The ELS Framework: An Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics Based on Thought Experiments

Abstract

Using thought experiments as a central methodology, this project proposes a theoretical framework that bridges traditionally segregated academic perspectives—including physics, quantum mechanics, information theory, and thermodynamics. The ELS Framework reinterprets quantum phenomena through the lens of minimal degrees of freedom. Prioritizing conceptual architecture and physical intuition over rigid mathematical derivation, this research provides a unified explanation for quantum coherence, decoherence, material stability, and the fundamental relationship between time and density. Furthermore, this framework presents conceptual design ideas for future quantum technologies, energy control systems, and physics-based innovations. The ultimate goal of this project is to establish a foundational vision that invites future theoretical formulation and experimental validation.

Reality Behind the Quantum

Mehmet Serdar Kilin

This project is a theoretical study that aims to explain the seemingly counterintuitive results of quantum mechanics within a more understandable, causal, and conceptually unified framework. KZSK seeks to transform the approach sometimes summarized as “do not question, just calculate” into an approach of “question, uncover the mechanism, and make sense of it.” Rather than leaving quantum phenomena as disconnected mysteries, it attempts to bring them together under a common formative logic and a coherent physical process of emergence. In this way, KZSK aims to reduce as much as possible the idea that “quantum mechanics works, but we do not fully understand why it works this way.” From this perspective, KZSK is intended not merely as an interpretation of quantum mechanics, but as a formation architecture that seeks to explain why quantum behavior emerges. This architecture is based on three fundamental stages: 1. Timeless Root Reality: The formative foundation and relational order that precede physical spacetime. 2. Quantum Intermediate Form: The transition level between the timeless structure and temporal physical processes, where phase, sequentiality, and micro-temporal change begin to emerge. 3. Physical Spacetime: The classical level in which local interactions, measurement, and physical records become manifest. Within this structure, waves, particles, measurement, and entanglement are not treated as independent quantum mysteries, but as different stages and manifestations of the same underlying process of formation. KZSK also investigates the hypothesis that a more fundamental deterministic process may underlie the apparent probabilistic behavior of quantum mechanics. The aim is to develop this framework beyond a purely philosophical interpretation into a physical model candidate that can be mathematically formulated, further developed, and experimentally tested. KZSK is not yet a verified physical theory. Its physical validity must be evaluated through further mathematical development, quantitative comparison with existing experiments, independent research, and experimental testing.

Quantum Decoherence: A Theoretical Foundation

Jincheng Zhang

Quantum decoherence represents a fundamental challenge in the development and application of quantum technologies. This paper investigates the theoretical foundations of quantum decoherence, moving beyond the traditional view of it as a simple, isolated process. We argue that decoherence is a complex phenomenon arising from the interplay of multiple physical mechanisms at various scales. The core of this work is the development of a multi-scale model that integrates microscopic quantum effects – such as displacement, impurities, and time evolution – with macroscopic decoherence effects related to circuit design and material selection. We propose a framework for analyzing and simulating decoherence, recognizing the need for a more comprehensive mathematical description. This paper lays the groundwork for future research aimed at refining our understanding of decoherence and ultimately improving the robustness of quantum systems. ---

ELS Framework: Gradient-based Optical Potential Wells - Scattering Armor

Myeong Seop Kim

This project introduces the ELS Framework, a thought-experiment–based interpretative model that reexamines quantum entanglement, decoherence, and high-energy interaction processes through the lens of entropy flow and frequency-structured environments. Rather than treating decoherence as noise to be eliminated, this framework interprets it as a redistributable energy flow, which can be guided, layered, and stabilized under specific environmental conditions. Within this context, Scatter Armor is proposed as a conceptual structure that disperses interaction pathways, reducing local collapse while preserving global entanglement continuity. The core idea is not the isolation of quantum states, but the management of transitional processes—where energy, information, and degrees of freedom remain distributed yet correlated across multiple channels. Mathematical formalism is intentionally minimized in favor of conceptual clarity and physical intuition. While not presenting a validated theory or experimental design, this work aims to expand methodological perspectives on: Entanglement as a process-based connectivity rather than a static state Decoherence as an energy redistribution mechanism Gradient-based optical potential environments as stabilizing structures Possible conceptual extensions toward fusion-scale and high-energy systems This project is intended as an exploratory foundation for further theoretical refinement, modeling, or interdisciplinary discussion.

ELS Framework: Correlation Between Electrons and Photons, and the Concept of Time – Thought Experiment

Myeong-Seop kim

This document presents a conceptual thought experiment framework to rein-terpret electron-photon interactions and the flow of time. Unlike conventionalapproaches focused on quantitative formulas or specific physical conditions, thisframework emphasizes energy transitions, internal states, and minimal conditionsnecessary for consistent observation. The purpose is not to propose verified theoriesbut to explore conceptual structures and logical correlations. newbalancems@naver.com

A 4D Quantum Projection Framework of Space, Time, and Measurement

Mazen Zaino

This paper develops a theoretical framework that seeks to unify the foundational principles of quantum mechanics, general relativity, and thermodynamics by extending spatial geometry to include a compactified fourth spatial dimension. The central proposal is that many counterintuitive features of quantum systems—such as wave function collapse, superposition, entanglement, tunneling, and decoherence—emerge as phenomena from the projection of four-dimensional quantum states into observable three-dimensional space. Within this formulation, apparent quantum randomness is reinterpreted as a consequence of observing only a lower-dimensional slice of a higher-dimensional structure. A key innovation of the framework is the introduction of a scalar degree of freedom, termed the entropion field, which governs decoherence and encodes the thermodynamic arrow of time. The entropion field couples directly to both quantum fields and spacetime curvature, leading to modified Einstein field equations and an entropic extension of quantum field dynamics. This mechanism provides a consistent account of classicality emerging from quantum substrates, links entropy growth to projection dynamics, and clarifies how spacetime geometry constrains quantum evolution. The theory is presented through a structured progression of conceptual foundations, mathematical formalism, physical interpretation, and predictive consequences. Particular emphasis is placed on testable deviations from standard theories, including altered interference signatures in 4D-projected systems, entropion-modulated decoherence rates, and revised mechanisms of tunneling and entanglement. Broader implications are explored for quantum information theory, cosmology, condensed matter, and computational theory. Collectively, these results establish a geometrically grounded unification scheme that integrates the three major pillars of modern physics into a consistent and falsifiable framework.

A Conceptual Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics Based on Environmental Interaction, Wave–Particle Duality, and Measurement Constraints

Mokhdum Azam Mashrafi Mokhdum Azam Mashrafi

Quantum mechanics describes physical systems through probabilistic wave functions, accounting for phenomena such as wave–particle duality and the uncertainty principle. Although the mathematical formalism of quantum mechanics is well established, conceptual understanding of how quantum entities transition between wave-like and particle-like behavior remains an active area of research. In this work, quantum mechanical principles are re-examined from an interaction-based perspective, emphasizing the roles of environmental coupling, measurement geometry, and energy exchange. Using the photoelectric effect, de Broglie relations, and Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle as foundational elements, a conceptual framework is proposed in which particle identity emerges dynamically from wave interaction with matter and measurement constraints. This interpretation provides an intuitive bridge between classical reasoning and quantum behavior while fully preserving the standard mathematical structure of quantum mechanics...........Please check the attachment for details
