Modern physics describes the universe through two incompatible frameworks: general relativity for the macroscopic world and quantum mechanics for the microscopic. The Absolute Medium (AM) model offers a unifying perspective: all matter is comprised of stable, persistent vortices in a continuous, fluid-like medium. This medium is not a passive background but an active participant in all physical processes. By treating particles as vortex structures, we can explain quantum behavior as fluid dynamics at the nanoscale, nuclear interactions as vortex nesting, and the emergence of life as the natural progression of complexity within the medium. We present a comprehensive model in which the fundamental substrate of reality is an all-pervading Absolute Medium (AM). The proton is the primary, self-sustaining vortex (“storm”) in this medium; all other particles are either composite states (the neutron as a proton with a nested electron) or transient fragments (quarks, gluons) produced when protons are violently disrupted. This framework provides intuitive, mechanical explanations for quantum phenomena such as wave-particle duality, the double-slit experiment, the uncertainty principle, and Pauli exclusion. It also accounts for nuclear transformations (electron capture, beta decay), the mass surplus of the neutron, and the formation of jets in high-energy collisions. Extending to complex systems, the model naturally leads to the emergence of life and consciousness as hierarchical vortex structures that process information. The AM model resolves longstanding paradoxes by treating the medium as a real physical entity whose dynamics become dominant at small scales.

This work presents a unified, realistic, and mechanically grounded interpretation of fundamental physics across all scales, from quarks and elementary particles to atoms, macroscopic bodies, planetary motion, and black holes. The proposed framework provides a single coherent physical description capable of reproducing and explaining, within a common dynamical structure, the full range of phenomena traditionally treated separately by general relativity, quantum mechanics, and quantum electrodynamics. Within this approach, long-standing conceptual problems such as wave–particle duality, quantum interference, entanglement, and wavefunction collapse are not postulated as fundamental features of nature, but emerge naturally as dynamical properties of a physically real medium. The apparent dual behavior of matter and radiation, as well as nonlocal quantum correlations, arise from coherent and topologically constrained excitations of this medium, without invoking probabilistic ontologies or nonphysical abstractions. The theory is based on a revised physical concept of space, treated as a real superfluid medium endowed with density, elasticity, viscosity, permittivity, permeability, and a very small but non-zero electrical conductivity. In this model, space is no longer a passive geometric background, but an active physical system capable of storing, transmitting, and dissipating energy.Mass is interpreted as an isotropic compression of the superfluid, electric charge as an oriented torsional configuration, and fields as elastic stress and vorticity distributions of the medium itself. Electromagnetic and gravitational waves are described as propagating perturbations of the superfluid, while particles correspond to stable solitonic configurations sustained by the medium dynamics. At the microscopic level, starting from classical fluid equations (continuity and Euler equations) and applying the Madelung transformation, the Schrödinger equation is shown to emerge as a compact complex representation of the underlying real fluid dynamics, rather than as a fundamental postulate. Quantum phenomena such as quantization, tunneling, spin, and exclusion principles follow from stability, coherence, and topological constraints of solitonic wave structures. On cosmological scales, the same framework provides a unified interpretation of redshift, large-scale expansion phenomena, and the cosmic microwave background as cumulative dynamical and dissipative effects of wave propagation within the superfluid medium, rather than as consequences of metric expansion alone. Effects commonly attributed to dark matter and dark energy are reinterpreted as emergent manifestations of spatial density gradients, elastic stresses, and dissipative properties of the superfluid, without introducing additional unknown components. A wide range of experimentally verified phenomena—including the photoelectric effect, Compton scattering, Zeeman–Stark effects, the Aharonov–Bohm effect, Casimir effect, Unruh radiation, and cosmological attenuation effects—are consistently described within this unified framework. The proposed model offers an alternative foundational paradigm for physics, in which space, matter, and interactions emerge from a single physically intelligible dynamical system, restoring a continuous and causal description of nature from microscopic to cosmological scales.
This comprehensive paper presents a unified synthesis of quantum mechanics, particle physics, and cosmological implications, establishing a coherent ontological framework for understanding the fundamental structure of matter and its relationship to mortality and consciousness. We establish that reality operates through a clear hierarchical structure: from fundamental particles (electrons, photons, quarks) to composite particles (protons, neutrons) to bound systems (atoms, molecules) to classical structures (matter, life, consciousness). Central to this work is the distinction between stable quantum objects (particularly electrons) and mortal composite structures (nuclei, atoms, molecules). We present an interpretive framework in which electrons are entities of extraordinary stability that perpetually embody wave-particle duality without requiring actualization into classical point particles. Measurement outcomes emerge from entanglement-induced decoherence involving third quantum objects rather than wave-function collapse, preserving unitary evolution throughout. This framework builds upon and extends established decoherence theory, particularly the work of Zurek, while offering a more explicit ontological commitment to persistent duality as an intrinsic electron property. Electron stability is qualified accurately: electrons are protected from decay under the conditions prevailing in our matter-dominated universe. In matter-antimatter environments, electron-positron annihilation does occur. The framework maintains consistency with the Born rule, empirical evidence, and existing quantum mechanical predictions while providing ontological clarity regarding the nature of reality
The double-slit experiment stands as the cornerstone of quantum mysticism, often interpreted as evidence for particles existing in multiple places simultaneously or consciousness collapsing reality. Within the Absolute Medium (AM) Model, this experiment ceases to be a probabilistic paradox and becomes a deterministic, fluid-dynamic interaction between a moving excitation and the universal energetic net. We demonstrate that what standard physics calls “wave-particle duality” is actually “core-wake duality”: a localized topological defect (the core) moving through an ultra-dense elastic substrate generates a physical wave field (the wake) that interferes, guiding the core along paths of least resistance. All variations of the experiment— which-way measurements, delayed choice, quantum eraser—receive mechanical explanations grounded in the medium’s properties. This framework eliminates the need for superposition, wavefunction collapse, or observer-created reality, replacing them with the coherent dynamics of a continuous medium.
The quantum–classical divide remains one of the most persistent conceptual challenges in modern physics. Conventionally, this transition is explained through decoherence— the environment-induced loss of phase coherence via interaction with external degrees of freedom. While phenomenologically successful, decoherence theory does not provide a fundamental mechanical substrate for why quantum behavior emerges preferentially at small scales and vanishes systematically at large ones. It remains a statistical account rather than a mechanistic one. The Absolute Medium (AM) framework offers an alternative foundation by re-conceptualizing spacetime not as an abstract arena, but as a Universal Force Continuum— a baseline of potential energy that precedes and underlies physical matter. In this formulation, the vacuum is characterized not by emptiness but by structured tension, where the “graininess” emerges from equilibrium conditions within the continuum itself. This graininess is quantified by the Energetic Net, defined by the fundamental length scale Lfund ≈ 3.34 nm. This scale represents the characteristic spacing at which the continuum’s tension reaches local equilibrium, creating a natural lattice structure. The continuum is neither rigid nor fluid in conventional terms, but exists in a state of dynamic equilibrium where its tension field supports both wave-like propagation and particle-like anchoring. This intrinsic structural property of the vacuum introduces a natural scale separation that defines two distinct dynamical regimes:• Slippage (Quantum) Regime (d < Lfund, m < mcrit): Particles interact with the continuum through local tension fluctuations without engaging its equilibrium structure. Their motion is governed by stochastic variations in the continuum’s potential field, yielding emergent quantum behavior.• Bulk-Coupled (Classical) Regime (d ≥ Lfund, m ≥ mcrit): Objects span multiple equilibrium nodes of the continuum, engaging its fundamental structure. They must displace the continuum’s equilibrium configuration, triggering deterministic volumetric coupling that recovers classical mechanics. This proposal replaces abstract decoherence with a concrete mechanical transition rooted in the continuum properties of the vacuum. It offers a first-principles explanation for the emergence of both quantum and classical dynamics from a unified energetic continuum, with the transition governed by intrinsic properties of the medium rather than external interactions.
The Quantum theory deals with the microscopic structure of the Universe that describes the finer details of nature at the subatomic domain. To a physicist, quantum mechanics is one of the three great pillars supporting our intuition of evocative, bewildering and fascinating natural World as we continuously struggle with the inescapable strangeness of the subatomic domain as if something strange is always afoot. It is well accepted fact that quantum mechanics is a physical theory that describes the way things behave at subatomic level which is quite dazzling in its precision and explanatory power.A test of quantum electrodynamics, the oldest and best understood of the modern quantum theory that involves measuring the way an electron behaves in the vicinity of a magnetic force. Many of the technological and social changes that have revolutionized our lives have actually risen out of the fundamental theoretical research carried out with only motivation to understand the World in a better way than ever. For example, the invention of transistor actually came with the fundamental theoretical research on the Uncertainty Principle which states that the uncertainty of the position of a particle times the uncertainty of its velocity is always a constant. If we double the certainty of the position of the particle, we have to make half the certainty of its velocity and vice versa. Quantum theory is perhaps the prime example of the infinitely esoteric in the sense that it describes a World in which a particle really can be in several places at once and it moves from one place to another by exploring the entire Universe simultaneously-the theory of simultaneity. The diverse and complex Universe is actually made of a few tiny particles according to the rules of quantum theory which is so simple that can be summarized on the back of an envelope. The more we understand about the elemental nature of the Universe, the simpler it looks. We have already discovered that everything in the diverse and complex Universe is nothing but the different assemblies of atoms, and the wide variety of atoms are constructed using the three building blocks at the sub-atomic domain i.e. subatomic particles: protons, neutrons and electrons. We have also discovered that protons and neutrons ate made up of combination of three entities called quarks. And that is where things stop as far as recent discovery is concerned. But the recent progress in particle physics inspiring the quest for the ultimate unified theory of physics that can describe everything in the Universe in one go. The discovery of Boson particle certainty will revolutionaries the Newton's mass concept and gravity into whole new looks. To an optimistic point of view, we must hope the best out of the progress in physics.
The mainstream system of physics today is shackled by three major theoretical frameworks that fundamentally deviate from research rooted in matter and objective reality. All three are constructed based on abstract assumptions that contradict intuitive material motion and formal logic. First, the geometric metaphysical system derived from General Relativity, including spacetime curvature, Einstein’s field equations, extra dimensions, gravitational waves, black hole singularities, the Big Bang, dark matter, dark energy, spacetime distortion, wormholes and other related flawed propositions. This framework arbitrarily reinterprets gravitational effects of celestial bodies as unobservable geometric deformations of spacetime, and fabricates the concept of "gravitational waves" claimed to propagate at the speed of light. Quantitative calculations targeting the 1.3-billion-light-year black hole merger event prove that the field equations artificially set a mere 5% mass loss ratio. The calculated amplitude of gravitational fluctuations is tens of thousands of times larger than values derived from Newtonian mechanics consistent with real material transformation rules. This parameter is only a fitting tool to match detected signals, contradicting the objective law that all solid matter converts into photon plasma and gravitational force vanishes completely after celestial mergers. When calculations from the field equations conflict with galactic observational data, scholars invent unobservable hypothetical concepts such as dark matter, dark energy and extra dimensions to patch theoretical gaps, deliberately ignoring empirically verifiable physical mechanisms including interstellar plasma refraction and instantaneous action-at-a-distance gravitational force between celestial bodies. Second, the probabilistic idealistic interpretation of quantum mechanics, covering quantum superposition, Schrödinger’s cat, wave function collapse, observer effect, probability clouds, Heisenberg uncertainty principle, and subjectively biased explanations of quantum entanglement. This system breaks the law of contradiction in formal logic by asserting that objects can simultaneously hold mutually exclusive states, and arbitrarily proposes wave-particle duality to misclassify photons as entities possessing both wave and particle properties. Researchers deliberately avoid measuring fundamental parameters of photons such as vibration amplitude, vibration angle and vibration frequency. Intuitive experimental contrasts show interference and diffraction fringes only emerge when single/double slits are present, yet existing experimental equipment is fully capable of clarifying interactive mechanisms between photons and slit walls. Relevant foundational measurements have long been neglected. Third, the standard model’s artificially fitted spectrum of confined hypothetical particles, including quarks, gluons, the Higgs boson, neutrinos, virtual photons, quark-gluon plasma, etc. Heavy-ion collision experiments conducted at laboratories such as CERN can generate extreme temperatures of 2 trillion to 4 trillion degrees Celsius. Under such conditions, all solid particles fully dissociate into pure gamma photon clusters. However, to preserve the integrity of the standard model, scholars falsely claim stable quarks and gluons persist at ultrahigh temperatures, naming dense photon fireballs "quark-gluon plasma". They also introduce undetectable virtual photons to explain bidirectional conversion between photons and solid particles, fabricating imaginary intermediaries to obscure the straightforward objective law of energy-matter transformation, entirely abandoning the scientific spirit of pursuing objective truth. This paper clearly states its core stand: photons are pure energy particles with no inherent wave characteristics. The so-called "gravitational waves" defined by General Relativity do not exist objectively. The oscillating signals captured by detectors merely reflect variations in gravitational magnitude caused by relative motion of celestial bodies, rather than ripples propagating through spacetime. Gravitational force never travels in wave form. These three theoretical frameworks are tightly intertwined, forming a self-enclosed paradigm culture that prioritizes defending existing theories over exploring objective reality. They consume massive scientific research resources and continuously hinder humanity’s ability to interpret the fundamental laws of the universe through observable, logically consistent realistic concepts (the essence of photons, plasma refraction, instantaneous action-at-a-distance forces). This paper comprehensively lists all concepts inconsistent with empirical science, analyzes their flaws in logic, computation and experimental observation, and advocates reconstructing a unified physical framework grounded in observable material motion.
