Zero-Dimensional Origin and Structural Expansion

Abstract

We present a measure–operator framework in which structural degrees of freedom emerge from a zero-dimensional origin under unitary evolution. Structural processes and constraints are represented as measurable subsets of a configuration space and lifted to projection operators on a Hilbert space. A structural dimension operator is defined as the sum of these projections, and its expectation value quantifies the effective number of structural subspaces occupied by the state. The formalism unifies set-theoretic measure identities, projection algebra, and quantum dynamics within a single minimal axiomatic structure.

Emergent Structural Dimensionality and Operator-Induced Complex Structure from a Zero-Dimensional Origin

Guanhua Yu

We develop a minimal measure–operator framework in which structural dimensionality emerges from a zero-dimensional origin using real operator algebra. Structural driving and constraint are represented by measurable sets lifted to orthogonal projections on a real Hilbert space. The dimension operator (\hat{D}) quantifies occupied structural sectors. Non-commutativity of the projections generates cyclic subspaces from the origin. On certain low-dimensional invariant subspaces a skew-symmetric generator induces a canonical complex structure (J) with (J^2 = -I). A positive-definite G/H ratio (\alpha) provides irreversible growth along an entropy-directed parameter (s). When the effective generator is quadratic on higher-dimensional invariant subspaces, Hermite–Gaussian mode hierarchies and conjugate pairs appear. The framework clearly separates rigorous theorems from additional assumptions required for rotational and modal emergence.

On the Structural Origin of Quantum Mechanics: A Projection-Based Reconstruction of the Quantum Formalism

Erik Axelkrans

This paper presents a structural reconstruction of the formal core of quantum mechanics fromthe properties of a bounded, linear, distinguishability-reducing projection acting on a generalfunctional space. Effective quantum states are identified with equivalence classes under theprojection ΠQM : H∗ → HQM and the Hilbert-space structure of HQM is induced by a positiveoperator K on the underlying space.Within this framework, the characteristic elements of quantum theory emerge as direct conse-quences of projection geometry and operator structure. Linearity yields superposition, quadraticnorms on equivalence classes give rise to the Born rule, non-factorizability leads to entangle-ment and commuting local algebras ensure no-signalling. Schrödinger-type unitary dynamicsarises from projection of symmetric generators, Dirac-type operators follow from algebraic com-patibility with Clifford structures and violations of classical Bell inequalities together with theTsirelson bound are enforced by operator-norm constraints in the projected C∗-algebra.No hidden variables are introduced and no modification of standard empirical quantummechanics is proposed. Rather than postulating the quantum formalism as axiomatic, theanalysis shows that its defining structures form a highly constrained and stable outcome oflinear projection, equivalence-class geometry, and norm-preserving dynamics.Rather than introducing new physical dynamics, the purpose of this work is to clarify why theestablished quantum formalism admits so little structural freedom once a small set of minimalrequirements is imposed.

Constraint Operators as a Unified Structural Framework in Physics.

Thanh Minh Nguyen

We propose a constraint-based formalism in which physical systems are characterized by operators acting on a state space. In this framework, constraint operators encode admissibility, projection, and structural restriction in a unified manner. We analyze the algebraic properties of these operators and show that, under natural conditions, they form a projection-based structure. This perspective provides a common structural language that accommodates diverse physical theories. In particular, projection operators in quantum mechanics may be interpreted as instances of constraint operators, and measurement processes may be viewed as constraint-driven transformations. In statistical and information-theoretic contexts, entropy can be interpreted as a coarse-grained measure of the size of constraint-compatible state spaces. The proposed formalism does not aim to replace existing theories, but to provide a minimal and theory-independent framework for describing how physical structure may arise from constraints. This work provides a structural bridge between constraint-based formulations and projection structures in quantum mechanics.

On a Constraint–Theoretical Reinterpretation of Quantum Measurement

Kevin Shepheard

Quantum measurement theory traditionally introduces probabilities axiomatically, most notably through the Born rule and projection postulates. In this work, I introduce Constraint Mechanics (CM), a framework in which quantum probabilities arise as conditional statistics over dynamically generated constraint fields acting on configuration space, without modifying unitary Schrödinger evolution or introducing dynamical collapse. A detector-scale conditional measurement operator is defined using soft viability weights that do not alter the wavefunction. I prove that the Born rule is recovered exactly as a theorem in the limit of spatially homogeneous constraints, while structured deviations emerge under heterogeneous constraint profiles with exact norm preservation. Numerical validation using a double-slit geometry confirms unitary evolution, exact normalization, and controlled deviation behavior. CM reframes quantum measurement as conditioning on dynamically viable configuration-space regions and provides a unifying interpretational link between interference, measurement, and selection.

Constraint Cascades and the Emergence of Projection in Quantum Measurement

Thanh Minh Nguyen

Quantum measurement is traditionally described through projection operators acting instantaneously on a quantum state. While this formalism is operationally successful, its underlying physical interpretation remains open to discussion. In this work, we explore a structural perspective in which projection operators are interpreted as effective constraint operators, and measurement processes are modeled as sequences of constraint operations forming a constraint cascade. Rather than viewing measurement as a single abrupt transformation, this framework interprets it as a structured multi-stage process involving interaction, amplification, detection, and environmental coupling. Within this viewpoint, projection-like behavior may emerge as an effective description of an underlying cascade of physical constraint processes, potentially accompanied by decoherence effects. The approach does not aim to replace standard quantum mechanics, but to provide a conceptual bridge between operator-based measurement formalisms and physically implemented measurement dynamics. This work represents an early step toward a broader structural interpretation of quantum measurement and continuous quantum–classical emergence.

The Dimensional Origin of Hilbert Space: From 1D Simplicity to 3D Quantum Structure

lichao

We present comprehensive evidence that Hilbert space structure emerges naturally fromdimensional constraints in classical dynamical systems. Through systematic analysis acrossdimensions 1-4, we validate the scaling law Cd ∝ d1.435 for the stability-activity uncertaintyconstant Cd. Crucially, we show that 1D systems rapidly converge to minimal C1 values butform only simple structures, while 3D systems struggle to reach C3 minima yet spontaneouslygenerate complex τ -clustering patterns {1, 3, 8}. This dimensional progression provides themathematical foundation for Hilbert space construction: simple 1D systems establish thebasic state space, 2D systems introduce phase relationships, and 3D systems generate thenon-commuting operator algebra necessary for full quantum structure. Our work demon-strates that quantum mechanics’ Hilbert space formalism is not fundamental but emergesfrom optimization across dimensions. Keywords: dimensional emergence, Hilbert space foundation, stability-activity uncer-tainty, τ -clustering, quantum structure emergence
