基于SSFBG的±π/2和0/π相移编码的安全性比较

张学典, 颜泽帆, 焦加洁 +1 more

KNOWLEDGE EXCESS DUALITY AND VIOLATION OF BELL INEQUALITIES: THEORY AND EXPERIMENT

Miroslav Gavenda, Antonín Černoch, Jan Soubusta +2 more

We analyze correlations between two parties sharing a general mixed two-qubit state ρSM in order to predict measurement outcomes. It is an interesting question as to what can be predicted about the results of two complementary projective measurements on one qubit from the measurement results on the other qubit. To quantify these predictions the complementary knowledge excessesΔK(ΠM→ΠS) and ΔK(Π′M→Π′S) are used, where ΠS, Π′S resp. ΠM, Π′M represent projective measurements on the qubit S resp. M. We derive an inequality ΔK2(ΠM→ΠS) + ΔK2(Π′M→Π′S)≤(B max /2)2, where B max is the maximum violation of Bell inequalities. This inequality restricts our capability to enhance the complementary predictions for any state ρSM and for arbitrary ΠS, Π′S and ΠM, Π′M. This result is experimentally verified on two-photon Werner states prepared by means of spontaneous parametric down-conversion.

Exact solution of the Schrodinger equation for a particle in a tetrahedral box

H. R. Krishnamurthy, Hamdi Mani, Harish Chandra Verma

The authors obtain the exact solution of the Schrodinger equation for a particle confined to (i) an equilateral triangle, (ii) a tetrahedral box with corners (- pi / square root 2,- pi / square root 2,- pi / square root 2), ( pi / square root 2,- pi / square root 2, pi /2); (- pi / square root 2, pi / square root 2, pi /2) and ( pi square root 2, pi / square root 2,- pi /2). The energies are: for (i) E nl =(8h(cross) 2 pi 2 /9mL 2 )(n 2 +l 2 -ln) where L is the side of the triangle and l, n are distinct non-zero integers and for (ii), E lmn =(h(cross) 2 /8m)*(3(l 2 +m 2 +n 2 )-2lm-2mn-2nl) where l, m and n are distinct non-zero integers. The wavefunctions have been classified according to the irreducible representation of the corresponding symmetry groups.
