historical orientation. Wave/particle duality is recaptured without replacing particle primacy with wave primacy. And the measurement problem decomposes into several distinct operations rather than remaining one undifferentiated mystery called “collapse.” The result is not an invitation to distrust quantum mechanics. It is an invitation to distinguish the mathematics, the measurement, the representation, and the story told about them. Use the map. Respect what it retains. Do not confuse it with the territory. DERIVATIONAL PROVENANCE These papers do not begin independently from quantum mechanics and work backward toward an explanatory philosophy. They are downstream articulations of a larger derivational body. From Availability to Projection supplies the upstream grammar from Availability through Address, recursive closure, projection, dimensional articulation, and projected field structure (see Related Works below). The FAP D-Series — Derivational Decompression reopens individual joints in that grammar at greater resolution, including refinement without continuity, progression without time, direction without spacing, succession without passage, phase through projection, and field-relative orientation (see Related Works below). The Relational Closure Framework

Mingdong He

# Project Description: The Relational Closure Framework (RCF) ## 1. Project Purpose and Background (研究目的与背景) Modern fundamental physics faces deep structural crises, primarily manifested in the mathematical and conceptual incompatibilities between General Relativity (space-time geometry) and Quantum Mechanics (probability amplitudes and non-locality). Most contemporary attempts at unification (such as String Theory or Loop Quantum Gravity) retain the classical paradigm of "objects" (e.g., strings, loops, points) or pre-existing spacetime backgrounds as their ontological starting point. The purpose of this research project is to develop and formalize the **Relational Closure Framework (RCF)**, a radical, background-independent, and purely relational foundation for physics. RCF operates on the core philosophical and mathematical premise that **relations are ontologically prior to objects**. Objects, spaces, fields, and particles do not possess inherent existence; instead, they are emergent phenomena. The framework systematically models how stable physical entities and laws arise from self-consistent, discrete cyclic relations called **closures**. When discrete relations close upon themselves, they generate topological invariants (**holonomies**) that act as structural anchors. The ultimate goal of this project is to provide a rigorous mathematical derivation of the core pillars of physics—including conservation laws, the principle of least action, Born’s rule, the speed of light, and the emergence of continuous spacetime—directly from the discrete algebraic properties of these closure networks. ## 2. Methodology and Theoretical Architecture (方法论与理论架构) The project proceeds axiomatically by establishing four primary structural axioms and one fundamental derived theorem, utilizing tools from abstract algebra, higher category theory, operator algebras (von Neumann algebras), and quantum information theory: * **Axiom 1 (Primacy of Relations):** Pure distinction forms the precursor to all relations. There are no pre-existing entities or backgrounds. * **Derived Theorem 1 (Non-Commutativity):** Because relations must occur sequentially to establish distinction, non-commutativity is a mathematically derived necessity, providing the foundational algebra for quantum observables. * **Axiom 2 (Closure-Induced Invariance):** Stable structures exist if and only if relations form self-consistent cyclic configurations. These closures generate topological invariants (holonomies) across different topological scales. * **Axiom 3 (Chirality from Order):** Spatial and structural chirality (such as the \mathbb{Z}_3 minimal non-trivial chiral closure) emerges inherently from the algebraic ordering of relations. * **Axiom 4 (Bidirectional Group Exchange):** Observation and physical measurement are modeled not as passive recordings, but as bidirectional group-theoretic exchanges between overlapping relational systems forming a joint closure. ## 3. Expected Outcomes and Key Derivations (预期数学成果与推导) The primary expected outcome of this project is a self-consistent mathematical physics framework that derives standard physics as a macroscopic statistical limit of the discrete network. Specifically, the framework delivers the following five principal theoretical results: * **A Generalized Noether Theorem:** The project proves that physical conservation laws are equivalent to the non-trivial kernel of the relational exchange map. In the continuous limit, this reduces to standard Noether currents, but in the discrete regime, it predicts strictly discrete, quantized conserved numbers. * **Derivation of the Least Action Principle:** The action functional (S) is derived as a direct function of the network’s closure invariants (holonomies). The classical principle of least action (\delta S = 0) is shown to be equivalent to a non-Abelian Kirchhoff's law enforcing relational consistency across the network, recovering Maxwell and Yang-Mills fields in the continuous limit. * **Emergence of the Speed of Light (c) and Causality:** Utilizing the **Lieb-Robinson bound** on discrete networks, the project demonstrates that the propagation of structural constraints has a finite, maximum velocity (v_{LR}). This maximum velocity is identified as the physical speed of light (c = v_{LR}). Consequently, causal consistency (the absence of closed timelike curves) emerges as a mathematical corollary of network locality. * **Derivation of the Born Rule:** Quantum randomness is explained via the **Nakajima-Zwanzig projection method** acting on the information limits of localized observers. By applying the **Gleason-Busch theorem**, the quadratic probability rule (|\alpha|^2) is derived rigorously from finite additivity and non-contextuality within the closure space. * **Origin of Spacetime and Wave Functions:** Physical spacetime is reinterpreted as a "pseudo-continuity"—a statistical artifact arising from mutually constraining discrete closures. Similarly, wave functions and the Schrödinger equation are derived as the statistical envelopes of underlying discrete constraint-gap dynamics. ## 4. Empirical Predictions and Observational Significance (经验预测与实验检验) While primarily a foundational and theoretical physics project, RCF yields distinct, falsifiable empirical predictions that differentiate it from standard quantum mechanics and general relativity, providing a clear pathway for future experimental validation (e.g., via multi-ion traps or superconducting qubit benchmarks): * **Observer-Capacity Dependent Decoherence:** RCF predicts that a quantum system's phase dephasing rate (\gamma_{deph}) is explicitly bounded by, and scales non-linearly with, the total information storage/processing capacity (C) of the local physical observer. * **The Quantum "Locking Phase Transition":** The framework predicts that when the information required to specify a quantum state (I_{req}) approaches the maximum capacity of the environment/observer (C), the system will undergo a sharp, non-linear phase transition, dramatically freezing its lifetime within its pointer basis. * **Non-Linear S-Shaped Trigger Curves:** In quantum erasure or interferometry tracking experiments, the interference visibility (V) as a function of information saturation (\Delta = I_{req} - C) is predicted to follow a distinct Sigmoid (S-shaped) curve, rather than the linear or pure exponential decay predicted by standard environmental decoherence models. * **Cosmological Entropy Bounds:** The framework provides a localized, boundary-driven explanation for de Sitter space entropy, predicting the maximum cosmological observer complexity to be bounded near S_{dS} \approx 10^{122} based on the global finiteness of the constraint network.

The Reid Conjecture: Observation as Emergent Dimension — Complete Document Package This repository contains the complete document package for the Reid Conjecture (Reid-Claude, 2026), a structured conjecture in the foundations of quantum mechanics proposing that the assumption of dimensional homogeneity — the implicit treatment of all dimensions as structurally identical — may constitute an unexamined constraint on foundational physics. By removing this assumption and introducing a taxonomy that classifies dimensions into three categorical types (geometric, experiential, emergent), the conjecture proposes that observation constitutes a bounded coordinate on an extended 5D manifold whose metric contribution is conditionally active. The governing dynamics are given by the Reid Equation: ∂Ψ/∂ω = −D̂Ψ The state of reality evolves along an observation axis the same way it evolves along time — but instead of changing what happens next, it determines what becomes real. The framework adds no new particles, forces, symmetries, or universes. It operates by removing a constraint, not adding structure. Explicit falsification conditions are stated throughout. Every claim is tagged [G] geometric, [D] dynamic, or [I] interpretive, with the interpretive layer explicitly expendable. What happens if we start with relations rather than particles, fields, space, or time — and refuse to add new machinery every time the model fails? k-Flip is an evolving exploratory framework built around a small discrete relation grammar and a 12-direction local structure. The project is intentionally split into layers so that formal machine results, geometric assumptions, and physical interpretation do not quietly become the same thing. This release collects three current English working documents: * Volume A — Grammar (rev102): asks what minimal relational structure survives after coordinates and physical names are stripped away, and develops a conditional route from local geometric closure to the 12-socket structure used downstream.* Volume E — CORE Charter (rev25): treats the local system as an executable finite machine. The current cycle reconstructs the machine independently from its wiring rules and subjects new claims to exhaustive computation rather than sampling, without introducing additional primitives.* Volume C — Particles (rev108): is a deliberately freer inference catalog. It asks whether recurring closure, open handoff, relation-class succession, composite formation, and non-destructive “purge” can serve as structural personas for familiar particle behavior — while explicitly forbidding those interpretations from being fed back into CORE as proof. Some of the more striking structures currently on the table include an S₄ transposition dictionary for the six unoriented socket axes, an angle-independent +1 local closure-work cost produced by an outstanding issuer obligation, non-return and freezing behavior under lock, and a persistent axis-selected asymmetry that appears when a return path is removed. The current grammar also turns out to contain no destructive operation: formation and deletion sit outside the existing inventory-preserving CORE, making “active-edge birth” one of the clearest unresolved boundaries of the model. On the speculative side, Volume C explores readings such as electron = recurrent closure, photon = open handoff, and neutrino = history through changing relational classes, together with composite and decay-like constructions. These are hypotheses and organizational devices, not established particle identifications. This is not presented as a finished physical theory. The invitation is simple: break it, reproduce it, simplify it, or find a better interpretation of what the machine is actually doing. Readers interested in discrete models, relational foundations, finite-state dynamics, emergent geometry, computational falsification, or simply unusually over-engineered thought experiments are very welcome.
The multiplicity-freeness conjecture's mechanism sentence is corrected with the two regimes stated separately (at b₁ = 2 the shifts do not separate — the blind-pair transposition commutes with every primitive, integer-exact — and reduce the commutant to
We did not code physics.
Documents included: Core Conjecture (3 documents): Document 1 — Conjecture Summary (one-page physicist-facing overview). Document 2 — Structured Conjecture Rev 1 (full paper with [G]/[D]/[I] tagging, explicit decoherence operator, candidate emergence function, and falsification table). Document 3 — Mathematical Formalization (14-page PDF with extended metric, fiber bundle structure, evolution equations, Bell correlation analysis, Lindblad recovery, and falsification appendix). Addenda (5 documents): Addendum A — Decoherence and Definiteness: the separation thesis, black hole application, Big Bang application. Addendum B — Working Notes Rev 2: Born rule as geometric measure, reference domain failure, heat death, taxonomy closure, operator uniqueness (resolved), and open problems catalogue with priority ordering. Addendum C — Observation Transport Field Rev 1: scalar field dynamics, decoherence inhomogeneity tensor, propagating decoherence modes, path-dependent entanglement degradation, gravitational corrections. Addendum D — Philosophical Implications Rev 1: observation as ontological act, irreversibility of distinction, bit from ω, reality as history, structural unknowability. Addendum E — Independent Arbitration: five-system convergence analysis across Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT (OpenAI), Copilot (Microsoft), Gemini (Google), and Grok (xAI). Supporting documents (2): Author Response to Philosophical Peer Review. Project Summary. The conjecture was developed by Aron Reid (independent researcher, Gibsons, BC, Canada) with mathematical formalization by Claude (Anthropic). Peer reviewed by Microsoft Copilot (adversarial structural and philosophical review), ChatGPT (initial technical critique), Gemini (guided blind derivation and independent arbitration), and Grok (constructive and hostile peer review). Submitted to the International Journal of Quantum Foundations (IJQF) at the invitation of the editor. Nox Mirabilis — Reid & Claude, 2026.
