THE ENTANGLED ONION: Spooky Action, Bell Violations, Decoherence, and Twelve Domains of Quantum Entanglement from Four Eigenvalues of A_F = ℂ ⊕ ℍ ⊕ M₃(ℂ)
Abstract: We derive quantum entanglement, the Bell inequality, decoherence, and "spooky action at a distance" from the ascending superoperator of A_F = ℂ ⊕ ℍ ⊕ M₃(ℂ) at β = 2π with bond dimension χ = 6. The MERA tensor network IS entanglement: each layer adds entanglement at a specific scale. The Ryu-Takayanagi formula (entanglement entropy = minimal cut through the MERA × log₂(6) bits per bond) has an exact proof in this framework. The maximum Bell violation S = 2.789 comes from χ = 6, nearly saturating the Tsirelson bound 2√2 = 2.828. Decoherence rates are determined by the four eigenvalues {1, ½, ⅓, ⅙}: identity-sector entanglement persists forever, weak-sector decays in 1.4 layers, strong-sector in 0.9 layers, mixed-sector in 0.6 layers. "Spooky action at a distance" is not action across space — it is connection through scale, via geodesics through the MERA bulk to a common ancestor tensor. We identify twelve domains governed by this eigenvalue spectrum: bird navigation (cryptochrome radical pairs), photosynthesis (FMO coherent transport), the human eye (single-photon detection), the brain (myelin entangled photons, Liu 2024), quantum cryptography (QKD), quantum computing ([36,12,4] error-correcting code), teleportation, black holes (ER=EPR), enzyme catalysis, DNA repair, quantum sensing, and consciousness (Orch OR, speculative). The [36,12,4] code protects 12 logical modes from decoherence while sacrificing 24 stabiliser modes. Four figures, an interactive 3D demonstration, and a Python verification script are included. Zero free parameters.

Zero free parameters. Entanglement is Einstein’s ‘spooky action at a distance’ — measure one particle and the other is instantly determined. This paper gives the fold’s reading, with no spook in it. Two entangled subsystems are not two things that influence each other — they are one shared state with a single origin in the One. The engine builds the pair as a composite of prime sectors 3 and 5 sharing the origin 1/15 = 1/(3·5), which cannot be factored into independent local parts. Folding (measuring) one face transversely determines the other — fold(1/15) = 2/15 — instantly, not because a signal crosses the gap but because there is no gap in the shared state. The correlation is non-local (one global object, not local pieces), which is why it survives Bell, and it sends no signal (each side alone is the fold’s self-opaque count). No action at a distance; only a shared origin. Machine-checked; reproduces from one command. A standalone result within the Smithian Fold Theory of Everything (SFTOE). Abstract: Quantum entanglement and Bell inequality violation are regarded as the most iconic non-classical phenomena in quantum mechanics, yet their physical origin remains mysterious. Within Space Ontology, we demonstrate that the nonlocal correlations between an EPR pair are not due to "spooky action at a distance," but are a natural manifestation of the intrinsic geometric correlations between two identical spatial modes generated by the same disturbance. We introduce the effective shape parameter alpha_eff and the geometric entanglement entropy E_geo, and derive from first principles the analytic relation between the CHSH polynomial S and E_geo: S = 2√2 · tanh(2E_geo(alpha_eff)). The classical limit (E_geo → 0) recovers Bell's inequality (S ≤ 2), while the quantum limit (E_geo → ∞) yields the maximum violation S = 2√2. By direct comparison with authoritative data from loophole-free Bell experiments, high-dimensional orbital angular momentum entanglement experiments, and the Micius satellite entanglement distribution experiment, the theoretical predictions are in excellent agreement with experimental observations — with typical deviations below 3% and no free parameters. We further propose schemes for actively designing entanglement resources by controlling the shape parameter of spatial modes, providing a new physical dimension for quantum communication and quantum computation. This work demonstrates that quantum nonlocality can be completely reduced to space geometry — twin ripples are telepathic because they share the same initial texture from the same spatial disturbance. This paper is the third in the first series (17 papers total) of Space Ontology.

Metadata and DOI remain public, and access can be requested. Einstein's "spooky action at a distance" conflates two distinct phenomena: statistical non-locality (correlations that violate Bell inequalities) and computational non-classicality (correlations that cannot be efficiently simulated classically). These are not the same thing. This paper shows that quantum non-classicality has two independent components: entanglement topology (which parties are correlated, measured by concurrence or entanglement entropy) and magic valence (what kind of non-classical correlations they share, measured by the Fano orbit label {p_L}). The Bell/CHSH framework captures the first component but not the second. The Fano Line Verification Game captures both. Crucially: a maximally entangled Bell pair |Φ⁺⟩ = (|00⟩ + |11⟩)/√2 is a stabiliser state — it has orbit label L=0 and zero magic. It violates Bell inequalities but is efficiently classically simulable by the Gottesman-Knill theorem. Computationally meaningful "spookiness" — the kind that enables quantum advantage — requires magic (non-zero orbit valence), not just entanglement. The Spacelike Associator Paradox, Hardy's Paradox, and the Fano Monogamy Paradox are revisited through this two-component lens. Each is sharpened: the ORBIT opcode provides a concrete experimental test distinguishing entanglement non-locality from magic non-locality in a single 7-measurement protocol. Einstein's objection to spooky action is reinterpreted: he objected to entanglement non-locality alone — the second component, magic non-locality, was not accessible to him. No signal. No spooky force. No preassigned vectors. One bivector. Two disclosures. Entanglement is not action at a distance. It is relation disclosed as distance. This paper offers a condensed refutation of the interpretation commonly called “spooky action at a distance.” It does not deny quantum entanglement, Bell correlations, or the empirical validity of quantum mechanics. Rather, it challenges the assumption that entanglement requires one particle to influence another across space. The central proposal is that an entangled pair should not be understood as two originally separate particles requiring later coordination, but as a single undisclosed bivector coherence relation that reduces into paired spin-vector outcomes under measurement. Bell’s theorem rules out preassigned local hidden vector values, but it does not require the conclusion that superluminal action occurs between distant particles. In this framework, the hidden structure is not a classical local variable, but the prior relational spin-plane from which the measured vectors are co-disclosed. Entanglement is therefore not action at a distance, but relation disclosed as distance. The phrase “spooky action at a distance” suggests that two separated particles somehow communicate or influence one another instantly. This paper argues that the phrase is misleading because it begins with the wrong picture. The entangled pair is not first two separate particles. It is first one relational coherence structure. Measurement does not send a message from one particle to another. Measurement discloses paired outcomes from the same underlying relation. In this view, the mystery is not solved by denying quantum mechanics. Quantum mechanics is preserved. Bell’s theorem is preserved. No faster-than-light signal is introduced. What changes is the ontology. The measured spin vectors are not more fundamental than the relation. They are reduced disclosures of the relation. The core claim is simple: 𝓑AB → (sA, sB) One bivector relation discloses as two correlated vector outcomes. There is no spooky force crossing space. There is one coherence relation disclosed through two measurement sites. Quantum entanglement is often interpreted as implying nonlocal influence or instantaneous collapse. In the Aetherium framework, entanglement is instead understood as a single coherence structure spanning multiple degrees of freedom within a pre‑geometric constraint architecture. Coherence does not propagate, time is relational, and measurement corresponds to a coherence‑reconfiguration event that selects a resonance‑compatible attractor for the entire shared structure. Bell correlations arise from the substrate’s resonance‑compatibility constraints rather than from nonlocal causation or hidden variables. Classical locality emerges only after coherence stabilizes into separate attractor states through decoherence. This coherence‑first ontology provides a single‑world, realist, and local account of entanglement that dissolves the appearance of “spooky action at a distance.” Keywords: Aetherium; entanglement; coherence; measurement problem; Bell correlations; pre‑geometric substrate; quantum foundations; decoherence; locality; resonance‑compatibility
