The Order of Chaos: Toward a Unified Theory of Information, Symmetry, and Order

Abstract

This work proposes a unified theoretical framework that connects four foundational contributions of twentieth-century physics: David Bohm’s concept of active information and the Implicate Order, John Wheeler’s “It from Bit,” Rolf Landauer’s principle on the energetic cost of information, and Emmy Noether’s theorem linking symmetry and conservation laws. The central thesis argues that reality emerges from a deep, non-local informational structure governed by the Principle of Minimum Work applied to informational degrees of freedom. This leads to the formulation of an “Entangled Pair” between Informational Energy and the variational principle of minimum dissipation. The document examines supporting evidence from quantum matter, condensed matter physics, cosmology, and biological systems, as well as technological applications that demonstrate how informational structures can modulate energy and guide systems toward lower entropy states. The work aims to offer a coherent ontological perspective that bridges physics, information theory, and complexity science, while remaining open to further theoretical development and empirical investigation.

A Thermodynamic Formalization of Bohmian Active Information: Mapping the Implicate Order to an Open-EFT Computational Action Principle (MetaTime v36.0)

Dario Peyru

This theoretical manuscript bridges the gap between ontological interpretations of quantum mechanics—specifically David Bohm's concepts of the Implicate Order and Active Information—and modern quantum thermodynamics. By treating the observed physical dynamics as an Open Effective Field Theory (Open-EFT), the MetaTime v36.0 framework operationalizes Bohmian constructs into strict, measurable thermodynamic variables and topological invariants. Historically, Bohmian ontology has been criticized for lacking explicit falsification criteria. This paper resolves that limitation by imposing a strict operational mapping where information processing is constrained by Landauer's principle and a latency-induced computational friction. Key theoretical and experimental developments include: Operational Mapping: The Implicate/Explicate order is translated into a Latency stock (a cached, unobserved causal graph) versus an Execution budget (registering local state updates). Information Geometry: "Active Information" is formalized as a rewrite-cost metric governed by the Bures distance, operating under a Principle of Computational Action Minimization (PCAM). Experimental Falsifiability (Qubit Toy Model): The manuscript proposes a concrete experimental protocol—a controlled qubit coupled to a thermal bath, modeled via the Lindblad master equation. The framework predicts a strict Landauer-bound dissipation cost proportional to the geometric length of the state trajectory, providing a direct calorimetric "Kill-Test" for the theory. Topological Invariance: Bohm's "soma-significance" is recast as an operational topological invariant combining the algebraic connectivity of the causal graph and phase-coherent coordination. This document serves as a "hardware patch" for Bohmian mechanics, providing testable open-system signatures (dissipation, latency, and connectivity) for both theoretical physicists and experimental quantum computing researchers.

Active Information and the Nature of Consciousness: Bohm's Theory in the Context of Contemporary Science

Michael Shatnev, L. G. Zazunov

This study offers a comprehensive analysis of David Bohm’s article “A New Theory of the Relationship of Mind and Matter” (Philosophical Psychology, 1990) — one of the most original attempts of the twentieth century to overcome Cartesian dualism on a physical foundation. The paper proceeds in sequence through the historical context of the mind–body problem, the physical basis of the causal interpretation of quantum mechanics, the central concept of active information, and the implicate order. Bohm’s framework is then compared with several major contemporary approaches: Orchestrated Objective Reduction (Hameroff & Penrose, 2014), the holographic brain model (Pribram, 1991), Integrated Information Theory (Tononi, 2004), and the Global Workspace model (Baars, 1988; Dehaene, 2014). A dedicated section examines the relationship between Bohm’s ideas and Rovelli’s Relational Quantum Mechanics (Rovelli, 1996), as well as Loop Quantum Gravity (Rovelli, 2004; Rovelli & Smolin, 1995), and Qbism, developed by Christopher Fuchs, Rüdiger Schack, and Carlton Caves (Fuchs, 2002; Fuchs et al., 2014). The concluding section evaluates the compatibility of Bohm’s ideas with quantum field theory and modern quantum information science. The principal conclusion is that Bohm’s 1990 article does not constitute a complete theory of consciousness, yet it anticipates with remarkable prescience the information-ontological tendencies of the twenty-first century and may best be understood as a philosophical-physical metatheory whose relevance has only grown since its publication.

Manifesto for an Informational Observer-Centered Framework Toward a Unified Theory of Information, Observation, and Reality

Giuseppe Junior Greco

Modern physics has achieved extraordinary predictive success, yet it continues to face unresolved conceptual tensions concerning the role of the observer, the nature of information, and the origin of physical structure. From quantum measurement to cosmology, the assumption of an observer-neutral reality increasingly appears insufficient to fully account for empirical phenomena and theoretical inconsistencies. This manifesto proposes an Informational Observer-Centered Framework, in which information is treated as a fundamental ontological substrate and observation as an active, structured process rather than a passive act of measurement. Within this perspective, physical systems, observers, and informational exchanges form a unified dynamics, where state reduction, decoherence, and emergent classicality arise from informational interactions and constraints. Rather than introducing a new closed theory, this manifesto establishes a conceptual foundation unifying several complementary models—including Informational State Dynamics, observer-dependent informational compression, and informational interpretations of quantum and cosmological phenomena—into a coherent research program. The framework is explicitly non-dogmatic, open to falsification, and intended as a guiding structure for further theoretical development and empirical testing. The aim of this document is not to replace existing physical theories, but to clarify their conceptual boundaries and propose an integrative lens through which unresolved problems in quantum foundations, cosmology, and cognitive systems may be systematically explored.

Information Fields as a Fundamental Physical Primitive

Erico de Lima Azevedo, José Pissolato Filho

The concept of information as a physical primitive — causally efficacious, independent of energy transfer, and operative across scales from quantum to psychophysiological — has been implicit in a century of anomalous experimental results and explicit in a growing number of theoretical frameworks, none of which has yet provided a mathematically complete and empirically falsifiable account. This paper proposes such an account. We introduce the information field Ψ_I as a fundamental physical primitive defined on configuration space rather than spacetime, whose degrees of freedom are relational invariants — phase relationships, symmetry structures, and topological links — rather than field values at spacetime points. The theoretical foundation draws on Bohm and Hiley's process algebra [19, 20] and active information formalism, extended with the mathematical language of topological quantum field theory, and grounded in an explicit ontological framework in which organizational structure is irreducible to energy and matter. The framework is motivated by empirical results from Faraday-shielded autonomic nervous system synchrony experiments conducted at UNICAMP, in which statistically significant physiological correlations between electromagnetically isolated human subjects were observed at 250 meters separation (p < 0.01) [18, 1, 12], and is developed to account for the full class of phenomena — from quantum nonlocality through biological coherence to psychophysiological coupling — that share the structural signature of organizational correlation without energetic transfer. A five-stage transduction cascade is formally derived, connecting Ψ_I's implicate organizational structure to measurable physiological responses across scales. Seven falsifiable predictions are generated from the mathematical structure of the framework. A critical experiment is designed — intercontinental distance, double-blind, three-condition within-session, millisecond-precision GPS timestamp synchronization, 32-channel EEG, independent blinded analysis, pre-registered — that closes all major loopholes simultaneously and reaches the burden inversion threshold: if its results confirm the primary prediction, the only remaining objection requires a more implausible set of assumptions than the Ψ_I account itself. The paper includes an explicit self-criticism of an earlier formulation of the theory, a structured comparison with six competing frameworks against three evaluation criteria, and a commitment to open data and independent replication as conditions for claiming the results as established. What is proposed here is not a final theory. It is a mathematically precise, empirically falsifiable, and ontologically honest first step toward a physics that takes organizational structure as seriously as it takes energy and matter.

Entropic Framework: Bridging Quantum Mechanics and Cosmology Through Survival-Driven Entropy

Yaroslav Isachenkov

We all need peace, security, and stability. We all need peace, security, and stability. We all need peace, security, and stability. Нам потрібен Мир! Ми за Мир!! МИР!!! This publication presents two interconnected works that develop the Unified Entropic Framework — an effective theoretical approach in which entropy generated by oppositions is explored as a possible organizing principle linking different scales of physical and adaptive reality. The first part establishes the conceptual foundation. It integrates four directions: Guided Symbiosis Theory (system adaptation through survival-driven dynamics), Useful Chaos (resilience and stabilization in complex systems), Entropic General Relativity (where the cosmological term is treated as entropy-dependent), and an entropic interpretation of quantum measurement. Within this perspective, nonlocality is interpreted not as a paradox but as an effective global adjustment of entropic correlations revealed during measurement. The second part proposes an effective extension of the Schrödinger framework — the Entropic Schrödinger Equation — introducing additional terms intended to model survival dynamics and adaptive entropy processes while remaining consistent with the standard quantum limit. The proposed concept is not a complete microscopic theory. Instead, it defines a research direction aimed at identifying invariant entropic structures that connect information, adaptation, and physical dynamics across different scales. The work serves as a conceptual foundation for further mathematical development, phenomenological modeling, and potential empirical investigation. P.S. I remain an independent researcher. I invite you to support this project in order to accelerate the release of future parts and the further development of this architecture. Your contribution helps ensure the independence of these results.
