Abstract

An accurate model for the reconstruction of polarization quantum states under noisy measurement conditions is developed. To ensure correct analysis of quantum state readout, a mathematical model of fuzzy measurements is applied. It is demonstrated that the proposed method significantly improves the fidelity of polarization state reconstruction taking into account quantum noise and decoherence processes.

Abstract An algorithm for forming an adequate model for reconstructing polarization quantum states under noisy conditions is presented. For the correct analysis of the statistics of reading quantum states, a mathematical model of fuzzy measurements is used. It is shown that the developed method allows us to significantly increase the accuracy of reconstructing polarization states under the influence of quantum noise and decoherence processes.

The report presents a general approach for estimating quantum information technologies by means of fuzzy quantum measurements. The developed methods are used for precision reconstruction of quantum states under conditions of significant influence of decoherence and quantum noise. Monitoring of the amount of information about quantum states and their parameters, including the loss of information caused by the effect of quantum noise, is considered. Development of Fuzzy Quantum Measurement Protocols for Ionic Qudits

K. B. Koksharov, Bogdanov Yu, B. I. Bantysh +1 more

Abstract A model for calculating quantum tomography protocols of ionic qudits is proposed, which allows taking into account errors in setting transformation parameters during measurements. The fidelity of ionic qudit tomography under errors in specifying transformation parameters is compared between the standard method and the method of fuzzy quantum measurements. A radical advantage of the fuzzy quantum measurement model over the standard model is demonstrated. It is shown that the developed model makes it possible to obtain a set of two-level of quantum state transformations of qudits that ensures the implementation of the given quantum measurement protocol.

Mitigation of Preparation, Transformation, and Measurement Errors of a Two-Qubit State in Mølmer–Sørensen Gate Tomography

I. A. Dmitriev, Yu. I. Bogdanov, B. I. Bantysh +2 more

Abstract A method for quantum-process reconstruction using fuzzy measurement operators has been developed, where readout errors and decoherence of an ion-trap quantum register are incorporated into the effective measurement operators. The proposed approach outperforms standard methods that neglect measurement errors and decoherence in accurately reconstructing the Mølmer–Sørensen gate. Numerical experiments with entangled two-qubit states confirm that the proposed model significantly improves the fidelity of quantum process reconstruction. The obtained results demonstrate the potential of the proposed approach for creating more reliable and precise control methods in quantum computing on an ion platform, which is important for the development of quantum computing technologies.
