ZETA: Identity Theory I Unifying Scalar Quantum Recurrence and 1PN Gravity One Exponential Admissibility Operator with One Parent Action derives Schrödinger and the Mercury Perihelion from Identity, predicting non-singularity at the extremes Preliminary paper of the ZETA Unification Programme Kirk Zavieh · ZETA Research Programme · London · 21 May 2026 SCOPE STATEMENT This paper establishes the founding ontology of ZETA Identity Theory and derives the admissibility operator’s two domain-specialisations — the Born density from the phase domain and Mercury’s 1PN perihelion advance from the loading domain — and names a 2PN candidate empirical separator from general relativity. In ZETA, the Primum is the continuous energetic medium of physical reality. Identity is the configuration of the Primum preserved across continuation — what of the past continues forward, what is admissible into the next moment. U is the local loading of the Primum at any point. We present the ZETA admissibility operator, where each identity continues via ∆ζ: ∆ζ(U) = e−U From this operator, read within the loading-as-ti-boost identification from the contracting identity–transmission eigenmode and then checked by the loading-domain composition conditions on observable attenuation, the operator has two domain-specialisations: loading (Sections 5–8) and phase (Section 9). Quantum recurrence (Section 9): stable phase- recurrence in the phase domain forces the complex amplitude representation ψ ∈ C, gives the loaded Schrödinger equation by narrow-band envelope reduction, and yields the Born density |ψ|2 as the projected conserved scalar of the U(1) Noether current within the positive- frequency narrow-band sector. 1PN gravity (Section 10): Mercury’s anomalous perihelion advance ∆π = 6πGM/[a(1 − e2)c2] = 42.98′′/century is fully derived within the stated ZETA weak-field reduction (static spherical source, test-body limit, 1PN order), with no Mercury-specific fitted coefficient. 2PN discriminators (Section 11): the gauge-invariant expansion ∆K = x2 +O(x3) is a candidate empirical separator from general relativity within the test-particle / circular-orbit approximation class. Beyond 2PN, the exponential structure of ∆ζ motivates a non-singular strong-field programme: because the loading operator remains finite under repeated formal differentiation and integration, ZETA predicts that the full nonlinear Primum sector may avoid horizons, central singularities, and boundary pathologies of the general-relativistic type. The proof is not contained in Paper I and is companion-paper material. Programme content named explicitly but not closed in this paper — master-action completion, Standard Model numerical content (fine-structure constant, Yukawa couplings, CKM/PMNS), full Born-rule branch-probability closure, measurement collapse, Yang-Mills extension, Pauli/Fock from identical-particle topology, relativistic Dirac structure, non- canonical Density Sphere channel, loop-level EFT naturalness audit — is companion-paper material (Foundations II and the technical companion). This is the unification claim of the framework: one Primum, one admissibility operator, one reciprocal parent action, with two derivational reductions (weak-field gravity and quantum-core recurrence) carried at the depth of this paper, and the strong-field reduction plus the full Lorentz EFT naturalness audit named as open programme content. The broader master manuscript embeds this reciprocal parent action in a seven-sector master-action programme with structural- forcing closure under a binary admissibility-character grading (Section 6); Paper I uses only the scalar / loading and bound-recurrence sectors needed for the worked results. The framework’s distinctive ontological commitment is the non-materialisation discipline (Section 13): only the Primum materialises; S3 does not bend, universal time does not dilate, the operator algebra is not a substance. The framework reinterprets relativistic effects traditionally ascribed to spacetime curvature or time dilation as effects on matter and radiation under loading, wherever the corresponding Primum-energy reduction has been derived. The paper does not claim a completed unified theory; it establishes the priority architecture and the worked derivational core.

Joshua K. Cliff, 2026 175 pages · 13 chapters · 4 appendices · 110 formal results · 83 proofs · CC BY 4.0 Overview This volume is the baseline monograph-to-physics bridge for Principal Dynamics. It specializes the domain-neutral foundation of the PD monograph (10.5281/zenodo.19334802) to the declared physics regime and proves theorem-bearing reductions to standard physics forms on declared admissible classes. The volume is positioned as a Layer 2 baseline regime extension under the Program Guide's claim taxonomy and EC1–EC8 charter. It does not alter axioms A1–A5 or any proved foundation theorem; it specializes the foundation to physics and closes the minimum bridge obligations required to make that specialization explicit and theorem-bearing. Quantitative closure, frontier closure, and empirical adequacy are routed outward to future work covering the relevant physics domains. Baseline-bridge results (closed at Volume I claim grade) The following physics-regime targets are closed within the volume on declared admissible classes: Schrödinger / Hilbert / CCR / unitarity at the Hamiltonian-window bridge grade, with local-core CCR, projected Hilbert sector, and Stone-unitary evolution from a self-adjoint Hamiltonian generator. Born rule and observable-functor uniqueness as a trace-form representation on the declared projected Hilbert readout class, with a target-blindness audit of the admissibility predicates. No-signaling for local CPTP/Kraus operations on tensor-product subsystems. Einstein equations as a variational reduction on the declared Lorentzian curvature branch with explicit boundary discipline (compact support or Gibbons–Hawking–York term) and the coupling identification κ_EH = c_eff⁴/(16πG_eff). Geodesic, Newtonian, and weak-field gravitational waves as branch-qualified asymptotic specializations. Yang–Mills and Maxwell equations as direct connection-variation bridges, with the spacetime base manifold and corrected configuration domain explicitly distinguished, and current conservation derived via Noether's second theorem. Free-energy dissipation and entropy-gate admissibility budget on declared dissipative branches. Lorentz emergence as capture on the declared connected Lorentz-admissible component satisfying the capture hypotheses, with global hyperbolicity treated as part of the Lorentz-window package. One-generation Standard-Model gauge-sector pattern selection within the declared admissible one-generation compact-connected envelope, with hypercharge rigidity (cubic anomaly identically satisfied; Witten anomaly satisfied by even doublet count) and a target-blindness audit. This is the Technical Supplement — the proof-dense companion and the canonical formal record for the paper's claims. The main paper argues; the supplement proves. Every load-bearing claim traces to a named check function in the APF verification engine, and the supplement is the document a referee should audit first. The supplement is self-contained for Paper 14: every definition, proof, and grade the paper rests on appears in this one document — the substrate primitives and the marginal admissibility floor, proved; the locality and cost-uniqueness lemmas; the Δ calculus with both fences' witnesses written out; the Boolean-defender bridge with its five certified physical hypotheses and the 3-4-5 worked witness computed on the page; the gate pipeline with a gate-by-axiom comparison to the operational-reconstruction literature (Hardy; Chiribella–D'Ariano–Perinotti; Masanes–Müller; Barnum–Wilce; Spekkens; Abramsky–Brandenburger); the native correlation family constructed explicitly, rung by rung; the resolution triad set against standard thermodynamics (Landauer, erasure, environment-assisted recovery); a consolidated readings register listing every claim below [P] with its falsifier and status; a glossary mapping the framework's vocabulary onto standard quantum-information terms; and a worked end-to-end instance — device to interrogation normal form to exact feasibility certificate to priced ledger, with every tolerance explicit. A reproducibility appendix pins every claim to the APF theorem bank at a named GitHub commit and the archived Engine release (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.18529115); the certificates reproduce deterministically in exact rational arithmetic. About the series. Admissibility Physics is a structural realist reconstruction program built on a single commitment: any bounded region of the world can hold only finitely many distinctions. A principle of least enforcement cost then selects, among all the ways those distinctions might be arranged, the configurations a finite world can sustain. From this the content of physics is reconstructed rather than postulated: the Standard Model's gauge group and matter content, the Hilbert-space and Born-rule architecture of quantum mechanics, the geometry and field equations of general relativity, the four laws of thermodynamics, and the large-scale budget of cosmology emerge as different readings of one finite-capacity ledger. The unification is quantitative as well as conceptual: the framework's dimensionless constants appear not as free parameters but as counts read off that ledger — among them the dark-energy fraction ΩΛ = 42/61 and the weak mixing angle sin2θW = 3/13 — fixed, in the strongest cases, to within current measurement. The core derivation runs Papers 0–11; the extension papers carry the individual sectors. Each paper's main text and Technical Supplement is deposited separately; every quantitative claim traces to a named, executable check in the public theorem bank (over 3,800 bank-registered theorems, 48 quantitative predictions); and each result is carried at an explicit, graded level of confidence — from analytically forced to structurally grounded — with the measurements that would refute it named. Admissibility Physics is offered as a candidate, not a finished theory. If the program holds, the laws of physics could not have been otherwise: they are what a finite world permits. A finitist, relational axiomatization of physics: quantum theory and a relativity sector derived from four axioms about group-valued relations and closure. Contributions to the foundations of quantum mechanics (Born rule derivation, quantum reconstruction, local tomography, complex field selection), the emergence of time and causal structure in discrete networks, discrete Noether theorems, lattice gauge structure, and the Schrödinger equation derived by two independent routes. Every claim is graded in a Claim Ledger; every numerical claim is machine-verified with archived scripts; negative results are reported at full strength. What this paper does The universe is taken to be constituted by relations rather than objects. Stable relations form closures (self-consistent cycles) whose holonomies carry the physical content. Four axioms — primacy of relations (group-valued, edge-borne), closure stability, chirality from order, and observation as bidirectional group exchange — yield, at explicitly graded and conditional levels: Quantum sector Exchange-completeness theorems for finite label groups: abelian at all cycle ranks; non-abelian on the single cycle (Wilson readouts plus class-sum convolutions generate the full matrix algebra); the multi-cycle non-abelian case on the operational-equivalence quotient, with the obstruction completely characterized via class-preserving outer automorphisms — and the quotient's necessity now stratified by the source of word blindness (see New in Version 24.0). The Born rule, proved for finite abelian networks from a strictly weaker relational readout premise (statistics of realizable effects depend only on relational content); non-contextuality has this single source; additivity is basis-relative and declared as such. The Schrödinger equation by two routes of unequal premise grade, maintained side by side: a spectral route — the action operator is a weighted Cayley-graph Laplacian in the Pontryagin dual basis, the derived Gibbs state's unique canonical (modular) flow yields the Schrödinger equation with Hamiltonian equal to the action operator, no continuum limit, zero conjectures consumed, the single non-theorem step one flagged identification; and a Madelung route — physical and mechanism-rich (probability density derived from constraint gaps), valid exactly on the domain of the pseudo-continuity conjecture, with its full premise bill stated (continuity equation, Wallstrom circulation condition, m, V). A dedicated comparison subsection gives the line-by-line premise accounting and the machine-measured agreement region. Complex field selection: ℂ selected over ℝ and ℍ within the GPT comparison class in the covered sectors, with a second independent route from chirality (Frobenius–Schur dichotomy, quaternionic double exclusion); "uniquely selected" expressly not claimed. Positivity as pairing: all five in-text positive-semidefiniteness theorems traced to one mechanism (M = B†B with native factor); the Kraus form and complete positivity derived rather than assumed. The Noether sector on Noether's two theorems exactly: Noether I recovered on the holonomy action (compact Lie realization); Noether II identified as present (Bianchi as horn-filling, Schläfli as its Regge form); selection rules recovered for finite groups; the GNS bridge proved non-vacuously on the full exchange algebra; the sole potential extension — conservation as the kernel of exchange — isolated as a registered conjecture, consumed nowhere. A local–global representation theorem: six generative quantities (closure invariant, flux quantization, Weyl phase, non-abelian Stokes, orientation visibility, terminal normalization) are evaluations of cohomology classes against closed chains — one syntax, six exact machine probes. The gatekeeper no-go theorems registered and discharged: Kochen–Specker (the framework posits no global valuation — outcomes are resolutions of constraint gaps, and basis-relative additivity blocks state-independent variants), Pusey–Barrett–Rudolph (the statistical envelope is over resolutions yet to happen, not values already held; machine witness: identical configuration ensembles with opposite relative phase have opposite statistics), Wallstrom (registered as an explicit input, structurally discharged in the finite-abelian sector), Hegerfeldt (the Lieb–Robinson exponential tail identified as the only claimable front form for the continuum limit), Frauchiger–Renner (cross-agent certainty transfer presupposes kernel-free record transport, exactly what exchange-incompleteness excludes), and no-cloning (inherited in the covered sectors); Conway–Kochen and Colbeck–Renner noted as concordant. Relativity sector Time from finite capacity plus genuine randomness: the staging theorem (Θ(d) dependency depth, unbounded chains via the Moore bound; the quantitative failure law conditionalized on measure-level independence with exact minimal witnesses); the temporal quantum defined combinatorially, no Hamiltonian input. The speed of light grounded in an exact discrete dependency cone (combinatorial, no quantum input), the Lieb–Robinson bound consumed at cross-check grade only; a boost no-go theorem reducing Lorentz invariance to named statistical conditions, with the Collins fine-tuning objection recorded as a gate. The trace-descent theorem group: the growth-history measure forced onto the Mazurkiewicz trace quotient; chain reflection positivity at every depth with completely explicit spectrum. An equation sector of nine verification families (Schrödinger, Dirac, Maxwell/U(1), canonical commutator, Yang–Mills SU(2), Regge calculus, Klein–Gordon, Noether loop, Cartan curvature), where every machine-precision claim is the shadow of a proved backbone lemma — including the factor ½ of H = ½L + V, identified as the Wilson Fourier coefficient fixed by the action theorem. Four experimentally testable predictions, including a discriminating flat-versus-sigmoid visibility protocol. The Standard Model gauge group, ħ, and G remain open, with attack routes registered. How to read Three entry paths are marked in the document. Path A (derivational core): axioms → group structure → Noether sector → least action → Born rule → positivity. Path B (physical mechanisms): constraint propagation → time as determination → wave function as gap envelope → fields. Path C (scope and limits): the Claim Ledger, then Discussion and Open Problems — for the reader who wants to know what is claimed and what is not before reading anything else. The Claim Ledger is the single authoritative register of claim status; wherever body text sounds stronger, the Ledger governs. New in Version 24.0 (Version 23.0 is the immediately preceding public release; this version supersedes the internal V12–V15 and V17–V19 series, whose numbers are not used externally.) Version 24.0 resolves the structure of the multi-cycle non-abelian obstruction — the sector's longest-standing open front — following an external research exchange with three rounds of independent re-verification (fourteen core figures, three commutant instruments implemented independently, exact integer arithmetic on the obstruction side) and two rounds of counter-review that corrected one quantifier on each side: A dichotomy of the multi-cycle obstruction (new remark). Word blindness on multi-cycle networks has two identified sources, jointly covering every tested case, with opposite behaviour as cycle rank grows. Type I (global; graded): a class-preserving outer automorphism yields a commutant element by an argument free of cycle-rank reference; its non-triviality holds at theorem grade for b₁ ≥ d(G) via generating tuples, is monotone in b₁, and the threshold is measured at b_σ = 2 on the tested Wall group (at b₁ = 1 the permutation is the identity — no universal claim is made, and the existence of groups with threshold above 2 is registered open). Type II (local; measured): Out_c trivial but fusion fails on a proper subgroup, the blind pairs sitting in non-generating sectors — the same mechanism that defeats Wilson generation; this blindness heals: on every verified group (A₄, SL(2,3), A₄×ℤ₂) the full commutant collapses to trivial at b₁ = 3 by exact computation on two independently implemented instruments, although word readouts remain blind — the shift primitives separate, above a threshold, and the natural explanation (tuples becoming generating) is refuted by the persistence of blind blocks. Three boundaries at full strength: no exhaustiveness proof (a third source is not excluded); no general healing theorem (the verified groups all heal at 3, cause unidentified); the verified Type II sample is narrow. The quotient proposition restated in stratified form. The operational-equivalence quotient's necessity is now part of the proposition's own statement, in three strata: necessary where Out_c ≠ 1 at every b₁ ≥ b_σ(G), with b_σ ≤ d(G) at theorem grade; one-dimensional at b₁ = 2 on the fusion-type groups (verified cases); trivial at b₁ ≥ 3 on every verified fusion-type group and at every tested b₁ for word-separation-complete groups (a fourteen-group scan of orders ≤ 31 found no third source). Pre-registered validation preceded the restatement: a stratification-exhaustiveness scan (pass), a new-witness search (no new witness in range, downgrade clause applied as pre-registered), and a zero-conflict audit of the three strata against all archived data. The residual open problem is now precisely located. What remains of multi-cycle completeness: the rare Out_c ≠ 1 groups (54 in the exhaustive range through order 96) above their measured thresholds, the low-b₁ fusion stratum, a general healing theorem, and whether a threshold above 2 occurs. The multiplicity-freeness conjecture's mechanism sentence is corrected with the two regimes stated separately (at b₁ = 2 the shifts do not separate — the blind-pair transposition commutes with every primitive, integer-exact — and reduce the commutant to
This record contains Version 2.0 of The Schrödinger Equation from Capacity Geometry: General Forced-Action Theorem on a Fixed Capacity Background. Version 2.0 supersedes the earlier narrower local formulation (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19118007). The earlier record worked within a restricted quadratic-gradient density class. The present record proves the same result on the full local first-order homogeneous density class, with the weighted bulk-plus-flux bridge as the load-bearing structural principle rather than a minimality assumption on derivative order. The theorem lane is therefore broader, the claim boundaries are cleaner, and the companion-note dependence has been updated to reflect the current SGOC corpus. This record DOI. 10.5281/zenodo.19189901 should be treated as the source-of-record citation for the general fixed-background Schrödinger result. The paper proves a narrow but exact claim: within the full first-order homogeneous density class compatible with continuity-current structure, the Fisher-corrected Madelung action is the unique admissible action family up to the stated constant, and its Euler–Lagrange equations are exactly the Schrödinger equation. The decisive density correction is forced inside an upstream capacity-geometric theorem base rather than inserted by a diffusion or stochastic postulate. The logical scaffold is explicit and limited. Part 1A fixes the canonical logarithmic capacity scalar and the unique quadratic base tension. Parts 6 and 7A isolate the phase-blindness ceiling for the continuous quadratic sector. Part 6A sharpens the localisation-versus-smoothing and forced-balance framework. The present paper then shows that continuity-current compatibility fixes the phase sector, locality and first-order dependence force the full homogeneous density family, and a universal weighted bulk-plus-flux bridge with field-independent coefficients forces the Fisher form. The canonical member of that family is fixed by the bridge to the imported capacity scalar. In that precise sense the logical order at the Schrödinger layer is reversed: the geometric base comes first, and the Schrödinger action appears downstream of it. The claim is exact within its lane and no broader. This is a fixed-background, single-particle theorem stated away from nodal sets. It does not claim a many-body theory, a measurement theory, a relativistic completion, a full nodal-complement reconstruction theorem, or backreaction of the quantum sector on the background geometry. Appendix D records that on a nodal-complement component, once the phase-sensitive completion is an S¹-valued phase field, circulation quantisation and wavefunction reconstruction are automatic. Appendix G records a conditional H¹-closure lane inside the same fixed-background action. The discrete-curvature and branch-bookkeeping support used on nodal-complement triangulations belongs to the companion Closure Phase note, while the further complement-globalisation step belongs to the companion Relative Cohomology note. The Spectral Geometry of Coherence (SGOC) is a research programme asking whether one forced geometric scalar can act as a common interface between quantum mechanics, gravity, and arithmetic structure. The central object is a scalar field called Sc, Sc = −log(1 − R²), where R measures the normalized coherence between two coupled channels. Sc is not chosen arbitrarily. It is the coordinate forced by the programme’s own transport law: multiplicative slack becomes additive capacity. From this scalar, together with the declared fixed-background action class, SGOC derives the nonrelativistic Schrödinger equation as a forced geometric consequence rather than taking it as a starting postulate. The same scalar also controls capacity-metric curvature and satisfies an exact identity linking three objects normally discussed in separate settings: the quantum potential, scalar curvature, and an Unruh-type temperature. This is the Jacobson-Schrodinger compatibility law. The most recent arithmetic results show that, on a selected mathematical branch, the same scalar is also a zeta scalar: Sc = log ζ(σ). In that branch, Sc is a lossless register of prime-power source data. A conditional theorem then connects prime source data, through canonical Sc, to a selected tensorial Plebanski-Einstein gravity branch. The theorem is not a claim that primes vaguely “look like” gravity; it is a conditional chain with stated hypotheses and failure modes. The Wallstrom problem, a long-standing obstacle for geometric derivations of quantum mechanics, is addressed directly. Multiple branches are resolved under stated hypotheses, while the remaining open problems are named rather than hidden. The programme is large and modular, explicit about boundaries, and covers many papers and more results of substance than the selected highlights above shows. Some results are clean theorems. Others are conditional on named assumptions. Some are numerical audits with stated controls. Several attractive routes are ruled out by negative results, including a density-collapse result showing that smoothed scalar density alone cannot carry the full arithmetic content. All results are provisional pending independent expert review. This document is a pedagogical companion to the fully technical version: SGOC Programme Compendium – Technical, 10.5281/zenodo.19614677
This paper tells the quantum-mechanical account of Admissibility Physics in one place, from the first declared fact to the last committed record. From a single finite-capacity axiom (A1) plus one declared occupancy fact, the story runs through the Δ calculus that prices jointness (Δ = ε(J − R), derived, with two fences: Δ is not an information functional, and Δ > 0 is not a quantum criterion); the separable / irreducibly-joint fork, decided by an exact Boole-polytope feasibility test; the Boolean-defender bridge that forces noncommutativity where the global Boolean section fails; the gate pipeline that earns complex Hilbert space and the finite Born trace rule as endpoint theorems rather than postulates; the correlation ladder from product states to Tsirelson, with a native family ceiling 2√2·102/103 carried at honest reading grade with a live falsifier; resolution as a class transition, with the free/spend/permanent triad proved as a composition of banked theorems and measurement, decoherence, the Page curve, and the Diósi–Penrose scale as four worked instances of one mechanism; and the arrow of time as the one-way ratchet of the admissibility floor — confinement, the second law, and the quantum as one axis read at graded strengths. Every load-bearing step is anchored to a named, machine-verified check function in the APF theorem bank; the grade of each step is stated where the step is made; and everything the story does not claim is stated in one place. The Technical Supplement (deposited alongside and linked from this record) is self-contained for this paper: every definition, proof, and grade the story rests on, in one document, with a worked end-to-end instance and a reproducibility appendix pinning the theorem bank to a public repository and an archived release.
