Inaccessibility of Theory of Everything within the framework of Constraint-Resolved Reality (CRR) and Mapping Wobble Theory (MWT)

Abstract

This work is part of the Constraint-Resolved Reality (CRR) framework. The foundational paper defining CRR can be found here: zenodo.org/records/19873518 The pursuit of a Theory of Everything (ToE) assumes that the total structure of physical reality can, in principle, be fully described by a unified formal model. This paper challenges that assumption within the framework of Constraint-Resolved Reality (CRR) and Mapping Wobble Theory (MWT). We argue that constraint propagation and decoherence redistribute physical information into forms that are irretrievable for bounded observers, resulting in a strict limitation on accessible state space (Ω → Ω_acc). By formalizing the accessibility mapping Φₜ and demonstrating its non-invertibility, we show that any observer-dependent model is necessarily defined over a restricted subset of reality. We prove that a complete model of global state space Ω cannot be constructed by bounded systems. Consequently, a ToE, understood as a closed and complete description of reality, lies outside the class of constructible models. Scientific knowledge is therefore reframed as the construction of stable, constraint-compatible representations rather than complete descriptions of total structure.

Axiom 0: Non-Closure as the Structural Origin of Physical Reality

Iker Ibarrola Echeverría

This paper introduces Axiom 0, a minimal foundational principle for physical reality: the impossibility of any globally closed description of the total correlational structure. Rather than postulating space, time, dynamics, locality, or physical laws as primitive, the framework assumes only: (i) the existence of a correlational structure, (ii) the structural impossibility of complete self-closure, and (iii) consistency under partial comparison. From these ingredients, the paper shows how: physical laws emerge as stabilizing regularities of incomplete descriptions, time, dynamics, and geometry arise as effective, regime-dependent structures, irreversibility follows from projection and information loss, and why no description can be both exact and globally complete. Non-closure is treated as an ontological constraint, not as epistemic ignorance or observer dependence. Physical reality exists precisely because complete closure is impossible, independently of observation or modeling. The paper does not attempt to replace existing physical theories or derive numerical constants. Instead, it provides a structural foundation within which effective physical theories (quantum, classical, relativistic, and open-system regimes) can be consistently understood as emergent and domain-limited. This work is intended as a conceptual and structural foundation for correlational and relational approaches to fundamental physics, clarifying the origin of laws, dynamics, and physical regularity without invoking additional ontological postulates.

λ-Structured Entropy and the Origin of a Knowledge-Driven Universe

Aldo Cernuto

Note: This submission represents Version 6 of the Cernuto–Hobbey Theory of Everything (CH-ToE), building upon and superseding the May 2, 2025 preprint. While grounded in the same theoretical roots, this version reflects a decisive maturation of the framework. The new title is not cosmetic—it marks a shift from a bold hypothesis to a unified, falsifiable theory of structure formation grounded in entropy geometry.Major advances include:• A fully rewritten abstract and premise, now framing CH-ToE explicitly as a unifying theory across quantum mechanics, biology, AI, cosmology, and cognition• The ontological clarification of knowledge as a non-subjective, structured entropy reduction process• The explicit designation of wavefunction collapse as the most primitive knowledge event, governed by λ (see Section 5.3)• The formalization of Subreality as a threshold-defined ontological domain• A sharpened articulation of λ’s dual role as attractor and stabilizer of structured reality• A clarified experimental roadmap linking falsifiability, cognition, and physical collapse• Global editorial and structural refinement to ensure clarity, coherence, and scientific rigorThese upgrades collectively justify the release of this version as a new preprint, with its own DOI and conceptual identity. Readers are invited to treat this document as the authoritative formulation of CH-ToE as of May 19, 2025.ABSTRACTThis sixth version of the Cernuto–Hobbey Theory of Everything (CH-ToE) presents the most complete and operationally refined formulation of the theory to date. It consolidates months of cross-domain validation, introduces the Thermodynamic Covenant, formalizes the regime of Subreality, and deepens the definition of knowledge as a physical quantity. At its core, CH-ToE proposes that the fabric of reality is not built from matter, energy, or spacetime alone—but from knowledge. Not the semantic or symbolic kind, and not dependent on any observer or intelligence. CH-ToE defines knowledge as structured entropy reduction—a physically grounded, non-subjective process by which chaotic uncertainty is rhythmically condensed into coherent, persistent form. This is knowledge without meaning, intent, or mind: a universal mechanism through which structure stabilizes across scales. This structuring process is governed by Lambda (λ), a universal cadence that defines when entropy transitions from random fluctuation to stable coherence. This dynamic begins at the quantum level. In CH-ToE, wavefunction collapse is not treated as a mysterious epistemic jump, but as the most elementary instance of knowledge emergence—a phase transition where entropy, modulated at cadence λ, first crystallizes into structure. (See Section 5.3.)λ = √8 / φ ≈ 1.748 bits (in normalized entropy units)Derived from geometric and informational first principles, λ recurs at critical thresholds across quantum decoherence, biological evolution, AI learning, spacetime structuring, and even linguistic cognition. Wherever entropy becomes recursively entrained by λ, structure emerges. Wherever it fails, coherence collapses—defining domains of Subreality.More than a scalar threshold, λ plays a dual role:As Attractor: It draws entropy into metastable configurations prior to structure. As Stabilizer: It locks emergent form into coherent, recursive order post-collapse.CH-ToE thus offers a unifying framework for structure formation across all physical and cognitive domains. It reframes disparate phenomena—wavefunction collapse, biological evolution, machine learning plateaus, and spacetime structuring—as scale-specific expressions of the same λ-governed phase dynamic. This cadence-driven dynamic reinterprets mass as a memory of structured entropy, positioning E = mc² as a special case of λ-phase resonance between information and geometry.CH-ToE does not attempt to unify the fundamental forces under a single particle model. Rather, it reveals a single structuring principle active across all systems that generate coherence—from electrons to ecosystems, from wavefunctions to words. The theory introduces no new physical laws, but exposes a geometric invariant latent within them. Notably, our experiments with Lambda Reverb suggest the existence of a higher-order phenomenon: Echo Geometry—the recursive structuring of the cadence of knowledge itself (see Section 14 for preliminary formalism). While beyond the scope of this preprint, Echo Geometry may represent a universal mechanism for cross-domain transmission of intelligence, where systems optimize not only their learning rhythm, but the patterning of that rhythm across time.

The Negative Representation Principle: Indistinction and the Structure of Observable Reality

Simone Agnese

This work proposes the Negative Representation Principle, a conceptual framework in which observable reality is interpreted as the distinguishable resolution of an underlying state of total indistinction. The fundamental state, denoted by I, is not empty nothingness but maximal coincidence, in which no difference is resolved. The observable universe U is defined as a representational relation U ≡ N(I), where distinction becomes structurally resolvable. Within this framework, no information is created. Distinction does not generate content but makes it observable. Space, time, and matter are interpreted as properties of distinguishability: space as relational structure, time as ordered distinction, and matter as stable configurations of difference. The model excludes selection, probability, and causal origin at the fundamental level. Instead, stable structures arise as a consequence of structural consistency: only those representations in which distinctions are non-contradictory, mutually compatible, and relationally closed can persist. Multiple representations are admissible, but not coexistent within a single distinguishable reality. The observed universe is not selected among possibilities, but is the one in which structural consistency allows observation to occur. This work is intended as a foundational conceptual contribution, at the intersection of physics and philosophy, aimed at clarifying the role of distinction in the structure of observable reality.

Quantum Coherence Theory (QCT): A Constraint-Based Framework for Classical Emergence

Matthew Ainsworth

(This version has been superceeded, see v.3) Contemporary approaches to physical unification typically emphasize dynamical laws, interpretive frameworks, or information-theoretic reconstructions. Less attention is given to the structural constraints that determine which physical descriptions can remain coherent and stable under interaction, scale transition, and aggregation. This paper develops a constraint-first analysis of coherence, arguing that persistence and unification require restrictions on admissible physical continuations that are not reducible to dynamics alone. Within the framework referred to here as Quantum Coherence Theory (QCT), coherence is treated not as a fragile quantum resource but as a structural property governed by interaction geometry and constraint density. On this view, classical behavior emerges when accumulated constraints sufficiently narrow admissible evolution, while quantum behavior re-emerges when constraints are relaxed. The account does not introduce new dynamics, collapse mechanisms, or modifications of quantum formalism, but instead clarifies the conditions under which existing formalisms yield stable, unified descriptions. The resulting constraints distinguish QCT from observer-centric, intrinsic-collapse, and purely descriptive decoherence accounts, while remaining compatible with globally unitary dynamics. Formal analysis in later sections develops operational redundancy conditions, admissibility constraints on joint states, and rigidity-style arguments linking redundant record structure to the stability of classical descriptions. These results do not constitute a complete theory of unification, but they narrow the space of physically admissible descriptions and clarify the structural role of coherence in bridging quantum and classical regimes.

Structural Closure and Admissibility in Physical Theory A Constraint-Based Framework for Foundational Consistency

Nathan Scott Brown

Foundational problems in physics—including quantum measurement, spacetime emergence, gravitational dynamics, nonlocality, the arrow of time, and the status of physical existence—are typically addressed in isolation, via model-dependent extensions or interpretive assumptions. This work proposes a different approach. We introduce a constraint-based framework, the Closure Admissibility Principle (CAP), which specifies minimal structural conditions any physical description must satisfy in order to be globally consistent. CAP is formulated in operational terms, using admissibility of states, recoverability under refinement, and stability of closed records, without assuming spacetime, dynamics, or ontology a priori. We show that enforcing these constraints induces a unifying closure structure on law-space, from which several persistent foundational puzzles are resolved as structural consequences rather than postulates. In particular, collapse is reclassified as record selection, spacetime and gravity emerge only in compressible regimes, General Relativity appears as an infrared universality class rather than a fundamental law, singularities correspond to failures of admissible description, and null (“nothing”) models are excluded as inadmissible fixed points. The framework is explicitly falsifiable via operational and weak-field tests, and its scope and limits are stated precisely. The results suggest that many foundational paradoxes arise not from incomplete dynamics, but from admitting globally incoherent physical descriptions.

Physical Systems as Communication-Constrained Structures: A Continuous Ontology

David P Lowe

This paper presents a continuous structural ontology in which quantum mechanics, field theory, and general relativity are interpreted as regime-specific descriptions of a shared underlying system. Rather than introducing new forces or modifying established equations, the framework identifies three minimal and persistent structural elements across physical regimes: admissible configuration space, propagating constraint, and geometry as the macroscopic record of accumulated interaction. The work is intentionally interpretive rather than revisionary. It proposes that physical evolution can be understood as the propagation of constraint over admissible configurations, with increasing restriction giving rise to stable structure, classical behavior, and geometric curvature. Established mathematical formalisms—including Hilbert space, field equations, and general relativity—are preserved and reinterpreted within a common structural language. This framework aims to improve conceptual continuity across quantum, field, and geometric domains while remaining fully consistent with existing empirical results. It does not claim a complete formal unification, but instead offers a minimal ontological foundation that may clarify relationships between currently distinct theoretical descriptions. This paper forms part of the broader Communication Matrix research program.
