Mediated Phase Emergence, Transport Reduction, and Non-Factorization

Abstract

This Theorem establishes a complete transport-to-visible reduction theorem for a five-fibre system governed by Gray-structured transport on Q5. The cyclic reflected Gray code produces a unique surviving antisymmetric ordered source, the (5,1) closure class with ordered-pair count C₅₁ = 16. This reduces under the canonical projection–pairing–retention pipeline to a nearest-neighbour antisymmetric commutator operator K on a three-dimensional carrier space. Eliminating the mediator channel via Schur reduction forces a rank-one quadratic visible operator Q⊥ ~ vvᵀ, whose phase-bearing component is extracted by μ(Q) = ½Tr(QR). Path-class decomposition gives the single-sheet coefficient law μ = 2κ_adj + κ_nonadj; cross-sheet doubling gives the observable coefficient law: μ_obs = 4κ_adj + 2κ_nonadj Independently, Schur reduction of the five-fibre Hamiltonian gives h_z = v_L·v_R/Δ, bilinear in left and right couplings. Under the transport–Hamiltonian matching hypothesis in the near-symmetric regime, μ = 2h_z + O(δ²_eff). The bilinearity is irreducible (no subsystem supported on a single visible branch can reproduce a nonzero coefficient), establishing that the observable two-state dynamics are intrinsically non-factorizable. A geometric holonomy lemma establishes that μ_obs is a loop invariant, nontrivial despite vertex-level closure, vanishing on commutative transport classes. A Berry Phase Correspondence Criterion identifies the conditions under which γ_Berry = μ_obs + O(δ²), without asserting those conditions are satisfied. Status: Gray ordered-pair counts, uniqueness of (5,1) closure source, zero-pattern of K, rank-one quadratic emergence, phase extraction, cross-sheet doubling, bilinearity, and no-one-sided-support result all solid. Conditional on phase dressing assumption (full derivation from T17 kernel generators open. Conditional on path-class multiplicity), a 2:1 ratio requires explicit enumeration from T17 kernel geometry. Conditional on transport–Hamiltonian matching, bridge requires a near-symmetric regime hypothesis and second-order leg matching justification.

Phase–Hamiltonian Correspondence and Mediated Non-Factorization

Craig Edwin Holdway

This paper establishes that the phase coefficient extracted from reduced Q5 transport is identical in structure to the effective mediated coupling of a reduced two-state Hamiltonian system, upgrading the phase from an extracted observable artifact to an effective dynamical coupling parameter. Starting from a five-fibre Hamiltonian H₅ with boundary channels B_L, B_R, visible channels L, R, and mediator M, two successive Schur eliminations produce the effective visible two-state Hamiltonian \[ H_eff^(2) = h₀I + h_xσ_x + h_zσ_z \] with mediated coupling: \[ h_z = v_L v_R / Δ \] In the rotated phase-plane basis {α, γ}, the mediated bilinear appears as the coefficient of σ_z rather than σ_x, a consequence of the basis rotation that diagonalizes the symmetric part of the visible operator. On the transport side, TA9 gives \[ Q_⊥ = (1/Δ)vvᵀ \] with \[ v = (v_L, v_R) \]. The same mediated bilinear structure governs both descriptions, and under the phase normalization, the two are related by \[ µ = 2h_z + O(δ²) \]. The non-factorization result is the strongest structural consequence: \[ h_z = v_L v_R / Δ \] vanishes if either channel coupling vanishes, so the phase cannot be assigned to one branch alone. No invariant subsystem supported only on one visible branch can reproduce nonzero h_z. The visible two-state system is not primitive, it is the Schur-reduced projection of a higher-dimensional mediated transport system. The correspondence \[ Q_⊥ ~ vvᵀ ↔ h_z ~ v_L v_R / Δ \] establishes that phase emergence is equivalent to mediated second-order coupling, not merely analogous to it.

Phase Emergence from Ordered Transport on Q5

Craig Edwin Holdway

We establish that a scalar phase-like invariant arises from ordered transport on the five-dimensional hypercube Q5 through a purely algebraic mechanism. The commutator of the defect and dressed transport generators is the unique source of order sensitivity in the branch difference. Under a symmetry-constrained reduction pipeline, all symmetric contributions are eliminated by mirror-orbit cancellation, and the surviving operator is confined to a one-dimensional antisymmetric defect sector spanned by the skew-Hermitian generator E_d = iσ_y, derived algebraically from the Gray code closure defect. A canonical linear extraction functional then yields a unique scalar invariant μ with no free parameters. The extraction functional is formally identical to the Berry connection integrated over a closed cycle, and μ admits an explicit realization as the Berry phase of a six-segment loop on the Bloch sphere with multiplicity structure (4,2) mirroring the Q5 adjacency structure.

Coupling Parameter Determination and Kernel–Transport Coefficient Matching in Reduced Q5 Transport

Craig Edwin Holdway

This paper closes the primary open step of the Bear Claws Theorem (T50–T52), the explicit derivation of the coupling parameter β from Q5 kernel geometry, in two parts. Part I derives β = a²/4 and h₁ = √(5/2) directly from matrix computation. The recurrence Y³ = 5Y (T46) pins h₁ = √(5/2) via 2h₁² = 5. Direct multiplication gives [M_n,D_n]·Y = ah₁·[[1,0,1],[0,0,0],[−1,0,−1]], zero middle row and column, consistent with |8⟩ as the defect bond mediation vertex. The visible-hidden coupling is the (1,3) entry ah₁. With Tr(Y^T Y) = 4h₁², β = a²h₁²/(4h₁²) = a²/4. The observable phase coefficient satisfies μ = −8βh₁ = −a²√10. Part II (Theorem 53) establishes that μ, β, and a are not free parameters; they are uniquely determined by compatibility between the kernel-derived phase extraction pipeline (T26–T29) and the transport-level rotational residual (T48–T49). The reduced phase plane is two-dimensional, so its antisymmetric subspace is one-dimensional; any antisymmetric operator surviving the pipeline is a scalar multiple of R = A = E_d = iσ_y. Since both constructions reference the same normalized generator with coefficients μ (extraction pipeline) and 1/160 (transport residual), and the sign is fixed by σ_Γ = −1 from T18: μ = −1/160, β = 1/(1280√(5/2)), a² = 1/(160√10) The value 1/160 is not an imposed normalization; it is the unique coefficient consistent with both the ordered kernel holonomy and the reduced transport evolution. The full chain T17 → T29 → T46 → β = a²/4 → μ = −1/160 → T52 is non-circular. Status: h₁ = √(5/2), product structure of [M_n,D_n]Y, (1,3) coupling entry, Tr(Y^T Y) = 4h₁², and β = a²/4 all solid by direct matrix computation. Generator identification R = A = E_d solid, one-dimensionality of antisymmetric sector is linear algebra. μ = −1/160 solid given generator identification. Sign propagation from T18 through T29, structural, full explicit sign-tracking through the projection pipeline, is the natural supporting calculation. Parametrized form of [M_n,D_n] on {9,8,24} must ultimately be derived from T17 kernel generators to confirm the alternating antisymmetric form is forced rather than assumed. Dependencies: T29, T36, T37, T46, T52.

Phase Identification via Dynamical Equivalence

Craig Edwin Holdway

This note establishes a consistency bridge between two independent descriptions of the observable phase µ in the Q5 framework. The first description derives µ as a mediated transport coefficient from Schur reduction of a five-fibre system. The second derives it as an adjoint eigenvalue from the Gray-weighted complementary spin decomposition. Both produce the same observable phase structure, summarized in the bridge result: \[ µ = 2h_z = 2·(v_L v_R / Δ) ↔ 2(α + 2βm) \] TA3 is a consistency bridge, not a foundational theorem. It demonstrates that transport dynamics and operator spectrum encode the same phase structure at the level of observable readout. The SU(2) visible system is shown to arise from projection of a higher-dimensional operator structure, not as a primitive degree of freedom. The coupling coefficient h_z is established as intrinsically non-factorizable, arising only through the mediated left→mediator→right interaction. The open item is the explicit derivation of the m ↔ transport asymmetry mapping, which would upgrade TA3 from a phase-equivalence bridge to a full structural identification.

Geometric Phase Realization of Q5 Transport Holonomy

Craig Edwin Holdway

This Theorem establishes an explicit geometric-phase realization of the Q5 observable coefficient law μ_obs = 4κ_adj + 2κ_non. A closed loop on the Bloch sphere is constructed from six constant-polar-angle azimuthal arcs of equal azimuthal sweep Δφ, four at polar angle θ_adj and two at θ_non. By the standard solid-angle contribution of constant-polar arcs (Ω = Δφ(1 − cosθ)), the total enclosed solid angle is: Ω = 4Δφ(1 − cosθ_adj) + 2Δφ(1 − cosθ_non) The Berry phase of a spin-½ eigenstate adiabatically transported along this loop is γ_Berry = −½Ω. Defining κ_adj := −½Δφ(1 − cosθ_adj) and κ_non := −½Δφ(1 − cosθ_non) gives γ_Berry = 4κ_adj + 2κ_non = μ_obs. The (4,2) multiplicity structure arises geometrically from the decomposition into four adjacent-class and two non-adjacent-class Bloch segments. Status: Solid angle lemma and Berry phase formula are standard results. This is a realization result: it establishes that μ_obs admits a geometric-phase realization. It does not assert that Gray-constrained transport uniquely induces this specific loop, nor that θ_adj and θ_non are fixed by Q5 structure. Uniqueness and intrinsic derivation are addressed in T41. Dependencies: T39.

Complement-Paired Bulk-Mediated Phase Holonomy and Forced Middle-Projector Structure in the Fibre Transport Architecture on Q5

Craig Edwin Holdway

We study the complement-paired bulk-mediated extension of the fibre transport architecture arising from the closure-parity and fibrewise effective dynamics framework on the five-dimensional hypercube Q5Q_5Q5. Starting from the single-fibre defect generator, we pass to a parity-adapted basis in which the dynamics separates into independent transport and asymmetry phase planes. We prove that in a complement-paired reduction with shared bulk mediation, crossing compatibility forces a strict separation between the transport and asymmetry sectors. On the crossing-even transport plane, we show that nontrivial bulk-mediated coupling together with preservation of an exact inherited transport rotor forces the effective correction to be nonzero, singular, symmetric, and rank one. A direct matrix argument then establishes that the inherited rotor condition is equivalent to annihilation of the endpoint line, uniquely forcing the correction to take the form A=ρ ∣M+⟩⟨M+∣A = \rho\,|M_+\rangle\langle M_+|A=ρ∣M+⟩⟨M+∣. We further show that this structure is perturbatively rigid: the middle-projector branch is the unique infinitesimal deformation preserving the inherited transport channel. The paired transport holonomy then decomposes into a protected channel with exact inherited phase e±iηpe^{\pm i\eta p}e±iηp and a bulk-dressed complementary channel. The resulting spectral mismatch defines an exact relative phase defect Δφ(τ)=4βτ2(p−p2−4a2),\Delta\varphi(\tau) = 4\beta\tau^2\bigl(p - \sqrt{p^2 - 4a^2}\bigr),Δφ(τ)=4βτ2(p−p2−4a2), which is invariant under fibre exchange but irreducible to independent single-fibre contributions. We identify this structure as nonfactorizable complementary holonomy: a shared phase constraint that arises only at the paired level. The bulk mediator does not act as a transport channel, but as a constraint-enforcing mechanism. All results are established within a minimal complement-paired bulk-mediated model and are explicitly classified by epistemic status and are structural and algebraic within a minimal complement-paired bulk-mediated model. This work develops Theorem 15 in the Q5 framework. See associated Zenodo records for Theorems 7, 8, 12, and 14.
