This report develops the Generative Probability Calculus, a new foundation for probability based on the two‑phase ontology of latent and realised possibility. Classical probability assumes a fixed outcome space and a single mode of uncertainty, but as the report notes, this framework “cannot express collapse, generative reorganisation, or the emergence of geometric structure within expectation.” Building on the generative ontology introduced in *The Generative Architecture of Reality: A Nine‑Volume Theory of Creation* (Doy, 2026; DOI: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19369013), the paper defines realised and latent probability fields, introduces the generative probability derivative and integral, derives collapse as a variational update rule, and formulates continuation as smooth inference. Expectation acquires geometry through the generative metric, and the probability‑realisation tensor leads to a field equation governing curvature of expectation. The result is a unified probabilistic framework in which probability measures stability rather than outcomes, inference combines smooth continuation with discrete collapse, and expectation evolves according to a geometric field equation.

Title: The Generative Architecture: From Distinction to Quantisation — A Variational and Geometric Theory of Generative Systems Author: David Michael Doy Date: June 2026Description: This work presents the complete variational and geometric foundations of the Generative Architecture, a unified mathematical framework in which reality emerges from a single primitive act: distinction. Beginning with the origin chain — nothingness → imbalance → collapse → action → massless field → D — the theory derives the three operational primitives (Possibility, Coherence, Boundary) as projections of D and develops the full generative dynamics that follow from them. The variational core of the architecture is built from the coherence functional C, the generative tension invariant I, and the conserved quantity G=D+I′. These elements enable the derivation of the generative action S[X], the canonical Hamiltonian, the Hamilton–Jacobi equation, the functional Schrödinger equation, and the path‑integral formulation without importing external physical primitives. An emergent quantum scale ℏeff arises naturally as the fluctuation amplitude of the generative action around stationary coherence‑ascent trajectories.A central contribution of this volume is the introduction of the compressed geometric formulation of the architecture. The full generative state is reorganised into the quadrupleX=(M,N(M),B(M),C),where M is the structural manifold, N(M) the constraint bundle, B(M) the boundary image, and C the coherence tensor. In this representation, the entire dynamics are governed by a single operator — the generative derivative DG — yielding the compressed master equation∂X∂t=πM (−δAδX)+C πN(M)(∇XV)+(1−C) πB(C(X)).This formulation unifies variational flow, teleodynamic drift, collapse, and boundary projection within a single geometric structure and provides a natural bridge to the teleodynamic regime. The document includes: • the explicit form of the coherence functional and its role in collapse, development, and geometry • the unified generative master equation and its geometric compression • the generative derivative and generative curvature • the path‑integral formulation of generative dynamics • the emergence of an effective metric and Einstein‑like field equation • the operational definition of ℏeff from simulation‑level fluctuations • the geometric bridge to identity, agency, and multi‑agent teleodynamicsTogether, these results show how quantum structure, geometric dynamics, and cognitive organisation arise from a single generative principle. This volume serves as the technical foundation for the broader Generative Architecture programme and complements the full monograph The Generative Architecture of Reality. Keywords: generative architecture, primitive distinction, coherence functional, generative derivative, geometric compression, variational dynamics, emergent quantisation, collapse dynamics, emergent geometry, unified field framework, teleodynamics, generative systems theory.
This report presents a stand‑alone generative resolution of the long‑standing conflict between quantum theory and general relativity. Instead of treating spacetime or probability as fundamental, the framework introduces possibility—existing in latent and realised modes—as the underlying substrate from which physical behaviour emerges. Quantum evolution, collapse, gravitational curvature, thermodynamic restructuring, and macroscopic identity are shown to be phase‑specific expressions of a single generative process. The central construct is the phase field, which governs transitions between predictive, collapse, geometric, developmental, and identity‑stabilising regimes. Quantum behaviour arises when predictive continuation and collapse dominate; gravitational behaviour emerges when stabilised realisation induces generative curvature; thermodynamic and renormalisation‑group behaviour appear in intermediate developmental regimes.By deriving quantum, gravitational, thermodynamic, and classical limits from the same generative law, the report dissolves the apparent contradictions between unitary evolution, collapse, curvature, locality, and nonlocality. The result is a unified ontology and dynamics in which probability, geometry, and identity are emergent rather than fundamental. The document is fully self‑contained and does not assume familiarity with previous work.
Calculus of Element Generated Sets for Quantum Mechanics - Emergent Hilbert Sectors from Generative Relational Structure This monograph develops a structural embedding of quantum mechanics within the framework of the Calculus of Element Generated Sets (CEGS) constituing a CEGS4QM, extending earlier exploratory work on quantum interference utilising CEGS into a unified generative formulation. Rather than treating Hilbert space, probability, tensor-product decomposition, or unitary structure as primitive ingredients of reality, the framework investigates how such structures may emerge from a deeper recursive accessibility organization governed by relational transport and constraint stabilization. Within this construction, quantum states appear as stabilized accessibility configurations generated through conjugate completion and compatibility-preserving transport structure. Ordinary quantum mechanics is recovered as a locally stabilized Hilbert-compatible regime embedded within a broader recursive hierarchy of generative accessibility sectors. Entanglement is reformulated not as a relation between fundamentally separate subsystems, but as a synchronization-preserving projection structure arising from unified generative accessibility organization. Compatibility structure, relational transport, and recursive conjugate completion together generate higher-order accessibility layers beyond ordinary Hilbert representations while preserving standard quantum-mechanical behavior within stabilized observational domains. The framework does not modify empirical quantum mechanics. Instead, it proposes that the Hilbert-space formalism itself may represent a locally stabilized observational structure emerging from a more general recursive generative substrate. The work describes a generalized structural framework based on a set based calculus (CEGS) for investigating emergent quantum representation, recursive accessibility geometry, and compatibility-preserving relational transport beyond primitive Hilbert ontology. This work provides a structural derivation of the quadratic form of the Born rule in quantum mechanics. Rather than postulating the probability rule as a foundational axiom, the paper proves that the exponent governing quantum probabilities is uniquely fixed by stability, contractivity, and duality requirements imposed on admissible physical laws. The analysis is carried out within a general operator-theoretic and law-space framework, in which physical laws are treated as fixed points of recursive generative dynamics. By combining strict contractive flow (Kappa Law), topological rigidity (Law of Endogenous Constraint), and algebra–geometry duality (Monad Duality), the paper demonstrates that only the Hilbert–Schmidt geometry is compatible with global stability of law evolution. As a consequence, the quadratic probability rule emerges as a rigid structural invariant rather than a free modeling choice. The result implies that any hypothetical modification of quantum theory based on non-quadratic probability rules would necessarily violate at least one of the fundamental structural requirements of admissible physical law, such as uniform contractivity, spectral stability, or duality consistency. Relation to Tier-1 dynamical formulation: This work develops a law-level (structural) resolution of the Born exponent. A complementary Tier-1 dynamical realization, formulated entirely within a constrained operator framework and independent of law-level recursion language, is developed in: J. Rodgers, Saturation Geometry and the Structural Emergence of Measurement and the Born Rule in a Capacity-Constrained Dirac–Λ System, Zenodo (2026).https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18704783 The Tier-1 formulation may be read independently and derives the quadratic Born rule as a consequence of modular implementability and saturation geometry within the coupled Dirac–Λ system.
[Author’s Note (April 2026)]Supersession Notice: This 2025 paper explores the early KB-Flux framework. It has been structurally overhauled and formally superseded by “The Light & Flux (L&F) Framework (2026)”. While the 2025 version relies on cognitive metaphors—treating the wave function as a “generative model” —the 2026 L&F framework provides a rigorous mathematical proof deriving complex Hilbert space from finite-inference constraints. It replaces “phenomenal grammar” with the Simplex Projection (𐍀), grounded in metabolic and thermodynamic mandates. Researchers seeking the formal Non-Derivability Principle and a stratified three-tier ontology should refer to the 2026 version. Original AbstractReaders are advised to treat the present paper strictly as a historical record of the framework’s initial development. For the current, accurate formulation, please refer to the new publication. The measurement problem—why quantum superpositions yield definite outcomes upon observation—has persisted as the central interpretative challenge of quantum mechanics for nearly a century. This paper proposes that the problem dissolves when viewed through the joint lens of Kantian epistemology and predictive processing (Bayesian brain) theory. Drawing on Kant’s distinction between phenomena (experience) and noumena (reality-in-itself), we argue that the quantum wave function (Ψ) does not represent a physical field in the noumenal world, but rather the generative model of a prediction-generating cognitive agent. In this framework, "superposition" represents a state of uninitialized probabilistic expectation (Latent Space), while "collapse" is reinterpreted as a Bayesian belief update—the discrete transition from a probability distribution to a definite value, necessitated by the information-processing constraints of the observer. By treating the observer not as a passive witness but as an active inference engine, this framework: Naturalizes the collapse postulate: Measurement is the update of an internal model, not a physical discontinuity in nature. Resolves nested-observer paradoxes: Wigner's Friend is resolved by treating reality as a distributed system with eventual consistency, where distinct agents hold distinct local cache states. Grounds the Born Rule: We argue that the squared-amplitude probability rule (P=∣Ψ∣2) serves as a transcendental constraint (akin to Gleason’s Theorem) required for the internal consistency of any probabilistic agent. This interpretation suggests that the "weirdness" of quantum mechanics reflects the necessary architectural constraints of any finite mind attempting to model an inaccessible reality, effectively treating physics as the "User Interface" of reality.
