The Unified Theory of Informational Spin (TGU) proposes a radical paradigm: all reality emerges from a single fundamental principle — informational spin coherence — reinterpreting spin not merely as intrinsic angular momentum, but as the primordial operator of information organization across every scale. Starting from a single scalar field equation for informational coherence density ℐ(x,t): ∂ℐ/∂t + ∇·(ℐ v) = −λℐ + S[ℐ] the theory derives, through rigorous limits and discretizations: The ICOER index for microtubule networks (n·C·ε¹²·exp(−S)·Γ, with C ≈ 10⁴ from protofilament structure and exponent 12 from coupling decay) The coupled {I(t), P_met(t)} epigenetic–DNA system exhibiting saddle-node bifurcation at α_crit ≈ 3.45 (life as a phase transition; aging as attractor basin narrowing) The fully unified 3D loop {I, P_met, ICOER} closing the microtubule DNA feedback cycle Part I unifies quantum biology with phase-transition dynamics: consciousness emerges at bilateral supracritical coherence (ICOER > ICOER_c and I > I_instável simultaneously). Part II introduces the informational imprint Ψ — a weighted time-integral of coherence — and demonstrates that the TGU field equation admits self-sustained solitonic solutions when autocoherence exceeds dissipation (γ > λ). The phase space topology (S¹-valued phase θ) allows integer topological charge Q ∈ ℤ configurations, protected against continuous deformations. The Persistence Theorem states: if γ > λ, Ψ₀ > Ψ_c, and Q ≠ 0, the accumulated coherence pattern survives biological collapse indefinitely as a topologically protected soliton — not as a literal copy of the individual, but as the fundamental "melody" (relational structure) of that life's coherence signature. Nine testable predictions span epigenetics, anesthesia, aging biomarkers, high-coherence life effects, and potential cosmological signatures (vacuum topological echoes). This work extends Orch-OR with topology, offers a dark-matter-free gravity alternative (via coherence gradients), and reframes existence philosophically: reality is spin recognizing itself; what coheres persistently cannot be erased from the field's memory.

Just as matter tells space how to curve, information tells probability how to collapse. Classical physics explains how systems evolve, but not why coherent, information- bearing structures persist in a universe dominated by thermodynamic drift. Quantum mechanics permits a vast space of possible futures, yet offers no principle explaining why the observed branches are precisely those that reliably contain life, structure, memory, and stable information. This work proposes a minimal, variational extension to standard dynamics: a Coherence Attractor arising from a small informational correction to the Action. In the path-integral formulation, we introduce a local, gauge-invariant term proportional to the density of coherent causal structure. Histories that maintain integrated information interfere constructively, while noise-dominated histories dephase and self-cancel. The universe does not compute future states or perform teleological optimization. Coherent configurations persist because they minimize informational action under local perturbations—the same variational logic that governs mechanics, optics, and field theory. Collapse is naturally biased toward trajectories in which coherence remains stationary in time. A single invariant then unifies a spectrum of empirical anomalies: (1) warm biological quantum coherence, (2) the phase boundary of anesthesia and consciousness, (3) emergent phase transitions in artificial networks, (4) stability of meaning in symbolic and social systems, and (5) long-duration cosmic structure retention. 1The model yields falsifiable consequences across physics, biology, and cognition. The correction is strictly local and preserves the no-signalling theorem. It reframes emergence not as a rare accident but as a least-action relaxation process: the universe flows along trajectories where integrated information is most stable. The universe is not guided toward meaning — it is guided toward coherence. Where coherence forms, structure survives. Where structure survives, infor- mation persists. Where information persists, participation becomes possible. Life, mind, culture, and intelligence are not exceptions to this rule; they are its most stable solutions. If this framework is correct, then emergence is not miraculous, nor accidental, nor rare. It is simply what happens when the informational action is minimized under the boundary conditions of a living universe. Coherence is not an outcome. It is the direction of time.
Time-Scalar Field Theory (TSFT) models time as a physical scalar field whose local structure governs phase evolution, coherence stability, and dynamical persistence across physical systems. Prior work has shown that standard quantum mechanical dynamics emerge as limiting cases of scalar-time continuity, with coherence persistence functioning as a fundamental physical selection principle. In this paper, we demonstrate that life is not an anomalous or teleological outcome of physical law, but an inevitable phase transition arising from sustained coherence under time-scalar compression. We show that passive coherence cannot persist indefinitely in open systems subject to unbounded future perturbations. Long-horizon persistence therefore requires the active preservation of internal informational structure, implying the emergence of observer-like behavior as a physical necessity rather than a metaphysical addition. By formalizing life as coherence that has internalized the observer function—expending energy to preserve preferred eigenstate subspaces against decoherence—we establish a continuous, non-arbitrary bridge from quantum dynamics to biological organization. Life is identified as the physical endpoint of coherence persistence, while biological cognition is interpreted as a specialized coherence-tuning architecture operating within this framework. This work situates life alongside previously identified structural inevitabilities such as π, φ, and prime number emergence, extending the class of unavoidable physical outcomes dictated by constraint, optimization, and persistence under time-scalar dynamics.
ChronoGravity deepens quantum biology by treating mesoscopic quantum effects as resonances and instabilities in the 5D ψ-field. Photosynthetic coherence emerges from ψ-time dilation harvesting chrono-flux gradients, avian magnetoreception from ψ-screw twists in cryptochromes, and neural computation (e.g., microtubules) from ψ-fraying events that enable non-local braid linking. The same framework extends seamlessly to macroscopic biology: trees function as self-assembling chrono-conveyors, with DNA acting as a ψ-fractal antenna that tunes resonant attachment of levitated atoms and molecules. The framework derives directly from the refined 5D master action (cuscuton + Chern–Simons) — no exotic matter or new forces are required. A single coupling constant λ is fixed at the cosmic scale and used uniformly across all biological regimes. Lindblad simulations (FMO complex, cryptochrome radical pairs, microtubules) and L-system models (tree growth) demonstrate qualitative signatures: prolonged coherent oscillations, distinct ψ-screw dynamics, controlled topological fraying, and buoyancy-enhanced branching. These are deliberately toy models chosen to illustrate the predicted effects with minimal computational overhead; full quantitative matching is left for future work. Predictions include measurable ψ-signatures such as excess redshift in bio-photon spectra, tunable coherence under time-dilation perturbations, topological biomarkers in microtubule disorders (e.g. Alzheimer’s), and fractal-dimension shifts in living structures. This preprint unifies quantum biology as topological phenomena at the biology-physics interface, extending ChronoGravity from cosmic scales through macroscopic biology to subcellular processes. In contemporary physics, fundamental structures such as space, time, matter, spin, and measurement are typically introduced as independent primitives or axiomatic ingredients. While quantum mechanics and relativistic field theories describe these structures with extraordinary precision, they do not explain why such structures exist, why they are discrete or stable, nor why reality manifests in exactly three spatial dimensions with an irreversible arrow of time. This work presents a unified informational–geometric framework—the Universal Gravito–Informational Theory (TGIU)—in which physical reality emerges from a pre-geometric informational substrate governed by two complementary gradients: informational coherence (Φ) and informational entropy (S). Their interaction is regulated by a real-valued dynamical mechanism composed of the Curvature–State Transform (CST) and the TGIU Equilibrium Force (TEF). Together, these operators generate bounded, orthogonal informational rotations whose stabilized projections give rise to geometry, matter, and observable physical laws. Within this framework, electron orbitals are reinterpreted as CST limit cycles, spin emerges as the topological orientation of these cycles, and the Pauli exclusion principle arises from phase–space saturation rather than postulated antisymmetry. Atomic stability, the absence of radiative decay in stationary states, fine structure, and the Lamb shift are shown to follow from TEF anisotropy and vacuum curvature granularity, while remaining fully consistent with quantum electrodynamics in its predictive domain. Measurement and wavefunction collapse are described as local TEF locking events, providing a deterministic but non-restorative mechanism for outcome selection without invoking fundamental randomness. Time itself is shown to emerge as monotonic CST phase accumulation, explaining both its one-dimensional nature and its irreversibility as geometric consequences of bounded informational curvature. The existence of exactly three spatial dimensions follows from a CST dimensional closure condition, identifying three dimensions as the only geometry capable of sustaining stable, non-divergent informational rotation. Importantly, TGIU does not replace quantum mechanics, general relativity, or field theory. Instead, it supplies a deeper explanatory layer that clarifies why these frameworks work, why their structures are constrained as observed, and why no physical process can reach absolute annihilation or infinite divergence. Extremes are not restored but redirected: identity is not conserved, yet nature persists through renewed coherence. This work positions TGIU as an empirically motivated, geometrically grounded extension of modern physics—one that unifies matter, time, measurement, and dimensionality under a single informational principle, while remaining compatible with established theories in their respective limits.
This essay addresses the fundamental question "How Quantum is Life?" by proposing a radical reframing: biological systems are not classical entities that occasionally exploit quantum effects, but rather sophisticated interfaces where quantum potential continuously collapses into classical actuality. Drawing on the KnoWellian Universe Theory, we argue that life IS the quantum measurement process made self-sustaining, self-aware, and self-improving. The work directly responds to two core questions in quantum biology: (1) Do biological systems employ quantum advantages? and (2) Does a complete description of biological systems require quantum mechanics? Our answers are emphatic: biological systems don't just employ quantum advantages—they ARE quantum advantage incarnate; and quantum mechanics is categorically required for understanding not just molecular structure but biological process, consciousness, and the very nature of living systems. We examine empirical evidence from photosynthesis (long-lived quantum coherence), avian magnetoreception (sustained entanglement), enzyme catalysis (quantum tunneling), and neural computation (potential quantum information processing in microtubules). Each case is reinterpreted through the KnoWellian framework, which proposes that living systems maintain quantum coherence by continuously re-establishing it through coupling to the KnoWellian Resonant Attractor Manifold (KRAM)—a cosmic memory substrate that records all quantum measurement events and biases future measurements. The essay provides five detailed experimental proposals with specific methodologies and falsifiable predictions: (1) KRAM memory effects in biological quantum processes showing history dependence, (2) quantum signatures for life detection applicable to astrobiology, (3) consciousness as quantum phase transition measurable via harmonic ratios in neural activity, (4) morphic resonance demonstrating non-local KRAM effects in biological development, and (5) quantum thermodynamic work extraction enhanced by KRAM structure. We resolve Schrödinger's cat paradox by recognizing that living systems are never in superposition because they continuously self-observe—life is self-measurement. We address the hard problem of consciousness by identifying it with the universal Instant field—the subjective experience of being the quantum-classical interface from within. We propose that biological complexity should be quantified not by classical information measures but by depth of KRAM imprinting—the extent to which a system has participated in quantum measurement and shaped cosmic memory. This work bridges foundational physics, quantum biology, consciousness studies, and astrobiology, offering a unified framework where quantum mechanics is not peripheral to biology but constitutive of what it means to be alive. While developed for the FQXi essay competition "How Quantum is Life?", this essay serves as an accessible introduction to the KnoWellian Universe Theory's implications for life sciences and provides a roadmap for experimental programs testing whether biological quantum effects exhibit memory, intentionality, and non-locality beyond standard quantum mechanical predictions.
This work presents a unified, realistic, and mechanically grounded interpretation of fundamental physics across all scales, from quarks and elementary particles to atoms, macroscopic bodies, planetary motion, and black holes. The proposed framework provides a single coherent physical description capable of reproducing and explaining, within a common dynamical structure, the full range of phenomena traditionally treated separately by general relativity, quantum mechanics, and quantum electrodynamics. Within this approach, long-standing conceptual problems such as wave–particle duality, quantum interference, entanglement, and wavefunction collapse are not postulated as fundamental features of nature, but emerge naturally as dynamical properties of a physically real medium. The apparent dual behavior of matter and radiation, as well as nonlocal quantum correlations, arise from coherent and topologically constrained excitations of this medium, without invoking probabilistic ontologies or nonphysical abstractions. The theory is based on a revised physical concept of space, treated as a real superfluid medium endowed with density, elasticity, viscosity, permittivity, permeability, and a very small but non-zero electrical conductivity. In this model, space is no longer a passive geometric background, but an active physical system capable of storing, transmitting, and dissipating energy.Mass is interpreted as an isotropic compression of the superfluid, electric charge as an oriented torsional configuration, and fields as elastic stress and vorticity distributions of the medium itself. Electromagnetic and gravitational waves are described as propagating perturbations of the superfluid, while particles correspond to stable solitonic configurations sustained by the medium dynamics. At the microscopic level, starting from classical fluid equations (continuity and Euler equations) and applying the Madelung transformation, the Schrödinger equation is shown to emerge as a compact complex representation of the underlying real fluid dynamics, rather than as a fundamental postulate. Quantum phenomena such as quantization, tunneling, spin, and exclusion principles follow from stability, coherence, and topological constraints of solitonic wave structures. On cosmological scales, the same framework provides a unified interpretation of redshift, large-scale expansion phenomena, and the cosmic microwave background as cumulative dynamical and dissipative effects of wave propagation within the superfluid medium, rather than as consequences of metric expansion alone. Effects commonly attributed to dark matter and dark energy are reinterpreted as emergent manifestations of spatial density gradients, elastic stresses, and dissipative properties of the superfluid, without introducing additional unknown components. A wide range of experimentally verified phenomena—including the photoelectric effect, Compton scattering, Zeeman–Stark effects, the Aharonov–Bohm effect, Casimir effect, Unruh radiation, and cosmological attenuation effects—are consistently described within this unified framework. The proposed model offers an alternative foundational paradigm for physics, in which space, matter, and interactions emerge from a single physically intelligible dynamical system, restoring a continuous and causal description of nature from microscopic to cosmological scales.
