Coherence Fields and the Schr¨odinger Equation: A Linearized Phase-Coherent Regime

Abstract

This paper investigates whether the coherence field Rc(x, t) of Relational Field Theory (RFT) admits a linearized phase-coherent regime that is consistent with the form of the Schr¨odinger equation. We start from the RFT evolution equation for Rc, introduce the phase-coherent condition Rc = |Rc|eiϕ(x,t), perform a linearization around a stable coherence well, and derive the correspondence to the Schr¨odinger form. The analysis focuses solely on the mathematical consistency of the mapping and the conditions under which the linearised dynamics reproduce the familiar equation. No broader interpretive or foundational claims are made.

Coherence Fields and the Uncertainty Principle: A Stability Correspondence

Clinton Svancara

This paper investigates whether the coherence field Rc(t) of Relational Field Theory (RFT) admits a stability correspondence that is consistent with the form of the uncertainty principle. We start from the RFT evolution equation for Rc(t), identify uncertainty limits with fluctuations in coherence under measurement interactions, and show the correspondence in the high-stability limit. The analysis focuses solely on the mathematical consistency of the mapping and the conditions under which the coherence dynamics reproduce the familiar uncertainty relation. No broader interpretive or foundational claims are made.

Coherence Fields and Electromagnetic Gauge Structure: A Phase-Mode Correspondence

Clinton Svancara

This paper investigates whether the coherence field Rc(x, t) of Relational Field Theory (RFT) admits a phase-mode correspondence that is consistent with the gauge structure of the Maxwell equations. We start from the RFT evolution equation for Rc, note its global U(1) phase invariance, promote the symmetry to a local transformation, and derive the resulting vector field and field-strength tensor. The analysis focuses solely on the mathematical consistency of the mapping and the conditions under which the phase mode reproduces the familiar Maxwell form. No broader interpretive or foundational claims are made.

Coherence Fields and Path Integrals: A Correspondence for Quantum Electrodynamics

Clinton Svancara

This paper investigates whether the coherence field Rc(x, t) of Relational Field Theory (RFT) admits a correspondence whose trajectory summation is consistent with the path-integral formulation of quantum electrodynamics. We start from the RFT evolution equation for Rc, consider phase-coherent paths, and derive the effective action weighting. The analysis focuses solely on the mathematical consistency of the mapping and the conditions under which the correspondence reproduces the familiar path-integral structure. No broader interpretive or foundational claims are made.

2025-11-17_RFT_Schrodinger_From_the_Kernel_Quantum_Mechanics_as_Coherence_Phase-Locking

Svancara, Clinton

We derive the Schr¨odinger equation directly from the Relational Kernel identity: Ω = Ω[Rc]. No wave function postulate. No quantization. No complex numbers assumed. The Schr¨odinger equation emerges as the linear, phase-coherent limit of Kernel evolution: • Rc = ℜ[eiϕ] → i from phase-locked time • ˙Rc = α∇2Rc + V (Rc) → Hamiltonian from curvature • ψ = Rc − Rc0 → wave function as coherence deviation1 Result: iℏ ∂ψ ∂t = ˆH ψ The parameter ℏ emerges as the stiffness of phase rotation in coherent Rc wells, setting the scale of permissible phase curvature. Quantum mechanics is Kernel dynamics in the high-stability, phase-aligned regime. The field does not wave. It locks. Provenance: Originally published on Zenodo (Oct- 2025). 10.5281/zenodo.17625987

Schrödinger From the Kernel: Quantum Mechanics as Coherence Phase-Locking

Svancara, Clinton

We derive the Schrödinger equation directly from the Relational Kernel identity Ω = Ω[R₍c₎], without invoking wave function postulates, quantization rules, complex-number axioms, or Copenhagen collapse. In the phase-coherent regime, Rc adopts the form Rc = ℜ[e^{iϕ}], leading to emergent complex time and phase stiffness. Linearization around a stable coherence well yields ψ = Rc − Rc₀, producing the full Schrödinger equation iℏ∂ψ/∂t = Ĥψ with ℏ identified as the stiffness of phase rotation. Measurement corresponds not to wavefunction collapse but to threshold-driven domain locking. We also provide a falsifiable laboratory protocol that distinguishes Kernel dynamics from Copenhagen collapse.

Relational Field Theory (RFT): Axiom Sheet and Derived Theorems (v1.0)

Svancara, Clinton

This document presents the formal mathematical axiomization of Relational Field Theory (RFT), establishing a single ontological primitive— the bounded scalar coherence field —and deriving the self-referential domain constraint .The Axiom Sheet (A1–A9) formalizes the Kernel identity, coherence evolution equation, domain threshold conditions, Genesis principle, and measurement-as-locking interpretation. A second section provides representative derived theorems showing how known physical laws emerge as limiting behaviors of and , including: Schrödinger equation as phase-locked Kernel dynamics Newtonian mechanics as low-curvature Rc trajectories General relativity as effective curvature geometry of Rc Maxwell/gauge structure as coherence-preserving invariants Thermodynamics as entropy of coherence loss Absence of physical singularities from Rc-threshold constraints This document serves as the foundational formal layer for the full RFT corpus, establishing the axiomatic base from which all subsequent proofs and derivations follow.
