Truth Is Nothing: Conditional Universality and the Ontology of Belief-Structures

Abstract

This paper argues that truth has no ontological substance — no metaphysical core, no intrinsic property, no transcendent ground. What exists instead are belief-structures that stabilize under specific boundary conditions. Truth is a survival-effect of such structures. The paper develops this thesis across two interlocking registers: a philosophical argument and a formal mathematical grounding. Philosophically, the paper introduces the concept of conditional universality: universality is not rule-invariance across all contexts but structural recurrence under contextual transformation. A belief-structure is conditionally universal when it maintains a strictly positive viability distance from collapse across a family of variable contexts. This dissolves the classical dichotomy between absolutism (which requires rule-invariance) and relativism (which denies any universal condition). Under this framework, transparency is not a moral preference but an ontological necessity — opacity eliminates the self-correction required for sustained viability. Formally, the paper establishes two theorems. The Born-Consistency Theorem proves that any probability measure on the projectors of a Hilbert space satisfying Non-Contextuality (NC), Countable Additivity, and Tensor-Product Multiplicativity uniquely takes the form μ(P) = Tr(ρP) for a density operator ρ. This covers all dimensions including the qubit case (dim = 2) left open by Gleason's theorem, resolved here via composite embedding and partial trace. The Capture Theorem establishes the converse: NC violation entails the impossibility of a global density operator, forcing fragmentation into a family of frame-local measures disintegrated over a disjoint union of non-commutative contexts. These two results provide the formal foundation for the paper's central claim: global state representability is equivalent to measure invariance across contexts. Truth, formally construed, is this invariance condition — not a relation to an external world, not coherence within a framework, but measure-theoretic consistency across the full event algebra. The paper absorbs Foucauldian genealogy into this structural framework while specifying the conditions genealogy leaves implicit: the ontological difference between genuine structural viability and domination through suppressed differentiation. The Continuity of Being: An Ontological Derivation of Quantum Mechanics

Guillermo C. Barraza

This work presents a rigorous derivation of quantum mechanics from purely a priori ontological principles, a result not previously achieved within a single self-contained framework. Beginning with the apodictically certain proposition "I am"—immune to all doubt through performative contradiction—we establish through necessary deduction the Principle of Ontological Continuity (POC): Being is continuous and cannot cease or arise ex nihilo. From this single ontological foundation, the complete mathematical structure of quantum mechanics emerges as necessary consequence. We demonstrate that any mathematical representation of ontological continuity must have Hilbert space structure, that ontological conservation necessarily implies unitary evolution, and that the Schrödinger equation follows via Stone's theorem as mathematical necessity, not empirical postulate. The Born rule is derived through three independent converging arguments (Gleason's theorem, direct conservation requirements, and Zurek's envariance), establishing quantum probability as ontological necessity rather than interpretative supplement. Classical foundational problems—wave function collapse, the measurement problem, Bell's non-locality—are resolved without additional assumptions. Collapse emerges as effective description of decoherence; the observer is reconceptualized as self-aware subsystem without ontological dualism; Bell violations confirm ontological unity rather than presenting paradox. Quantum phenomena—superposition as ontological potentiality, tunneling as manifestation of continuity, Pauli exclusion as consequence of ontological structure—are shown to be necessary rather than mysterious. The work establishes quantum mechanics with apodictic certainty mediated through deductive necessity, demonstrating that quantum reality could not have been otherwise. This monograph integrates foundational ontology, mathematical formalism, and resolution of interpretative problems within unified self-contained framework. It deliberately closes at non-relativistic quantum mechanics, establishing stable foundation for future extensions (quantum field theory, general relativity, quantum gravity, normative ethics).

A Complete Operator-Theoretic Resolution of the Quantum Measurement Problem

Rodgers, Jeremy

This preprint presents a complete and fully operator-theoretic resolution of the quantum measurement problem. Including collapse, the Born rule, the uniqueness of outcomes, and the irrelevance of observersm derived entirely from a universal structural principle called the lawhood identity.Rather than adding new physics, modifying the Schrödinger equation, introducing hidden variables, invoking many-worlds branching, or appealing to consciousness, this work shows that quantum measurement is a direct, unavoidable consequence of a general fixed-point law that applies to all stable physical systems. When instantiated for quantum mechanics, this law forces every genuine superposition to fail the criteria for being a physically lawful state. Collapse is not an extra postulate: it is structurally mandatory.Key results include:• The No-Superposition Theorem: All superpositions are proven to be structurally unlawful; they cannot survive the measurement map. • Mandatory Collapse: Collapse emerges automatically from the composition of three physical operators (boundary, decoherence, and closure), without modifying quantum dynamics. • Derivation of the Born Rule: The familiar probabilities arise uniquely from the internal consistency of the measurement operators. No additional assumptions, decision theory, or symmetry arguments are required. • Observer Independence: Awareness and measurement are formally separated. Collapse is a physical, observer-independent process; knowledge acquisition is epistemic, not causal. • Uniqueness of Outcomes: The framework proves that there is only one stable classical outcome for any initial quantum state, directly resolving the many-worlds branching issue. • Experimental Signatures: The formulation predicts measurable relationships involving entropy, decoherence rates, and effective dimensionality. This paper shows that the puzzles of quantum collapse, superposition, outcome selection, probability, and the apparent role of observers, are not mysteries requiring new interpretations. They are the natural consequences of a deeper structural principle that governs all lawful physical systems. Quantum mechanics, under this lens, becomes a specific case of a universal operator identity that determines which states can persist as stable reality.Readers will find a complete, logically self-contained argument, with theorems and proofs written in a way that does not rely on philosophical interpretation or speculative assumptions. The result is a clear and testable framework that resolves a problem that has persisted since the birth of quantum theory. This work is part of a broader research program developing the universal Tier-0 lawhood framework and the “Everything Equation,” which unifies stability, collapse, and fixed-point structure across physics, computation, thermodynamics, and information. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17823241

Quantum Collapse

Horacio Villalobos Quezada

We present a reconstruction of quantum collapse within the FCF framework, where geometry and temporality are secondary expressions of a substrate of correlations, and where two magnitudes are conserved independently: c(structural-relativistic) and the quantum change q, bound together by τ = c+ q. We hold that collapse is neither an additional postulate nor a fundamental physical process, but rather the geometric re-expression of a correlation, constituted in the receiver frame. The expression / non-expression cycle T₁ → T₂ → T₃ reconstructs, without merely juxtaposing them, the two dynamics that standard quantum mechanics postulates separately —unitary evolution and projection. We show that the Born rule is derived, not postulated, as the only measure compatible with the restriction structure of the receiving Hilbert space (Gleason’s theorem), anchoring the orthomodular lattice in the program’s co-genesis theorem (Document 7); and that the impossibility of non-contextual hidden variables (Kochen–Specker theorem) falls out of that same structure. Probability is ontologically localized in the temporal domain T₂–T₃; the photon (τ = 0, level T₁) appears as the revealing limit that proves the seat of Born is always the receiving Hilbert space. We offer a dual reading —consistent with itself and with observation—between the language of quantum fields and their fluctuations and the language of type-1/2/3 correlations. We then develop the gravitational sector, where asingle commitment—gravity couples to the mean correlational structure (the c-side), not to the quantum branches—performs a fourfold function: it dissolves the conflict between collapse and covariant conservation of energy-momentum (Page–Geilker / DeWitt), predicts the absence of gravity-induced entanglement(falsifiable by Bose–Marletto–Vedral-type experiments), and blocks the superluminal signaling of nonlinear semiclassical theories (Gisin’s no-signaling condition, a ρ̂-fed prescription). The article closes with a register of critical dependencies —DERIVED / MOTIVATED PROPOSAL / OPEN PROBLEM—and with the registered falsifiers, locating the falsifiability of the FCF in its differentiating predictions, not in its internal coherence.

Ontometry and Supra-Boolean Algebra: Formal Foundations, Geometric Structure, and the Algebra of Intermediate Ontological States

Marx Agustin Garcia Delgado

Ontometry and Supra-Boolean Algebra: Formal Foundations, Geometric Structure, and the Algebra of Intermediate Ontological States This article introduces Ontometry as a formal discipline aimed at modeling ontological states that resist categorical classification within classical Boolean logic. While the mathematical structures employed—Lie-algebraic isomorphisms, tensor decompositions, and operator theory—are standard results of linear algebra and representation theory, their resemantisation constitutes the core contribution of the work. The central object is the supra-Boolean alphabet B* = {0, 1, 0̸, 1̸}, generated by the fundamental predicates of Existence (E) and Manifestation (M). Classical Boolean algebra operates on the phenomenological subset {0,1}, forcing a bivalent choice that fails to capture phenomena exhibiting ontological indetermination, gradual transitions, or essential superposition. The present framework expands this alphabet to four irreducible ontological states—Non-being, Full Being, Pure Potentiality, and Phantasma—and endows the resulting set with algebraic, geometric, and operator-theoretic structure. Key results include: (i) the construction of the Ethereal Operator E, whose involution property and non-commutation with the projectors P_E, P_M establish an ontological uncertainty principle structurally analogous to its quantum counterpart; (ii) the algebraic closure from the discrete set B* to the continuous positive cone R²_+, enabling the modeling of gradual ontological transitions; (iii) the identification of the singlet state |S⟩ as a state of maximum unresolved tension between Existence and Manifestation, emerging inevitably from the decomposition ½ ⊗ ½ = 1 ⊕ 0 and exhibiting maximal entanglement entropy S = ln 2; and (iv) the geometric embedding of the ontometric space T³ into a Lie-algebraic structure isomorphic to so(3), presented here in its static and interpretative dimension. The article does not claim to derive new theorems of linear algebra; rather, it offers an ontological vocabulary for states of essential indetermination that existing formalisms describe mathematically but do not interpret. It is the first instalment of a trilogy that will address Lagrangian dynamics and Noetherian conservation laws (Article II) and applications to artificial intelligence and multi-agent systems (Article III).

It from Bit, Bit from Fit: Foundational Physics Logically Remastered

Longmire, James (JD)

Every physical measurement ever conducted has yielded exactly one outcome: self-identical, non-contradictory, determinate. This paper argues that the Three Fundamental Laws of Logic (Identity, Non-Contradiction, and Excluded Middle) are not cognitive conventions but ontological constraints constitutive of physical distinguishability. From this thesis, quantum mechanics emerges as the unique stable structure at the interface between non-Boolean possibility and Boolean actuality. The framework derives rather than postulates: complex Hilbert space structure follows from interface constraints combined with the physical requirement of compositional consistency (local tomography); the Born rule follows from Gleason's theorem; unitary dynamics follows from information preservation requirements. One structural prediction, that quantum mechanics requires complex amplitudes, has been experimentally confirmed (Renou et al., 2021). The framework specifies twelve explicit conditions that would falsify it. Logic Realism Theory provides unified explanation for seventeen quantum phenomena that other interpretations treat as independent postulates, while maintaining realism, locality, and parsimony.
