Collapse as conditioning on a recorded address sector Version: 4.0 First public release: 2026-05-11 Current release: 2026-06-26 Concept DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20114403 Author: Ali Attar Website: quantumtraction.org Main book anchor: Quantum Traction Theory: Main Book v10.01 The measurement problem asks why a wavefunction that evolves smoothly appears to select one recorded outcome. This paper changes the primitive object: the laboratory wavefunction is not the source ledger itself, but a projection of a real- \(J\), address-indexed substrate amplitude, \[ \rho((x,n)\mid T). \] The laboratory wavefunction is the access readout \[ \Psi(x,\tau) = {1\over\sqrt{\mathcal N_\Psi}} \sum_{n\in\mathbb Z}\rho((x,n)\mid T(\tau)). \] Observation is address co-location, \[ a(S,T)=a(O,T)=n, \] and measurement is observation plus a calibrated durable record. The laboratory collapse rule becomes conditional access to the recorded sector: \[ \rho_{S\mid r}^{\mathrm{lab}} = {\operatorname{Tr}_{AE}\,\mathcal M_r(\rho_{SAE}) \over \operatorname{Tr}\,\mathcal M_r(\rho_{SAE})}. \] The access structure also gives the modified commutator and uncertainty floor \[ [\hat X,\hat P] =J\hbar(I-\hat M_w), \qquad \Delta X\,\Delta P \ge {\hbar\over2}(1-\eta), \qquad \eta=\operatorname{Tr}(\rho\hat M_w). \] The empirical timing/energy audit object is \[ R_{\mathrm{QTT}} = {\Delta t\,\Delta E \over (\hbar/2)(1-\eta)\Upsilon(N)} \ge1. \] Read this paper as a finite-access account of observation: no separate collapse force, no adjustable collapse rate, and no signalling channel from access modulation. Reading the Schrödinger Hamiltonian as a laboratory shadow of a real source generator Version: 3.04 Concept DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20484906 Author: Ali Attar Website: quantumtraction.org Main book anchor: Quantum Traction Theory: Main Book v10.01 Textbook quantum mechanics begins with a Hamiltonian operator acting in laboratory time. This framework asks what that operator is a readout of when the source layer is a finite ledger of completed address events, a real phase rotor, and a capacity ceiling. The source evolution equation is real- J: JΣℏ∂T∣ρΣ⟩=HΣsrc∣ρΣ⟩. After a declared access window represents the real J-dial by the laboratory imaginary unit and selects the lab clock, the familiar equation appears: iℏ∂tlabψ=HWlabψ. The Hamiltonian constructor order is therefore completed address events⟶real J-source module⟶HΣsrc⟶Access Law⟶HWlab. The no-retune condition is ∂{observed spectrum, fitted laboratory constants}∂HΣsrc=0. The paper is a framework for writing QTT sector Hamiltonians: name the completed event set, define the source generator, state the A6/A7 capacity and closure gates, project through access, and then compare with observation.
When does a laboratory record belong to the source, and when does it belong to the measurement camera? Stable concept DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20114403 The paper's native algebra starts from a completed-address access law, not from a fitted collapse rate: [X^,P^]=Jℏ(I−M^w),η=Tr(ρM^w),ΔXΔP≥2ℏ(1−η). Observation is exact source-observer address co-location. Measurement is that event plus a calibrated pointer and a durable redundant record. Conditional Lüders projection is recovered as the laboratory description of the completed record; no stochastic collapse force, localization length, observer trigger, or target-fitted measurement coefficient is introduced. Version 11.0 closes the operational object behind the Access Law. A coherent-survival kernel and a positive unital address-centralization map construct a lawful central effect: Aw(L)=I−Zw[Kcoh(L)†Kcoh(L)],0⪯Aw⪯I,η=Tr(ρAw). For a complete physical instrument, the same independently constructed effect family carries an exact information identity, a thermodynamic work ceiling, and the registered uncertainty floor: iA=N1I(K:Q),0≤iA≤N1∑jh2(ηj)≤h2(ηˉ),wE≤wˉR+∫sR−iAsRT(s)ds,ΔXjΔPj≥2ℏ(1−ηj). The theorem also proves iA=η in general. An observed work gain cannot be inverted into a convenient QTT operator. The kernel, centralization map, complete instrument, and physical label transport must be frozen before either target is opened. When Aw2=Aw=Aw†, the original Central-Projector Representation Theorem is recovered exactly; no sharp result is retired. Retrospective receipt: 8,407/8,407 deterministic checks pass. Published information-thermodynamic work data and an independent finite-chain reconstruction confirm the standard state-plus-access work architecture. They do not by themselves test the QTT commutator. Prospective discriminator: the QTT-exclusive common-effect cross-lock is frozen in the Same-Central-Effect Work-Quadrature Loop Preregistration. It reads the work quadrature and coherent loop from one hardware module with no target feedback. Scientific result: a QTT zero-fit source-explanatory victory for the measurement ontology and common access object. The standard information-theory components retain their standard ownership; the completed-address source law, central effect constructor, and same-effect cross-lock are QTT-native. Version 11.0: 58 pages; named effect-level theorem; exact sharp-projector recovery; scalar-inversion no-go; retrospective access-work audit; prospective same-effect test bridge; three adversarial reviews passed.
Papers I and II derived gravitational geometry and second-order dynamics from finite accessibility without invoking measurement, observation protocols, or collapse as primitive notions. This paper extends the operational program to the measurement sector, deriving the structure of record formation and probabilistic weights from the same finite accessibility and compositional constraints. Finite accessibility restricts admissible operations on a subsystem to a proper operator subalgebra. Because bounded certification excludes operators requiring nonlocal coordination or arbitrarily fine phase resolution, the accessible algebra is strictly smaller than the full operator algebra. When a system becomes correlated with orthogonal environment sectors, off-diagonal operators between those sectors fall outside the accessible algebra. The reduced state is therefore indistinguishable, under all admissible operations, from its diagonal ensemble. Definiteness emerges as an algebraic consequence of sector restriction, not as a collapse postulate. The weights of these sectors are fixed uniquely by compositional consistency. Phase invariance, multiplicativity under independent refinement, and stability under record coarse-graining constrain any admissible assignment of sector weights to satisfy a functional equation whose only continuous, non-contextual solution is quadratic in amplitude. The Born rule therefore arises as the unique invariant measure compatible with finite accessibility. Irreversibility follows from action scaling: reversal requires operators outside the admissible tensor algebra and incurs action cost proportional to the number of correlated subsystems. Since admissible operations are bounded by the action gap, macroscopic record reversal is excluded. Measurement introduces no new physical primitives beyond finite accessibility, locality, and compositional stability. Record formation, classical definiteness, and Born probabilities are structural consequences of algebraic restriction under finite accessibility. **This paper is part of the Finite Accessibility series, which reconstructs gravitational geometry, quantum dynamics, gauge structure, cosmological perturbation theory, and the dark sector from a single operational primitive: a finite certification ceiling ω* governing the maximum rate at which physical relations can be maintained across extended domains.** **Introductory papers** - Geometric Limits to Coherent Timekeeping in Extended Reference Frames — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18824556 - Accessibility Selection Law (ASL) — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18824649 - Phase Boundary Gravity — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18824707 **Pillars (numbered I–IV)** - Paper I: Deriving Gravitational Geometry and Schrödinger Dynamics from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18601600 - Paper II: Deriving Inertia, Motion, and Wave Propagation from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18625174 - Paper III: Accessible State Spaces, Record Stability, and the Emergence of Quantum Statistics — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18625192 - Paper IV: Frame Dissolution, the Certification Ceiling, and Observable Deformations — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18654458 **Extension papers** - Dark Matter from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18654433 - Dark Energy from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18654523 - No-Go Theorems and the Admissibility Corridor — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18654493 - Gauge Structure from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18928152 - Perturbation Theory from Finite Accessibility — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18928213 **Experimental paper** - Experimental Probes of Finite Accessibility: GW Dispersion and Vacuum Path Independence — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18931126 **Keywords:** Born rule derivation, measurement problem, quantum statistics, finite accessibility, operator subalgebra, record formation, definiteness emergence, wave function collapse, compositional consistency, accessible state spaces, action gap, irreversibility, sector restriction, quantum foundations, algebraic quantum mechanics, decoherence
Aharonov--Bohm phase as real-J holonomy Concept DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20772090 Author: Ali Attar Website: quantumtraction.org Main book anchor: Quantum Traction Theory: Main Book v10.01 This paper reads electromagnetic and gravitational Aharonov--Bohm phases as source-access holonomies. The gauge potential is the real-J dial connection; the observed complex phase is the laboratory projection J↦i. The compact QTT holonomy is WγQTT=exp{J[ℏcq∫γAμdxμ−ℏmc2∫γdτA2]}. The finite-edge admissibility gate is λeAB=ℏne∣δSeAB∣≤1. The standard AB equations are therefore recovered as low-density laboratory shadows of the same source holonomy. The Artian Hamiltonian Framework for QTT Version: 10.01 Concept DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20484906 Version DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20484907 Author: Ali Attar Website: quantumtraction.org Corpus category: Action, Feynman, path integrals, and quantum foundations This paper develops the Hamiltonian of Quantum Traction Theory (QTT) on Artian Geometry as a finite-capacity source generator of completed address events. The laboratory Hamiltonian is not taken as the primitive object: it is the access image of a deeper substrate ledger. Where a textbook Hamiltonian generates time evolution for a system already placed in a laboratory frame, the QTT Hamiltonian must first specify which completed address events are being funded, which clock is being used, which same-universe bundle has closed, and which access channel is permitted to read the result. From the axioms A1–A7 the framework is built in strict constructor order: the completed address event with its noncircular Artian ruler; the real J-dial source Hilbert module; the source Hamiltonian core; the full Artian ledger generator including birth (B_A3), endurance/destruction (D_A2), and bundle-closure (C_A7) maps; the Access Law mapping the source generator to its laboratory image through a clock Jacobian; the Unified Equilibrium Law (UEL) tying energy, action, four-volume support, and gravitational readout to a single Artian capacity endpoint E* = ℏ/t̃_A = ℏc/ℓ_A; the A6 finite-capacity ceilings; and the A7 same-universe bundle closure Q_bundle = 2π. Every standard sector — free particles, photons, fermions, scalar/Higgs, QCD, thermal reservoirs, measurement, and gravity — is placed in the same grammar, in each case separating the source rail from the laboratory readout. Companion rails connect the framework to the wider QTT corpus: unitarity as real-dial geometry, time reversal and Kramers degeneracy from dial conjugation, gauge covariance from local dial re-zeroing, the two-clock half-angle cos(π/8), the Faraday effect as a clock/access test, the endurance-to-Newton route fixing G_A = ℓ_A²c³/ℏ, worked sector dossiers, explicit laboratory-recovery derivations (Schrödinger, Dirac, Maxwell, Boltzmann, path integral), and a sector-by-sector status ledger. Every load-bearing relation is parameter-free, reducing to fundamental constants and fixed integers or angles forced by the axioms; no fitted scalar enters the source layer. A no-smuggling discipline forbids inserting an observed value into the Hamiltonian and naming it afterward. The discipline is deliberately plain: source first, access second, audit last — and a residual is treated not as a nuisance term but as a request for a missing source rail, access map, or axiom-level correction. In the last version we added: systematic page-level anchoring to the QTT monograph (v10.01) for every construction, a visual reading map of the constructor order, and refined epistemic labelling, making each claim auditable against its source. This is Paper 157 in the Anaxiomatic Mechanics / pq-Spacetime stack. It develops a finite structural account of quantum measurement based on boundary-supported record formation, decoherence, and global admissible-history closure. In pq-spacetime, measurement is not a fundamental collapse process. A system, apparatus, environment, and observer become incorporated into an enlarged β-boundary whose dynamics stabilize distinguishable record channels. Environmental coupling suppresses accessible interference between incompatible records, while each observer continuation inherits a definite local outcome through its embedding in one stable β-record ledger. The paper distinguishes this branch-local definiteness from the global structure of the theory. The finite amplitude law and No-Fence Principle do not permit admissible history sectors to be deleted by an additional measurement rule. The global metaobject therefore remains closed over the complete admissible-history structure even though individual observers occupy definite record continuations. Collapse is consequently recovered only as an effective conditional update of local access rather than as an ontological destruction of alternatives. The analysis connects measurement directly to the earlier pq-spacetime treatments of entanglement, decoherence, and black-hole information. In each case, reduced access to part of the admissible-history structure can produce locally mixed or effectively classical descriptions without implying destruction of the globally closed state. Born weights are inherited from the prior no-fence scalarization result rather than introduced as an independent measurement postulate. The Measurement Ledger Theorem summarizes the result: quantum measurement is the formation of stable branch-local β-record ledgers through boundary enlargement; consciousness is not a measurement mechanism; primitive collapse and hidden selectors are unnecessary; pointer states correspond to dynamically stable record channels; and the globally admissible history structure remains closed throughout the measurement process. The resulting picture identifies classicality with persistent, redundant record stability rather than with a separate classical ontology. Definite experimental outcomes and globally closed quantum evolution are therefore treated as complementary aspects of the same finite pq-spacetime dynamics.
