The Strange 4D Rose as a Visualization of the Temporal Shadow: A Retarded-Projection Interpretation of the Wavefunction with Bekenstein-Bounded Complexity Collapse

Abstract

We present a refined interpretation of the Strange 4D Rose introduced in pre- vious work. The Rose is not the wavefunction itself, but a visualization of the four-dimensional probability structure of the temporal shadow — the retarded pro- jection of a real particle that remains in the past. The wavefunction at present is an informational shadow propagating strictly forward in time. Collapse occurs when the shadow’s complexity, measured against the Bekenstein bound, exceeds a critical threshold. This interpretation eliminates retrocausality, preserves a uniform present time, recovers standard quantum mechanics in the low-complexity limit, and naturally explains the uncertainty principle as an emergent property of retarded propagation. The Rose becomes a geometric diagram of where the shadow is most likely to be found, not an ontological claim about branching realities. Experimental predictions for matter-wave interferometry are preserved and refined.

The Strange 4D Rose: A Visual Interpretation of Wavefunction Collapse as Informational Pruning

GUILHERME ZAMBUZI

We present a visual and intuitive model of quantum wavefunction collapse based on the image of a ”Strange 4D Rose” — a structure in which all possible quantum histories branch at each Planck time step, including paths that move backward in coordinate time. Collapse occurs not by an external measurement, but by informational prun- ing: when the local information required to maintain a branch exceeds a fundamental threshold (e.g., the Bekenstein bound), that branch is stochastically eliminated. This picture recovers the Feynman path integral, explains the arrow of time as preferential pruning of backward-propagating branches, and naturally accommodates entanglement, tunneling, and decoherence. A companion paper [1] provides the formal mathematical framework, including the entropy-growth rate and explicit experimental predictions for matter-wave interferometers

The Higher-Dimensional Time Hypothesis for Photons Explaining Quantum State Collapse and Apparent Retrocausality 光子高維度時間機制猜想:解釋量子態坍縮與逆時間因果現象

MING-HAN CHEN

Abstract Conceptual Overview In quantum mechanics, light exhibits either wave-like or particle-like behavior depending on the measurement configuration. Simultaneously, according to Special Relativity, a photon experiences zero proper time ($\Delta \tau = 0$) between emission and absorption in its own reference frame. Integrating these two foundational physics principles suggests that $\Delta \tau = 0$ should not be interpreted merely as a absence of time ("timelessness" or dimensional degeneracy). Instead, it represents a dimensional elevation (dimension-raising) of the photon's temporal framework: Higher-Dimensional Time & Projection: The near-zero proper time ($\Delta \tau = 0$) in the photon's rest frame projects onto our $3\text{D}+1\text{T}$ Minkowski spacetime by spanning the photon's entire worldline across time $T$. Mathematically, this null proper time frame acts as a higher-dimensional temporal manifold containing the complete path of the photon. Essential Collapse: When a measurement occurs, it does not alter past events. Rather, the photon's underlying state collapses within its higher-dimensional temporal frame ($\Delta \tau = 0$). This intrinsic collapse is globally projected onto the entire 4D temporal path $T$, rendering the history consistent with the observation. Eliminating Retrocausality: Macroscopic observers, bound to discrete temporal slices, perceive this global projection as an apparent "retrocausal effect"—mistakenly believing that a late-stage measurement retroactively changes past history. In reality, the causal structure is resolved holistically within the higher-dimensional temporal frame, appearing in 4D as a unified projection.

A Temporal Interpretation of Quantum Measurement (Revised and Clarified Formulation)

Roberto Carlos Moleirinho Batista

Abstract This article presents a revised and conceptually refined formulation of a previously proposed Temporal Interpretation of quantum measurement, explicitly addressing the physical nature of wavefunction collapse. While the original proposal emphasised relativistic aspects of momentum superpositions, the present work clarifies the interpretation within the standard formalism of quantum mechanics, without introducing new dynamics or experimental predictions. Unitary evolution is read as a process of differentiated phase accumulation between branches of a quantum state. In relativistic contexts, phase differentials can be structurally related to effective proper-time differentials, allowing the introduction of a notion of temporal compatibility that provides a physically grounded account of decoherence. When such differentials exceed a characteristic scale, interference between branches becomes operationally inaccessible, while global unitarity is preserved. The observer is treated as a physical system endowed with an irreversible proper time associated with macroscopic, entropic dynamics. Within this framework, collapse is explained as an emergent physical phenomenon arising from the irreversibility of the observer’s proper time, which prevents the reconstruction of phase coherence after an interaction. Collapse is therefore neither a fundamental dynamical mechanism nor an objective event in space-time, but a necessary consequence of temporal irreversibility in physical observers. This formulation sharpens the distinction between decoherence and collapse, preserves full consistency with the Born rule, and positions the Temporal Interpretation as a competing interpretative framework that provides a concrete physical explanation for the quantum–classical transition, improving and clarifying the original proposal. This version clarifies the operational status of the interaction time, refines Sections 5.3 and 5.4, and standardises references and editorial structure. No changes to the formalism or conclusions.

A 5th-Dimensional Geometric Model for Wave-Particle Duality

M Coffey

This paper proposes a synthesis of the ER=EPR conjecture and Kaluza-Klein 5D theory to resolve the observer paradox. We define the wavefunction as a 4D temporal projection of a static 5th-dimensional geometric manifold. We argue that "collapse" is a dimensional phase transition triggered when entanglement reaches a saturation threshold (E=1.0), transitioning the system from a probabilistic 4D state to a deterministic 5D coordinate via an Einstein-Rosen bridge. Unlike standard holographic frameworks or the conventional ER=EPR conjecture which model a higher-dimensional bulk emerging from lower-dimensional boundary entanglement, this framework introduces an uncompactified 5D Kaluza-Klein static manifold as the primary ontology—defining 4D spacetime, linear time, and wavefunction collapse as cross-sectional, top-down projection artifacts of a fixed higher geometry.

Parallel Worlds Without World Splitting: A Unitary Retarded Probability Dynamics Interpretation of Apparent Multiversality

AI Trinity Labo

This paper proposes a reinterpretation of quantum multiversality based on Unitary Retarded Probability Dynamics (URPD), a framework in which time evolution emerges from delayed informational averaging rather than instantaneous state updates. In contrast to the Many-Worlds Interpretation, URPD does not posit ontologically distinct parallel worlds. Instead, phenomena commonly interpreted as world branching—such as superposition, interference, and apparent outcome selection—are explained as the dynamical dominance of delayed reference states weighted by an information-dependent kernel. A minimal concrete URPD model is presented using standard Hilbert space quantum mechanics, together with an explicit choice of information distance and weighting kernel. Within this model, double-slit interference and decoherence-like suppression arise naturally without invoking wavefunction collapse or world splitting. The framework admits a controlled limit in which conventional Schrödinger dynamics is recovered, establishing consistency with standard quantum mechanics while relaxing the assumption of instantaneous updating. Probabilities emerge from relative informational influence rather than branch counting, offering an alternative resolution to the measurement problem. URPD thus reframes apparent multiversality as an emergent, time-delayed informational structure within a single world, providing a conceptually economical alternative to many-worlds ontology.

Reinterpreting Quantum Phenomena via Unitary Retarded Probability Dynamics

AI Trinity Labo

This work presents a unified reinterpretation framework for quantum phenomena based on Unitary Retarded Probability Dynamics (URPD). URPD replaces instantaneous time evolution and measurement-induced wavefunction collapse with a structure grounded in temporal delay, informational distance, and probabilistic weighting. Quantum dynamics emerge from retarded probabilistic averaging over informationally separated reference states. Within this framework, standard quantum phenomena—including double-slit interference, the quantum Zeno effect, weak measurement and weak values, quantum entanglement, and effective temporal discreteness—arise naturally without introducing additional axioms. Standard quantum mechanics is recovered as a limiting case where delay fluctuations vanish. URPD preserves relativistic causality by constraining delayed informational contributions and reinterprets the invariance of the speed of light as a consequence of shared informational geometry rather than a fundamental postulate. A more general and foundational formulation of URPD itself is developed in *Classical Science Assumes Instantaneity — and That Assumption Is Wrong*, where the framework is presented in a fully unified form beyond the quantum sector. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17987215
