Abstract

Abstract The monogamy and polygamy properties of quantum entanglement characterize fundamental constraints on the distribution of entanglement in multipartite quantum systems. In this paper, we investigate tighter monogamy and polygamy relations for multipartite entanglement. By establishing a new mathematical inequality, we derive a family of improved monogamy and polygamy inequalities for tripartite quantum systems and further extend these results to general multipartite systems. Comparisons with existing results show that the obtained bounds are tighter. Illustrative examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed relations.

Parameterized monogamy and polygamy relations of multipartite entanglement

Zhong-Xi 中喜 Shen 沈, Ke-Ke 珂珂 Wang 王, Shao-Ming Fei

Monogamy and polygamy relations are important properties of entanglement, which characterize the entanglement distribution of multipartite systems. We explore monogamy and polygamy relations of entanglement in multipartite systems by using two newly derived parameterized mathematical inequalities, and establish classes of parameterized monogamy and polygamy relations of multiqubit entanglement in terms of concurrence and entanglement of formation. We show that these new parameterized monogamy and poelygamy inequalities are tighter than the existing ones by detailed examples.

Tighter Constraints of Multiqubit Entanglement*

Abstract Monogamy and polygamy relations characterize the distributions of entanglement in multipartite systems. We provide classes of monogamy and polygamy inequalities of multiqubit entanglement in terms of concurrence, entanglement of formation, negativity, Tsallis-q entanglement, and Rényi-α entanglement, respectively. We show that these inequalities are tighter than the existing ones for some classes of quantum states.

Monogamy and polygamy relations characterize the distributions of entanglement in multipartite systems. We provide classes of monogamy and polygamy inequalities of multiqubit entanglement in terms of concurrence, entanglement of formation, negativity, Tsallis-$q$ entanglement and R\'{e}nyi-$\alpha$ entanglement, respectively. We show that these inequalities are tighter than the existing ones for some classes of quantum states.

Refined monogamy and polygamy relations for multipartite quantum entanglement

Xia Zhang, Ming Liu, Haitao Ma +1 more

Abstract Monogamy and polygamy relations quantify complementary restrictions on the distribution of entanglement in multipartite quantum systems. We establish two endpoint-matched scalar inequalities that retain a hierarchy-dependent mixed term discarded by standard weighted estimates. Conditional on a valid base-power monogamy or polygamy relation for the chosen entanglement quantity and state class, these inequalities yield refined tripartite bounds and recursive extensions to arbitrary numbers of parties. Analytical comparison with earlier coefficients proves that the resulting monogamy lower bounds are no smaller and the polygamy upper bounds are no larger throughout the common parameter domain. Concurrence and concurrence-of-assistance examples verify the ordering and identify the equality conditions.

We investigate the monogamy and polygamy inequalities of arbitrary multipartite quantum states, and provide new classes of monogamy and polygamy inequalities of multiqubit entanglement in terms o f concurrence, entanglement of formation, negativity, and Tsallis- q entanglement, respectively. We show that these new monogamy and polygamy inequality relations are tighter than the existing ones with detailed examples.
