Abstract

### Abstract (Part One: Crystalline Time → Quantum Kinematics) We present Part One of a two-part programme that connects a discrete, non-split “crystalline time” framework to the safest core of quantum kinematics, with every nontrivial statement backed by simulation certificates. The aim of Part One is intentionally narrow: we build (i) a geometric lexicon for phases and symplectic structure, (ii) a minimal and assumption-transparent route to the Schrödinger equation via unitary time translation (Stone’s theorem), and (iii) the Heisenberg uncertainty principle via symplectic commutators and the Robertson inequality. Born weights and the Dirac operator are deferred to Part Two, where the structural and interpretive inputs are heavier. Section 1 introduces the geometric dictionary: “phases” are treated as holonomies of a U(1) connection on a complex line bundle, and classical mechanics is formulated on phase space as a symplectic manifold (T*Q, ω = dp ∧ dq). On the framework side, crystalline time is encoded by a non-split extension 0 → Z24 → Z48 → Z2 → 0 with the decomposition K = 2k + p (k ∈ Z24, p ∈ Z2). The fine tick K → K+1 necessarily toggles p, while the coarse tick K → K+2 acts as k → k+1 and preserves p. The leaf observer is p-blind; we model this by a projection/coarse-graining Πp over the Z2 fiber, yielding an effective open-system dynamics on the leaf. Time-kinetic support is regulated by bridge kernels S and J through Kt = Zt(S + εJ), with ε controlling whether the leaf sector is hyperbolic (ε > 0), constrained/elliptic (ε = 0), or ghost-like (ε < 0). All of these statements are verified by discrete operator checks at machine precision. Section 2 derives Schrödinger from one minimal physical principle: strongly continuous unitary time translations U(t). By Stone’s theorem, U(t) = exp(−iHt/ħ), giving iħ ∂t|ψ(t)⟩ = H|ψ(t)⟩. We then show how this “safe tower” is realized inside the framework: define the leaf embedding E+ (pure-even state), the leaf projection P+ (extract ψ+), and the fine-step unitary U on Z48. The cadence-dependent leaf amplitude map A_eff(m) = P+ U^m E+ exhibits an exact even/odd dichotomy (confirmed by closed-form derivation and machine-precision verification). For even cadences m = 2r (i.e., N|48 with m = 48/N even), A_eff(m) is a unitary kernel shift S^r: purity remains 1 and entropy remains 0. For odd cadences m = 2r+1, A_eff(m) = S^r (I+S)/2 is contractive: average retention Tr(A†A)/24 = 0.5, a near-zero singular mode appears, and entropy is produced under the projected density-matrix channel. Numerically, starting from a pure-even state, one fine tick generates substantial odd support (||ψ−|| = 0.6146). A divisor-of-48 scan shows that N=48 (m=1) and N=16 (m=3) produce identical entropy/purity trajectories (up to translation), while all even cadences (e.g., N=24,12,8,6) remain unitary and entropy-free. We further connect the odd-tick projected map to a continuum generator: in the long-wavelength, diffusive scaling limit the comoving odd-tick dynamics converges to ∂t φ = D ∂x^2 φ, with D = Δx^2/(8Δt). This diffusion limit is validated numerically with relative L2 errors ≈ 9.3×10^−6 (smooth profile) and ≈ 1.0×10^−5 (delta profile) at t ≈ 0.01. Finally, the ε-controlled cone speed c^2 = Zx/(2εZt) is confirmed by right-moving packet propagation with v_meas matching c_pred to machine precision for ε ∈ {1, 0.3, 0.1, 0.03}. Section 3 derives uncertainty from symplectic structure. The symplectic backbone motivates the canonical commutator [x, p] = iħ, with discrete phase-space realizations through Weyl pairs. The Robertson inequality ΔAΔB ≥ (1/2)|⟨[A, B]⟩| then yields the Heisenberg bound ΔxΔp ≥ ħ/2. On the leaf kernel Hilbert space, a Gaussian wavepacket saturates the bound numerically: ⟨[Q, P]⟩ ≈ (−9.37×10^−17) + 0.9999999998486 i, ΔQΔP ≈ 0.4999999999337, and (1/2)|⟨[Q, P]⟩| ≈ 0.4999999999243. In parallel, the unitary translation group built from the kernel momentum operator satisfies ||U(t+s) − U(t)U(s)|| ≈ 2.06×10^−14 and ||U(Δx) − S|| ≈ 2.17×10^−14, and a finite-difference Schrödinger check yields a relative residual ≈ 1.09×10^−6 at dt = 10^−6. Part One therefore closes a reproducible bridge: (i) crystalline time plus a p-blind projection yields an exact cadence-dependent split into unitary (even) and contractive/entropic (odd) leaf dynamics, (ii) the unitary kernel sector realizes Stone’s theorem and Schrödinger evolution explicitly, and (iii) the symplectic backbone yields commutators and uncertainty with quantitative saturation. Part Two will address Born weights and the Dirac operator, where the required axioms/structures are heavier and must be handled with the same “Court” discipline.

A Clock That Squares to a Phase: Complex Structure and Born Weights from a Non‑Split Time Step

Diogenes

# Abstract — Complex Structure from a Non‑Split Fine Step, and Born Weights as Operational Closure We present a compact extension of the ε‑Projection (“time-as-leakage”) framework that targets a separate foundational “why”: why quantum theory is naturally formulated with complex amplitudes, and what minimal additional assumption fixes the Born weights once a complex structure is present. The starting point is the non‑split cyclic clock architecture (e.g., a \(\mathbb{Z}_{48}\) lift with kernel \(\mathbb{Z}_{24}\)), whose fine generator implements an unavoidable toggle+carry action on labels \(K=2k+p\). After Fourier transforming along the kernel direction \(k\), each momentum sector reduces to an explicit \(2\times 2\) unitary block \(g(q)\) satisfying the exact projective identity \(g(q)^2 = e^{iq}\mathbf{1}\). This makes the phase degree of freedom structural rather than decorative: the minimal faithful representation requires a rotation plane with an operator \(J\) obeying \(J^2=-\mathbf{1}\), i.e., a complex structure (equivalently, complex amplitudes or a real 2D formulation with \(SO(2)\cong U(1)\) phase rotations). We then give a worked IR/coarse-graining interpretation showing how repeated discrete fine steps admit a continuous, norm-preserving evolution of the form \(U(t)\approx e^{-JH_{\mathrm{eff}}t}\) (or \(e^{-iH_{\mathrm{eff}}t}\) in complex notation), with \(H_{\mathrm{eff}}\) self-adjoint. Complex structure alone does not yet specify probabilities. To close that gap at the “weights” level (without claiming to solve the full measurement problem), we state a minimal operational assumption: noncontextual additivity of probabilities over mutually exclusive outcomes represented by projectors (or, more generally, POVM effects). Under standard theorems (Gleason-type results, with POVM extensions covering the two-dimensional case), this assumption forces probabilities to take the trace form \(p(P)=\mathrm{Tr}(\rho P)\), yielding the Born weights \(p(P)=\|P\psi\|^2\) for pure states. The combined message is that (i) projective phase structure and a complex \(J\) arise naturally from the non‑split fine-step clock, and (ii) once one adopts the standard operational identification of “events” with subspaces/effects and requires consistent noncontextual additivity, the Born weights follow as the unique probability calculus. Open work is then cleanly separated: deriving measurement dynamics (records, effective irreversibility) from the projection/open-system sector rather than postulating it.

The Geometry of Quantum Mechanics: Hilbert Structure, Unitary Dynamics, Spin, Measurement, and the One-Particle Quantum Theory in Six-Throat Directed Spacetime

Ibrahim Mohammed Mussa

Paper XXII of the Six-Throat Directed Geometry program derives the mathematical structure of one-particle quantum mechanics from the directed spinor dynamics established on the regular closed six-throat spacetime. Starting from the conserved curved-spacetime Dirac current, the construction produces a positive and slice-independent inner product and its Hilbert-space completion. The corresponding geometric propagator is unitary and satisfies composition, inverse, and adjoint closure. Real physical observables are represented by self-adjoint operators with real spectra and orthogonal spectral resolutions. The compact global geometry yields an exact periodic commutator algebra, while the standard canonical position-momentum relation is recovered on regular local charts. The Robertson and Schrödinger-Robertson uncertainty relations then follow from the same Hilbert-space structure. The tetrad Clifford algebra generates the intrinsic spin-one-half representation, including the expected spin magnitude, the spinor sign reversal under a full two-pi rotation, and the rotational multiplets obtained by coupling orbital and intrinsic angular momentum. Detector-surface current is promoted from the direct Born-flux construction of Paper XXI to a general positive measurement structure described by a non-projective POVM and the trace probability rule. Density operators, purity, von Neumann entropy, conditional access states, and Kraus dephasing channels arise within the same measurement framework. The positive-energy Dirac branch reduces at low energy to Pauli dynamics and, when the spin-covariant terms commute appropriately, to the Schrödinger Hamiltonian. The same unitary framework yields the Liouville-von Neumann equation, the Heisenberg operator equation, and the Ehrenfest relations in the local directed potential. A forty-three-condition numerical closure audit satisfies all 43 declared conditions across the derived one-particle structure. Representative numerical results include Hilbert-product and unitary residuals at approximately machine precision, exact spin-one-half algebra to numerical precision, POVM completeness at machine precision, low-energy wave-packet infidelity of 3.16 × 10⁻¹⁰ for the stated audit configuration, and Schrödinger-Heisenberg expectation agreement at 5.66 × 10⁻¹⁷. The result is a single geometric chain from conserved spacetime flux to one-particle state space, unitary dynamics, observables, commutators, uncertainty, spin, measurement operators, statistical states, and the low-energy quantum equations. Composite systems, entanglement, exchange symmetry, quantum statistics, and variable-particle-number field theory remain subsequent structural layers and are not claimed as part of the present one-particle closure.

Bounded No-Go Theorems for Quantum Structure from Conscious-Agent Markov Dynamics

Robert McGwier

Hoffman’s conscious-agent formalism defines agents by Markov kernels on finite sets, anda programme has sought to obtain quantum mechanics—complex amplitudes, Hilbert space, unitary evolution and the Born rule—as outputs of that stochastic substrate. Papers I–III ofthis series closed the passive-readout, witness-inequality and Born-rule-inversion routes. Herewe examine the Eulerian control principles on the continuous-time nearest-neighbour jumprelative of the programme’s N -cycle substrate, with the phase S posited as an agent-carriedvariable and the rates depending on the population density, and ask which of them are exactlythe lattice Schrödinger pair at finite lattice spacing a. (i) No member with a kinetic termquadratic in the rates is exact, for any N , wherever its stationary drift exists (a degree count);by Legendre duality, (ii) no globally optimising member, with any cost, over an S-independentadmissible rate set, is exact on the whole configuration space, because the reduced Hamiltonianof a minimiser (maximiser) is convex (concave) in the phases while the lattice Schrödingerenergy is neither; (iii) an optimising member with bothprates free nevertheless exists—the2 —whose minimiser isconvex bond cost cQ (J) = ℏJ arcsin(J/Jmax ) + ℏJmax 1 − J 2 /Jmaxexactly the lattice Schrödinger pair, density dependence included, on the open winding-zerosector where every real bond phase satisfies |∆x | < πℏ/2, and which fails on the outer half ofthe zone, nodes included, and on every configuration with nonzero winding; with an activitycost selecting the symmetric part of the rates, that optimiser is the Bell–Vink process; (iv)exact stationary-point members exist beyond that sector, Bell–Vink among them, determinedup to the split of each bond energy and a uniform circulating current, with the branchselection as the rate law. The cost cQ is the entropic (Schrödinger-bridge) bond cost with thenoise scale continued to imaginary values, cE |Jmax →iJmax = −i cQ on principal branches, aformal correspondence. As a diagnostic, the fixed-noise Nelson–Yasue member with κ = +1carries the Euclidean sign of the quantum potential, κQ = −κ; the κ = −1 (Guerra–Morato)member is exact in the continuum and, where its stationary drift exists, departs from thelattice target at O(a2 ). Nelson’s law of motion, imposed on the fixed-total-rate kinematicswithin the rate bound |bx | ≤ 2νa for odd N , has the real-time sign, is exact for plane wavesand pure-potential configurations, and departs at O(a2 ) generically, with an exact vanishingfamily and in-regime counterexamples at N = 5, 7. A programme-status section recordsthat the substrate, read as a one-time operational probabilistic theory, lies in the classicalbranch of the Hardy and Chiribella–D’Ariano–Perinotti reconstructions, and corrects onestatement of Paper III (Barandes’ precondition is met by every finite-alphabet process; thesentence was true but empty). These are bounded no-go theorems for the reading constructedhere; no claim is made about quantum mechanics emerging from stochastic dynamics ingeneral. All machine results are exact-arithmetic and rerun bit-identically. The Round-1lattice results and the reconstruction-axiom checks were preregistered with blind priors; thetheorems added in revision were prompted by review and are machine-checked by successorverifiers, not preregistered.

The Relational Closure Framework: Toward an Axiomatization of Physics

Mingdong He

A finitist, relational axiomatization of physics: quantum theory and a relativity sector derived from four axioms about group-valued relations and closure. Contributions to the foundations of quantum mechanics (Born rule derivation, quantum reconstruction, local tomography, complex field selection), the emergence of time and causal structure in discrete networks, discrete Noether theorems, lattice gauge structure, and the Schrödinger equation derived by two independent routes. Every claim is graded in a Claim Ledger; every numerical claim is machine-verified with archived scripts; negative results are reported at full strength. What this paper does The universe is taken to be constituted by relations rather than objects. Stable relations form closures (self-consistent cycles) whose holonomies carry the physical content. Four axioms — primacy of relations (group-valued, edge-borne), closure stability, chirality from order, and observation as bidirectional group exchange — yield, at explicitly graded and conditional levels: Quantum sector Exchange-completeness theorems for finite label groups: abelian at all cycle ranks; non-abelian on the single cycle (Wilson readouts plus class-sum convolutions generate the full matrix algebra); the multi-cycle non-abelian case on the operational-equivalence quotient, with the obstruction completely characterized via class-preserving outer automorphisms — and the quotient's necessity now stratified by the source of word blindness (see New in Version 24.0). The Born rule, proved for finite abelian networks from a strictly weaker relational readout premise (statistics of realizable effects depend only on relational content); non-contextuality has this single source; additivity is basis-relative and declared as such. The Schrödinger equation by two routes of unequal premise grade, maintained side by side: a spectral route — the action operator is a weighted Cayley-graph Laplacian in the Pontryagin dual basis, the derived Gibbs state's unique canonical (modular) flow yields the Schrödinger equation with Hamiltonian equal to the action operator, no continuum limit, zero conjectures consumed, the single non-theorem step one flagged identification; and a Madelung route — physical and mechanism-rich (probability density derived from constraint gaps), valid exactly on the domain of the pseudo-continuity conjecture, with its full premise bill stated (continuity equation, Wallstrom circulation condition, m, V). A dedicated comparison subsection gives the line-by-line premise accounting and the machine-measured agreement region. Complex field selection: ℂ selected over ℝ and ℍ within the GPT comparison class in the covered sectors, with a second independent route from chirality (Frobenius–Schur dichotomy, quaternionic double exclusion); "uniquely selected" expressly not claimed. Positivity as pairing: all five in-text positive-semidefiniteness theorems traced to one mechanism (M = B†B with native factor); the Kraus form and complete positivity derived rather than assumed. The Noether sector on Noether's two theorems exactly: Noether I recovered on the holonomy action (compact Lie realization); Noether II identified as present (Bianchi as horn-filling, Schläfli as its Regge form); selection rules recovered for finite groups; the GNS bridge proved non-vacuously on the full exchange algebra; the sole potential extension — conservation as the kernel of exchange — isolated as a registered conjecture, consumed nowhere. A local–global representation theorem: six generative quantities (closure invariant, flux quantization, Weyl phase, non-abelian Stokes, orientation visibility, terminal normalization) are evaluations of cohomology classes against closed chains — one syntax, six exact machine probes. The gatekeeper no-go theorems registered and discharged: Kochen–Specker (the framework posits no global valuation — outcomes are resolutions of constraint gaps, and basis-relative additivity blocks state-independent variants), Pusey–Barrett–Rudolph (the statistical envelope is over resolutions yet to happen, not values already held; machine witness: identical configuration ensembles with opposite relative phase have opposite statistics), Wallstrom (registered as an explicit input, structurally discharged in the finite-abelian sector), Hegerfeldt (the Lieb–Robinson exponential tail identified as the only claimable front form for the continuum limit), Frauchiger–Renner (cross-agent certainty transfer presupposes kernel-free record transport, exactly what exchange-incompleteness excludes), and no-cloning (inherited in the covered sectors); Conway–Kochen and Colbeck–Renner noted as concordant. Relativity sector Time from finite capacity plus genuine randomness: the staging theorem (Θ(d) dependency depth, unbounded chains via the Moore bound; the quantitative failure law conditionalized on measure-level independence with exact minimal witnesses); the temporal quantum defined combinatorially, no Hamiltonian input. The speed of light grounded in an exact discrete dependency cone (combinatorial, no quantum input), the Lieb–Robinson bound consumed at cross-check grade only; a boost no-go theorem reducing Lorentz invariance to named statistical conditions, with the Collins fine-tuning objection recorded as a gate. The trace-descent theorem group: the growth-history measure forced onto the Mazurkiewicz trace quotient; chain reflection positivity at every depth with completely explicit spectrum. An equation sector of nine verification families (Schrödinger, Dirac, Maxwell/U(1), canonical commutator, Yang–Mills SU(2), Regge calculus, Klein–Gordon, Noether loop, Cartan curvature), where every machine-precision claim is the shadow of a proved backbone lemma — including the factor ½ of H = ½L + V, identified as the Wilson Fourier coefficient fixed by the action theorem. Four experimentally testable predictions, including a discriminating flat-versus-sigmoid visibility protocol. The Standard Model gauge group, ħ, and G remain open, with attack routes registered. How to read Three entry paths are marked in the document. Path A (derivational core): axioms → group structure → Noether sector → least action → Born rule → positivity. Path B (physical mechanisms): constraint propagation → time as determination → wave function as gap envelope → fields. Path C (scope and limits): the Claim Ledger, then Discussion and Open Problems — for the reader who wants to know what is claimed and what is not before reading anything else. The Claim Ledger is the single authoritative register of claim status; wherever body text sounds stronger, the Ledger governs. New in Version 24.0 (Version 23.0 is the immediately preceding public release; this version supersedes the internal V12–V15 and V17–V19 series, whose numbers are not used externally.) Version 24.0 resolves the structure of the multi-cycle non-abelian obstruction — the sector's longest-standing open front — following an external research exchange with three rounds of independent re-verification (fourteen core figures, three commutant instruments implemented independently, exact integer arithmetic on the obstruction side) and two rounds of counter-review that corrected one quantifier on each side: A dichotomy of the multi-cycle obstruction (new remark). Word blindness on multi-cycle networks has two identified sources, jointly covering every tested case, with opposite behaviour as cycle rank grows. Type I (global; graded): a class-preserving outer automorphism yields a commutant element by an argument free of cycle-rank reference; its non-triviality holds at theorem grade for b₁ ≥ d(G) via generating tuples, is monotone in b₁, and the threshold is measured at b_σ = 2 on the tested Wall group (at b₁ = 1 the permutation is the identity — no universal claim is made, and the existence of groups with threshold above 2 is registered open). Type II (local; measured): Out_c trivial but fusion fails on a proper subgroup, the blind pairs sitting in non-generating sectors — the same mechanism that defeats Wilson generation; this blindness heals: on every verified group (A₄, SL(2,3), A₄×ℤ₂) the full commutant collapses to trivial at b₁ = 3 by exact computation on two independently implemented instruments, although word readouts remain blind — the shift primitives separate, above a threshold, and the natural explanation (tuples becoming generating) is refuted by the persistence of blind blocks. Three boundaries at full strength: no exhaustiveness proof (a third source is not excluded); no general healing theorem (the verified groups all heal at 3, cause unidentified); the verified Type II sample is narrow. The quotient proposition restated in stratified form. The operational-equivalence quotient's necessity is now part of the proposition's own statement, in three strata: necessary where Out_c ≠ 1 at every b₁ ≥ b_σ(G), with b_σ ≤ d(G) at theorem grade; one-dimensional at b₁ = 2 on the fusion-type groups (verified cases); trivial at b₁ ≥ 3 on every verified fusion-type group and at every tested b₁ for word-separation-complete groups (a fourteen-group scan of orders ≤ 31 found no third source). Pre-registered validation preceded the restatement: a stratification-exhaustiveness scan (pass), a new-witness search (no new witness in range, downgrade clause applied as pre-registered), and a zero-conflict audit of the three strata against all archived data. The residual open problem is now precisely located. What remains of multi-cycle completeness: the rare Out_c ≠ 1 groups (54 in the exhaustive range through order 96) above their measured thresholds, the low-b₁ fusion stratum, a general healing theorem, and whether a threshold above 2 occurs. The multiplicity-freeness conjecture's mechanism sentence is corrected with the two regimes stated separately (at b₁ = 2 the shifts do not separate — the blind-pair transposition commutes with every primitive, integer-exact — and reduce the commutant to

Quantum Mechanics Without Dirac: Twisting, not Infinitudes

Charles Tibedo

08/10/26 v3 Update: Full Verification Suite uploaded. Thank you, CT This article provides a method to accomplish an informational/temporal split within the common Dirac equation framework for uncertainty and probability of quantum outcomes or state realizations. I see these as graphic resolutions, not abstract mathematical notions that require spooky theorems. This is also a method to study theorized time dilation effects. Thanks, Dr. Charles Tibedo Title The Atomic Basis of Linear Time: Deterministic Quantum Uncertainty & Engineering Isotopic Substrate Design Abstract A discrete mathematical-physics model is developed in which local physical timeis identified with unrealized state-potential freedom and is measured geometrically by linearcompression of a finite state-surface path onto its endpoint chord. We formulate a discrete state-time description in which physical time is identified with the locally unrealized fraction of quantum state freedom, rather than introduced independently as a continuous background parameter. Let the total local state capacity decompose as D=P+K, where P denotes potential state freedom and K the portion realized in kinetic electronic structure. The central identification is dtdτ=τ0τ=DP=LSLAB≡χ, where LS is the finite state-surface path length and LAB is its direct chord. Thus gravitational- or clock-like time variation is represented microscopically as linear compression of a realized state surface onto its endpoint chord. Electron density, momentum, radial structure, and time remain distinct physical quantities, but are directly correlated through this common invariant. For electronic states referenced to the nuclear boundary RN, the effective Bohr scale BL=Zeffa0 defines the normalized radial coordinate, while p∗ fixes the charge-momentum scale. A resolved subshell transition therefore generates the real split-time element dτλ=Zeff∣Δrλ∣/a0+∣Δpλ∣/p∗(ZeffΔrλ/a0)2+(Δpλ/p∗)2dt, with dτλ∈R,0<dtdτλ≤1. Hence a single external ordering interval dt decomposes into a family of physically distinct real time elements T(Zeff)={dτλ=χλ(Zeff)dt}λ, indexed by the locally realized electronic state geometry. The same invariant reformulates Dirac evolution as iℏ∂tψ=[βmc2χ+2c{χ,α⋅π}+χV]ψ, reducing for locally constant χ to iℏ∂tψ=χHDψ⟺iℏ∂τψ=HDψ. Spatial variation of the state-time field produces the additional Hermitian gradient contribution −2iℏcα⋅∇χ. The resulting physical interpretation is that matter does not merely evolve within a preassigned local time rate: its realized state geometry determines the local fraction of available physical time. In the continuum correspondence, −g00⟷dtdτ⟷DP⟷LSLAB, so the relativistic lapse is represented as the macroscopic image of a discrete microscopic state-compression invariant. The accompanying exact and numerical audit evaluates the LAB/LS identities, Zeff-indexed split-time family, generalized multidimensional compression theorem, Dirac spectral scaling, spatially varying Hermiticity, and unitary norm preservation across 219 successful checks. Physical Meaning: Time is the locally available potential for further physical state realization, and time dilation is its measurable geometric compression.

From Primitives to the Schrödinger Equation

Allen Proxmire

The Schrödinger equation iℏ ∂ₜψ = Ĥψ, with non‑relativistic Hamiltonian Ĥ = ℏ²|p̂|²/(2m) + V(x̂), has been quantum mechanics’s central dynamical statement for nearly a century. It governs atomic spectra, molecular bonding, semiconductors, neutron interferometry, and countless other empirical settings. The question is why it has the form it does. In standard QM, the Schrödinger equation is a postulate. The Hilbert space is given. The momentum operator p̂ = −iℏ∇ is given. The kinetic form |p̂|²/(2m) is inherited directly from classical mechanics — quantum theory simply adopts the classical T = p²/(2m) structure without deeper justification. The first‑order time derivative is chosen because empirically it works. Each piece is accepted because the resulting equation matches experiment. This walkthrough shows how the Event Density framework derives the Schrödinger equation, in its full standard form, from a smaller set of structural commitments about what reality is made of at the substrate level. Every element — the Hilbert space, the momentum operator, linearity, first‑order time structure, the kinetic‑plus‑potential form, the factor of 1/(2m) — emerges as a forced consequence rather than a separate postulate. The derivation runs through Stone’s theorem applied twice — once on spatial translation (forcing p̂ = −iℏ∇) and once on time translation (forcing existence and uniqueness of a self‑adjoint generator with automatic linearity and first‑order structure) — closed by Galilean Lie algebra integration that identifies the time‑translation generator with the kinetic‑plus‑potential operator. The factor of 1/(2m) emerges as the chain‑rule Jacobian of the Galilean commutator [Ĥ, K̂ᵢ] = −iℏ p̂ᵢ, not as a borrowing from classical mechanics. The first‑order time derivative is a consequence of operator exponentials, not a chosen feature.

Abstract (Part One: Crystalline Time → Quantum Kinematics) We present Part One of a two-part programme that connects a discrete, non-split “crystalline time” framework to the safest core of quantum kinematics, with every nontrivial statement backed by simulation certificates.

The starting point is the non‑split cyclic clock architecture (e.g., a Z48\mathbb{Z}_{48}Z48 lift with kernel Z24\mathbb{Z}_{24}Z24), whose fine generator implements an unavoidable toggle+carry action on labels K=2k+pK=2k+pK=2k+p. After Fourier transforming along the kernel direction kkk, each momentum sector reduces to an explicit 2×22\times 22×2 unitary block g(q)g(q)g(q) satisfying the exact projective identity g(q)2=eiq1g(q)^2 = e^{iq}\mathbf{1}g(q)2=eiq1. This makes the phase degree of freedom structural rather than decorative: the minimal faithful representation requires a rotation plane with an operator JJJ obeying J2=−1J^2=-\mathbf{1}J2=−1, i.e., a complex structure (equivalently, complex amplitudes or a real 2D formulation with SO(2)≅U(1)SO(2)\cong U(1)SO(2)≅U(1) phase rotations). We then give a worked IR/coarse-graining interpretation showing how repeated discrete fine steps admit a continuous, norm-preserving evolution of the form U(t)≈e−JHefftU(t)\approx e^{-JH_{\mathrm{eff}}t}U(t)≈e−JHefft (or e−iHeffte^{-iH_{\mathrm{eff}}t}e−iHefft in complex notation), with HeffH_{\mathrm{eff}}Heff self-adjoint. Under standard theorems (Gleason-type results, with POVM extensions covering the two-dimensional case), this assumption forces probabilities to take the trace form p(P)=Tr(ρP)p(P)=\mathrm{Tr}(\rho P)p(P)=Tr(ρP), yielding the Born weights p(P)=∥Pψ∥2p(P)=\|P\psi\|^2p(P)=∥Pψ∥2 for pure states. The combined message is that (i) projective phase structure and a complex JJJ arise naturally from the non‑split fine-step clock, and (ii) once one adopts the standard operational identification of “events” with subspaces/effects and requires consistent noncontextual additivity, the Born weights follow as the unique probability calculus. Open work is then cleanly separated: deriving measurement dynamics (records, effective irreversibility) from the projection/open-system sector rather than postulating it.
The multiplicity-freeness conjecture's mechanism sentence is corrected with the two regimes stated separately (at b₁ = 2 the shifts do not separate — the blind-pair transposition commutes with every primitive, integer-exact — and reduce the commutant to
08/10/26 v3 Update: Full Verification Suite uploaded.
