Derivation of the Cause of Circumnavigating Atomic Clock Time Difference and Its Experimental Verification Scheme. Based on Wave Function Collapse and Reconstruction
Abstract In the Hafele-Keating experiment, circumnavigating atomic clocks exhibited a fixed nanosecond-level time difference. For half a century, this phenomenon has been interpreted by mainstream physics academia as direct evidence for the relativistic time dilation effect. Breaking away from the theoretical framework of spacetime distortion, this paper starts from the underlying mechanism of quantum measurement and puts forward the core viewpoint: the essence of atomic clock timing deviation is not the distortion of spacetime itself, but the innate asymmetry of microwave measurement paths. The microwave resonating with cesium atoms must undergo the quantum process of wave function collapse and reconstruction, while the timing microwave does not pass through this process. The physical difference between the two paths leads to timing deviation. Combined with original derivation and experimental design, this paper deduces the formation mechanism of atomic clock time difference based on the quantum properties of wave function collapse and reconstruction. Meanwhile, it proposes a minimalist and implementable atomic clock modification scheme to eliminate time difference by unifying measurement paths. Based on relevant original research achievements [1][2], this paper completes mutual verification between theory and experiment, corroborates that the wave function collapse and reconstruction process is the core cause of atomic clock time difference, and provides a new perspective for research on quantum measurement and time standards.

This paper introduces a dual-clock framework that unifies quantum mechanics, general relativity, and thermodynamics through a single dynamical equation governing temporal evolution. The model proposes that physical time emerges from interference between two counter-propagating temporal waves: an entropic wave driving phase-space exploration and a Lagrangian wave driving action minimization. Their interaction produces a universal refresh constant τ that regulates coherence across all physical systems. The framework recovers standard quantum and relativistic equations as limiting cases (τ = 0) while predicting measurable deviations for τ ≠ 0. The primary experimental prediction is a differential frequency offset between co-located optical atomic clocks of different species: δR ≈ -7 × 10⁻¹⁸, testable with emerging 10⁻¹⁹-precision clock technology. Numerical simulations demonstrate stability over 3.17 × 10¹⁵ equivalent years, reproducing FRW cosmological expansion, gravitational time dilation, and QED phase behavior. The model provides geometric explanations for quantum measurement collapse, black-hole singularities as temporal degree-of-freedom mergers, and biological quantum coherence in photosynthetic systems. This work presents a falsifiable, minimal extension to the Standard Model requiring no new particles or hidden dimensions, testable with near-term atomic clock experiments.
Physics is also known as a science of observation and experiment. In this paper, the most representative experimental verification of general relativity, "Mercury perihelion precession", is used for mathematical derivation and analysis, and the serious errors in the experimental verification are expounded deeply. Furthermo2re, the Lorentz transformation, the core formula of special relativity, is mathematically deduced and analyzed, and the contradictions and errors existing in the Lorentz transformation are profoundly revealed. These contradictions and errors involve the deep relationship between physics and mathematics, and are also the core problems faced by theoretical physics. Minkowski's four-dimensional spacetime contradicts the "principle of constant speed of light", and there are serious errors in the "relativity of simultaneity". The so-called experimental verification of the theory of relativity is false, and there is a fundamental error in the theory of relativity, which will lead to the collapse of the whole theoretical building, including general relativity. The basic formula of quantum mechanics, "matter wave" wavelength λ=h/p , is also based on the wrong Einstein "massenergy equation". Therefore, the wave function of "matter wave" established on the wavelength λ=h/p of "de Broglie wave" and the Schrodinger equation are all pseudo-formulas without any physical significance. Schrodinger equation is the core formula of quantum mechanics. This is enough to cause the collapse of quantum mechanics. The mathematical derivation of the Compton effect was completely based on the pseudo-concepts of special relativity such as "mass-energy equation" and "moving mass", while Einstein's explanation of the photoelectric effect was limited by the scientific and technological level at that time. The Compton effect and the photoelectric effect, as the two most important experimental verification of the "waver-particle duality" of light, were not valid. "Wade-particle duality" is another misdirection of Einstein to human beings, which "inspired" de Broglie to put forward the famous "matter wave" hypothesis, and the "matter wave" concept is the root that led theoretical physics to fall into the abyss of quantum mechanics. In addition, there are serious errors in the basic concept of quantum mechanics. "Monochromatic radiant outdegree" is an incomplete definition of physics, which is also the root cause of the "ultraviolet disaster" problem. The defective physics concept of "monochromatic radiant outdegree" is also an important reason for theoretical physics to fall into the "quantization" quake-pit. The "ultraviolet catastrophe" problem of blackbody radiation is a physical accident caused by the artificially defined defect concept of "monochromatic radiance outdegree". Boer's hydrogen atom theory is the foundation theory of quantum mechanics. Like relativity theory, this theory also has the problem that the same mathematical symbol expresses two contradictory physical meanings at the same time. Quantum tunneling has the problem of different physical interpretation of mathematical formulas. No matter the premise or the core formula, there are serious contradictions and errors in quantum mechanics, and quantum mechanics is also a wrong theory. The theory of relativity and quantum mechanics is a lost on the journey of human truth exploration. The fundamental errors of relativity and quantum mechanics will lead to the comprehensive collapse of theoretical physics system including relativistic quantum mechanics, quantum field theory (quantum electrodynamics, quantum chromodynamics, unified theory of weak electricity, standard model of elementary particle physics), Yang Mills theory and so on. Fortunately, in the course of nearly a century of exploration, human beings have accumulated a large number of empirical results. Although the theory Journal of Electrical Electronics Engineering ISSN: 2834-4928 1 Department of Mathematical Science, College of Science, Tsinghua University, Beijing 100084, China 2 School of Physics, Peking University, Beijing 100091, China 3 School of Astronomy and Space Science, University of Science and Technology of China, Anhui 230026, China J Electrical Electron Eng, 2023 Volume 2 | Issue 4 | 381 of relativity is completely wrong, it does not affect the real existence of such an objective thing as the atomic bomb. Laser, transistor, tunnel microscope and so on have nothing to do with quantum mechanics, because quantum mechanics is also a fundamentally wrong theory, but this does not hinder the validity of the existing experimental results, the so-called experimental verification of relativity and quantum mechanics are forced to incorporate experimental results and physical phenomena into their own theoretical system. Abstract Light-pulse atom interferometers based on single-photon transitions are a promising tool for gravitational-wave detection in the mid-frequency band and the search for ultralight dark-matter fields. Here we present a novel measurement scheme that enables their use as freely falling clocks directly measuring relativistic time-dilation effects. The proposal is particularly timely because it can be implemented with no additional requirements in Fermilab’s MAGIS-100 experiment or even in the 10 m prototypes that are expected to start operating very soon. This will allow the unprecedented measurement of gravitational time dilation in a local experiment with freely falling atoms, which is beyond reach even for the best atomic-fountain clocks based on microwave transitions. The results are supported by a comprehensive treatment of relativistic effects in this kind of interferometer as well as a detailed analysis of the main systematic effects. Furthermore, the theoretical methods developed here constitute a valuable tool for modelling light-pulse atom interferometers based on single-photon transitions in general.
As the two pillars of modern physics, relativity and quantum mechanics have both achieved overwhelming experimental success in their respective domains, yet they have never realized self-consistent unification at the underlying logical level. Most existing studies focus on the mathematical technical difficulties of quantum gravity, while generally neglecting the structural divergence of the core concepts of "observer" and "time" between the two theories. Through conceptual analysis and logical tracing, this paper points out that the observer in relativity is essentially a massless geometric coordinate marker with no intrinsic clock, which only undertakes the functions of event marking and reference frame mutual translation. It belongs to the object level concept within the classical world, and can be summarized as the translator of the ready-made world. The observer required by quantum mechanics is a physical entity that can trigger wave function collapse and carry the time metric benchmark. It is the logical premise for the generation of the observable classical world, belonging to the meta-level concept, and can be summarized as the legislator of the real world. The divergence between the two is not an isolated terminological difference. Its deep root lies in the completely heterogeneous presuppositions of the two theories on "time": time in quantum mechanics is a transcendental, uniform global background parameter "before the birth of clocks", that is, a "logical concept before measurement"; time in relativity is a local, operable relative metric result "after the birth of clocks", that is, a "logical concept of the classical deterministic motion world". As physical theories both belonging to the principle theory paradigm, both actively skip the construction of the physical ontology of time and directly presuppose the functional role of time, which eventually leads to the double logical dislocation of observer and time concepts. Relativity lacks the "first chapter" of deriving observers from the vacuum substrate, and quantum mechanics lacks the physical carrier definition of observers, which are essentially two manifestations of the same ontological gap. Metretics Dynamics (MD; formerly Time Field Theory, TFT) takes the scalar time field as the only physical ontology, defines mass as the local condensed state of the time field, and deduces the ontological proposition that "mass is the observer". It eliminates the absolute division between meta-level and object level from the ontological level, and reduces "global background time" and "local relative time" to the apparent forms of the same physical field under different condensation degrees. The continuous unitary evolution of the wave function corresponds to the uniform rhythmic flow of the time field in its diffuse state, while wave function collapse is essentially a local state mutation of the time field when coupled with a macroscopic mass condensate. Both processes are unified under the intrinsic dynamical laws of the time field. Within a unified framework, it simultaneously accommodates the metric anchor of quantum measurement and the coordinate mutual translation mechanism of relativity, providing a constructive ontological path for the conceptual compatibility of the two major theories.
Abstract This article presents a revised and conceptually refined formulation of a previously proposed Temporal Interpretation of quantum measurement, explicitly addressing the physical nature of wavefunction collapse. While the original proposal emphasised relativistic aspects of momentum superpositions, the present work clarifies the interpretation within the standard formalism of quantum mechanics, without introducing new dynamics or experimental predictions. Unitary evolution is read as a process of differentiated phase accumulation between branches of a quantum state. In relativistic contexts, phase differentials can be structurally related to effective proper-time differentials, allowing the introduction of a notion of temporal compatibility that provides a physically grounded account of decoherence. When such differentials exceed a characteristic scale, interference between branches becomes operationally inaccessible, while global unitarity is preserved. The observer is treated as a physical system endowed with an irreversible proper time associated with macroscopic, entropic dynamics. Within this framework, collapse is explained as an emergent physical phenomenon arising from the irreversibility of the observer’s proper time, which prevents the reconstruction of phase coherence after an interaction. Collapse is therefore neither a fundamental dynamical mechanism nor an objective event in space-time, but a necessary consequence of temporal irreversibility in physical observers. This formulation sharpens the distinction between decoherence and collapse, preserves full consistency with the Born rule, and positions the Temporal Interpretation as a competing interpretative framework that provides a concrete physical explanation for the quantum–classical transition, improving and clarifying the original proposal. This version clarifies the operational status of the interaction time, refines Sections 5.3 and 5.4, and standardises references and editorial structure. No changes to the formalism or conclusions.
